Глава 21

1 Старейшины всех родов колена Левия пришли к Элеазару-священнику, Иисусу Навину и старейшинам остальных колен Израилевых

2 в Силом, что в стране Ханаан, и сказали им: «Еще Моисей передал повеление ГОСПОДНЕ о том, чтобы нам были отданы селения для проживания и прилегающие к ним пастбища для нашего скота».

3 И тогда израильтяне, исполняя повеление ГОСПОДА, выделили потомкам Левия, в каждом из своих наследственных уделов, селения с окрестными пастбищами.

4 Первый жребий выпал семействам Кехата. Потомки Аарона, священника из колена Левия, получили по жребию тринадцать селений от колен Иуды, Симеона и Вениамина,

5 а остальные сыны Кехата десять селений, принадлежавших семействам колен Ефрема, Дана и половины колена Манассии.

6 Потомкам Гершона достались по жребию тринадцать селений от семейств колен Иссахара, Асира, Неффалима и той половины колена Манассии, что жила в Башане.

7 А семейства потомков Мерари получили двенадцать селений от колен Рувима, Гада и Завулона.

8 Эти селения с окрестными пастбищами израильтяне определили жребием и отдали левитам по воле ГОСПОДА, переданной через Моисея.

9 В землях, принадлежавших коленам Иуды и Симеона, левитам выделили перечисленные далее селения,

10 которые отошли к потомкам Аарона, левитам из рода Кехата, потому что им выпал первый жребий.

11 Им отдали Кирьят-Арбу с окрестными пастбищами в горной стране Иуды селение отца Анакова, то есть Хеврон.

12 Окрестные же поля и селения отданы были в собственность Халеву, сыну Ефуннэ.

13 Потомкам Аарона-священника также отдали и другие селения с окрестными пастбищами: Хеврон (город-убежище), Ливну,

14 Яттир, Эштемоа,

15 Холон, Девир,

16 Аин, Ютту и Бет-Шемеш — еще девять селений от двух этих колен.

17 От колена Вениаминова получили они Гивон, Геву,

18 Анатот и Алмон — четыре селения с пастбищами.

19 Всего у потомков Аарона-священника было тринадцать селений с прилегающими к ним пастбищами.

20 Остальные семейства левитов из рода Кехата также получили селения по жребию. Вот какие из селений в землях колена Ефремова

21 достались им вместе с окрестными пастбищами: Шехем (город-убежище) в нагорье Ефрема, Гезер,

22 Кивцаим и Бет-Хорон — четыре селения вместе с их пастбищами.

23 От колена Данова получили они селения Эльтеке, Гиббетон,

24 Аялон и Гат-Риммон с пастбищами — всего четыре селения,

25 и еще два селения с пастбищами от половины колена Манассии — Таанах и Гат-Риммон.

26 Всего у остальных семейств из рода Кехата было десять селений с их пастбищами.

27 А потомки Гершона из колена Левия получили от половины колена Манассии два селения с пастбищами: город-убежище Голан в Башане и Беэштеру.

28 В землях колена Иссахарова достались им селения с пастбищами Кишьйон, Даверат,

29 Ярмут и Эн-Ганним с пастбищами. Всего — четыре селения.

30 Колено Асира отдало им Мишаль, Авдон и окрестные пастбища,

31 Хелькат и Рехов с их пастбищами — еще четыре селения.

32 От колена Неффалима получили они три селения с окрестными пастбищами: Кедеш в Галилее (город-убежище), Хаммот-Дор и Картан.

33 Всего было отдано семействам Гершона тринадцать селений с пастбищами.

34 Остальные потомки Левия, потомки Мерари, получили в землях колена Завулонова Йокнеам, Карту,

35 Димну и Нахалаль — четыре селения с окрестными пастбищами.

36 Колено Рувима отдало им Бецер, Яхцу,

37 Кедемот и Мефаат с окрестными пастбищами — еще четыре селения.

38 От колена Гадова получили они город-убежище Рамот в Гиладе, также Маханаим,

39 Хешбон и Язер — все четыре селения с окрестными пастбищами.

40 Всего двенадцать селений получили по жребию остальные потомки колена Левия из рода Мерари.

41 Всего левиты получили во владениях израильтян сорок восемь селений с окрестными пастбищами.

42 Каждое из этих селений и каждый город были окружены пастбищными угодьями.

43 ГОСПОДЬ отдал израильтянам всю ту страну, которую Он клятвенно обещал праотцам их. Завладев этой страной, израильтяне поселились в ней,

44 и ГОСПОДЬ даровал им покой во всех их владениях, как Он клятвенно обещал праотцам их. Никакой враг не мог противостоять израильтянам — ГОСПОДЬ отдал всех врагов в их руки.

45 И не осталось не исполненным ни одно из обещаний, которые ГОСПОДЬ дал потомкам Израиля, — всё исполнилось в точности.

8 And the children1121 of Israel3478 gave5414 by lot1486 unto the Levites3881 853 these428 cities5892 with854 their suburbs,4054 as834 the LORD3068 commanded6680 by the hand3027 of Moses.4872

42 These428 cities5892 were1961 every one5892 5892 with their suburbs4054 round about5439 them: thus3651 were all3605 these428 cities.5892
