Chapter 22

1 Then David1732 said,559 This2088 is the house1004 of the LORD3068 God,430 and this2088 is the altar4196 of the burnt5930 offering for Israel.3478

2 And David1732 commanded559 to gather3664 together the strangers1616 that were in the land776 of Israel;3478 and he set5975 masons2672 to hew2672 worked1496 stones68 to build1129 the house1004 of God.430

3 And David1732 prepared3559 iron1270 in abundance7230 for the nails4548 for the doors1817 of the gates,8179 and for the joinings;4226 and brass5178 in abundance7230 without weight;4948

4 Also cedar730 trees6086 in abundance:369 4557 for the Zidonians6722 and they of Tyre6876 brought935 much7230 cedar730 wood6086 to David.1732

5 And David1732 said,559 Solomon8010 my son1121 is young5288 and tender,7390 and the house1004 that is to be built1129 for the LORD3068 must be exceeding4605 magnificent,1431 of fame8034 and of glory8597 throughout all3605 countries:776 I will therefore now4994 make preparation3559 for it. So David1732 prepared3559 abundantly7230 before6440 his death.4194

6 Then he called7121 for Solomon8010 his son,1121 and charged6680 him to build1129 an house1004 for the LORD3068 God430 of Israel.3478

7 And David1732 said559 to Solomon,8010 My son,1121 as for me, it was in my mind3824 to build1129 an house1004 to the name8034 of the LORD3068 my God:430

8 But the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to me, saying,559 You have shed8210 blood1818 abundantly,7230 and have made6213 great1419 wars:4421 you shall not build1129 an house1004 to my name,8034 because3588 you have shed8210 much7227 blood1818 on the earth776 in my sight.6440

9 Behold,2009 a son1121 shall be born3205 to you, who1931 shall be a man376 of rest;4496 and I will give him rest5117 from all3605 his enemies341 round5439 about: for his name8034 shall be Solomon,8010 and I will give5414 peace7965 and quietness8253 to Israel3478 in his days.3117

10 He shall build1129 an house1004 for my name;8034 and he shall be my son,1121 and I will be his father;25 and I will establish3559 the throne3678 of his kingdom4438 over5921 Israel3478 for ever.5769

11 Now,6258 my son,1121 the LORD3068 be with you; and prosper6743 you, and build1129 the house1004 of the LORD3068 your God,430 as he has said1696 of you.

12 Only the LORD3068 give5414 you wisdom7922 and understanding,998 and give you charge6680 concerning5921 Israel,3478 that you may keep8104 the law8451 of the LORD3068 your God.430

13 Then227 shall you prosper,6743 if518 you take8104 heed8104 to fulfill6213 the statutes2706 and judgments4941 which834 the LORD3068 charged6680 Moses4872 with concerning5921 Israel:3478 be strong,2388 and of good courage;553 dread3372 not, nor408 be dismayed.2865

14 Now, behold,2009 in my trouble6040 I have prepared3559 for the house1004 of the LORD3068 an hundred3967 thousand505 talents3603 of gold,2091 and a thousand505 thousand505 talents3603 of silver;3701 and of brass5178 and iron1270 without369 weight;4948 for it is in abundance:7230 timber6086 also and stone68 have I prepared;3559 and you may add3254 thereto.5921

15 Moreover there are workmen6213 4399 with you in abundance,7230 hewers2672 and workers2796 of stone68 and timber,6086 and all3605 manner of cunning2450 men for every3605 manner of work.4399

16 Of the gold,2091 the silver,3701 and the brass,5178 and the iron,1270 there is no369 number.4557 Arise6965 therefore, and be doing,6213 and the LORD3068 be with you.

17 David1732 also commanded6680 all3605 the princes8269 of Israel3478 to help5826 Solomon8010 his son,1121 saying,

18 Is not the LORD3068 your God430 with you? and has he not given you rest5117 on every5437 side?5439 for he has given5414 the inhabitants3427 of the land776 into my hand;3027 and the land776 is subdued3533 before6440 the LORD,3068 and before6440 his people.5971

19 Now6258 set5414 your heart3824 and your soul5315 to seek1875 the LORD3068 your God;430 arise6965 therefore, and build1129 you the sanctuary4720 of the LORD3068 God,430 to bring935 the ark727 of the covenant1285 of the LORD,3068 and the holy6944 vessels3627 of God,430 into the house1004 that is to be built1129 to the name8034 of the LORD.3068

1 И Давуд сказал: – Здесь будет дом Вечного Бога и жертвенник для всесожжений Исраила.

2 Давуд приказал собрать всех живущих в Исраиле чужеземцев и назначил из них каменотёсов, чтобы они тесали камень для строительства храма Всевышнего.

3 Он заготовил много железа, чтобы делать гвозди для дверей в воротах и скобы, и бронзы больше, чем можно было взвесить.

4 Ещё он заготовил столько кедровых брёвен, что их невозможно было пересчитать, ведь сидоняне и тиряне поставили их Давуду в избытке.

5 Давуд сказал: – Мой сын Сулейман ещё молод и неопытен, а дом, который следует построить Вечному, должен быть великолепен, славен и знаменит во всех землях. Поэтому я приготовлю для него всё необходимое. И до своей смерти Давуд успел заготовить для храма много строительного материала.

6 Он призвал своего сына Сулеймана и повелел ему построить дом для Вечного, Бога Исраила.

7 Давуд сказал Сулейману: – Сын, я думал построить дом для поклонения Вечному, моему Богу,

8 но ко мне было слово Вечного: «Ты пролил много крови и вёл большие войны. Ты не построишь дом для поклонения Мне, потому что ты пролил предо Мной на землю много крови.

9 Но у тебя родится сын, который будет мирным человеком, и Я дам ему покой от всех окружающих его врагов. Поэтому его будут звать Сулейман («мир»), и в дни его царствования Я дам Исраилу мир и спокойствие.

10 Он и построит дом для поклонения Мне. Он будет Мне сыном, а Я буду ему Отцом. Я упрочу престол его царства над Исраилом навеки».

11 Итак, сын, пусть Вечный будет с тобой, чтобы тебе сопутствовал успех и ты построил дом Вечному, твоему Богу, как Он и говорил о тебе.

12 Пусть Вечный даст тебе разум и понимание, когда Он поставит тебя властвовать над Исраилом, чтобы тебе соблюдать Закон Вечного, твоего Бога.

13 Тебе будет сопутствовать успех, если ты будешь внимателен к тому, чтобы исполнять установления и законы, которые Вечный дал Мусе для Исраила. Будь твёрд и мужествен. Не бойся, не падай духом.

14 Я приложил много труда, заготовив для дома Вечного три тысячи шестьсот тонн золота и тридцать шесть тысяч тонн серебра, а бронзы и железа больше, чем можно взвесить, а также дерево и камень. Ты же прибавь к этому ещё.

15 У тебя много мастеров: каменотёсов, каменщиков и плотников, а также людей, искусных в работе

16 с золотом и серебром, бронзой и железом, – ремесленников без счёта. Итак, начинай работу, и пусть Вечный будет с тобой.

17 Давуд велел всем старейшинам Исраила помогать его сыну Сулейману.

18 Он сказал им: – Разве Вечный, ваш Бог, не с вами? Разве Он не даровал вам покой со всех сторон? Ведь Он отдал мне обитателей этой земли, и земля подвластна Вечному и Его народу.

19 Посвятите же свой разум и сердце тому, чтобы искать Вечного, вашего Бога; начните строить святилище Вечному Богу, чтобы вы могли внести сундук соглашения Вечного и все остальные священные предметы в храм, который будет выстроен для поклонения Вечному.

1 И Давуд сказал: – Здесь будет дом Вечного Бога и жертвенник для всесожжений Исраила.

2 And David1732 commanded559 to gather3664 together the strangers1616 that were in the land776 of Israel;3478 and he set5975 masons2672 to hew2672 worked1496 stones68 to build1129 the house1004 of God.430

2 Давуд приказал собрать всех живущих в Исраиле чужеземцев и назначил из них каменотёсов, чтобы они тесали камень для строительства храма Всевышнего.

3 And David1732 prepared3559 iron1270 in abundance7230 for the nails4548 for the doors1817 of the gates,8179 and for the joinings;4226 and brass5178 in abundance7230 without weight;4948

5 Давуд сказал: – Мой сын Сулейман ещё молод и неопытен, а дом, который следует построить Вечному, должен быть великолепен, славен и знаменит во всех землях. Поэтому я приготовлю для него всё необходимое. И до своей смерти Давуд успел заготовить для храма много строительного материала.

6 Then he called7121 for Solomon8010 his son,1121 and charged6680 him to build1129 an house1004 for the LORD3068 God430 of Israel.3478

6 Он призвал своего сына Сулеймана и повелел ему построить дом для Вечного, Бога Исраила.

7 And David1732 said559 to Solomon,8010 My son,1121 as for me, it was in my mind3824 to build1129 an house1004 to the name8034 of the LORD3068 my God:430

7 Давуд сказал Сулейману: – Сын, я думал построить дом для поклонения Вечному, моему Богу,

8 But the word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to me, saying,559 You have shed8210 blood1818 abundantly,7230 and have made6213 great1419 wars:4421 you shall not build1129 an house1004 to my name,8034 because3588 you have shed8210 much7227 blood1818 on the earth776 in my sight.6440

8 но ко мне было слово Вечного: «Ты пролил много крови и вёл большие войны. Ты не построишь дом для поклонения Мне, потому что ты пролил предо Мной на землю много крови.

9 Behold,2009 a son1121 shall be born3205 to you, who1931 shall be a man376 of rest;4496 and I will give him rest5117 from all3605 his enemies341 round5439 about: for his name8034 shall be Solomon,8010 and I will give5414 peace7965 and quietness8253 to Israel3478 in his days.3117

9 Но у тебя родится сын, который будет мирным человеком, и Я дам ему покой от всех окружающих его врагов. Поэтому его будут звать Сулейман («мир»), и в дни его царствования Я дам Исраилу мир и спокойствие.

10 He shall build1129 an house1004 for my name;8034 and he shall be my son,1121 and I will be his father;25 and I will establish3559 the throne3678 of his kingdom4438 over5921 Israel3478 for ever.5769

10 Он и построит дом для поклонения Мне. Он будет Мне сыном, а Я буду ему Отцом. Я упрочу престол его царства над Исраилом навеки».

11 Now,6258 my son,1121 the LORD3068 be with you; and prosper6743 you, and build1129 the house1004 of the LORD3068 your God,430 as he has said1696 of you.

11 Итак, сын, пусть Вечный будет с тобой, чтобы тебе сопутствовал успех и ты построил дом Вечному, твоему Богу, как Он и говорил о тебе.

12 Only the LORD3068 give5414 you wisdom7922 and understanding,998 and give you charge6680 concerning5921 Israel,3478 that you may keep8104 the law8451 of the LORD3068 your God.430

12 Пусть Вечный даст тебе разум и понимание, когда Он поставит тебя властвовать над Исраилом, чтобы тебе соблюдать Закон Вечного, твоего Бога.

13 Then227 shall you prosper,6743 if518 you take8104 heed8104 to fulfill6213 the statutes2706 and judgments4941 which834 the LORD3068 charged6680 Moses4872 with concerning5921 Israel:3478 be strong,2388 and of good courage;553 dread3372 not, nor408 be dismayed.2865

13 Тебе будет сопутствовать успех, если ты будешь внимателен к тому, чтобы исполнять установления и законы, которые Вечный дал Мусе для Исраила. Будь твёрд и мужествен. Не бойся, не падай духом.

14 Я приложил много труда, заготовив для дома Вечного три тысячи шестьсот тонн золота и тридцать шесть тысяч тонн серебра, а бронзы и железа больше, чем можно взвесить, а также дерево и камень. Ты же прибавь к этому ещё.

15 У тебя много мастеров: каменотёсов, каменщиков и плотников, а также людей, искусных в работе

16 с золотом и серебром, бронзой и железом, – ремесленников без счёта. Итак, начинай работу, и пусть Вечный будет с тобой.

17 Давуд велел всем старейшинам Исраила помогать его сыну Сулейману.
