Книга пророка Аггея

Глава 1

1 Во второй год царствования персидского царя Дария, в первый день шестого месяца, пророк Аггей услышал слово Господа. Это слово было к Зоровавелю, сыну Салафииля, и к Иисусу, сыну Иоседека. Зоровавель был правителем Иудеи, а Иисус был первосвященником. Вот что Господь Всемогущий сказал:

2 «Народ говорит, что ещё не время строить храм Господа».

3 И тогда Господь снова обратился через пророка Аггея с такими словами:

4 «Вы думаете, что можете жить в хороших домах с красиво отделанными стенами, в то время, когда дом Господа всё ещё лежит в руинах!»

5 И теперь Господь Всемогущий говорит: «Подумайте о том, что происходит!

6 Вы много посеяли, а урожай собрали маленький; у вас есть пища, но вы едите не досыта; пьёте вы, но не напиваетесь; есть у вас одежда, но вы не можете в ней согреться; вы зарабатываете деньги, но не знаете, куда всё уходит, как будто в кармане дыра!»

7 Господь Всемогущий говорит: «Подумайте о том, что делаете!

8 Идите в горы и принесите оттуда брёвна для строительства храма. Вот тогда Я буду доволен и прославлен». Так сказал Господь:

9 «Вы ожидаете богатый урожай, но когда собираете его, то оказывается, что зерна очень мало. Вы приносите его домой, а Я посылаю ветер, который развеивает всё зерно! Почему же так происходит? Потому что Мой дом всё ещё в запустении, тогда как каждый из вас спешит позаботиться о своём доме!

10 Вот почему небо закрылось и не посылает вам росы, а земля не даёт урожая.

11 Я призвал засуху на землю и горы. Зерно, молодое вино, оливковое масло и всё, что родит земля, будет уничтожено! И все люди, и весь скот ослабеют».

12 Господь Бог послал Аггея поговорить с Зоровавелем, сыном Салафииля, и с первосвященником Иисусом, сыном Иоседека. Тогда они и весь народ послушали Господа Бога и слова пророка Аггея. Народ показал своё благоговение перед Господом и почтение к Нему.

13 Аггей, вестник Господа, передал Его слова народу: «Господь говорит: „Я с вами!”»

14 В то время, когда Зоровавель, сын Салафииля, был правителем Иудеи, а Иисус, сын Иоседека, был первосвященником, Господь вдохновил их, а также весь народ на строительство храма Господу Всемогущему. Они начали работу по строительству храма

15 в двадцать четвёртый день шестого месяца, на второй год царствования Дария, царя Персии.

Haggai

Chapter 1

1 IN the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, on the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet to Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua, the son of Josedech, the high priest, saying,

2 Thus says the LORD of hosts: This people say the time has not yet come to build the house of the LORD.

3 Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,

4 Is it a time for you to dwell in your ceiled houses, and this house lie waste?

5 Now therefore thus says the LORD of hosts: Consider your ways.

6 You have sown much and stored little: you eat, but you never are satisfied; you drink, but you are not filled with drink; you clothe yourselves, but you are not warm; and he who trades among you, earns wages to put it into a bag with holes.

7 Thus says the LORD of hosts: Consider your ways.

8 Go up to the mountain, and bring timber and build this house; and I will take pleasure in it and I will be glorified in it, says the LORD.

9 You looked for much, and, 1o, it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why should these things happen? says the LORD. Because of my house that is waste, and you hasten every man to take care of his own house.

10 Therefore the heavens over you have stayed from dew and the earth has withheld its fruit.

11 And I have called for a drought upon the land and upon the mountains, and upon the grain and upon the wine and upon the oil and upon everything that the ground brings forth, and upon men and upon cattle and upon all the labor of their hands.

12 Then Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua, the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God and the words of Haggai the prophet, whom the LORD their God had sent to them, and the people did fear before the LORD.

13 Then spoke Haggai the LORD'S messenger according to the LORD'S message to the people, saying, I am with you, says the LORD of hosts.

14 And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua, the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they went and did work upon the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,

15 On the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month in the second year of Darius the king.

1 Во второй год царствования персидского царя Дария, в первый день шестого месяца, пророк Аггей услышал слово Господа. Это слово было к Зоровавелю, сыну Салафииля, и к Иисусу, сыну Иоседека. Зоровавель был правителем Иудеи, а Иисус был первосвященником. Вот что Господь Всемогущий сказал:

2 «Народ говорит, что ещё не время строить храм Господа».

2 Thus says the LORD of hosts: This people say the time has not yet come to build the house of the LORD.

3 И тогда Господь снова обратился через пророка Аггея с такими словами:

3 Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,

4 «Вы думаете, что можете жить в хороших домах с красиво отделанными стенами, в то время, когда дом Господа всё ещё лежит в руинах!»

5 И теперь Господь Всемогущий говорит: «Подумайте о том, что происходит!

8 Go up to the mountain, and bring timber and build this house; and I will take pleasure in it and I will be glorified in it, says the LORD.

9 You looked for much, and, 1o, it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why should these things happen? says the LORD. Because of my house that is waste, and you hasten every man to take care of his own house.

10 Вот почему небо закрылось и не посылает вам росы, а земля не даёт урожая.

12 Then Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua, the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God and the words of Haggai the prophet, whom the LORD their God had sent to them, and the people did fear before the LORD.

13 Аггей, вестник Господа, передал Его слова народу: «Господь говорит: „Я с вами!”»

13 Then spoke Haggai the LORD'S messenger according to the LORD'S message to the people, saying, I am with you, says the LORD of hosts.

14 В то время, когда Зоровавель, сын Салафииля, был правителем Иудеи, а Иисус, сын Иоседека, был первосвященником, Господь вдохновил их, а также весь народ на строительство храма Господу Всемогущему. Они начали работу по строительству храма

14 And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua, the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they went and did work upon the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,

15 в двадцать четвёртый день шестого месяца, на второй год царствования Дария, царя Персии.

15 On the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month in the second year of Darius the king.
