1-е Послание Иоанна

Глава 3

1 Посмотрите, какую любовь дал нам Отец, чтобы мы были названы детьми Божиими; и мы уже дети Божии. Мир потому не знает нас, что не познал Его.

2 Возлюбленные, мы теперь дети Божии, и еще не явлено, что будем. Знаем, что когда Он будет явлен, мы будем подобны Ему, потому что увидим Его, как Он есть.

3 И всякий, имеющий эту надежду на Него, очищает себя подобно тому, как Он чист.

4 Всякий, делающий грех, делает и беззаконие, и грех есть беззаконие.

5 И вы знаете, что Он был явлен, чтобы взять грехи, и греха в Нем нет.

6 Всякий, пребывающий в Нем, не грешит; всякий согрешающий не видел Его и не познал Его.

7 Дети, никто да не обманывает вас: кто делает правду — праведен, как Он праведен.

8 Делающий грех — от диавола, потому что диавол грешит от начала. Для того явлен был Сын Божий, чтобы разрушить дела диавола.

9 Всякий, рождённый от Бога, не делает греха, потому что семя Его пребывает в нем, и он не может грешить, потому что от Бога рождён.

10 Дети Божии и дети диавола узнаются так: всякий не делающий правды, не есть от Бога, также и не любящий брата своего,

11 потому что такова весть, которую вы слышали от начала, чтобы мы любили друг друга,

12 не так, как Каин, который был от лукавого и убил брата своего. И почему убил его? потому что дела его были злы, а брата его — праведны.

13 Не дивитесь, братья, если ненавидит вас мир.

14 Мы знаем, что мы перешли из смерти в жизнь, потому что любим братьев. Не любящий пребывает в смерти.

15 Всякий, ненавидящий брата своего, есть человекоубийца, а вы знаете, что никакой человекоубийца не имеет жизни вечной в нем пребывающей.

16 Мы познали любовь в том, что Он положил душу Свою за нас. И мы должны полагать душу за братьев.

17 А кто имеет достаток в мире и видит брата своего в нужде и затворит от него сердце свое, как пребывает в нем любовь Божия?

18 Дети, будем любить не словом и не языком, но делом и истиной.

19 По этому мы узнаем, что мы — от истины и успокоим пред Ним сердце наше,

20 в чём бы ни осуждало нас сердце; ибо Бог больше сердца нашего и знает всё.

21 Возлюбленные, если сердце не осуждает нас, мы имеем дерзновение пред Богом,

22 и что бы мы ни просили, получаем от Него, потому что заповеди Его соблюдаем и угодное пред Ним делаем.

23 И заповедь Его та, чтобы мы веровали во имя Сына Его Иисуса Христа и любили друг друга по заповеди, которую Он нам дал.

24 И соблюдающий заповеди Его в Нем пребывает, и Он — в том. И, что Он пребывает в нас, мы узнаём по Духу, Которого Он нам дал.

Chapter 3

1 SEE how abundant the love of the Fa ther is toward us, for he has called us sons and made us: therefore the world does not know us because it did not know him.

2 My beloved, now we are the sons of God, and as yet it has not been revealed what we shall be: but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be in his likeness; for we shall see him as he is.

3 Let every man who has this hope in him purify himself, even as he is pure.

4 Whoever commits sin commits evil: for all sin is evil.

5 And you know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

6 Whoever abides in him does not sin: and whoever sins has not seen him, neither known him.

7 My children, let no man deceive you; he who does righteousness is righteous, just as Christ is righteous.

8 He who commits sin is of the devil; because the devil has been a sinner from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God appeared, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

9 Whoever is born of God does not commit sin because God's seed is in him; and he cannot sin because he is born of God.

10 In this the children of God can be distinguished from the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness and does not love his brother, does not belong to God.

11 For this is the commandment that you have heard from the beginning, that you must love one another,

12 Not as Cain, who belonged to the wicked one and slew his brother. And why did he kill him? Because his own works were evil, and those of his brother were righteous.

13 So be not surprised, my brethren, if the world hates you.

14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.

15 Whosoever hates his brother is a murderer: and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

16 By this we know his love for us, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for our brethren.

17 Whoever has worldly goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts his mercy from him, how can the love of God dwell in him?

18 My children, let us not love one another in word and in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

19 And by this we shall know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before he comes.

20 For if our hearts condemns us, how much more, then, will God who is greater than our hearts and knows all things.

21 My beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, then we have confidence before God.

22 And whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing to him.

23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he has commanded us.

24 Whosoever keeps his commandments will be guarded by him, and he will dwell in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit which he has given us.

1 Посмотрите, какую любовь дал нам Отец, чтобы мы были названы детьми Божиими; и мы уже дети Божии. Мир потому не знает нас, что не познал Его.

1 SEE how abundant the love of the Fa ther is toward us, for he has called us sons and made us: therefore the world does not know us because it did not know him.

2 Возлюбленные, мы теперь дети Божии, и еще не явлено, что будем. Знаем, что когда Он будет явлен, мы будем подобны Ему, потому что увидим Его, как Он есть.

2 My beloved, now we are the sons of God, and as yet it has not been revealed what we shall be: but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be in his likeness; for we shall see him as he is.

3 И всякий, имеющий эту надежду на Него, очищает себя подобно тому, как Он чист.

3 Let every man who has this hope in him purify himself, even as he is pure.

4 Всякий, делающий грех, делает и беззаконие, и грех есть беззаконие.

4 Whoever commits sin commits evil: for all sin is evil.

5 И вы знаете, что Он был явлен, чтобы взять грехи, и греха в Нем нет.

5 And you know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

6 Всякий, пребывающий в Нем, не грешит; всякий согрешающий не видел Его и не познал Его.

6 Whoever abides in him does not sin: and whoever sins has not seen him, neither known him.

7 Дети, никто да не обманывает вас: кто делает правду — праведен, как Он праведен.

7 My children, let no man deceive you; he who does righteousness is righteous, just as Christ is righteous.

8 Делающий грех — от диавола, потому что диавол грешит от начала. Для того явлен был Сын Божий, чтобы разрушить дела диавола.

8 He who commits sin is of the devil; because the devil has been a sinner from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God appeared, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

9 Всякий, рождённый от Бога, не делает греха, потому что семя Его пребывает в нем, и он не может грешить, потому что от Бога рождён.

9 Whoever is born of God does not commit sin because God's seed is in him; and he cannot sin because he is born of God.

10 Дети Божии и дети диавола узнаются так: всякий не делающий правды, не есть от Бога, также и не любящий брата своего,

10 In this the children of God can be distinguished from the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness and does not love his brother, does not belong to God.

11 потому что такова весть, которую вы слышали от начала, чтобы мы любили друг друга,

11 For this is the commandment that you have heard from the beginning, that you must love one another,

12 не так, как Каин, который был от лукавого и убил брата своего. И почему убил его? потому что дела его были злы, а брата его — праведны.

12 Not as Cain, who belonged to the wicked one and slew his brother. And why did he kill him? Because his own works were evil, and those of his brother were righteous.

13 Не дивитесь, братья, если ненавидит вас мир.

13 So be not surprised, my brethren, if the world hates you.

14 Мы знаем, что мы перешли из смерти в жизнь, потому что любим братьев. Не любящий пребывает в смерти.

14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.

15 Всякий, ненавидящий брата своего, есть человекоубийца, а вы знаете, что никакой человекоубийца не имеет жизни вечной в нем пребывающей.

15 Whosoever hates his brother is a murderer: and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

16 Мы познали любовь в том, что Он положил душу Свою за нас. И мы должны полагать душу за братьев.

16 By this we know his love for us, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for our brethren.

17 А кто имеет достаток в мире и видит брата своего в нужде и затворит от него сердце свое, как пребывает в нем любовь Божия?

17 Whoever has worldly goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts his mercy from him, how can the love of God dwell in him?

18 Дети, будем любить не словом и не языком, но делом и истиной.

18 My children, let us not love one another in word and in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

19 По этому мы узнаем, что мы — от истины и успокоим пред Ним сердце наше,

19 And by this we shall know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before he comes.

20 в чём бы ни осуждало нас сердце; ибо Бог больше сердца нашего и знает всё.

20 For if our hearts condemns us, how much more, then, will God who is greater than our hearts and knows all things.

21 Возлюбленные, если сердце не осуждает нас, мы имеем дерзновение пред Богом,

21 My beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, then we have confidence before God.

22 и что бы мы ни просили, получаем от Него, потому что заповеди Его соблюдаем и угодное пред Ним делаем.

22 And whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing to him.

23 И заповедь Его та, чтобы мы веровали во имя Сына Его Иисуса Христа и любили друг друга по заповеди, которую Он нам дал.

23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he has commanded us.

24 И соблюдающий заповеди Его в Нем пребывает, и Он — в том. И, что Он пребывает в нас, мы узнаём по Духу, Которого Он нам дал.

24 Whosoever keeps his commandments will be guarded by him, and he will dwell in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit which he has given us.
