1 О, кто даст5414 голове7218 моей воду4325 и глазам5869 моим — источник4726 слез!1832 я плакал1058 бы день3119 и ночь3915 о пораженных2491 дщери1323 народа5971 моего.

2 О, кто дал5414 бы мне в пустыне4057 пристанище4411 путников!732 оставил5800 бы я народ5971 мой и ушел3212 бы от них: ибо все они прелюбодеи,5003 скопище6116 вероломных.898

3 Как лук,7198 напрягают1869 язык3956 свой для лжи,8267 усиливаются1396 на земле776 неправдою;530 ибо переходят3318 от одного зла7451 к другому,7451 и Меня не знают,3045 говорит5002 Господь.3068

4 Берегитесь8104 каждый376 своего друга,7453 и не доверяйте982 ни одному из своих братьев;251 ибо всякий брат251 ставит6117 преткновение6117 другому, и всякий друг7453 разносит1980 клеветы.7400

8 Язык3956 их — убийственная7819 стрела,2671 говорит1696 коварно;4820 устами6310 своими говорят1696 с ближним7453 своим дружелюбно,7965 а в сердце7130 своем строят7760 ему ковы.696

9 Неужели Я не накажу6485 их за это? говорит5002 Господь;3068 не отмстит5358 ли душа5315 Моя такому народу,1471 как этот?

10 О горах2022 подниму5375 плач1065 и вопль,5092 и о степных4057 пастбищах4999 — рыдание,7015 потому что они выжжены,3341 так что никто376 там не проходит,5674 и не слышно8085 блеяния6963 стад:4735 от птиц5775 небесных8064 до скота929 — все рассеялись,5074 ушли.1980

11 И сделаю5414 Иерусалим3389 грудою1530 камней,1530 жилищем4583 шакалов,8577 и города5892 Иудеи3063 сделаю5414 пустынею,8077 без жителей.3427

13 И сказал559 Господь:3068 за то, что они оставили5800 закон8451 Мой, который Я постановил5414 для3942 них, и не слушали8085 гласа6963 Моего и не поступали1980 по нему;

14 а ходили3212 по310 упорству8307 сердца3820 своего и во след310 Ваалов,1168 как научили3925 их отцы1 их.

15 Посему так говорит559 Господь3068 Саваоф,6635 Бог430 Израилев:3478 вот, Я накормлю398 их, этот народ,5971 полынью,3939 и напою8248 их водою4325 с желчью;7219

16 и рассею6327 их между народами,1471 которых не знали3045 ни они, ни отцы1 их, и пошлю7971 вслед310 их меч,2719 доколе не истреблю3615 их.

17 Так говорит559 Господь3068 Саваоф:6635 подумайте,995 и позовите7121 плакальщиц,6969 чтобы они пришли;935 пошлите7971 за искусницами2450 в этом деле, чтобы они пришли.935

18 Пусть они поспешат4116 и поднимут5375 плач5092 о нас, чтобы из глаз5869 наших лились3381 слезы,1832 и с ресниц6079 наших текла5140 вода.4325

24 Но хвалящийся1984 хвались1984 тем, что разумеет7919 и знает3045 Меня, что Я — Господь,3068 творящий6213 милость,2617 суд4941 и правду6666 на земле;776 ибо только это благоугодно2654 Мне, говорит5002 Господь.3068

25 Вот, приходят935 дни,3117 говорит5002 Господь,3068 когда Я посещу6485 всех обрезанных4135 и необрезанных:6190

26 Египет4714 и Иудею,3063 и Едома123 и сыновей1121 Аммоновых,5983 и Моава4124 и всех стригущих7112 волосы на висках,6285 обитающих3427 в пустыне;4057 ибо все эти народы1471 необрезаны,6189 а весь дом1004 Израилев3478 с необрезанным6189 сердцем.3820

Chapter 9

1 OH that my head were waters and my eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!

2 Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men, that I might leave my people and go away from them! For they are all adulterers, an assembly of liars.

3 And they bend their tongues like their bow; in falsehood and not in truth they are valiant upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they do not know me, says the LORD.

4 Take heed every one of his neighbor and do not trust in any brother; for every brother henceforth will defraud and every neighbor will walk deceitfully.

5 And every man will lie against his neighbor and will not speak the truth; they have taught their tongues to speak lies, they are weary and worn out.

6 Your habitation is in the midst of deceit; through their deceit they refuse to know me, says the LORD.

7 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will refine them and try them; for what else shall I do because of the daughter of my people?

8 Their tongue is a sharp pointed arrow; it speaks deceit; one speaks peacefully to his neighbor with his mouth, but in his heart he lies in wait for him.

9 Shall I not punish them for these things? says the LORD; shall I not avenge myself on a people such as this?

10 Take up weeping and wailing for the mountains and a lamentation for the camps of the shepherds in the wilderness, because they are desolate so that none can pass through them; neither can any one hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the air and the beast have fled and they are gone.

11 And I will make Jerusalem heaps and a den of jackals; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate without an inhabitant.

12 Who is the wise man that may understand this? And who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD has spoken, that he may declare it, why is the land perished and become desolate like a wilderness so that no one passes through it?

13 And the LORD says, Because they have forsaken my law which I gave to them and to their fathers, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked according to my warnings;

14 But have followed after the imagination of their own evil heart and after the idols which their fathers taught them;

15 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood and give them bitter water to drink.

16 I will scatter them also among the Gentiles, whom neither they nor their fathers have known; and I will send a sword after them till I have consumed them.

17 Thus says the LORD of hosts, Call for the mourning women that they may come; and send for women versed in lamentations that they may come;

18 And let them make haste and take up lamentations for us, so that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.

19 For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, saying, How are we plundered! We are greatly ashamed, because we have left the land, because our tents are dismantled.

20 Therefore hear the word of the LORD, O women, and let your ears receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters lamentations, and every one to her neighbor a melody.

21 For death is come up into our windows and is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from the streets and the young men from the broad ways.

22 For thus says the LORD, The carcasses of men shall fall as rubbish upon the open field and as the grass after the reaper, and none shall gather them.

23 Thus says the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, and let not the rich man glory in his riches;

24 But let him who glories glory in this: that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD who executes lovingkindness, justice and righteousness in the earth; for in these things I delight, says the LORD.

25 Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will punish all those who are circumcised together with the uncircumcised;

26 Egyptians and Jews and Edomites, and the children of Ammon and Moab, and all those who cut their beards, who dwell in the wilderness; for all these nations are uncircumcised in their flesh, and all the house of Israel is uncircumcised in heart.

10 Take up weeping and wailing for the mountains and a lamentation for the camps of the shepherds in the wilderness, because they are desolate so that none can pass through them; neither can any one hear the voice of the cattle; both the fowl of the air and the beast have fled and they are gone.

11 And I will make Jerusalem heaps and a den of jackals; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate without an inhabitant.

12 Есть ли такой мудрец,2450376 который понял995 бы это? И к кому говорят1696 уста6310 Господни3068 — объяснил5046 бы, за что погибла6 страна776 и выжжена,3341 как пустыня,4057 так что никто не проходит5674 по ней?

12 Who is the wise man that may understand this? And who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD has spoken, that he may declare it, why is the land perished and become desolate like a wilderness so that no one passes through it?

13 И сказал559 Господь:3068 за то, что они оставили5800 закон8451 Мой, который Я постановил5414 для3942 них, и не слушали8085 гласа6963 Моего и не поступали1980 по нему;

13 And the LORD says, Because they have forsaken my law which I gave to them and to their fathers, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked according to my warnings;

14 а ходили3212 по310 упорству8307 сердца3820 своего и во след310 Ваалов,1168 как научили3925 их отцы1 их.
