第39篇

1 予飭我躬、謹我行、不以舌取戾、惡人在側、當箝口而慎言兮。

2 予緘默無詞、雖有昌言、不敢啟齒、惟懷憂兮、

3 中心默想、如炙如焚、不禁大放厥詞、

4 曰、耶和華兮、以我身之終、在世之日、指示於我、俾知生命之靡常兮、

5 予之生命、廣約一掌、自爾視之、一若無物、人雖完體、實則氣而已。

6 各人所爲、無非捉影、諠譟徒勞兮、積累財貨、不知孰得兮。

7 我望伊何、實惟主兮、

8 援我於罪、勿使惡人侮予兮。

9 爾旣降災、我默不語兮、

10 爾手責予、求爾免之兮、

11 爾罰人罪、其所珍貴者悉廢之、如衣被蠧兮、凡此世人、實則氣而已。

12 耶和華兮、俯聽我祈、垂聞我籲、我旣涕泣、援我勿緩兮、我爲賓客、旅於爾土、無異列祖兮。

13 請爾舍予、庶可少息我力、然後長往不返兮。
