Глава 11

1 Господь сказал Моисею и Аарону:

2 «Скажите народу Израиля: вот животные, мясо которых вам можно употреблять в пищу.

3 Если копыта у животного раздвоены и если оно жуёт жвачку, то мясо такого животного вы можете есть.

4 Некоторые животные жуют жвачку, но копыта у них не раздвоены. Этих животных не ешьте. Верблюды, тушканчики и зайцы жуют жвачку, но копыта у них не раздвоены, и поэтому они для вас нечисты.

7 У других животных копыта раздвоены, но они не жуют жвачку. Не ешьте таких животных. Свиньи для вас — еда нечистая.

8 Не ешьте мяса этих животных! И даже не прикасайтесь к их трупам! Они нечисты для вас!

9 Если животное живёт в море или в реке и у него есть плавники и чешуя, тогда можете его есть.

10 Но, если животное живёт в море или в реке и не имеет ни плавников, ни чешуи, такое животное есть нельзя. Это одно из тех животных, которых Господь не велит есть. Не ешьте мяса этих животных, и даже к их трупам не прикасайтесь!

12 Все животные, живущие в воде, у которых нет ни плавников, ни чешуи, не годятся в пищу, и Господь не велит их есть.

13 Из птиц не ешьте: орлов, грифов, канюков,

14 коршунов, все виды соколов,

15 всякого рода воронов,

16 страусов, сов, чаек, все виды ястребов,

17 филинов, бакланов, ибисов,

18 пеликанов, сипов, стервятников,

19 аистов, все виды цапель, удодов и летучих мышей.

20 Если насекомые с крыльями и передвигаются на четырёх ногах, Господь запрещает их есть. Не ешьте этих насекомых!

21 Но бывают и крылатые насекомые, передвигающиеся на четырёх ногах, которых можно есть: они имеют суставные соединения на ногах, чтобы прыгать по земле.

22 Вы также можете есть все виды саранчи, все виды крылатой саранчи и все виды сверчков и кузнечиков.

23 Но Господь запрещает есть всех других насекомых, которые с крыльями и с четырьмя ногами.

24 Эти насекомые сделают вас нечистыми, и каждый, кто прикоснётся к их трупам, будет нечист до вечера.

25 Если же человек поднял одного из тех мёртвых насекомых, он должен выстирать свою одежду. Этот человек будет нечист до вечера.

26 У некоторых животных копыта раздвоены, но нет глубокого разреза между двумя их частями. Некоторые животные не жуют жвачку; некоторые не имеют копыт, а передвигаются на лапах. Все эти животные нечисты для вас. Всякий, кто прикоснётся к ним, станет нечистым и будет нечист до вечера.

28 Если человек поднимет их труп, он должен выстирать свою одежду. Этот человек будет нечист до вечера. Все эти животные нечисты для вас.

29 Из пресмыкающихся животных для вас нечисты кроты, мыши, ящеры всех видов,

30 гекконы, крокодилы, ящерицы, пресмыкающиеся и хамелеоны.

31 Эти пресмыкающиеся животные нечисты для вас. Каждый, кто прикоснётся к их трупам, будет нечист до вечера.

32 И если какое из этих нечистых животных умрёт и упадёт на что-нибудь, эта вещь станет нечистой. Это может быть предмет, сделанный из дерева, материи или кожи, траурная одежда или рабочий инструмент. Что бы это ни было, этот предмет необходимо обмыть водой; он будет нечист до вечера, а потом снова станет чистым.

33 Если же какое из мёртвых нечистых животных упадёт в глиняный сосуд, то всё в нём станет нечистым. Вы должны разбить такой сосуд.

34 Если вода из этого сосуда попадёт на пищу, эта пища станет нечистой, и всякий напиток в нечистом сосуде будет нечист.

35 Если же какая-нибудь часть мёртвого нечистого животного упадёт на что-либо, то этот предмет станет нечистым. Это может быть глинобитная печь или глиняная сковорода. Их следует разбить на куски, так как эти предметы для вас нечисты.

36 Только источник или колодец с водой останутся чистыми. А тот, кто прикоснётся к мёртвому нечистому животному, находящемуся в воде, станет нечист.

37 Если же что-нибудь от мёртвых нечистых животных упадёт на семя, которое собираются посеять, эти семена останутся чистыми.

38 Но если вы польёте воду на семена, а потом на них упадёт что-нибудь от мёртвых нечистых животных, то эти семена для вас нечисты.

39 Если умрёт животное, которое вы употребляете в пищу, и кто-нибудь прикоснётся к его трупу, то этот человек будет нечист до вечера.

40 Человек, который станет есть мясо умершего животного, должен выстирать свою одежду, и этот человек будет нечист до вечера. Человек, который поднял труп этого животного, должен выстирать свою одежду, и он будет нечист до вечера.

41 Господь не велит есть животных, которые ползают по земле.

42 Вы не должны есть никаких пресмыкающихся, ползающих или передвигающихся на всех четырёх ногах, или животных, у которых много ног. Этих животных есть нельзя!

43 Не давайте таким животным осквернять вас. Вы не должны становиться нечистыми!

44 Потому что Я — Господь, Бог ваш! Я свят, и вы должны быть святы! Не давайте этим ползающим тварям осквернять вас!

45 Я вывел вас из Египта для того, чтобы вы были Моим избранным народом, а Я — вашим Богом. Будьте святы, потому что Я свят!»

46 Таковы правила о домашнем скоте, птице, всех живых тварях, живущих в воде, и всех животных, ползающих по земле.

47 Вы должны уметь отличать нечистых животных от чистых, с тем, чтобы люди знали, каких животных они могут употреблять в пищу, а каких животных им нельзя есть.

2 Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, These are the beasts which you shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth:

3 Whatever parts the hoof and is cloven-footed and chews the cud among the beasts, that you may eat.

4 Nevertheless these you shall not eat of: those that chew the cud, or those that divide the hoof, as the camel, because it chews the cud but does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you.

5 And the coney, because it chews the cud but does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you.

6 And the hare, because it chews the cud but it does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you.

7 And the swine, though it divide the hoof and is cloven-footed, yet it does not chew the cud; it is unclean to you.

8 Of their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcass you shall not touch; they are unclean to you.

9 These shall you eat of all that are in the waters; whatever has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, you shall eat.

10 But all that have not fins and scales in the seas and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing that is in the waters, they are unclean to you;

11 You shall not eat of their flesh, and their carcasses you shall declare unclean.

12 Whatever has no fins nor scales in the waters is unclean to you.

13 And these you shall abhor among the birds; they shall not be eaten, because they are unclean: the eagle and the vulture

14 And the raven after its kind;

15 And the ostrich and the night hawk after its kind;

16 And the little owl and the pelican, the great owl, the cuckoo, and the hawk after its kind;

17 And the stork, the bee eater,

18 And the swan and the hoopoe after their kind,

19 And the heron and the peacock.

20 All species that creep, going upon all fours, are unclean to you.

21 Yet these things you may eat of every flying insect that goes upon all fours, which have legs above their feet with which to leap on the earth;

22 Of these you may eat: the locust after its kind and the large winged locust after its kind,

23 But all other flying insects which have four feet are unclean to you.

24 And by these you shall be unclean; whosoever touches their carcasses shall be unclean until the evening.

25 And whosoever carries of their carcasses shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening.

26 The carcasses of every beast which divides the hoof and is not cloven-footed, nor chews the cud, are unclean to you; every one who touches them shall be unclean until the evening.

27 And whatever goes upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all fours, are unclean to you; whosoever touches their carcasses shall be unclean until the evening.

28 And he who carries their carcasses shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening, because they are unclean to you.

29 These also are unclean to you among all the creeping things that creep upon the earth: the weasel, and the mouse, the lizard after its kind,

30 And the ferret, and the mole, the yellow lizard, and the chameleon, and the snail.

31 These are unclean to you among all that creep; whosoever touches them, when they are dead, shall be unclean until the evening.

32 And upon whatever thing any of them falls when they are dead, that thing shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood or a garment or a skin or a sack or whatever vessel it be wherein any work is done, it must be put into water and it shall be unclean until the evening; so it shall be cleansed.

33 And every earthen vessel into which any of them falls, whatever is in it shall be unclean; and you shall break it.

34 Of all food which may be eaten, that on which such water falls shall be unclean; and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.

35 And everything upon which any part of their carcasses falls shall be unclean; whether it be oven or bake-house, they shall be broken down: for they are unclean, and shall be unclean to you.

36 Nevertheless a fountain or a cistern and the pools of water shall be clean; but whosoever touches their carcasses shall be unclean.

37 And if any part of their carcasses falls upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.

38 But if any water be put upon the seed and any part of their carcasses falls on it, it shall be unclean to you.

39 And if any animal of which you may eat dies, he who touches the carcass thereof shall be unclean until the evening.

40 And he who eats of its carcass shall wash his clothes and shall be unclean until the evening; he also that carries the carcass of it shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening.

41 And every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth is unclean to you; it shall not be eaten.

42 Whatever goes upon its belly and whatever goes upon all fours or whatever has many feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, you shall not eat of them; for they are unclean.

43 You shall not make yourselves unclean with any creeping thing that creeps upon the earth, lest you become unclean with them; defile not yourselves with them.

44 For I am the LORD your God; you shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy; neither shall you defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.

45 For I am the LORD your God who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to be your God; you shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

46 This is the law of beast and of fowl and of every living creature that moves in the water and of every creature that creeps upon the earth;

47 To make a distinction between the unclean and the clean and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.

3 Whatever parts the hoof and is cloven-footed and chews the cud among the beasts, that you may eat.

4 Некоторые животные жуют жвачку, но копыта у них не раздвоены. Этих животных не ешьте. Верблюды, тушканчики и зайцы жуют жвачку, но копыта у них не раздвоены, и поэтому они для вас нечисты.

4 Nevertheless these you shall not eat of: those that chew the cud, or those that divide the hoof, as the camel, because it chews the cud but does not divide the hoof; it is unclean to you.

7 And the swine, though it divide the hoof and is cloven-footed, yet it does not chew the cud; it is unclean to you.

8 Не ешьте мяса этих животных! И даже не прикасайтесь к их трупам! Они нечисты для вас!

8 Of their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcass you shall not touch; they are unclean to you.

9 Если животное живёт в море или в реке и у него есть плавники и чешуя, тогда можете его есть.

9 These shall you eat of all that are in the waters; whatever has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, you shall eat.

10 Но, если животное живёт в море или в реке и не имеет ни плавников, ни чешуи, такое животное есть нельзя. Это одно из тех животных, которых Господь не велит есть. Не ешьте мяса этих животных, и даже к их трупам не прикасайтесь!

10 But all that have not fins and scales in the seas and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing that is in the waters, they are unclean to you;

11 You shall not eat of their flesh, and their carcasses you shall declare unclean.

12 Все животные, живущие в воде, у которых нет ни плавников, ни чешуи, не годятся в пищу, и Господь не велит их есть.

12 Whatever has no fins nor scales in the waters is unclean to you.

21 Yet these things you may eat of every flying insect that goes upon all fours, which have legs above their feet with which to leap on the earth;

24 And by these you shall be unclean; whosoever touches their carcasses shall be unclean until the evening.

25 Если же человек поднял одного из тех мёртвых насекомых, он должен выстирать свою одежду. Этот человек будет нечист до вечера.

25 And whosoever carries of their carcasses shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening.

26 У некоторых животных копыта раздвоены, но нет глубокого разреза между двумя их частями. Некоторые животные не жуют жвачку; некоторые не имеют копыт, а передвигаются на лапах. Все эти животные нечисты для вас. Всякий, кто прикоснётся к ним, станет нечистым и будет нечист до вечера.

26 The carcasses of every beast which divides the hoof and is not cloven-footed, nor chews the cud, are unclean to you; every one who touches them shall be unclean until the evening.

27 And whatever goes upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all fours, are unclean to you; whosoever touches their carcasses shall be unclean until the evening.

28 Если человек поднимет их труп, он должен выстирать свою одежду. Этот человек будет нечист до вечера. Все эти животные нечисты для вас.

28 And he who carries their carcasses shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening, because they are unclean to you.

29 Из пресмыкающихся животных для вас нечисты кроты, мыши, ящеры всех видов,

29 These also are unclean to you among all the creeping things that creep upon the earth: the weasel, and the mouse, the lizard after its kind,

32 And upon whatever thing any of them falls when they are dead, that thing shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood or a garment or a skin or a sack or whatever vessel it be wherein any work is done, it must be put into water and it shall be unclean until the evening; so it shall be cleansed.

33 Если же какое из мёртвых нечистых животных упадёт в глиняный сосуд, то всё в нём станет нечистым. Вы должны разбить такой сосуд.

33 And every earthen vessel into which any of them falls, whatever is in it shall be unclean; and you shall break it.

34 Если вода из этого сосуда попадёт на пищу, эта пища станет нечистой, и всякий напиток в нечистом сосуде будет нечист.

34 Of all food which may be eaten, that on which such water falls shall be unclean; and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.

39 And if any animal of which you may eat dies, he who touches the carcass thereof shall be unclean until the evening.

40 Человек, который станет есть мясо умершего животного, должен выстирать свою одежду, и этот человек будет нечист до вечера. Человек, который поднял труп этого животного, должен выстирать свою одежду, и он будет нечист до вечера.

40 And he who eats of its carcass shall wash his clothes and shall be unclean until the evening; he also that carries the carcass of it shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening.

41 Господь не велит есть животных, которые ползают по земле.

41 And every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth is unclean to you; it shall not be eaten.

42 Вы не должны есть никаких пресмыкающихся, ползающих или передвигающихся на всех четырёх ногах, или животных, у которых много ног. Этих животных есть нельзя!

42 Whatever goes upon its belly and whatever goes upon all fours or whatever has many feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, you shall not eat of them; for they are unclean.

43 Не давайте таким животным осквернять вас. Вы не должны становиться нечистыми!

43 You shall not make yourselves unclean with any creeping thing that creeps upon the earth, lest you become unclean with them; defile not yourselves with them.

44 Потому что Я — Господь, Бог ваш! Я свят, и вы должны быть святы! Не давайте этим ползающим тварям осквернять вас!

44 For I am the LORD your God; you shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy; neither shall you defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.

45 Я вывел вас из Египта для того, чтобы вы были Моим избранным народом, а Я — вашим Богом. Будьте святы, потому что Я свят!»

45 For I am the LORD your God who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to be your God; you shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

46 Таковы правила о домашнем скоте, птице, всех живых тварях, живущих в воде, и всех животных, ползающих по земле.

46 This is the law of beast and of fowl and of every living creature that moves in the water and of every creature that creeps upon the earth;

47 Вы должны уметь отличать нечистых животных от чистых, с тем, чтобы люди знали, каких животных они могут употреблять в пищу, а каких животных им нельзя есть.

47 To make a distinction between the unclean and the clean and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.
