Книга пророка Амоса

Глава 7

1 Было мне от Владыки ГОСПОДА такое видение: готовил Он полчище саранчи, и это было то время, когда только что завершился покос для конюшен царя, а второй урожай злаков — поздние всходы — едва проклюнулись.

2 И когда в видении саранча та пожрала всё, что на поле росло, я воззвал: «Владыка ГОСПОДИ, пощади! Как тут устоять Иакову? Он так мал!»

3 Уступил ГОСПОДЬ. «Не будет этого», — сказал Он.

4 И такое видение было мне от Владыки ГОСПОДА: призвал Он дождь огненный, и тот, поглотив великую бездну, стал распространяться по полю.

5 Тогда сказал я: «Владыка ГОСПОДИ, молю, не делай этого! Как тут устоять Иакову? Он так мал!»

6 Уступил ГОСПОДЬ. «Не будет и этого», — сказал Владыка ГОСПОДЬ.

7 И еще вот что Он мне показал: стоял Он, Владыка, у стены, свинцовый отвес был в Его руке.

8 И спросил меня ГОСПОДЬ: «Что видишь, Амос?» Я ответил: «Свинцовый отвес». Тогда Владыка сказал: «Как к стене покосившейся, отвес Я опускаю среди народа Моего и более прощать и щадить его не буду.

9 Опустошены будут места поклонения Исаака, разорены святилища Израиля, с мечом пойду Я на дом Иеровоама!»

10 Амацья, священник при капище в Бет-Эле, послал израильскому царю Иеровоаму такую весть: «Амос плетет заговор против тебя в самом сердце Израиля! Сколько можно терпеть, что по всей стране разносятся вздорные речи его?!

11 Ведь вот что он говорит: „Иеровоам от меча умрет, а израильтяне неизбежно в плен попадут, подальше от родной земли“».

12 Самому же Амосу Амацья тогда сказал: «Иди-ка ты отсюда, провидец! Беги в свою Иудею, зарабатывай там на жизнь и пророчествуй.

13 Хватит тебе! Бет-Элю не нужны твои пророчества! Это царское святилище, храм царства нашего!»

14 «Я не собирался быть пророком, — Амос ответил Амацье, — да и не сын я пророка, скотоводством я занимался и сикоморы выращивал.

15 Но ГОСПОДЬ взял меня от стад и сказал: „Ступай и народу Моему Израилю пророчествуй“.

16 Выслушай и ты слово ГОСПОДНЕ. Ты говоришь мне: „Перестань предсказывать худое об Израиле и возводить поношение на потомков Исаака“.

17 Посему так говорит ГОСПОДЬ: „Жена твоя блудницей городской станет, дети — и сыновья, и дочери — от меча падут, земля твоя другим достанется, сам ты в чужой, языческой стране умрешь, а израильтяне неизбежно в плен попадут, подальше от родной земли“».

Chapter 7

1 Thus3541 hath the Lord136 GOD3069 showed7200 unto me; and, behold,2009 he formed3335 grasshoppers1462 in the beginning8462 of the shooting up5927 of the latter growth;3954 and, lo,2009 it was the latter growth3954 after310 the king's4428 mowings.1488

2 And it came to pass,1961 that when518 they had made an end3615 of eating398 853 the grass6212 of the land,776 then I said,559 O Lord136 GOD,3069 forgive,5545 I beseech thee:4994 by whom4310 shall Jacob3290 arise?6965 for3588 he1931 is small.6996

3 The LORD3068 repented5162 for5921 this:2063 It shall not3808 be,1961 saith559 the LORD.3068

4 Thus3541 hath the Lord136 GOD3069 showed7200 unto me: and, behold,2009 the Lord136 GOD3069 called7121 to contend7378 by fire,784 and it devoured398 853 the great7227 deep,8415 and did eat up398 853 a part.2506

5 Then said559 I, O Lord136 GOD,3069 cease,2308 I beseech thee:4994 by whom4310 shall Jacob3290 arise?6965 for3588 he1931 is small.6996

6 The LORD3068 repented5162 for5921 this:2063 This1931 also1571 shall not3808 be,1961 saith559 the Lord136 GOD.3069

7 Thus3541 he showed7200 me: and, behold,2009 the Lord136 stood5324 upon5921 a wall2346 made by a plumb line,594 with a plumb line594 in his hand.3027

8 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 me, Amos,5986 what4100 seest7200 thou?859 And I said,559 A plumb line.594 Then said559 the Lord,136 Behold,2009 I will set7760 a plumb line594 in the midst7130 of my people5971 Israel:3478 I will not3808 again3254 pass5674 by them any more: 5750

9 And the high places1116 of Isaac3446 shall be desolate,8074 and the sanctuaries4720 of Israel3478 shall be laid waste;2717 and I will rise6965 against5921 the house1004 of Jeroboam3379 with the sword.2719

10 Then Amaziah558 the priest3548 of Bethel1008 sent7971 to413 Jeroboam3379 king4428 of Israel,3478 saying,559 Amos5986 hath conspired7194 against5921 thee in the midst7130 of the house1004 of Israel:3478 the land776 is not able3201 3808 to bear3557 853 all3605 his words.1697

11 For3588 thus3541 Amos5986 saith,559 Jeroboam3379 shall die4191 by the sword,2719 and Israel3478 shall surely be led away captive1540 1540 out of4480 5921 their own land.127

12 Also Amaziah558 said559 unto413 Amos,5986 O thou seer,2374 go,1980 flee thee away1272 into413 the land776 of Judah,3063 and there8033 eat398 bread,3899 and prophesy5012 there: 8033

13 But prophesy5012 not3808 again3254 any more5750 at Bethel:1008 for3588 it1931 is the king's4428 chapel,4720 and it1931 is the king's4467 court.1004

14 Then answered6030 Amos,5986 and said559 to413 Amaziah,558 I595 was no3808 prophet,5030 neither3808 was I595 a prophet's5030 son;1121 but3588 I595 was a herdsman,951 and a gatherer1103 of sycamore fruit: 8256

15 And the LORD3068 took3947 me as I followed4480 310 the flock,6629 and the Lord3068 said559 unto413 me, Go,1980 prophesy5012 unto413 my people5971 Israel.3478

16 Now6258 therefore hear8085 thou the word1697 of the LORD:3068 Thou859 sayest,559 Prophesy5012 not3808 against5921 Israel,3478 and drop5197 not3808 thy word against5921 the house1004 of Isaac.3446

17 Therefore3651 thus3541 saith559 the LORD;3068 Thy wife802 shall be a harlot2181 in the city,5892 and thy sons1121 and thy daughters1323 shall fall5307 by the sword,2719 and thy land127 shall be divided2505 by line;2256 and thou859 shalt die4191 in5921 a polluted2931 land:127 and Israel3478 shall surely go into captivity1540 1540 forth of4480 5921 his land.127

11 Ведь вот что он говорит: „Иеровоам от меча умрет, а израильтяне неизбежно в плен попадут, подальше от родной земли“».

11 For3588 thus3541 Amos5986 saith,559 Jeroboam3379 shall die4191 by the sword,2719 and Israel3478 shall surely be led away captive1540 1540 out of4480 5921 their own land.127

12 Самому же Амосу Амацья тогда сказал: «Иди-ка ты отсюда, провидец! Беги в свою Иудею, зарабатывай там на жизнь и пророчествуй.

12 Also Amaziah558 said559 unto413 Amos,5986 O thou seer,2374 go,1980 flee thee away1272 into413 the land776 of Judah,3063 and there8033 eat398 bread,3899 and prophesy5012 there: 8033

13 Хватит тебе! Бет-Элю не нужны твои пророчества! Это царское святилище, храм царства нашего!»

13 But prophesy5012 not3808 again3254 any more5750 at Bethel:1008 for3588 it1931 is the king's4428 chapel,4720 and it1931 is the king's4467 court.1004

14 «Я не собирался быть пророком, — Амос ответил Амацье, — да и не сын я пророка, скотоводством я занимался и сикоморы выращивал.

14 Then answered6030 Amos,5986 and said559 to413 Amaziah,558 I595 was no3808 prophet,5030 neither3808 was I595 a prophet's5030 son;1121 but3588 I595 was a herdsman,951 and a gatherer1103 of sycamore fruit: 8256

17 Посему так говорит ГОСПОДЬ: „Жена твоя блудницей городской станет, дети — и сыновья, и дочери — от меча падут, земля твоя другим достанется, сам ты в чужой, языческой стране умрешь, а израильтяне неизбежно в плен попадут, подальше от родной земли“».
