1 Слова1697 Неемии,5166 сына1121 Ахалиина.2446 В месяце2320 Кислеве,3691 в двадцатом6242 году,8141 я находился в Сузах,7800 престольном1002 городе.1002

2 И пришел935 Ханани,2607 один из братьев251 моих, он и несколько человек582 из Иудеи.3063 И спросил7592 я их об уцелевших6413 Иудеях,3064 которые остались7604 от плена,7628 и об Иерусалиме.3389

3 И сказали559 они мне: оставшиеся,7604 которые остались7604 от плена,7628 находятся там, в стране4082 своей, в великом1419 бедствии7451 и в уничижении;2781 и стена2346 Иерусалима3389 разрушена,6555 и ворота8179 его сожжены3341 огнем.784

4 Услышав8085 эти слова,1697 я сел3427 и заплакал,1058 и печален56 был56 несколько дней,3117 и постился6684 и молился6419 пред3942 Богом430 небесным8064

5 и говорил:559 Господи3068 Боже430 небес,8064 Боже410 великий1419 и страшный,3372 хранящий8104 завет1285 и милость2617 к любящим157 Тебя и соблюдающим8104 заповеди4687 Твои!

6 Да будут уши241 Твои внимательны7183 и очи5869 Твои отверсты,6605 чтобы услышать8085 молитву8605 раба5650 Твоего, которою я теперь день3119 и ночь3915 молюсь6419 пред3942 Тобою о сынах1121 Израилевых,3478 рабах5650 Твоих, и исповедуюсь3034 во грехах2403 сынов1121 Израилевых,3478 которыми согрешили2398 мы пред Тобою, согрешили2398 — и я и дом1004 отца1 моего.

7 Мы стали2254 преступны2254 пред Тобою и не сохранили8104 заповедей4687 и уставов2706 и определений,4941 которые Ты заповедал6680 Моисею,4872 рабу5650 Твоему.

8 Но помяни2142 слово,1697 которое Ты заповедал6680 Моисею,4872 рабу5650 Твоему, говоря:559 если вы сделаетесь4603 преступниками,4603 то Я рассею6327 вас по народам;5971

9 когда же обратитесь7725 ко Мне и будете8104 хранить8104 заповеди4687 Мои и исполнять6213 их, то хотя бы вы изгнаны5080 были на край7097 неба,8064 и оттуда соберу6908 вас и приведу935 вас на место,4725 которое избрал977 Я, чтобы водворить7931 там имя8034 Мое.

10 Они же рабы5650 Твои и народ5971 Твой, который Ты искупил6299 силою3581 Твоею великою1419 и рукою3027 Твоею могущественною.2389

11 Молю577 Тебя, Господи!136 Да будет ухо241 Твое внимательно7183 к молитве8605 раба5650 Твоего и к молитве8605 рабов5650 Твоих, любящих2655 благоговеть3372 пред именем8034 Твоим. Nehemiah

Chapter 1

1 THE words of Nehemiah the son of Helakiah. And it came to pass in the month of Canun, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the palace,

2 That Hanan, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah; and I asked them concerning the remnant of the Jews who were left of the captivity and also concerning Jerusalem.

3 And these men whom I asked said to me, The men who had escaped the captivity, behold, they are there in the city, dwelling in misery and reproach; the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and its gates have been burned with fire.

4 When I heard these words, I sat down and wept and mourned for many days, and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven.

5 And I said, I beseech thee, O LORD God of heaven, the mighty, the great and revered God, who keeps truth and grace for those who love him and keep his commandments;

6 Let thine eyes now be open, and thine ears attentive, to hear the prayer of thy servant which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and I confess the sins of the children of Israel which they have sinned against thee; moreover, both I and my father's house have sinned before thee.

7 And we have not kept all the commandments nor the statutes nor the ordinances which thou didst command thy servant Moses.

8 Remember now all the commandments which thou didst command thy servant Moses, saying, If you transgress against me, I will scatter you among the nations;

9 But if you turn to me and keep my laws and do them, then though your scattered ones were in the uttermost part of heaven, vet I will gather you from thence and bring you to the place that I have chosen to set my name there.

10 Now these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast saved by thy great power and by thy strong hand.

11 O LORD, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant and to the prayer of those who are willing to worship thy name; and save thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was cup hearer to the king.

2 That Hanan, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah; and I asked them concerning the remnant of the Jews who were left of the captivity and also concerning Jerusalem.

3 И сказали559 они мне: оставшиеся,7604 которые остались7604 от плена,7628 находятся там, в стране4082 своей, в великом1419 бедствии7451 и в уничижении;2781 и стена2346 Иерусалима3389 разрушена,6555 и ворота8179 его сожжены3341 огнем.784

4 When I heard these words, I sat down and wept and mourned for many days, and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven.

5 и говорил:559 Господи3068 Боже430 небес,8064 Боже410 великий1419 и страшный,3372 хранящий8104 завет1285 и милость2617 к любящим157 Тебя и соблюдающим8104 заповеди4687 Твои!

5 And I said, I beseech thee, O LORD God of heaven, the mighty, the great and revered God, who keeps truth and grace for those who love him and keep his commandments;

6 Let thine eyes now be open, and thine ears attentive, to hear the prayer of thy servant which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and I confess the sins of the children of Israel which they have sinned against thee; moreover, both I and my father's house have sinned before thee.
