1 Now the Philistines6430 gathered622 together their armies4264 to battle,4421 and were gathered622 together at Shochoh,7755 which834 belongs to Judah,3063 and pitched2583 between996 Shochoh7755 and Azekah,5825 in Ephesdammim.658

2 А Саул7586 и Израильтяне3763478 собрались622 и расположились2583 станом2583 в долине6010 дуба425 и приготовились6186 к войне4421 против7125 Филистимлян.6430

2 And Saul7586 and the men376 of Israel3478 were gathered622 together,3162 and pitched2583 by the valley6010 of Elah,425 and set the battle4421 in array6186 against7125 the Philistines.6430

|
3 И стали5975 Филистимляне6430 на горе2022 с одной стороны, и Израильтяне3478 на горе2022 с другой стороны, а между ними была долина.1516

3 And the Philistines6430 stood5975 on413 a mountain2022 on413 the one2088 side, and Israel3478 stood5975 on413 a mountain2022 on413 the other2088 side: and there was a valley1516 between996 them.

4 И выступил3318 из стана4264 Филистимского6430 единоборец,3761143 по имени8034 Голиаф,1555 из Гефа;1661 ростом1363 он — шести8337 локтей520 и пяди.2239

4 And there went3318 out a champion376 1143 out of the camp4264 of the Philistines,6430 named8034 Goliath,1555 of Gath,1661 whose height1363 was six8337 cubits520 and a span.2239

5 Медный5178 шлем3553 на голове7218 его; и одет3847 он был в чешуйчатую7193 броню,8302 и вес4948 брони8302 его — пять2568 тысяч505 сиклей8255 меди;5178
|
5 And he had an helmet3553 of brass5178 on his head,7218 and he was armed3847 with a coat8302 of mail;7193 and the weight4948 of the coat8302 was five2568 thousand505 shekels8255 of brass.5178
|
|
6 медные5178 наколенники4697 на ногах7272 его, и медный5178 щит3591 за плечами3802 его;
|
6 And he had greaves4697 of brass5178 on his legs,7272 and a target3591 of brass5178 between996 his shoulders.3802
|
|
7 и древко60862671 копья2595 его, как навой4500 у ткачей;707 а самое3852 копье2595 его в шестьсот83373967 сиклей8255 железа,1270 и пред3942 ним шел1980 оруженосец.53756793

7 And the staff2671 of his spear2595 was like a weaver's707 beam;4500 and his spear's2595 head3852 weighed six8337 hundred3967 shekels8255 of iron:1270 and one bearing5375 a shield6793 went1980 before6440 him.

8 И стал5975 он и кричал7121 к полкам4634 Израильским,3478 говоря559 им: зачем вышли3318 вы воевать?61864421 Не Филистимлянин6430 ли я, а вы рабы5650 Сауловы?7586 Выберите1262 у себя человека,376 и пусть сойдет3381 ко мне;

8 And he stood5975 and cried7121 to the armies4634 of Israel,3478 and said559 to them, Why4100 are you come3318 out to set your battle4421 in array?6186 am not I a Philistine,6430 and you servants5650 to Saul?7586 choose1262 you a man376 for you, and let him come3381 down3381 to me.

9 если он может3201 сразиться3898 со мною и убьет5221 меня, то мы будем вашими рабами;5650 если же я одолею3201 его и убью5221 его, то вы будете нашими рабами5650 и будете5647 служить5647 нам.

9 If518 he be able3201 to fight3898 with me, and to kill5221 me, then will we be your servants:5650 but if518 I prevail3201 against him, and kill5221 him, then shall you be our servants,5650 and serve5647 us.

10 И сказал559 Филистимлянин:6430 сегодня3117 я посрамлю2778 полки4634 Израильские;3478 дайте5414 мне человека,376 и мы сразимся3898 вдвоем.3162
|
10 And the Philistine6430 said,559 I defy2778 the armies4634 of Israel3478 this2088 day;3117 give5414 me a man,376 that we may fight3898 together.3162
|
|
11 И услышали8085 Саул7586 и все Израильтяне3478 эти слова1697 Филистимлянина,6430 и очень3966 испугались2865 и ужаснулись.3372
|
11 When Saul7586 and all3605 Israel3478 heard8085 those428 words1697 of the Philistine,6430 they were dismayed,2865 and greatly3966 afraid.3372
|
|
12 Давид1732 же был сын1121 Ефрафянина376673 из Вифлеема1035 Иудина,3063 по имени8034 Иессея,3448 у которого было восемь8083 сыновей.1121 Этот человек376 во дни3117 Саула7586 достиг2204 старости2204 и был935 старший между мужами.582

12 Now David1732 was the son1121 of that Ephrathite673 of Bethlehemjudah,1035 whose name8034 was Jesse;3448 and he had eight8083 sons:1121 and the man376 went935 among men582 for an old2204 man in the days3117 of Saul.7586

|

14 And David1732 was the youngest:3996 and the three7969 oldest1419 followed1980 310 Saul.7586
|
|
15 а Давид1732 возвратился7725 от Саула,7586 чтобы пасти7462 овец6629 отца1 своего в Вифлееме.1035
|
15 But David1732 went1980 and returned7725 from Saul7586 to feed7462 his father's1 sheep6629 at Bethlehem.1035
|
|
16 И выступал5066 Филистимлянин6430 тот утром7925 и вечером6150 и выставлял3320 себя сорок705 дней.3117
|
16 And the Philistine6430 drew near5066 morning7925 and evening,6150 and presented3320 himself forty705 days.3117
|
|
17 И сказал559 Иессей3448 Давиду,1732 сыну1121 своему: возьми3947 для братьев251 своих ефу374 сушеных7039 зерен7039 и десять6235 этих хлебов3899 и отнеси7323 поскорее7323 в стан4264 к твоим братьям;251
|
17 And Jesse3448 said559 to David1732 his son,1121 Take3947 now4994 for your brothers251 an ephah374 of this2088 parched7039 corn, and these2088 ten6235 loaves,3899 and run7323 to the camp4264 of your brothers;251
|
|
18 а эти десять6235 сыров24612757 отнеси935 тысяченачальнику8269505 и наведайся6485 о здоровье7965 братьев251 и узнай3947 о нуждах6161 их.
|
18 And carry935 these428 ten6235 cheeses2757 2461 to the captain8269 of their thousand,505 and look6485 how your brothers251 fare,7965 and take3947 their pledge.6161
|
|
19 Саул7586 и они и все Израильтяне3763478 находились в долине6010 дуба425 и готовились к сражению3898 с Филистимлянами.6430
|
19 Now Saul,7586 and they, and all3605 the men376 of Israel,3478 were in the valley6010 of Elah,425 fighting3898 with the Philistines.6430
|
|
20 И встал7925 Давид1732 рано7925 утром,1242 и поручил5203 овец6629 сторожу,8104 и, взяв5375 ношу, пошел,3212 как приказал6680 ему Иессей,3448 и пришел935 к обозу,4570 когда войско2428 выведено3318 было в строй4634 и с криком7321 готовилось к сражению.4421

20 And David1732 rose7925 up early7925 in the morning,1242 and left5203 the sheep6629 with a keeper,8104 and took,5375 and went,3212 as Jesse3448 had commanded6680 him; and he came935 to the trench,4570 as the host2428 was going3318 forth3318 to the fight,4634 and shouted7321 for the battle.4421

21 И расположили6186 Израильтяне3478 и Филистимляне6430 строй4634 против7125 строя.4634
|
21 For Israel3478 and the Philistines6430 had put the battle in array,6186 army4634 against7125 army.4634
|
|
22 Давид1732 оставил5203 свою ношу3627 обозному8104 сторожу3627 и побежал7323 в ряды4634 и, придя,935 спросил7592 братьев251 своих о здоровье.7965
|
22 And David1732 left5203 his carriage3627 in the hand3027 of the keeper8104 of the carriage,3627 and ran7323 into the army,4634 and came935 and saluted7592 7965 his brothers.251
|
|
23 И вот, когда он разговаривал1696 с ними, единоборец,1143 по имени8034 Голиаф,1555 Филистимлянин6430 из Гефа,1661 выступает5927 из рядов46344630 Филистимских6430 и говорит1696 те428 слова,1697 и Давид1732 услышал8085 их.

23 And as he talked1696 with them, behold,2009 there came5927 up the champion,376 1143 the Philistine6430 of Gath,1661 Goliath1555 by name,8034 out of the armies4630 of the Philistines,6430 and spoke1696 according to the same428 words:1697 and David1732 heard8085 them.

|
24 И все Израильтяне,3763478 увидев7200 этого человека,376 убегали5127 от него и весьма3966 боялись.3372
|
24 And all3605 the men376 of Israel,3478 when they saw7200 the man,376 fled5127 from him, and were sore3966 afraid.3372
|
|
25 И говорили559 Израильтяне:3763478 видите7200 этого выступающего5927 человека?376 Он выступает,5927 чтобы поносить2778 Израиля.3478 Если бы кто376 убил5221 его, одарил6238 бы того царь4428 великим1419 богатством,6239 и дочь1323 свою выдал5414 бы за него, и дом1004 отца1 его сделал6213 бы свободным2670 в Израиле.3478

25 And the men376 of Israel3478 said,559 Have you seen7200 this2088 man376 that is come5927 up? surely3588 to defy2778 Israel3478 is he come5927 up: and it shall be, that the man376 who834 kills5221 him, the king4428 will enrich6238 him with great1419 riches,6239 and will give5414 him his daughter,1323 and make6213 his father's1 house1004 free2670 in Israel.3478

26 И сказал559 Давид1732 людям,582 стоящим5975 с ним: что сделают6213 тому, кто убьет5221 этого1975 Филистимлянина6430 и снимет5493 поношение2781 с Израиля?3478 ибо кто этот необрезанный6189 Филистимлянин,6430 что так поносит2778 воинство4634 Бога430 живого?2416

26 And David1732 spoke559 to the men582 that stood5975 by him, saying,559 What4100 shall be done6213 to the man376 that kills5221 this1975 Philistine,6430 and takes5493 away the reproach2781 from Israel?3478 for who4310 is this2088 uncircumcised6189 Philistine,6430 that he should defy2778 the armies4634 of the living2416 God?430

27 И сказал559 ему народ5971 те же слова,1697 говоря:559 вот что сделано6213 будет6213 тому человеку,376 который убьет5221 его.
|
27 And the people5971 answered559 him after this2088 manner,1697 saying,559 So3541 shall it be done6213 to the man376 that kills5221 him.
|
|
28 И услышал8085 Елиав,446 старший1419 брат251 Давида, что говорил1696 он с людьми,582 и рассердился6392734 Елиав446 на Давида1732 и сказал:559 зачем ты сюда пришел3381 и на кого оставил5203 немногих4592 овец6629 тех2007 в пустыне?4057 Я знаю3045 высокомерие2087 твое и дурное7455 сердце3824 твое, ты пришел3381 посмотреть7200 на сражение.4421

28 And Eliab446 his oldest1419 brother251 heard8085 when he spoke1696 to the men;582 and Eliab's446 anger639 was kindled2734 against David,1732 and he said,559 Why4100 came3381 you down3381 here? and with whom4310 have you left5203 those2007 few4592 sheep6629 in the wilderness?4057 I know3045 your pride,2087 and the naughtiness7455 of your heart;3824 for you are come3381 down3381 that you might see7200 the battle.4421

29 И сказал559 Давид:1732 что же я сделал?6213 не слова1697 ли это?
|
29 And David1732 said,559 What4100 have I now6258 done?6213 Is there not a cause?1697
|
|
30 И отворотился5437 от него681 к4136 другому312 и говорил559 те же слова,1697 и отвечал77251697 ему народ5971 по-прежнему.72231697
|
30 And he turned5437 from him toward413 4136 another,312 and spoke559 after the same2088 manner:1697 and the people5971 answered7725 1697 him again7725 after the former7223 manner.1697
|
|
31 И услышали8085 слова,1697 которые говорил1696 Давид,1732 и пересказали5046 Саулу,7586 и тот призвал3947 его.
|
31 And when the words1697 were heard8085 which834 David1732 spoke,1696 they rehearsed5046 them before6440 Saul:7586 and he sent3947 for him.
|
|
32 И сказал559 Давид1732 Саулу:7586 пусть никто не падает5307 духом3820 из-за него; раб5650 твой пойдет3212 и сразится3898 с этим Филистимлянином.6430
|
32 And David1732 said559 to Saul,7586 Let no408 man's120 heart3820 fail5307 because5921 of him; your servant5650 will go3212 and fight3898 with this2088 Philistine.6430
|
|
33 И сказал559 Саул7586 Давиду:1732 не можешь3201 ты идти3212 против этого Филистимлянина,6430 чтобы сразиться3898 с ним, ибо ты еще юноша,5288 а он воин3764421 от юности5271 своей.
|
33 And Saul7586 said559 to David,1732 You are not able3201 to go3212 against413 this2088 Philistine6430 to fight3898 with him: for you are but a youth,5288 and he a man376 of war4421 from his youth.5271
|
|
34 И сказал559 Давид1732 Саулу:7586 раб5650 твой пас7462 овец6629 у отца1 своего, и когда, бывало, приходил935 лев738 или медведь1677 и уносил5375 овцу77162089 из стада,5739
|
34 And David1732 said559 to Saul,7586 Your servant5650 kept7462 his father's1 sheep,6629 and there came935 a lion,738 and a bear,1677 and took5375 a lamb7716 out of the flock:5739
|
|
35 то я гнался3318 за310 ним и нападал5221 на него и отнимал5337 из пасти6310 его; а если он бросался6965 на меня, то я брал2388 его за космы2206 и поражал5221 его и умерщвлял4191 его;
|
35 And I went3318 out after310 him, and smote5221 him, and delivered5337 it out of his mouth:6310 and when he arose6965 against5921 me, I caught2388 him by his beard,2206 and smote5221 him, and slew4191 him.
|
|
36 и льва738 и медведя1677 убивал5221 раб5650 твой, и с этим Филистимлянином6430 необрезанным6189 будет то же, что с ними, потому что так поносит2778 воинство4634 Бога430 живого.2416
|
36 Your servant5650 slew5221 both1571 the lion738 and the bear:1677 and this2088 uncircumcised6189 Philistine6430 shall be as one259 of them, seeing3588 he has defied2778 the armies4634 of the living2416 God.430
|
|
37 И сказал559 Давид:1732 Господь,3068 Который избавлял5337 меня от льва738 и медведя,1677 избавит5337 меня и от руки3027 этого Филистимлянина.6430 И сказал559 Саул7586 Давиду:1732 иди,3212 и да будет Господь3068 с тобою.
|
37 David1732 said559 moreover, The LORD3068 that delivered5337 me out of the paw3027 of the lion,738 and out of the paw3027 of the bear,1677 he will deliver5337 me out of the hand3027 of this2088 Philistine.6430 And Saul7586 said559 to David,1732 Go,3212 and the LORD3068 be with you.

38 И одел3847 Саул7586 Давида1732 в свои одежды,4055 и возложил5414 на голову7218 его медный5178 шлем,6959 и надел3847 на него броню.8302
|
38 And Saul7586 armed3847 David1732 with his armor,4055 and he put5414 an helmet6959 of brass5178 on his head;7218 also he armed3847 him with a coat8302 of mail.
|
|
39 И опоясался2296 Давид1732 мечом2719 его сверх одежды4055 и начал2974 ходить,3212 ибо не привык5254 к такому вооружению; потом сказал559 Давид1732 Саулу:7586 я не могу3201 ходить3212 в этом, я не привык.5254 И снял5493 Давид1732 все это с себя.

39 And David1732 girded2296 his sword2719 on his armor,4055 and he assayed2974 to go;3212 for he had not proved5254 it. And David1732 said559 to Saul,7586 I cannot3808 go3212 with these;428 for I have not proved5254 them. And David1732 put5493 them off5921 him.
|
|
40 И взял3947 посох4731 свой в руку3027 свою, и выбрал977 себе пять2568 гладких2512 камней68 из ручья,5158 и положил7760 их в пастушескую7462 сумку,3627 которая была с ним; и с сумкою3219 и с пращею7050 в руке3027 своей выступил5066 против5066 Филистимлянина.6430

40 And he took3947 his staff4731 in his hand,3027 and chose977 him five2568 smooth2512 stones68 out of the brook,5158 and put7760 them in a shepherd's7462 bag3627 which834 he had, even in a money;3219 and his sling7050 was in his hand:3027 and he drew near5066 to the Philistine.6430

41 Выступил3212 и Филистимлянин,6430 идя1980 и приближаясь7131 к Давиду,1732 и оруженосец53756793 шел впереди3942 его.
|
41 And the Philistine6430 came3212 on and drew near7126 to David;1732 and the man376 that bore5375 the shield6793 went before6440 him.
|
|
42 И взглянул5027 Филистимлянин6430 и, увидев7200 Давида,1732 с959 презрением959 посмотрел959 на него, ибо он был молод,5288 белокур132 и красив3303 лицем.4758
|
42 And when the Philistine6430 looked5027 about,5027 and saw7200 David,1732 he disdained959 him: for he was but a youth,5288 and ruddy,132 and of a fair3303 countenance.4758
|
|
43 И сказал559 Филистимлянин6430 Давиду:1732 что ты идешь935 на меня с палкою?4731 разве я собака?3611 И проклял7043 Филистимлянин6430 Давида1732 своими богами.430
|
43 And the Philistine6430 said559 to David,1732 Am I a dog,3611 that you come935 to me with staves?4731 And the Philistine6430 cursed7043 David1732 by his gods.430
|
|
44 И сказал559 Филистимлянин6430 Давиду:1732 подойди3212 ко мне, и я отдам5414 тело1320 твое птицам5775 небесным8064 и зверям929 полевым.7704
|
44 And the Philistine6430 said559 to David,1732 Come3212 to me, and I will give5414 your flesh1320 to the fowls5775 of the air,8064 and to the beasts929 of the field.7704
|
|
45 А Давид1732 отвечал559 Филистимлянину:6430 ты идешь935 против меня с мечом2719 и копьем2595 и щитом,3591 а я иду935 против тебя во имя8034 Господа3068 Саваофа,6635 Бога430 воинств4634 Израильских,3478 которые ты поносил;2778
|
45 Then said559 David1732 to the Philistine,6430 You come935 to me with a sword,2719 and with a spear,2595 and with a shield:3591 but I come935 to you in the name8034 of the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of the armies4634 of Israel,3478 whom834 you have defied.2778
|
|
46 ныне предаст5462 тебя Господь3068 в руку3027 мою, и я убью5221 тебя, и сниму5493 с тебя голову7218 твою, и отдам5414 трупы6297 войска4264 Филистимского6430 птицам5775 небесным8064 и зверям2416 земным,776 и узнает3045 вся земля,776 что есть3426 Бог430 в Израиле;3478
|
46 This2088 day3117 will the LORD3068 deliver5462 you into my hand;3027 and I will smite5221 you, and take5493 your head7218 from you; and I will give5414 the carcasses6297 of the host4264 of the Philistines6430 this2088 day3117 to the fowls5775 of the air,8064 and to the wild2416 beasts2416 of the earth;776 that all3605 the earth776 may know3045 that there is a God430 in Israel.3478

|
47 и узнает3045 весь этот сонм,6951 что не мечом2719 и копьем2595 спасает3467 Господь,3068 ибо это война4421 Господа,3068 и Он предаст5414 вас в руки3027 наши.
|
47 And all3605 this2088 assembly6951 shall know3045 that the LORD3068 saves3467 not with sword2719 and spear:2595 for the battle4421 is the LORD's,3068 and he will give5414 you into our hands.3027
|
|
48 Когда Филистимлянин6430 поднялся6965 и стал3212 подходить3212 и приближаться7126 навстречу7125 Давиду,1732 Давид1732 поспешно4116 побежал7323 к строю4634 навстречу7125 Филистимлянину.6430
|
48 And it came1961 to pass, when3588 the Philistine6430 arose,6965 and came,3212 and drew near7126 to meet7125 David,1732 that David1732 hastened,4116 and ran7323 toward the army4634 to meet7125 the Philistine.6430
|
|
49 И опустил7971 Давид1732 руку3027 свою в сумку3627 и взял3947 оттуда камень,68 и бросил7049 из7049 пращи7049 и поразил5221 Филистимлянина6430 в лоб,4696 так что камень68 вонзился2883 в лоб4696 его, и он упал5307 лицем6440 на землю.776

49 And David1732 put7971 his hand3027 in his bag,3627 and took3947 there8033 a stone,68 and slang7049 it, and smote5221 the Philistine6430 in his forehead,4696 that the stone68 sunk2883 into his forehead;4696 and he fell5307 on his face6440 to the earth.776
|
|
50 Так одолел2388 Давид1732 Филистимлянина6430 пращею7050 и камнем,68 и поразил5221 Филистимлянина6430 и убил4191 его; меча2719 же не было в руках3027 Давида.1732
|
50 So David1732 prevailed2388 over4480 the Philistine6430 with a sling7050 and with a stone,68 and smote5221 the Philistine,6430 and slew4191 him; but there was no369 sword2719 in the hand3027 of David.1732
|
|
51 Тогда Давид1732 подбежал7323 и, наступив5975 на Филистимлянина,6430 взял3947 меч2719 его и вынул8025 его из ножен,8593 ударил4191 его и отсек3772 им голову7218 его; Филистимляне,6430 увидев,7200 что силач1368 их умер,4191 побежали.5127

51 Therefore David1732 ran,7323 and stood5975 on the Philistine,6430 and took3947 his sword,2719 and drew8025 it out of the sheath8593 thereof, and slew4191 him, and cut3772 off his head7218 therewith. And when the Philistines6430 saw7200 their champion1368 was dead,4191 they fled.5127

52 И поднялись6965 мужи582 Израильские3478 и Иудейские,3063 и воскликнули7321 и гнали7291 Филистимлян6430 до входа935 в долину1516 и до ворот8179 Аккарона.6138 И падали5307 поражаемые2491 Филистимляне6430 по дороге1870 Шааримской8189 до Гефа1661 и до Аккарона.6138

52 And the men582 of Israel3478 and of Judah3063 arose,6965 and shouted,7321 and pursued7291 the Philistines,6430 until5704 you come935 to the valley,1516 and to the gates8179 of Ekron.6138 And the wounded2491 of the Philistines6430 fell5307 down by the way1870 to Shaaraim,8189 even to Gath,1661 and to Ekron.6138

53 И возвратились7725 сыны1121 Израилевы3478 из погони1814 за310 Филистимлянами6430 и разграбили8155 стан4264 их.
|
53 And the children1121 of Israel3478 returned7725 from chasing1814 after310 the Philistines,6430 and they spoiled8155 their tents.4264
|
|
54 И взял3947 Давид1732 голову7218 Филистимлянина6430 и отнес935 ее в Иерусалим,3389 а оружие3627 его положил7760 в шатре168 своем.
|
54 And David1732 took3947 the head7218 of the Philistine,6430 and brought935 it to Jerusalem;3389 but he put7760 his armor3627 in his tent.168
|
|
55 Когда Саул7586 увидел7200 Давида,1732 выходившего3318 против7125 Филистимлянина,6430 то сказал559 Авениру,74 начальнику8269 войска:6635 Авенир,74 чей сын1121 этот юноша?5288 Авенир74 сказал:559 да живет2416 душа5315 твоя, царь;4428 я не знаю.3045
