Глава 10

1 После смерти Авимелеха Бог послал другого судью, по имени Фола, чтобы спасти народ Израиля. Фола был сыном Фуи, сына Додо из рода Иссахара. Он жил в городе Шамир, который располагался в горной стране Ефрема,

2 и был судьёй Израиля двадцать три года. Он умер и был похоронен в городе Шамир.

3 После смерти Фолы появился Иаир из местности Галаад; он был судьёй Израиля двадцать два года.

4 У Иаира было тридцать сыновей, которые ездили на тридцати ослах. У них было тридцать городов в Галаадской земле, которые до сих пор называют городами Иаира.

5 Иаир умер и был похоронен в городе Камон.

6 Израильтяне продолжали творить зло в глазах Господа и поклонялись лжебогам Ваалу и Астарте. Они также поклонялись арамейским, сидонским, моавским, аммонитским и филистимским богам, а Господа оставили и не служили Ему.

7 Тогда разгневался Господь на народ Израиля и позволил филистимлянам и аммонитянам одолеть их.

8 В тот же год они разбили народ Израиля и восемнадцать лет угнетали израильтян, которые жили на восточном берегу реки Иордан в Галааде, на Аморрейской земле.

9 Затем аммонитяне перешли реку Иордан и пошли войной против народа Иуды, Вениамина и Ефрема. Аммонитяне принесли много несчастий народу Израиля.

10 И стали сыновья Израиля молить Господа о помощи. «Боже, мы согрешили против Тебя. Мы оставили нашего Бога и поклонялись лжебогу Ваалу», — сказали они.

11 Господь сказал народу Израиля: «Вы молили меня о помощи, когда вас угнетали египтяне, аморреи, аммонитяне и филистимляне. Я спас вас от этих людей.

12 Вы молили Меня о помощи, когда вас угнетали сидоняне, амаликитяне и мадиамитяне, и Я снова спас вас.

13 Но вы оставили Меня и стали служить другим богам. Я не буду вас больше спасать.

14 Идите и просите помощи у тех богов, которых вы себе выбрали. Пусть они спасают вас в тяжёлое для вас время».

15 Но народ Израиля сказал Господу: «Мы согрешили. Делай с нами всё, что Тебе угодно, только спаси нас сейчас».

16 Тогда народ Израиля отверг чужих богов и снова стал служить Господу. И, видя, как они страдают, Господь пожалел их.

17 Аммонитяне собрались воевать и разбили свой лагерь на Галаадской земле. Сыновья Израиля тоже собрались и расположились в городе Мицфа.

18 Вожди галаадского народа сказали: «Кто первым начнёт войну против аммонитян, тот станет начальником всех жителей Галаада».

1 And after310 Abimelech40 there arose6965 to defend3467 853 Israel3478 Tola8439 the son1121 of Puah,6312 the son1121 of Dodo,1734 a man376 of Issachar;3485 and he1931 dwelt3427 in Shamir8069 in mount2022 Ephraim.669

2 And he judged8199 853 Israel3478 twenty6242 and three7969 years,8141 and died,4191 and was buried6912 in Shamir.8069

3 And after310 him arose6965 Jair,2971 a Gileadite,1569 and judged8199 853 Israel3478 twenty6242 and two8147 years.8141

4 And he had1961 thirty7970 sons1121 that rode7392 on5921 thirty7970 ass colts,5895 and they had thirty7970 cities,5892 which are called7121 Havoth-jair2334 unto5704 this2088 day,3117 which834 are in the land776 of Gilead.1568

5 And Jair2971 died,4191 and was buried6912 in Camon.7056

6 And the children1121 of Israel3478 did6213 evil7451 again3254 in the sight5869 of the LORD,3068 and served5647 853 Baalim,1168 and Ashtaroth,6252 and the gods430 of Syria,758 and the gods430 of Zidon,6721 and the gods430 of Moab,4124 and the gods430 of the children1121 of Ammon,5983 and the gods430 of the Philistines,6430 and forsook5800 853 the LORD,3068 and served5647 not3808 him.

7 And the anger639 of the LORD3068 was hot2734 against Israel,3478 and he sold4376 them into the hands3027 of the Philistines,6430 and into the hands3027 of the children1121 of Ammon.5983

8 And that1931 year8141 they vexed7492 and oppressed7533 853 the children1121 of Israel:3478 eighteen8083 6240 years,8141 853 all3605 the children1121 of Israel3478 that834 were on the other side5676 Jordan3383 in the land776 of the Amorites,567 which834 is in Gilead.1568

9 Moreover the children1121 of Ammon5983 passed over5674 853 Jordan3383 to fight3898 also1571 against Judah,3063 and against Benjamin,1144 and against the house1004 of Ephraim;669 so that Israel3478 was sore3966 distressed.3334

10 And the children1121 of Israel3478 cried2199 unto413 the LORD,3068 saying,559 We have sinned2398 against thee, both because3588 we have forsaken5800 853 our God,430 and also served5647 853 Baalim.1168

11 And the LORD3068 said559 unto3413 the children1121 of Israel,3478 Did not3808 I deliver you from the Egyptians,4480 4714 and from4480 the Amorites,567 from4480 the children1121 of Ammon,5983 and from4480 the Philistines?6430

12 The Zidonians6722 also, and the Amalekites,6002 and the Maonites,4584 did oppress3905 you; and ye cried6817 to413 me, and I delivered3467 you out of their hand.4480 3027

13 Yet ye859 have forsaken5800 me, and served5647 other312 gods:430 wherefore3651 I will deliver3467 you no3808 more.3254

14 Go1980 and cry2199 unto413 the gods430 which834 ye have chosen;977 let them1992 deliver3467 you in the time6256 of your tribulation.6869

15 And the children1121 of Israel3478 said559 unto413 the LORD,3068 We have sinned:2398 do6213 thou859 unto us whatsoever3605 seemeth good2896 unto5869 thee; deliver5337 us only,389 we pray thee,4994 this2088 day.3117

16 And they put away5493 853 the strange5236 gods430 from among4480 7130 them, and served5647 853 the LORD:3068 and his soul5315 was grieved7114 for the misery5999 of Israel.3478

17 Then the children1121 of Ammon5983 were gathered together,6817 and encamped2583 in Gilead.1568 And the children1121 of Israel3478 assembled themselves together,622 and encamped2583 in Mizpeh.4709

18 And the people5971 and princes8269 of Gilead1568 said559 one376 to413 another,7453 What4310 man376 is he that834 will begin2490 to fight3898 against the children1121 of Ammon?5983 he shall be1961 head7218 over all3605 the inhabitants3427 of Gilead.1568

7 Тогда разгневался Господь на народ Израиля и позволил филистимлянам и аммонитянам одолеть их.

7 And the anger639 of the LORD3068 was hot2734 against Israel,3478 and he sold4376 them into the hands3027 of the Philistines,6430 and into the hands3027 of the children1121 of Ammon.5983

8 В тот же год они разбили народ Израиля и восемнадцать лет угнетали израильтян, которые жили на восточном берегу реки Иордан в Галааде, на Аморрейской земле.

11 Господь сказал народу Израиля: «Вы молили меня о помощи, когда вас угнетали египтяне, аморреи, аммонитяне и филистимляне. Я спас вас от этих людей.

11 And the LORD3068 said559 unto3413 the children1121 of Israel,3478 Did not3808 I deliver you from the Egyptians,4480 4714 and from4480 the Amorites,567 from4480 the children1121 of Ammon,5983 and from4480 the Philistines?6430

12 Вы молили Меня о помощи, когда вас угнетали сидоняне, амаликитяне и мадиамитяне, и Я снова спас вас.

12 The Zidonians6722 also, and the Amalekites,6002 and the Maonites,4584 did oppress3905 you; and ye cried6817 to413 me, and I delivered3467 you out of their hand.4480 3027

13 Но вы оставили Меня и стали служить другим богам. Я не буду вас больше спасать.

13 Yet ye859 have forsaken5800 me, and served5647 other312 gods:430 wherefore3651 I will deliver3467 you no3808 more.3254

14 Идите и просите помощи у тех богов, которых вы себе выбрали. Пусть они спасают вас в тяжёлое для вас время».

14 Go1980 and cry2199 unto413 the gods430 which834 ye have chosen;977 let them1992 deliver3467 you in the time6256 of your tribulation.6869

15 Но народ Израиля сказал Господу: «Мы согрешили. Делай с нами всё, что Тебе угодно, только спаси нас сейчас».

16 Тогда народ Израиля отверг чужих богов и снова стал служить Господу. И, видя, как они страдают, Господь пожалел их.

16 And they put away5493 853 the strange5236 gods430 from among4480 7130 them, and served5647 853 the LORD:3068 and his soul5315 was grieved7114 for the misery5999 of Israel.3478

17 Аммонитяне собрались воевать и разбили свой лагерь на Галаадской земле. Сыновья Израиля тоже собрались и расположились в городе Мицфа.

17 Then the children1121 of Ammon5983 were gathered together,6817 and encamped2583 in Gilead.1568 And the children1121 of Israel3478 assembled themselves together,622 and encamped2583 in Mizpeh.4709
