Глава 21

1 Затем Иосафат умер и был похоронен со своими предками в городе Давида. Новым царём после Иосафата стал его сын Иехорам.

2 Братья Иехорама были: Азария, Иехиил, Захария, Азария, Михаил и Сафатия. Это были сыновья Иосафата, иудейского царя.

3 Иосафат подарил своим сыновьям много серебра, золота и драгоценностей. Он также передал в их владение хорошо защищённые крепости в Иудее. Однако царство Иосафат отдал Иехораму, потому что тот был его старшим сыном.

4 Иехорам принял царство своего отца и стал могущественным царём. Затем он убил всех своих братьев мечом. Он также казнил некоторых вождей Израиля.

5 Иехораму было тридцать два года, когда он взошёл на трон, и он правил в Иерусалиме на протяжении восьми лет.

12 Иехорам получил письмо от пророка Илии, в котором говорилось: «Так говорит Господь Бог, Которому следовал твой отец Давид: „Иехорам, ты не жил так, как жил твой отец Иосафат и как жил Аса, иудейский царь.

13 Ты жил так, как жили израильские цари. Ты заставил народ Иудеи и Иерусалима не делать того, что хотел Бог. Так поступал Ахав и его семья, которые не были преданы Богу. Твои братья были лучше тебя, но ты убил их.

14 Господь скоро накажет твой народ великим наказанием. Он накажет твоих детей, жён и всё твоё имущество.

15 Тебя поразит страшная болезнь внутренностей. С каждым днём она будет становиться всё хуже, и твои внутренности станут выпадать из-за этой ужасной болезни”».

16 Господь вызвал против Иехорама гнев филистимлян и аравитян, живших недалеко от земли эфиопов.

17 Эти люди напали на Иудею, забрали все богатства, принадлежавшие царскому дому, а также увели сыновей и жён Иехорама. Остался только младший сын Иехорама, которого звали Охозия.

18 А после всего этого Господь поразил внутренности Иехорама неизлечимой болезнью.

19 Через два года внутренности Иехорама выпали, и он умер в тяжких муках. Народ не зажёг большой огонь, чтобы почтить Иехорама, как люди сделали для его отца.

Chapter 21

1 Now Jehoshaphat3092 slept7901 with his fathers,1 and was buried6912 with his fathers1 in the city5892 of David.1732 And Jehoram3088 his son1121 reigned4427 in his stead.8478

2 And he had brothers251 the sons1121 of Jehoshaphat,3092 Azariah,5838 and Jehiel,3171 and Zechariah,2148 and Azariah,5838 and Michael,4317 and Shephatiah:8203 all3605 these428 were the sons1121 of Jehoshaphat3092 king4428 of Israel.3478

3 And their father25 gave5414 them great7227 gifts4979 of silver,3701 and of gold,2091 and of precious4030 things, with fenced4694 cities5892 in Judah:3063 but the kingdom4467 gave5414 he to Jehoram;3088 because3588 he was the firstborn.1060

4 Now when Jehoram3088 was risen6965 up to the kingdom4467 of his father,25 he strengthened2388 himself, and slew2026 all3605 his brothers251 with the sword,2719 and divers also1571 of the princes8269 of Israel.3478

5 Jehoram3088 was thirty7970 and two8147 years8141 old1121 when he began to reign,4427 and he reigned4427 eight8083 years8141 in Jerusalem.3389

6 And he walked3212 in the way1870 of the kings4428 of Israel,3478 like as did6213 the house1004 of Ahab:256 for he had1961 the daughter1323 of Ahab256 to wife:802 and he worked6213 that which was evil7451 in the eyes5869 of the LORD.3068

7 However, the LORD3068 would14 not destroy7843 the house1004 of David,1732 because3282 of the covenant1285 that he had made3772 with David,1732 and as he promised559 to give5414 a light5216 to him and to his sons1121 for ever.3605 3117

8 In his days3117 the Edomites130 revolted6586 from under8478 the dominion3027 of Judah,3063 and made themselves1992 a king.4428

9 Then Jehoram3088 went5674 forth5674 with his princes,8269 and all3605 his chariots7393 with him: and he rose6965 up by night,3915 and smote5221 the Edomites130 which compassed5437 him in, and the captains8269 of the chariots.7393

10 So the Edomites130 revolted6586 from under8478 the hand3027 of Judah3063 to this2088 day.3117 The same1931 time6256 also did Libnah3841 revolt6586 from under8478 his hand;3027 because3588 he had forsaken5800 the LORD3068 God430 of his fathers.1

11 Moreover he made6213 high1116 places in the mountains2022 of Judah 3063and caused the inhabitants3427 of Jerusalem3389 to commit2181 fornication,2181 and compelled5080 Judah3063 thereto.

12 And there came935 a writing4385 to him from Elijah452 the prophet,5030 saying,559 Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 God430 of David1732 your father,25 Because8478 834 you have not walked1980 in the ways1870 of Jehoshaphat3092 your father,25 nor in the ways1870 of Asa609 king4428 of Judah,3063

13 But have walked3212 in the way1870 of the kings4428 of Israel,3478 and have made Judah3063 and the inhabitants3427 of Jerusalem3389 to go a whoring,2181 like to the prostitutions2181 of the house1004 of Ahab,256 and also1571 have slain2026 your brothers251 of your father's1 house,1004 which were better2896 than yourself:

14 Behold,2009 with a great1419 plague4046 will the LORD3068 smite5062 your people,5971 and your children,1121 and your wives,802 and all3605 your goods:7399

15 And you shall have great7227 sickness2483 by disease4245 of your bowels,4578 until5704 your bowels4578 fall3318 out by reason4480 of the sickness2483 day3117 by day.3117

16 Moreover the LORD3068 stirred5782 up against5921 Jehoram3088 the spirit7307 of the Philistines,6430 and of the Arabians,6163 that were near3027 the Ethiopians:3569

17 And they came5927 up into Judah,3063 and broke1234 into it, and carried7617 away7617 all3605 the substance7399 that was found4672 in the king's4428 house,1004 and his sons1121 also,1571 and his wives;802 so that there was never3808 a son1121 left7604 him, save3588 518 Jehoahaz,3059 the youngest6996 of his sons.1121

18 And after310 all3605 this2063 the LORD3068 smote5062 him in his bowels4578 with an incurable369 4832 disease.2483

19 And it came1961 to pass, that in process of time,3117 after the end7093 of two8147 years,3117 his bowels4578 fell3318 out by reason5973 of his sickness:2483 so he died4191 of sore7451 diseases.8463 And his people5971 made6213 no3808 burning8316 for him, like the burning8316 of his fathers.1

20 Thirty7970 and two8147 years old1121 was he when he began to reign,4427 and he reigned4427 in Jerusalem3389 eight8083 years,8141 and departed3212 without3808 being desired.2532 However, they buried6912 him in the city5892 of David,1732 but not in the sepulchers6913 of the kings.4428

8 Во времена Иехорама Едом восстал против Иудеи, и едомский народ выбрал своего царя.

8 In his days3117 the Edomites130 revolted6586 from under8478 the dominion3027 of Judah,3063 and made themselves1992 a king.4428

9 Затем Иехорам пошёл на Едом со всеми своими начальниками и колесницами. Войско идумеян окружило их, но Иехорам и его начальники колесниц ночью напали на идумеян и вышли из окружения.

9 Then Jehoram3088 went5674 forth5674 with his princes,8269 and all3605 his chariots7393 with him: and he rose6965 up by night,3915 and smote5221 the Edomites130 which compassed5437 him in, and the captains8269 of the chariots.7393

10 Едумеяне отделились от иудеев; они свободны и до сего дня. В то же время восстала и Ливна, потому что Иехорам оставил Господа Бога, Которому следовали его предки.

10 So the Edomites130 revolted6586 from under8478 the hand3027 of Judah3063 to this2088 day.3117 The same1931 time6256 also did Libnah3841 revolt6586 from under8478 his hand;3027 because3588 he had forsaken5800 the LORD3068 God430 of his fathers.1

11 Иехорам также построил высоты на холмах Иудеи, и из-за него жители Иерусалима перестали делать то, что хотел Бог, так как Иорам увёл народ Иудеи от Господа.

11 Moreover he made6213 high1116 places in the mountains2022 of Judah 3063and caused the inhabitants3427 of Jerusalem3389 to commit2181 fornication,2181 and compelled5080 Judah3063 thereto.

12 Иехорам получил письмо от пророка Илии, в котором говорилось: «Так говорит Господь Бог, Которому следовал твой отец Давид: „Иехорам, ты не жил так, как жил твой отец Иосафат и как жил Аса, иудейский царь.

13 Ты жил так, как жили израильские цари. Ты заставил народ Иудеи и Иерусалима не делать того, что хотел Бог. Так поступал Ахав и его семья, которые не были преданы Богу. Твои братья были лучше тебя, но ты убил их.

14 Господь скоро накажет твой народ великим наказанием. Он накажет твоих детей, жён и всё твоё имущество.

16 Господь вызвал против Иехорама гнев филистимлян и аравитян, живших недалеко от земли эфиопов.

18 А после всего этого Господь поразил внутренности Иехорама неизлечимой болезнью.

19 Через два года внутренности Иехорама выпали, и он умер в тяжких муках. Народ не зажёг большой огонь, чтобы почтить Иехорама, как люди сделали для его отца.
