3 Und4060 also legte Salomo8010 den Grund3245, zu bauen1129 das Haus1004 Gottes430; am ersten7223 die Länge753 sechzig8346 Ellen520, die Weite7341 zwanzig6242 Ellen520.

4 Und die Halle197 vor6440 der Weite7341 des Hauses her war zwanzig6242 Ellen520 lang753, die Höhe1363 aber war hundertundzwanzig3967 Ellen; und überzog6823 es inwendig1004 mit lauterm Golde2091.

5 Das große1419 Haus1004 aber spündete er mit Tannenholz1265 und6086 überzog2645 es mit dem besten2896 Golde2091; und machte5927 drauf Palmen8561 und Kettenwerk8333.

6 Und68 überzog6823 das Haus1004 mit edlen3368 Steinen zum Schmuck8597; das Gold2091 aber war Parwaim-Gold2091.

7 Und1004 überzog2645 die Balken6982 obenan und die Wände7023 und die Türen1817 mit Golde2091; und ließ6605 Cherubim3742 schnitzen an die Wände7023.

8 Er machte6213 auch das Haus1004 des Allerheiligsten6944, des Länge753 war6944 zwanzig6242 Ellen520 nach der Weite7341 des Hauses1004, und3967 seine Weite7341 war2896 auch zwanzig6242 Ellen520; und überzog2645 es mit6440 dem besten Golde2091, bei sechshundert8337 Zentner3603.

9 Und gab auch zu Nägeln4548 fünfzig2572 Sekel Goldes2091 am Gewicht4948; und überzog2645 die Säle mit Golde2091.

10 Er machte6213 auch im Hause1004 des Allerheiligsten6944 zween Cherubim3742 nach der Bildner6816 Kunst4639 und überzog6823 sie6944 mit Golde2091.

11 Und die Länge753 am Flügel3671 an den Cherubim3742 war5060 zwanzig6242 Ellen520, daß ein259 Flügel3671 fünf2568 Ellen520 hatte5060 und rührete an die Wand7023 des Hauses1004, und der andere312 Flügel3671 auch fünf2568 Ellen520 hatte und rührete an den Flügel3671 des andern312 Cherub3742.

12 Also hatte5060 auch des andern312 Cherub3742 ein259 Flügel3671 fünf2568 Ellen520 und rührete an die Wand7023 des Hauses1004, und sein anderer Flügel3671 auch fünf2568 Ellen520 und hing am Flügel3671 des andern312 Cherub3742,

13 daß diese Flügel3671 der Cherubim3742 waren ausgebreitet6566 zwanzig6242 Ellen520 weit; und sie6440 stunden auf5975 ihren Füßen7272, und ihr Antlitz war gewandt zum Hause1004 wärts.

14 Er machte6213 auch einen Vorhang6532 von Gelbwerk, Scharlaken, Rosinrot und Leinwerk948; und machte5927 Cherubim3742 drauf.

15 Und er machte6213 vor6440 dem Hause1004 zwo Säulen5982, fünfunddreißig7970 Ellen520 lang753; und der Knauf6858 oben7218 drauf fünf2568 Ellen520.

16 Und machte6213 Kettenwerk8333 zum Chor und tat5414 sie oben7218 an die Säulen5982; und machte6213 hundert3967 Granatäpfel7416 und tat5414 sie an das Kettenwerk8333.

17 Und richtete die8034 Säulen5982 auf6965 vor6440 dem Tempel1964, eine259 zur Rechten3225 und die8034 andere259 zur Linken8040; und hieß7121 die zur Rechten3233 Jachin3199 und die zur Linken8042 Boas1162.

Chapter 3

1 THEN Solomon began to build the house of the LORD in Jerusalem on mount Moriah, in the place which David his father had prepared in the threshing floor which he had bought from Aran the Jebusite.

2 And he began to build the temple in the second month of the fourth year of his reign.

3 Now these are the measurements which Solomon measured for the building of the house of the LORD: The length of the house by the measure of the sanctuary was sixty cubits, and its height thirty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits.

4 And he made a porch in the front thereof; the length of it was the same as the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and its height twenty cubits; and he overlaid it within with pure gold.

5 And the greater house be ceiled with cypress wood, which he overlaid with fine gold, and he carved on it the likeness of palm trees and flowers.

6 And he adorned the house with precious stones for beauty; and he overlaid all of it with fine gold.

7 He overlaid also the house, from the front of the porch and its walls and its door posts, with fine gold, and he carved on it the likeness of palm trees and flowers.

8 And he made the sanctuary of the holy of holies; its length was the same as the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits; and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.

9 And he also overlaid the altar with fine gold.

10 In the most holy house he made two cherubim of solid material, and overlaid them with gold.

11 And the wings of the cherubim were twenty cubits long; one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.

12 And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.

13 The wings of these cherubim were spread forth twenty cubits; they stood on their feet and their faces were inward.

14 And he made the veil of blue and purple and crimson and fine linen, and wrought cherubim on it, and placed the ark in it.

15 Also he made in front of the great house two pillars, eighteen cubits long, and the capitals that were on the top of each of them were five cubits high.

16 And he made chains, fifty cubits long, and put them on the tops of the pillars; and made a hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.

17 And he set up the two pillars in front of the temple, one on the right hand and the other on the left; and he called the name of that which he set on the right hand, Jachin, and the name of that on the left, Boaz.
