1 Woe1945 to them that devise2803 iniquity,205 and work6466 evil7451 on their beds!4904 when the morning1242 is light,216 they practice6213 it, because3588 it is in the power410 of their hand.3027

2 Sie reißen2530 zu sich Äcker7704 und376 nehmen5375 Häuser1004, welche sie gelüstet. Also treiben sie Gewalt1497 mit eines1397 jeden Hause1004 und mit eines jeden Erbe5159.

2 And they covet2530 fields,7704 and take5375 them by violence;1497 and houses,1004 and take5375 them away:7726 so they oppress6231 a man1397 and his house,1004 even a man376 and his heritage.5159

3 Darum spricht559 der HErr3068 also: Siehe, ich gedenke2803 über dies Geschlecht4940 Böses7451, aus dem ihr euren Hals6677 nicht ziehen4185 und nicht so stolz7317 dahergehen sollet; denn es soll eine böse7451 Zeit6256 sein3212.

3 Therefore3651 thus3541 said559 the LORD;3068 Behold,2005 against5921 this2063 family4940 do I devise2803 an evil,7451 from which834 you shall not remove4185 your necks;6677 neither3808 shall you go3212 haughtily:7317 for this1931 time6256 is evil.7451

4 Zur selbigen Zeit3117 wird man559 einen Spruch4912 von euch machen4171 und5093 klagen5092: Es5971 ist5375 aus2506, wird man sagen; wir sind7703 verstöret. Meines Volkes Land2505 kriegt einen fremden Herrn. Wann wird er4185 uns die Äcker7704 wieder7725 zuteilen, die er uns genommen hat?

4 In that day3117 shall one take5375 up a parable4912 against5921 you, and lament5091 with a doleful5093 lamentation,5092 and say,559 We be utterly7703 spoiled:7703 he has changed4171 the portion2506 of my people:5971 how349 has he removed4185 it from me! turning7725 away he has divided2505 our fields.7704

6 Sie sagen, man solle nicht träufen; denn solche Träufe trifft uns nicht; wir werden5253 nicht so zuschanden werden.

6 Prophesy5197 you not, say they to them that prophesy:5197 they shall not prophesy5197 to them, that they shall not take5253 shame.3639

7 Das1697 Haus1004 Jakob3290 tröstet sich also: Meinest du559, des HErrn3068 Geist7307 sei verkürzt7114? Sollte er solches tun4611 wollen? Es3190 ist wahr, meine Reden sind1980 freundlich den Frommen3477.

7 O you that are named559 the house1004 of Jacob,3290 is the spirit7307 of the LORD3068 straitened?7114 are these428 his doings?4611 do not my words1697 do good3190 to him that walks1980 uprightly?3477

8 Aber865 mein Volk5971 hat sich7725 aufgemacht wie ein Feind341; denn4136 sie rauben6584 beide, Rock8008 und Mantel145, denen, so sicher983 dahergehen5674, gleichwie die, so aus dem Kriege4421 kommen6965.

8 Even of late865 my people5971 is risen6965 up as an enemy:341 you pull6584 off the robe145 with the garment8008 from them that pass5674 by securely983 as men averse7725 from war.4421

9 Ihr treibet die5769 Weiber802 meines Volks5971 aus ihren lieben8588 Häusern1004 und nehmet stets von ihren jungen Kindern5768 meinen Schmuck1926.

9 The women802 of my people5971 have you cast1644 out from their pleasant8588 houses;1004 from their children5768 have you taken3947 away my glory1926 for ever.5769

10 Darum machet euch auf6965; ihr müsset davon3212; ihr sollt4496 hie nicht2254 bleiben! Um ihrer Unreinigkeit willen müssen sie4834 unsanft2256 zerstöret werden2930.

10 Arise6965 you, and depart;3212 for this2063 is not your rest:4496 because5668 it is polluted,2930 it shall destroy2254 you, even with a sore4834 destruction.2256

11 Wenn3863 ich ein376 Irrgeist wäre und1980 ein Lügenprediger8267 und7307 predigte5197, wie sie saufen3196 und schwelgen7941 sollten, das wäre ein Prediger für dies Volk5971.

11 If3863 a man376 walking1980 in the spirit7307 and falsehood8267 do lie,3576 saying, I will prophesy5197 to you of wine3196 and of strong7941 drink;7941 he shall even be the prophet5197 of this2088 people.5971

12 Ich will aber dich, Jakob3290, versammeln622 ganz und6908 die übrigen7611 in8432 Israel3478 zuhauf622 bringen; ich will sie wie eine Herde6629 miteinander3162 in einen festen Stall1223 tun7760 und6908 wie eine Herde5739 in seine Hürden1699, daß es von Menschen120 tönen1949 soll.

12 I will surely assemble,622 O Jacob,3290 all3605 of you; I will surely gather6908 the remnant7611 of Israel;3478 I will put7760 them together3162 as the sheep6629 of Bozrah,1224 as the flock5739 in the middle8432 of their fold:1699 they shall make great noise1949 by reason of the multitude of men.120

13 Es wird7218 ein Durchbrecher vor6440 ihnen herauffahren; sie6555 werden6555 durchbrechen und3318 zum Tor8179 aus5927- und einziehen; und ihr5674 König4428 wird vor6440 ihnen hergehen, und der HErr3068 vornean.

13 The breaker6555 is come5927 up before6440 them: they have broken6555 up, and have passed5674 through the gate,8179 and are gone3318 out by it: and their king4428 shall pass5674 before6440 them, and the LORD3068 on the head7218 of them.
