Hebrews

Chapter 1

1 FROM of old God spoke to our fathers by the prophets in every manner and in all ways; and in these latter days, he has spoken to us by his Son;

2 Whom he has appointed heir of all things, and by whom also he made the worlds;

3 For he is the brightness of his glory and the express image of his being, upholding all things by the power of his word; and when he had through his person, cleansed our sins, then he sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

4 And he is altogether greater than the angels, just as the name he has inherited is a more excellent name than theirs.

5 For to which of the angels has God at any time, said You are my Son, this day have I begotten you? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

6 And again, when he brought the Firstbegotten into the world, he said, Let all the angels of God worship him.

7 And of the angels he said thus, Who makes his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire.

8 But of the Son he said, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the scepter of thy kingdom is a right scepter.

9 You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore, God, even your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness more than your fellows.

10 And from the very beginning you have laid the foundations of the earth; and the heavens are the works of your hands:

11 They shall pass away; but you shall endure; and they all shall wear out like a garment;

12 And as a cloak you shall fold them up, and they shall be changed: but you are the same, and your years shall never end.

13 For to which of the angels has he at any time said, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool under your feet?

14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth in the service for those who shall inherit life everlasting?

Послание евреям

Глава 1

1 В былые времена Бог о многом уже поведал отцам нашим подробно и в самых разных Своих обращениях к ним через пророков.

2 В последние же дни мира сего Он говорил нам через Сына Своего, Коего соделал наследником всего и через Которого сотворил Вселенную.

3 Сын Этот — сияние славы Бога и печать естества Его — держит всё Своим могущественным словом. Смертью Своей совершив наше очищение от грехов, Он воссел по правую руку Владыки Небесного

4 и вновь стал выше ангелов, как и имя Его унаследованное превосходит их имена.

5 Кому из ангелов говорил когда-либо Бог: «Ты — Сын Мой, а Я отныне — Отец Твой»? А также: «Я буду Его Отцом, а Он будет Сыном Моим»?

6 И когда вводил Бог Первенца Своего в мир, Он тоже говорил: «Да чтят Его как Бога все ангелы Божии!»

7 Если об ангелах Бог говорит, что Он ангелов Своих делает ветрами и слуг Своих — огнем пламенеющим,

8 то о Сыне Он сказал по-другому: «Боже, престол Твой — во веки веков, скипетр Царства Твоего — это скипетр справедливости.

9 Ты любишь праведность и ненавидишь беззаконие, вот почему Я, Бог Твой, помазал Тебя, Боже, елеем радости, как никого из тех, кто с Тобой».

10 И еще: «Господи, Ты положил когда-то давно начало земле, и небо — Тобой сотворено.

11 Они исчезнут, а Ты останешься; обветшают все они, как одежда,

12 и свернешь Ты их, как покрывало, сменишь Ты их, как всякое одеяние, а Сам всё тот же Ты, и лета Твои не кончатся».

13 Сказал ли когда Бог кому-нибудь из ангелов: «Сядь по правую руку Мою, доколе не повергну врагов Твоих к ногам Твоим»?

14 Все ангелы — это только духи, Богу служащие и посылаемые Им в помощь тем, кто должен наследовать спасение.

2 В последние же дни мира сего Он говорил нам через Сына Своего, Коего соделал наследником всего и через Которого сотворил Вселенную.

6 И когда вводил Бог Первенца Своего в мир, Он тоже говорил: «Да чтят Его как Бога все ангелы Божии!»

7 Если об ангелах Бог говорит, что Он ангелов Своих делает ветрами и слуг Своих — огнем пламенеющим,
