1 Пісня проча́н. Багато гноби́ли мене від юна́цтва мого́, — нехай но Ізраїль пові́сть!

2 Багато гноби́ли мене від юна́цтва мого́, та мене не поду́жали!

3 Ора́ли були́ на хребті́ моїм плугатарі́, поклали вони довгі бо́розни,

4 та Господь справедливий, — Він шну́ри безбожних порва́в!

5 Нехай посоро́млені бу́дуть, і хай повідступа́ють назад усі ті, хто Сіона нена́видить!

6 Бодай стали вони, як трава на даха́х, що всихає вона, поки ви́росте,

7 що нею жмені своєї жнець не напо́внить, ані обере́мка свого в'яза́льник,

8 і не скаже прохо́жий до них: „Благослове́ння Господнє на вас, благословля́ємо вас Ім'я́м Господа!“
