Послание римлянам

Глава 14

1 Человека, слабого в вере, принимайте, не споря о мнениях.

2 Вера одного позволяет ему есть все, а слабый в вере ест только овощи.

3 Тот, кто ест все, не должен смотреть свысока на того, кто этого не делает, и тот, кто чего-то не ест, не должен осуждать того, кто ест, потому что Бог принял его.

4 Кто ты такой, чтобы судить чужого слугу? Перед своим хозяином стоит он или падает, но он будет снова поставлен на ноги, потому что Господь способен поставить его.

5 Кто-то различает дни как более и менее важные, а для другого все дни одинаковы. Пусть каждый и дальше поступает в соответствии со своими убеждениями.

6 Кто считает, что один день важнее другого, тот делает это для Господа. Кто ест что-либо — ест для Господа, потому что он при этом благодарит Бога, и кто не ест этого — тоже для Господа не ест и благодарит Бога.

7 Никто из нас не живет для себя и не умирает для себя.

8 Если мы живем, то живем для Господа, и если умираем, то умираем тоже для Господа. Живем мы или умираем — мы принадлежим Ему.

9 Ведь для этого и Христос умер и ожил, чтобы Ему быть Господом живых и мертвых.

10 Почему же ты судишь своего брата? Или ты, почему презираешь своего брата? Ведь все мы предстанем на суд Божий.

11 Написано: «Верно, как и то, что Я живу, — говорит Господь, — преклонится предо Мной каждое колено, и каждый язык воздаст хвалу Богу».

12 Каждый из нас ответит перед Богом сам за себя.

13 Поэтому не будем больше судить друг друга. Лучше смотрите за собой, чтобы не делать ничего такого, из-за чего брат ваш может споткнуться и упасть.

14 Я знаю и твердо убежден в Господе Иисусе, что нет никакой пищи, которая была бы сама по себе нечиста, но если человек считает что-либо нечистым, то для него оно нечисто.

15 Если твой брат оскорбляется из-за пищи, которую ты ешь, то ты поступаешь не по любви. Не губи своей пищей брата, за которого умер Христос.

16 Не давайте людям повода ругать то, что вы считаете добрым.

17 Царство Божье заключается не в пище и питье, а в праведности, в мире и в радости, которую дает Святой Дух.

18 Кто так служит Христу, тот доставляет радость Богу и заслуживает одобрения людей.

19 Будем же прилагать все усилия, чтобы делать то, что ведет к миру и взаимному назиданию.

20 Не разрушайте дела Божьего ради пищи. Вся пища чиста, но плохо поступает тот, кто через пищу приводит своего ближнего к падению.

21 Лучше не есть мяса, не пить вина и не делать ничего, от чего твой брат спотыкается.

22 Пусть твое мнение на этот счет будет твоим личным убеждением перед Богом, и счастлив тот, кто не осуждает себя за свой выбор.

23 Кто ест и в то же время сомневается в правильности своего решения, уже осужден, потому что он не поступает в соответствии со своей верой, а все, что не по вере, — грех.

Romans

Chapter 14

1 He who is weak in the faith, assist him. And be consistent in your reasoning.

2 For one believes that he may eat all things: another who is weak, eats vegetables.

3 Let not him who eats despise him who eats not; and let not him who eats not judge him who eats: for God has received him also.

4 Who are you to judge another man's servant? for if he is a success, he is a success to his master; and if he is a failure, he is a failure to his master. As for his success, he will succeed for it is in the power of his master to make him succeed.

5 One person values one day above another: another values all days alike. Let every man be sure in his own mind.

6 He who is mindful concerning a day's duty is considerate of his master; and every one who is not mindful concerning a day's duty, is inconsiderate of his master. And he who is wasteful, is detrimental to his master even though he confesses it to God; and he who is not wasteful, is not wasteful to his master, yet he likewise tells it to God.

7 For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself.

8 For whether we live, we live unto our LORD; and whether we die, we die unto our LORD: whether we live therefore, or die, we belong to our LORD.

9 For to this end even Christ both died and came back to life, and rose to be LORD both of the dead and living.

10 Why, then, do you judge your brother? or why do you despise your brother? for we must all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

11 For it is written, As I live, said the LORD, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess me.

12 So then every one of us shall answer for himself to God.

13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but rather be mindful of this, that you should never place a stumblingblock in the way of your brother.

14 For I know, and I have confidence in the LORD Jesus, that nothing unclean comes from him: but to him who believes a thing to be unclean, to him only is it unclean.

15 But now if you have caused your brother to grieve on account of meat, then you are not living in harmony. Do not make food a cause to destroy a man for whose sake Christ died.

16 Let not our blessings be a reproach to any one:

17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

18 For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and is approved by men.

19 Now let us strive after peace, and help one another.

20 And let us not, because of food, destroy the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is wrong for the man who eats with offence.

21 It is better that we neither eat meat nor drink wine nor do any other thing whereby we cause our brother to stumble.

22 You who have a certain belief, keep it to yourself, before God. Blessed is he who does not condemn himself by doing those things which he believes to be wrong.

23 For he who is doubtful and eats, violates his beliefs: for whatever is not of faith, is sin. The strong must help the weak.

2 For one believes that he may eat all things: another who is weak, eats vegetables.

3 Let not him who eats despise him who eats not; and let not him who eats not judge him who eats: for God has received him also.

4 Кто ты такой, чтобы судить чужого слугу? Перед своим хозяином стоит он или падает, но он будет снова поставлен на ноги, потому что Господь способен поставить его.

4 Who are you to judge another man's servant? for if he is a success, he is a success to his master; and if he is a failure, he is a failure to his master. As for his success, he will succeed for it is in the power of his master to make him succeed.

5 Кто-то различает дни как более и менее важные, а для другого все дни одинаковы. Пусть каждый и дальше поступает в соответствии со своими убеждениями.

6 Кто считает, что один день важнее другого, тот делает это для Господа. Кто ест что-либо — ест для Господа, потому что он при этом благодарит Бога, и кто не ест этого — тоже для Господа не ест и благодарит Бога.

6 He who is mindful concerning a day's duty is considerate of his master; and every one who is not mindful concerning a day's duty, is inconsiderate of his master. And he who is wasteful, is detrimental to his master even though he confesses it to God; and he who is not wasteful, is not wasteful to his master, yet he likewise tells it to God.

7 Никто из нас не живет для себя и не умирает для себя.

7 For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself.

8 Если мы живем, то живем для Господа, и если умираем, то умираем тоже для Господа. Живем мы или умираем — мы принадлежим Ему.

8 For whether we live, we live unto our LORD; and whether we die, we die unto our LORD: whether we live therefore, or die, we belong to our LORD.

9 Ведь для этого и Христос умер и ожил, чтобы Ему быть Господом живых и мертвых.

9 For to this end even Christ both died and came back to life, and rose to be LORD both of the dead and living.

10 Почему же ты судишь своего брата? Или ты, почему презираешь своего брата? Ведь все мы предстанем на суд Божий.

10 Why, then, do you judge your brother? or why do you despise your brother? for we must all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

11 Написано: «Верно, как и то, что Я живу, — говорит Господь, — преклонится предо Мной каждое колено, и каждый язык воздаст хвалу Богу».

11 For it is written, As I live, said the LORD, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess me.

12 Каждый из нас ответит перед Богом сам за себя.

12 So then every one of us shall answer for himself to God.

13 Поэтому не будем больше судить друг друга. Лучше смотрите за собой, чтобы не делать ничего такого, из-за чего брат ваш может споткнуться и упасть.

13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but rather be mindful of this, that you should never place a stumblingblock in the way of your brother.

14 Я знаю и твердо убежден в Господе Иисусе, что нет никакой пищи, которая была бы сама по себе нечиста, но если человек считает что-либо нечистым, то для него оно нечисто.

14 For I know, and I have confidence in the LORD Jesus, that nothing unclean comes from him: but to him who believes a thing to be unclean, to him only is it unclean.

15 Если твой брат оскорбляется из-за пищи, которую ты ешь, то ты поступаешь не по любви. Не губи своей пищей брата, за которого умер Христос.

15 But now if you have caused your brother to grieve on account of meat, then you are not living in harmony. Do not make food a cause to destroy a man for whose sake Christ died.

16 Не давайте людям повода ругать то, что вы считаете добрым.

16 Let not our blessings be a reproach to any one:

17 Царство Божье заключается не в пище и питье, а в праведности, в мире и в радости, которую дает Святой Дух.

17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

18 Кто так служит Христу, тот доставляет радость Богу и заслуживает одобрения людей.

18 For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and is approved by men.

19 Будем же прилагать все усилия, чтобы делать то, что ведет к миру и взаимному назиданию.

19 Now let us strive after peace, and help one another.

20 Не разрушайте дела Божьего ради пищи. Вся пища чиста, но плохо поступает тот, кто через пищу приводит своего ближнего к падению.

20 And let us not, because of food, destroy the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is wrong for the man who eats with offence.

21 Лучше не есть мяса, не пить вина и не делать ничего, от чего твой брат спотыкается.

21 It is better that we neither eat meat nor drink wine nor do any other thing whereby we cause our brother to stumble.

22 Пусть твое мнение на этот счет будет твоим личным убеждением перед Богом, и счастлив тот, кто не осуждает себя за свой выбор.

22 You who have a certain belief, keep it to yourself, before God. Blessed is he who does not condemn himself by doing those things which he believes to be wrong.

23 Кто ест и в то же время сомневается в правильности своего решения, уже осужден, потому что он не поступает в соответствии со своей верой, а все, что не по вере, — грех.

23 For he who is doubtful and eats, violates his beliefs: for whatever is not of faith, is sin. The strong must help the weak.
