Розділ 6

1 Чи посміє хто з вас, маючи справу до іншого, су́дитися в неправедних, а не в святих?

2 Хіба ви не знаєте, що святі світ судитимуть? Коли ж бу́дете ви світ судити, то чи ж ви негі́дні судити незначні справи?

3 Хіба ви не знаєте, що ми будем судити анголі́в, а не тільки життє́ве?

4 А ви, коли маєте суд за життєве, то ставите суддями тих, хто нічо́го не значить у Церкві.

5 Я на сором це вам говорю́. Чи ж між вами немає ні о́дного мудрого, щоб він міг розсуди́ти між братами своїми?

6 Та брат су́диться з братом, — і то перед невірними!

7 Тож уже для вас сором зовсі́м, що суди́ між собою ви маєте. Чому краще не те́рпите кривди? Чому краще не маєте шкоди?

8 Але ви самі кривду чините та обдираєте, та ще братів.

9 Хіба ви не знаєте, що неправедні не вспадку́ють Божого Царства? Не обманюйте себе: ні розпу́сники, ні ідоля́ни, ні перелю́бники, ні блудоді́йники, ні мужоло́жники,

10 ні злоді́ї, ні користолю́бці, ні п'яни́ці, ні злорі́ки, ні хижаки́ — Царства Божого не вспадку́ють вони!

11 І такими були́ дехто з вас, але ви обмились, але́ освятились, але́ виправдались Іменем Господа Ісуса Христа й Духом нашого Бога.

12 Усе мені можна, та не все на пожи́ток. Усе мені можна, але мною, ніщо володіти не повинно.

13 Ї́жа для че́рева, і че́рево для їжі, але Бог одне й друге пони́щить. А тіло не для розпусти, але для Господа, і Господь для тіла.

14 Бог же й Господа воскресив, воскреси́ть Він і нас Своєю силою!

15 Хіба ви не знаєте, що ваші тіла́ — то члени Христові? Отож, узявши члени Христові, зроблю́ їх членами розпу́сниці? Зо́всім ні!

16 Хіба ви не знаєте, що той, хто злучується з розпу́сницею, стає одним тілом із нею? Бо каже: „Оби́два ви будете тілом одним“.

17 А хто з Господом злучується, стає одним духом із Ним.

18 Утікайте від розпусти. Усякий бо гріх, що його чинить люди́на, є поза тілом. А хто чинить розпусту, той грішить проти власного тіла.

19 Хіба ви не знаєте, що ваше тіло — то храм Духа Святого, що живе Він у вас, Якого від Бога ви маєте, і ви не свої?

20 Бо дорого ку́плені ви. Отож прославляйте Бога в тілі своє́му та в дусі своє́му, що Божі вони!

Chapter 6

1 Dare5111 any5100 of you, having2192 a matter4229 against4314 another,2087 go to law2919 before1909 the unjust,94 and not before1909 the saints?40

2 Do you not know1492 that the saints40 shall judge2919 the world?2889 and if1487 the world2889 shall be judged2919 by you, are you unworthy370 to judge2922 the smallest1646 matters?

3 Know1492 you not that we shall judge2919 angels?32 how3386 much3386 more1065 things that pertain to this life?982

4 If1437 then3767 you have2192 judgments2922 of things pertaining to this life,982 set2523 them to judge who are least1848 esteemed1848 in the church.1577

5 I speak3004 to your5213 shame.1791 Is it so,3779 that there is not a wise4680 man among1722 you? no, not one that shall be able1410 to judge1252 between303 3319 his brothers?80

6 But brother80 goes to law2919 with brother,80 and that before1909 the unbelievers.571

7 Now2236 therefore3767 there is utterly3654 a fault2275 among1722 you, because3754 you go to law2917 one1438 with another.1438 Why1302 do you not rather3123 take wrong?91 why1302 do you not rather3123 suffer yourselves to be defrauded?650

8 No,235 you do wrong,91 and defraud,650 and that your brothers.80

9 Know1492 you not that the unrighteous94 shall not inherit2816 the kingdom932 of God?2316 Be not deceived:4105 neither3777 fornicators,4205 nor3777 idolaters,1496 nor3777 adulterers,3432 nor3777 effeminate,3120 nor3777 abusers733 of themselves with mankind,733

10 Nor3777 thieves,2812 nor3777 covetous,4123 nor3756 drunkards,3183 nor3756 revilers,3060 nor3756 extortionists,727 shall inherit2816 the kingdom932 of God.2316

11 And such5023 were some5100 of you: but you are washed,628 but you are sanctified,37 but you are justified1344 in the name3686 of the Lord2962 Jesus,2424 and by the Spirit4151 of our God.2316

12 All3956 things are lawful1832 to me, but all3956 things are not expedient:4851 all3956 things are lawful1832 for me, but I will not be brought1850 under5259 the power1850 of any.5100

13 Meats1033 for the belly,2836 and the belly2836 for meats:1033 but God2316 shall destroy2673 both2532 it and them. Now1161 the body4983 is not for fornication,4202 but for the Lord;2962 and the Lord2962 for the body.4983

14 And God2316 has both2532 raised1453 up the Lord,2962 and will also2532 raise1825 up us by his own848 power.1411

15 Know1492 you not that your5216 bodies4983 are the members3196 of Christ?5547 shall I then3767 take142 the members3196 of Christ,5547 and make4160 them the members3196 of an harlot?4204 God3361 1096 forbid.3361 1096

16 What?2228 know1492 you not that he which is joined2853 to an harlot4204 is one1520 body?4983 for two,1417 said5346 he, shall be one3391 flesh.4561

17 But he that is joined2853 to the Lord2962 is one1520 spirit.4151

3 Know1492 you not that we shall judge2919 angels?32 how3386 much3386 more1065 things that pertain to this life?982

4 А ви, коли маєте суд за життєве, то ставите суддями тих, хто нічо́го не значить у Церкві.

4 If1437 then3767 you have2192 judgments2922 of things pertaining to this life,982 set2523 them to judge who are least1848 esteemed1848 in the church.1577

5 Я на сором це вам говорю́. Чи ж між вами немає ні о́дного мудрого, щоб він міг розсуди́ти між братами своїми?

10 ні злоді́ї, ні користолю́бці, ні п'яни́ці, ні злорі́ки, ні хижаки́ — Царства Божого не вспадку́ють вони!

14 Бог же й Господа воскресив, воскреси́ть Він і нас Своєю силою!

16 Хіба ви не знаєте, що той, хто злучується з розпу́сницею, стає одним тілом із нею? Бо каже: „Оби́два ви будете тілом одним“.

17 А хто з Господом злучується, стає одним духом із Ним.

17 But he that is joined2853 to the Lord2962 is one1520 spirit.4151

18 Утікайте від розпусти. Усякий бо гріх, що його чинить люди́на, є поза тілом. А хто чинить розпусту, той грішить проти власного тіла.

18 Flee5343 fornication.4202 Every3956 sin265 that a man444 does4160 is without1622 the body;4983 but he that commits4203 fornication4203 sins264 against1519 his own2398 body.4983

19 Хіба ви не знаєте, що ваше тіло — то храм Духа Святого, що живе Він у вас, Якого від Бога ви маєте, і ви не свої?
