Глава 19

1 И было возвещено Иоаву: вот царь плачет и печалится о Авессаломе.

2 И спасение, совершившееся в тот день, обратилось в плач для всего народа: ибо услышал в тот день народ, что царь скорбит о сыне своем.

3 И народ в тот день украдкою входил в город, так, как украдкою входит посрамленный народ, когда он на сражении обратился в бегство.

4 И царь закрыл лице свое, и рыдал! гласом великим: сын мой, Авессалом! Авессалом, сын мой, сын мой царь.

5 И вошел Иоав к царю в дом, и сказал: ты в стыд приводишь ныне лица всех рабов твоих, избавивших ныне душу твою, и душу сынов твоих и дочерей твоих, и душу жен твоих и душу наложниц твоих, -

6 Любя ненавидящих тебя и ненавидя любящих тебя, ибо ты показываешь ныне, что ничто для тебя - вожди и рабы; поелику я примечаю ныне, что если бы Авессалом был жив, а мы бы все ныне умерли, то сие приятнее было бы для тебя.

7 Итак встань, выйди и утешь сердце рабов твоих: ибо клянусь Господом, что если ты не выдешь, то ни один не останется ночевать с тобою сию ночь, и зло сие будет для тебя более всех зол, которые постигли тебя от юности твоей доныне.

8 И встал царь и сел в воротах, и всему народу объявили: вот, царь сидит в воротах. И пришел весь народ пред царя. А Израильтяне убежали каждый в шатер свой.

9 И весь народ во всех коленах Израилевых стал укорять друг друга, говоря: царь избавил нас от руки врагов наших, и освободил нас от руки Филистимлян, а теперь сам принужден был бежать из сей земли от Авессалома.

10 Авессалом же, которого мы помазали в царя над собою, умер на сражении, итак для чего же вы медлите возвратить царя?

11 Тогда царь Давид послал сказать Цадоку и Авиафару священникам: поговорите старейшинам Иудиным, и скажите: для чего вам быть последними в том, чтобы возвратить царя в дом его? (Ибо слова всего Израиля дошли до царя в дом его).

12 Вы братья мои, вы кость моя и плоть моя, для чего же вы остаетесь последними в том, чтоб возвратить царя?

13 И Амасе скажите: не кость ли моя и не плоть ли моя ты? То и то да соделает мне Бог, и то и то прибавит, если ты не будешь военачальником у меня во все дни вместо Иоава!

14 И преклонил сердце всех Иудеев, как одного человека, и они послали к царю сказать: возвратись и ты и все рабы твои.

15 И возвратился царь, и пришел к Иордану. Иудеи пришли в Галгал, дабы встретить царя и переправить царя чрез Иордан.

16 И Шимей, сын Геры, из сынов Вениаминовых из Бахурима, поспешил и вышел с мужами Иудиными навстречу царю Давиду.

17 И тысяча человек с ним от колена Вениаминова, и Цива, слуга дома Саулова, и пятнадцать сынов его, и двадцать рабов его с ним, и переправились за Иордан в виду царя.

18 И переправили плот для перевезения царского, чтоб сделать угощение ему. И Шимей, сын Геры, пал пред царем, переправившись чрез Иордан.

19 И сказал царю: не поставь мне, господин мой, в вину, и не воспоминай того, чем согрешил раб твой в тот день, в который господин мой царь шел из Иерусалима, и не держи того на сердце твоем.

20 Раб твой знает, что я согрешил; и вот я пришел сегодня, прежде всего дома Иосифова, дабы выдти навстречу господину моему царю.

21 И отвечал Авишай, сын Церуии, и сказал: неужели за то не будет умершвлен Шимей, что он злословил помазанника Господня?

22 И сказал Давид: что мне и вам сыны Церуии, что вы сегодня делаетесь для меня сатаною? Надлежит ли сегодня умерщвлять кого в Израиле? уже ли я не знаю, что я ныне царь над Израилем?

23 И сказал царь Шимею: не умрешь, и поклялся ему царь.

24 Также и Мефибошеф, внук Саулов, вышел навстречу царю. Он не мыл ног своих, и не подстригал бороды своей, и одежд своих не мыл с того дня, в который вышел царь, до того дня, в который он возвратился с миром.

25 Когда он пришел в Иерусалим для встречи царя, спросил его царь: для чего ты, Мефибошеф, не ходил со мною?

26 И сказал он: господин мой царь! раб мой обманул меня; когда раб твой сказал: оседлаю я себе осла и, седши на него, пойду с царем, поскольку раб твой хром;

27 То он наклеветал на раба твоего пред господином моим царем: но господин мой царь, как ангел Божий, итак делай, что угодно тебе.

28 Поелику весь дом отца моего не иное что был, как люди повинные смерти пред господином моим царем, - и ты поместил раба твоего в числе питающихся от стола твоего: то какое для меня оправдание, и могу ли уже жаловаться царю?

29 И сказал ему царь: зачем тебе говорить еще слова твои? Я говорю: ты и Цива разделите себе поля.

30 И сказал Мефибошеф царю: пусть он все возьмет после того, как господин мой царь возвратился с миром в дом свой.

31 И Варзиллай Галаадитянин пришел из Роглима, и переправлялся с царем чрез Иордан, чтобы проводить его за Иордан.

32 Варзиллай был весьма стар, лет восьмидесяти, и он кормил царя во время пребывания его в Маханаиме; человек он весьма богатый.

33 И сказал царь Варзиллаю: иди со мною и я буду кормить тебя у себя в Иерусалиме.

34 Но Варзиллай сказал царю: сколько остается лет жизни моей, и зачем идти мне с царем в Иерусалим?

35 Восемьдесят лет мне ныне: могу ли я распознавать хорошее от худого? найдет ли раб твой вкус в том, что я буду есть, и что я буду пить? могу ли уже слышать голос певцов и певиц? зачем рабу твоему быть в тягость господину моему царю?

36 Пусть раб твой немного пройдет за Иорданом с царем; но для чего царь воздает мне такое воздаяние?

37 Пусть возвратится раб твой, чтобы мне умереть в городе моем, при гробе отца моего и матери моей. Но вот, раб твой Кимгам, пусть он пойдет с господином моим царем, и ты делай ему, что хорошо в очах твоих.

38 И сказал царь: пусть пойдет со мною Кимгам и я сделаю ему, что хорошо в очах моих; и все, чего ты от меня ни пожелаешь, сделаю тебе.

39 И переправился весь народ чрез Иордан, переправился и царь, и облобызал Варзиллая, и благословил его, и он возвратился в свое место.

40 И пошел царь в Галгал, и Кимгам пошел с ним, и весь народ Иудейский сопровождал царя, также и половина народа Израильского.

41 И вот все люди Израилевы пришли к царю, и сказали царю: для чего украли тебя братья наши, мужи Иудины, и переправили царя с домом его чрез Иордан и всех людей Давидовых с ним?

42 И отвечали все люди Иудины людям Израилевым: царь ближе к нам; и почему ты за это сердишься? Разве мы получили угощение от царя, или подарки достались нам?

43 И отвечали люди Израилевы людям Иудиным, и сказали: моих десять частей в царе, да и в Давиде мы более вас имеем участие; для чего же ты унизил меня, и слово мое не было первым возвратить царя моего? Но люди Иудины говорили еще суровее, нежели люди Израилевы.

Chapter 19

1 And it was told5046 Joab,3097 Behold,2009 the king4428 weepeth1058 and mourneth56 for5921 Absalom.53

2 And the victory8668 that1961 day3117 was turned into mourning60 unto all3605 the people:5971 for3588 the people5971 heard8085 say559 that1931 day3117 how the king4428 was grieved6087 for5921 his son.1121

3 And the people5971 got935 them by stealth1589 that1931 day3117 into the city,5892 as834 people5971 being ashamed3637 steal away1589 when they flee5127 in battle.4421

4 But the king4428 covered3813 853 his face,6440 and the king4428 cried2199 with a loud1419 voice,6963 O my son1121 Absalom,53 O Absalom,53 my son,1121 my son!1121

5 And Joab3097 came935 into the house1004 to413 the king,4428 and said,559 Thou hast shamed3001 this day3117 853 the faces6440 of all3605 thy servants,5650 which this day3117 have saved4422 853 thy life,5315 and the lives5315 of thy sons1121 and of thy daughters,1323 and the lives5315 of thy wives,802 and the lives5315 of thy concubines;6370

6 In that thou lovest157 853 thine enemies,8130 and hatest8130 853 thy friends.157 For3588 thou hast declared5046 this day,3117 that3588 thou regardest neither369 princes8269 nor servants:5650 for3588 this day3117 I perceive,3045 that3588 if3863 Absalom53 had lived,2416 and all3605 we had died4191 this day,3117 then227 it had pleased thee well.5869 3477

7 Now6258 therefore arise,6965 go forth,3318 and speak1696 comfortably5921 3820 unto thy servants:5650 for3588 I swear7650 by the LORD,3068 if3588 thou go not forth,369 3318 there will not518 tarry3885 one376 with854 thee this night:3915 and that2063 will be worse7489 unto thee than all4480 3605 the evil7451 that834 befell935 5921 thee from thy youth4480 5271 until5704 now.6258

8 Then the king4428 arose,6965 and sat3427 in the gate.8179 And they told5046 unto all3605 the people,5971 saying,559 Behold,2009 the king4428 doth sit3427 in the gate.8179 And all3605 the people5971 came935 before6440 the king:4428 for Israel3478 had fled5127 every man376 to his tent.168

9 And all3605 the people5971 were1961 at strife1777 throughout all3605 the tribes7626 of Israel,3478 saying,559 The king4428 saved5337 us out of the hand4480 3709 of our enemies,341 and he1931 delivered4422 us out of the hand4480 3709 of the Philistines;6430 and now6258 he is fled1272 out of4480 the land776 for4480 5921 Absalom.53

10 And Absalom,53 whom834 we anointed4886 over5921 us, is dead4191 in battle.4421 Now6258 therefore why4100 speak2790 ye859 not a word of bringing7725 853 the king4428 back?

11 And king4428 David1732 sent7971 to413 Zadok6659 and to413 Abiathar54 the priests,3548 saying,559 Speak1696 unto413 the elders2205 of Judah,3063 saying,559 Why4100 are1961 ye the last314 to bring7725 853 the king4428 back to413 his house?1004 seeing the speech1697 of all3605 Israel3478 is come935 to413 the king,4428 even to413 his house.1004

12 Ye859 are my brethren,251 ye859 are my bones6106 and my flesh:1320 wherefore4100 then are1961 ye the last314 to bring back7725 853 the king?4428

13 And say559 ye to Amasa,6021 Art thou859 not3808 of my bone,6106 and of my flesh?1320 God430 do6213 so3541 to me, and more3254 also,3541 if518 thou be1961 not3808 captain8269 of the host6635 before6440 me continually3605 3117 in the room8478 of Joab.3097

14 And he bowed5186 853 the heart3824 of all3605 the men376 of Judah,3063 even as the heart of one259 man;376 so that they sent7971 this word unto413 the king,4428 Return7725 thou,859 and all3605 thy servants.5650

15 So the king4428 returned,7725 and came935 to5704 Jordan.3383 And Judah3063 came935 to Gilgal,1537 to go1980 to meet7125 the king,4428 to conduct the king over5674 853 4428 853 Jordan.3383

16 And Shimei8096 the son1121 of Gera,1617 a Benjamite,1145 which834 was of Bahurim,4480 980 hasted4116 and came down3381 with5973 the men376 of Judah3063 to meet7125 king4428 David.1732

17 And there were a thousand505 men376 of Benjamin4480 1144 with5973 him, and Ziba6717 the servant5288 of the house1004 of Saul,7586 and his fifteen2568 6240 sons1121 and his twenty6242 servants5650 with854 him; and they went over6743 Jordan3383 before6440 the king.4428

18 And there went over5674 a ferry boat5679 to carry over5674 853 the king's4428 household,1004 and to do6213 what he thought5869 good.2896 And Shimei8096 the son1121 of Gera1617 fell down5307 before6440 the king,4428 as he was come over5674 Jordan;3383

19 And said559 unto413 the king,4428 Let not408 my lord113 impute2803 iniquity5771 unto me, neither408 do thou remember2142 853 that which834 thy servant5650 did perversely5753 the day3117 that834 my lord113 the king4428 went out3318 of Jerusalem,4480 3389 that the king4428 should take7760 it to413 his heart.3820

20 For3588 thy servant5650 doth know3045 that3588 I589 have sinned:2398 therefore, behold,2009 I am come935 the first7223 this day3117 of all3605 the house1004 of Joseph3130 to go down3381 to meet7125 my lord113 the king.4428

21 But Abishai52 the son1121 of Zeruiah6870 answered6030 and said,559 Shall not3808 Shimei8096 be put to death4191 for8478 this,2063 because3588 he cursed7043 853 the LORD's3068 anointed?4899

22 And David1732 said,559 What4100 have I to do with you, ye sons1121 of Zeruiah,6870 that3588 ye should this day3117 be1961 adversaries7854 unto me? shall there any man376 be put to death4191 this day3117 in Israel?3478 for3588 do not3808 I know3045 that3588 I589 am this day3117 king4428 over5921 Israel?3478

23 Therefore the king4428 said559 unto413 Shimei,8096 Thou shalt not3808 die.4191 And the king4428 swore7650 unto him.

24 And Mephibosheth4648 the son1121 of Saul7586 came down3381 to meet7125 the king,4428 and had neither3808 dressed6213 his feet,7272 nor3808 trimmed6213 his beard,8222 nor3808 washed3526 his clothes,899 from4480 the day3117 the king4428 departed1980 until5704 the day3117 he came935 again in peace.7965

25 And it came to pass,1961 when3588 he was come935 to Jerusalem3389 to meet7125 the king,4428 that the king4428 said559 unto him, Wherefore4100 wentest1980 not3808 thou with5973 me, Mephibosheth?4648

26 And he answered,559 My lord,113 O king,4428 my servant5650 deceived7411 me: for3588 thy servant5650 said,559 I will saddle2280 me an ass,2543 that I may ride7392 thereon,5921 and go1980 to854 the king;4428 because3588 thy servant5650 is lame.6455

27 And he hath slandered7270 thy servant5650 unto413 my lord113 the king;4428 but my lord113 the king4428 is as an angel4397 of God:430 do6213 therefore what is good2896 in thine eyes.5869

28 For3588 all3605 of my father's1 house1004 were1961 but3588 518 dead4194 men376 before6440 my lord113 the king:4428 yet didst thou set7896 853 thy servant5650 among them that did eat398 at thine own table.7979 What4100 right6666 therefore have3426 I yet5759 to cry2199 any more5750 unto413 the king?4428

29 And the king4428 said559 unto him, Why4100 speakest1696 thou any more5750 of thy matters?1697 I have said,559 Thou859 and Ziba6717 divide2505 853 the land.7704

30 And Mephibosheth4648 said559 unto413 the king,4428 Yea,1571 let him take3947 853 all,3605 forasmuch310 834 as my lord113 the king4428 is come again935 in peace7965 unto413 his own house.1004

31 And Barzillai1271 the Gileadite1569 came down3381 from Rogelim,4480 7274 and went over5674 Jordan3383 with854 the king,4428 to conduct him over7971 853 Jordan.3383

32 Now Barzillai1271 was a very3966 aged2204 man, even fourscore8084 years8141 old:1121 and he1931 had provided853 the king4428 of sustenance3557 while he lay7871 at Mahanaim;4266 for3588 he1931 was a very3966 great1419 man.376

33 And the king4428 said559 unto413 Barzillai,1271 Come5674 thou859 over with854 me, and I will feed3557 thee with5973 me in Jerusalem.3389

34 And Barzillai1271 said559 unto413 the king,4428 How4100 long3117 8141 have I to live,2416 that3588 I should go up5927 with854 the king4428 unto Jerusalem?3389

35 I595 am this day3117 fourscore8084 years8141 old:1121 and can I discern3045 between996 good2896 and evil?7451 can518 thy servant5650 taste2938 853 what834 I eat398 or what834 I drink?8354 can518 I hear8085 any more5750 the voice6963 of singing men7891 and singing women?7891 wherefore4100 then should thy servant5650 be1961 yet5750 a burden4853 unto413 my lord113 the king?4428

36 Thy servant5650 will go a little way over5674 4592 853 Jordan3383 with854 the king:4428 and why4100 should the king4428 recompense1580 it me with such2063 a reward?1578

37 Let thy servant,5650 I pray thee,4994 turn back again,7725 that I may die4191 in mine own city,5892 and be buried by5973 the grave6913 of my father1 and of my mother.517 But behold2009 thy servant5650 Chimham;3643 let him go over5674 with5973 my lord113 the king;4428 and do6213 to him853 what834 shall seem5869 good2896 unto thee.

38 And the king4428 answered,559 Chimham3643 shall go over5674 with854 me, and I589 will do6213 to him853 that which shall seem5869 good2896 unto thee: and whatsoever834 3605 thou shalt require977 of5921 me, that will I do6213 for thee.

39 And all3605 the people5971 went over5674 853 Jordan.3383 And when the king4428 was come over,5674 the king4428 kissed5401 Barzillai,1271 and blessed1288 him; and he returned7725 unto his own place.4725

40 Then the king4428 went on5674 to Gilgal,1537 and Chimham3643 went on5674 with5973 him: and all3605 the people5971 of Judah3063 conducted5674 853 the king,4428 and also1571 half2677 the people5971 of Israel.3478

41 And, behold,2009 all3605 the men376 of Israel3478 came935 to413 the king,4428 and said559 unto413 the king,4428 Why4069 have our brethren251 the men376 of Judah3063 stolen thee away,1589 and have brought5674 853 the king,4428 and his household,1004 and all3605 David's1732 men376 with5973 him, over853 Jordan?3383

42 And all3605 the men376 of Judah3063 answered6030 5921 the men376 of Israel,3478 Because3588 the king4428 is near of kin7138 to413 us: wherefore4100 2088 then be ye angry2734 for5921 this2088 matter?1697 have we eaten at all398 398 of4480 the king's4428 cost? or518 hath he given us any gift?5379 5375

43 And the men376 of Israel3478 answered6030 853 the men376 of Judah,3063 and said,559 We have ten6235 parts3027 in the king,4428 and we589 have also1571 more right in David1732 than4480 ye: why4069 then did ye despise7043 us, that our advice1697 should not3808 be1961 first7223 had in bringing back7725 853 our king?4428 And the words1697 of the men376 of Judah3063 were fiercer7185 than the words4480 1697 of the men376 of Israel.3478

13 И Амасе скажите: не кость ли моя и не плоть ли моя ты? То и то да соделает мне Бог, и то и то прибавит, если ты не будешь военачальником у меня во все дни вместо Иоава!

14 И преклонил сердце всех Иудеев, как одного человека, и они послали к царю сказать: возвратись и ты и все рабы твои.

14 And he bowed5186 853 the heart3824 of all3605 the men376 of Judah,3063 even as the heart of one259 man;376 so that they sent7971 this word unto413 the king,4428 Return7725 thou,859 and all3605 thy servants.5650

15 И возвратился царь, и пришел к Иордану. Иудеи пришли в Галгал, дабы встретить царя и переправить царя чрез Иордан.

15 So the king4428 returned,7725 and came935 to5704 Jordan.3383 And Judah3063 came935 to Gilgal,1537 to go1980 to meet7125 the king,4428 to conduct the king over5674 853 4428 853 Jordan.3383

16 И Шимей, сын Геры, из сынов Вениаминовых из Бахурима, поспешил и вышел с мужами Иудиными навстречу царю Давиду.

16 And Shimei8096 the son1121 of Gera,1617 a Benjamite,1145 which834 was of Bahurim,4480 980 hasted4116 and came down3381 with5973 the men376 of Judah3063 to meet7125 king4428 David.1732

17 И тысяча человек с ним от колена Вениаминова, и Цива, слуга дома Саулова, и пятнадцать сынов его, и двадцать рабов его с ним, и переправились за Иордан в виду царя.

17 And there were a thousand505 men376 of Benjamin4480 1144 with5973 him, and Ziba6717 the servant5288 of the house1004 of Saul,7586 and his fifteen2568 6240 sons1121 and his twenty6242 servants5650 with854 him; and they went over6743 Jordan3383 before6440 the king.4428

18 И переправили плот для перевезения царского, чтоб сделать угощение ему. И Шимей, сын Геры, пал пред царем, переправившись чрез Иордан.

18 And there went over5674 a ferry boat5679 to carry over5674 853 the king's4428 household,1004 and to do6213 what he thought5869 good.2896 And Shimei8096 the son1121 of Gera1617 fell down5307 before6440 the king,4428 as he was come over5674 Jordan;3383

19 И сказал царю: не поставь мне, господин мой, в вину, и не воспоминай того, чем согрешил раб твой в тот день, в который господин мой царь шел из Иерусалима, и не держи того на сердце твоем.

19 And said559 unto413 the king,4428 Let not408 my lord113 impute2803 iniquity5771 unto me, neither408 do thou remember2142 853 that which834 thy servant5650 did perversely5753 the day3117 that834 my lord113 the king4428 went out3318 of Jerusalem,4480 3389 that the king4428 should take7760 it to413 his heart.3820

20 Раб твой знает, что я согрешил; и вот я пришел сегодня, прежде всего дома Иосифова, дабы выдти навстречу господину моему царю.

20 For3588 thy servant5650 doth know3045 that3588 I589 have sinned:2398 therefore, behold,2009 I am come935 the first7223 this day3117 of all3605 the house1004 of Joseph3130 to go down3381 to meet7125 my lord113 the king.4428

21 И отвечал Авишай, сын Церуии, и сказал: неужели за то не будет умершвлен Шимей, что он злословил помазанника Господня?

21 But Abishai52 the son1121 of Zeruiah6870 answered6030 and said,559 Shall not3808 Shimei8096 be put to death4191 for8478 this,2063 because3588 he cursed7043 853 the LORD's3068 anointed?4899

22 И сказал Давид: что мне и вам сыны Церуии, что вы сегодня делаетесь для меня сатаною? Надлежит ли сегодня умерщвлять кого в Израиле? уже ли я не знаю, что я ныне царь над Израилем?

22 And David1732 said,559 What4100 have I to do with you, ye sons1121 of Zeruiah,6870 that3588 ye should this day3117 be1961 adversaries7854 unto me? shall there any man376 be put to death4191 this day3117 in Israel?3478 for3588 do not3808 I know3045 that3588 I589 am this day3117 king4428 over5921 Israel?3478

23 И сказал царь Шимею: не умрешь, и поклялся ему царь.

23 Therefore the king4428 said559 unto413 Shimei,8096 Thou shalt not3808 die.4191 And the king4428 swore7650 unto him.

24 Также и Мефибошеф, внук Саулов, вышел навстречу царю. Он не мыл ног своих, и не подстригал бороды своей, и одежд своих не мыл с того дня, в который вышел царь, до того дня, в который он возвратился с миром.

24 And Mephibosheth4648 the son1121 of Saul7586 came down3381 to meet7125 the king,4428 and had neither3808 dressed6213 his feet,7272 nor3808 trimmed6213 his beard,8222 nor3808 washed3526 his clothes,899 from4480 the day3117 the king4428 departed1980 until5704 the day3117 he came935 again in peace.7965

25 Когда он пришел в Иерусалим для встречи царя, спросил его царь: для чего ты, Мефибошеф, не ходил со мною?

25 And it came to pass,1961 when3588 he was come935 to Jerusalem3389 to meet7125 the king,4428 that the king4428 said559 unto him, Wherefore4100 wentest1980 not3808 thou with5973 me, Mephibosheth?4648

26 И сказал он: господин мой царь! раб мой обманул меня; когда раб твой сказал: оседлаю я себе осла и, седши на него, пойду с царем, поскольку раб твой хром;

26 And he answered,559 My lord,113 O king,4428 my servant5650 deceived7411 me: for3588 thy servant5650 said,559 I will saddle2280 me an ass,2543 that I may ride7392 thereon,5921 and go1980 to854 the king;4428 because3588 thy servant5650 is lame.6455

27 То он наклеветал на раба твоего пред господином моим царем: но господин мой царь, как ангел Божий, итак делай, что угодно тебе.

27 And he hath slandered7270 thy servant5650 unto413 my lord113 the king;4428 but my lord113 the king4428 is as an angel4397 of God:430 do6213 therefore what is good2896 in thine eyes.5869

28 Поелику весь дом отца моего не иное что был, как люди повинные смерти пред господином моим царем, - и ты поместил раба твоего в числе питающихся от стола твоего: то какое для меня оправдание, и могу ли уже жаловаться царю?

28 For3588 all3605 of my father's1 house1004 were1961 but3588 518 dead4194 men376 before6440 my lord113 the king:4428 yet didst thou set7896 853 thy servant5650 among them that did eat398 at thine own table.7979 What4100 right6666 therefore have3426 I yet5759 to cry2199 any more5750 unto413 the king?4428

29 И сказал ему царь: зачем тебе говорить еще слова твои? Я говорю: ты и Цива разделите себе поля.

29 And the king4428 said559 unto him, Why4100 speakest1696 thou any more5750 of thy matters?1697 I have said,559 Thou859 and Ziba6717 divide2505 853 the land.7704

30 И сказал Мефибошеф царю: пусть он все возьмет после того, как господин мой царь возвратился с миром в дом свой.

30 And Mephibosheth4648 said559 unto413 the king,4428 Yea,1571 let him take3947 853 all,3605 forasmuch310 834 as my lord113 the king4428 is come again935 in peace7965 unto413 his own house.1004

31 И Варзиллай Галаадитянин пришел из Роглима, и переправлялся с царем чрез Иордан, чтобы проводить его за Иордан.

31 And Barzillai1271 the Gileadite1569 came down3381 from Rogelim,4480 7274 and went over5674 Jordan3383 with854 the king,4428 to conduct him over7971 853 Jordan.3383

32 Варзиллай был весьма стар, лет восьмидесяти, и он кормил царя во время пребывания его в Маханаиме; человек он весьма богатый.

32 Now Barzillai1271 was a very3966 aged2204 man, even fourscore8084 years8141 old:1121 and he1931 had provided853 the king4428 of sustenance3557 while he lay7871 at Mahanaim;4266 for3588 he1931 was a very3966 great1419 man.376

33 И сказал царь Варзиллаю: иди со мною и я буду кормить тебя у себя в Иерусалиме.

33 And the king4428 said559 unto413 Barzillai,1271 Come5674 thou859 over with854 me, and I will feed3557 thee with5973 me in Jerusalem.3389

34 Но Варзиллай сказал царю: сколько остается лет жизни моей, и зачем идти мне с царем в Иерусалим?

34 And Barzillai1271 said559 unto413 the king,4428 How4100 long3117 8141 have I to live,2416 that3588 I should go up5927 with854 the king4428 unto Jerusalem?3389

35 Восемьдесят лет мне ныне: могу ли я распознавать хорошее от худого? найдет ли раб твой вкус в том, что я буду есть, и что я буду пить? могу ли уже слышать голос певцов и певиц? зачем рабу твоему быть в тягость господину моему царю?

35 I595 am this day3117 fourscore8084 years8141 old:1121 and can I discern3045 between996 good2896 and evil?7451 can518 thy servant5650 taste2938 853 what834 I eat398 or what834 I drink?8354 can518 I hear8085 any more5750 the voice6963 of singing men7891 and singing women?7891 wherefore4100 then should thy servant5650 be1961 yet5750 a burden4853 unto413 my lord113 the king?4428

36 Пусть раб твой немного пройдет за Иорданом с царем; но для чего царь воздает мне такое воздаяние?

36 Thy servant5650 will go a little way over5674 4592 853 Jordan3383 with854 the king:4428 and why4100 should the king4428 recompense1580 it me with such2063 a reward?1578

37 Пусть возвратится раб твой, чтобы мне умереть в городе моем, при гробе отца моего и матери моей. Но вот, раб твой Кимгам, пусть он пойдет с господином моим царем, и ты делай ему, что хорошо в очах твоих.

37 Let thy servant,5650 I pray thee,4994 turn back again,7725 that I may die4191 in mine own city,5892 and be buried by5973 the grave6913 of my father1 and of my mother.517 But behold2009 thy servant5650 Chimham;3643 let him go over5674 with5973 my lord113 the king;4428 and do6213 to him853 what834 shall seem5869 good2896 unto thee.

38 И сказал царь: пусть пойдет со мною Кимгам и я сделаю ему, что хорошо в очах моих; и все, чего ты от меня ни пожелаешь, сделаю тебе.

38 And the king4428 answered,559 Chimham3643 shall go over5674 with854 me, and I589 will do6213 to him853 that which shall seem5869 good2896 unto thee: and whatsoever834 3605 thou shalt require977 of5921 me, that will I do6213 for thee.

39 И переправился весь народ чрез Иордан, переправился и царь, и облобызал Варзиллая, и благословил его, и он возвратился в свое место.

39 And all3605 the people5971 went over5674 853 Jordan.3383 And when the king4428 was come over,5674 the king4428 kissed5401 Barzillai,1271 and blessed1288 him; and he returned7725 unto his own place.4725

40 И пошел царь в Галгал, и Кимгам пошел с ним, и весь народ Иудейский сопровождал царя, также и половина народа Израильского.

40 Then the king4428 went on5674 to Gilgal,1537 and Chimham3643 went on5674 with5973 him: and all3605 the people5971 of Judah3063 conducted5674 853 the king,4428 and also1571 half2677 the people5971 of Israel.3478

41 И вот все люди Израилевы пришли к царю, и сказали царю: для чего украли тебя братья наши, мужи Иудины, и переправили царя с домом его чрез Иордан и всех людей Давидовых с ним?

41 And, behold,2009 all3605 the men376 of Israel3478 came935 to413 the king,4428 and said559 unto413 the king,4428 Why4069 have our brethren251 the men376 of Judah3063 stolen thee away,1589 and have brought5674 853 the king,4428 and his household,1004 and all3605 David's1732 men376 with5973 him, over853 Jordan?3383

42 И отвечали все люди Иудины людям Израилевым: царь ближе к нам; и почему ты за это сердишься? Разве мы получили угощение от царя, или подарки достались нам?

42 And all3605 the men376 of Judah3063 answered6030 5921 the men376 of Israel,3478 Because3588 the king4428 is near of kin7138 to413 us: wherefore4100 2088 then be ye angry2734 for5921 this2088 matter?1697 have we eaten at all398 398 of4480 the king's4428 cost? or518 hath he given us any gift?5379 5375

43 И отвечали люди Израилевы людям Иудиным, и сказали: моих десять частей в царе, да и в Давиде мы более вас имеем участие; для чего же ты унизил меня, и слово мое не было первым возвратить царя моего? Но люди Иудины говорили еще суровее, нежели люди Израилевы.

43 And the men376 of Israel3478 answered6030 853 the men376 of Judah,3063 and said,559 We have ten6235 parts3027 in the king,4428 and we589 have also1571 more right in David1732 than4480 ye: why4069 then did ye despise7043 us, that our advice1697 should not3808 be1961 first7223 had in bringing back7725 853 our king?4428 And the words1697 of the men376 of Judah3063 were fiercer7185 than the words4480 1697 of the men376 of Israel.3478
