Глава 11

1 Любите Вечного, своего Бога, и всегда соблюдайте Его требования, установления, законы и повеления.

2 Я не обращаюсь к вашим детям, которые не знали и не видели наказания Вечного, вашего Бога. Вспомните сегодня Его величие, Его могучую и простёртую руку,

3 знамения и чудеса, которые Он сотворил в Египте с фараоном, царём Египта, и со всей его страной,

4 то, что Он сделал с египетским войском, с его конями и колесницами, как Он утопил их в водах Тростникового моря, когда они гнались за вами, и как Вечный погубил их.

5 Ваши дети не видели то, что Он сделал для вас в пустыне, пока вы не пришли сюда,

6 и что Он совершил с Датаном и Авирамом, сыновьями рувимита Элиава, когда земля разверзлась прямо посреди народа Исраила и поглотила их с их семьями, шатрами и всеми живыми существами, которые им принадлежали.

7 Ваши собственные глаза видели все великие дела, которые совершил Вечный.

8 Итак, соблюдайте все повеления, которые я даю вам сегодня, чтобы быть сильными, войти в землю, куда вы идёте, и завладеть ею,

9 и чтобы долго жить на земле, которую Вечный клялся отдать вашим предкам и их потомкам, на земле, где течёт молоко и мёд.

15 Я дам вам богатые пастбища для скота, и вы будете есть и насыщаться.

16 Берегитесь, иначе вы соблазнитесь и, уклонившись, станете служить другим богам и будете поклоняться им.

17 Тогда гнев Вечного вспыхнет против вас, и Он запрёт небеса, и не будет дождя, и земля не станет приносить урожай, и вы вскоре будете истреблены с благодатной земли, которую даёт вам Вечный.

18 Сохраните Мои слова в сердцах и умах; навяжите их как напоминания на руку и обвяжите ими лбы.

19 Учите им своих детей, говорите о них, когда сидите дома и когда идёте по дороге, когда ложитесь спать и когда встаёте.

20 Напишите их на дверных косяках и на воротах своего дома,

21 чтобы вы и ваши дети прожили на земле, которую Вечный клялся дать вашим предкам, столько дней, сколько небеса находятся над землёй.

22 Если вы будете тщательно соблюдать все повеления, которые я даю вам, чтобы вы им следовали, – любить Вечного, вашего Бога, ходить всеми путями Его и хранить верность Ему, –

23 то Вечный прогонит от вас все другие народы, и вы выселите тех, кто многочисленнее и сильнее вас.

24 Любая земля, куда ступит ваша нога, станет вашей: ваша земля будет простираться от пустыни до Ливана, от реки Евфрата до Средиземного моря. .

25 Никто не в силах будет противостоять вам. Вечный, ваш Бог, как Он и обещал вам, наведёт страх и ужас перед вами на всю землю, где бы вы ни шли.

26 Смотрите, сегодня я предлагаю вам благословение и проклятие.

27 Благословение, если вы будете слушаться повелений Вечного, вашего Бога, которые я даю вам сегодня.

28 А проклятие, если вы не будете слушаться повелений Вечного, вашего Бога, свернёте с пути, который я указываю вам, и пойдёте за другими богами, которых не знали раньше.

29 Когда Вечный, ваш Бог, введёт вас в землю, в которую вы идёте, чтобы завладеть ею, вы должны провозгласить там, на горе Геризим, благословения, а на горе Гевал – проклятия.

7 But your eyes5869 have seen7200 all3605 the great1419 acts4639 of the LORD3068 which834 he did.6213

8 Therefore shall you keep8104 all3605 the commandments4687 which834 I command6680 you this day,3117 that you may be strong,2388 and go935 in and possess3423 the land,776 where834 8033 you go5674 to possess3423 it;

9 And that you may prolong748 your days3117 in the land,127 which834 the LORD3068 swore7650 to your fathers1 to give5414 to them and to their seed,2233 a land776 that flows2100 with milk2461 and honey.1706

10 For the land,776 where834 8033 you go935 in to possess3423 it, is not as the land776 of Egypt,4714 from from where834 8033 you came3318 out, where834 you sowed2232 your seed,2233 and watered8248 it with your foot,7272 as a garden1588 of herbs:3419

11 But the land,776 where834 8033 you go to possess3423 it, is a land776 of hills2022 and valleys,1237 and drinks8354 water4325 of the rain4306 of heaven:8064

12 A land776 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 cares1875 for: the eyes5869 of the LORD3068 your God430 are always8548 on it, from the beginning7225 of the year8141 even to the end319 of the year.8141

13 And it shall come1961 to pass, if518 you shall listen8085 diligently to my commandments4687 which834 I command6680 you this day,3117 to love157 the LORD3068 your God,430 and to serve5647 him with all3605 your heart3824 and with all3605 your soul,5315

14 That I will give5414 you the rain4306 of your land776 in his due season,6256 the first3138 rain4456 and the latter4456 rain,3138 that you may gather622 in your corn,1715 and your wine,8492 and your oil.3323

15 And I will send5414 grass6212 in your fields7704 for your cattle,929 that you may eat398 and be full.7646

16 Take heed8104 to yourselves, that your heart3824 be not deceived,6601 and you turn5493 aside, and serve5647 other312 gods,430 and worship7812 them;

17 And then the LORD's3068 wrath639 be kindled2734 against you, and he shut6113 up the heaven,8064 that there be no3808 rain,4306 and that the land127 yield5414 not her fruit;2981 and lest you perish6 quickly4120 from off5921 the good2896 land776 which834 the LORD3068 gives5414 you.

18 Therefore shall you lay7760 up these429 my words1697 in your heart3824 and in your soul,5315 and bind7194 them for a sign226 on your hand,3027 that they may be as frontlets2903 between996 your eyes.5869

19 And you shall teach3925 them your children,1121 speaking1696 of them when you sit3427 in your house,1004 and when you walk3212 by the way,1870 when you lie7901 down, and when you rise6965 up.

20 And you shall write3789 them on the door4201 posts4201 of your house,1004 and on your gates:8179

21 That your days3117 may be multiplied,7235 and the days3117 of your children,1121 in the land127 which834 the LORD3068 swore7650 to your fathers1 to give5414 them, as the days3117 of heaven8064 on the earth.776

22 For if518 you shall diligently keep8104 all3605 these2063 commandments4687 which834 I command6680 you, to do6213 them, to love157 the LORD3068 your God,430 to walk3212 in all3605 his ways,1870 and to join1692 to him;

23 Then will the LORD3068 drive3423 out all3605 these428 nations1471 from before6440 you, and you shall possess3423 greater1419 nations1471 and mightier6099 than yourselves.

24 Every3605 place4725 where on834 the soles3709 of your feet7272 shall tread1869 shall be yours: from the wilderness4057 and Lebanon,3844 from the river,5104 the river5104 Euphrates,6578 even to the uttermost314 sea3220 shall your coast1366 be.

25 There shall no3808 man376 be able3320 to stand3320 before6440 you: for the LORD3068 your God430 shall lay5414 the fear6343 of you and the dread4172 of you on all3605 the land776 that you shall tread1869 on, as he has said1696 to you.

26 Behold,7200 I set5414 before6440 you this day3117 a blessing1293 and a curse;7045

27 A blessing,1293 if834 you obey8085 the commandments4687 of the LORD3068 your God,430 which834 I command6680 you this day:3117

29 And it shall come1961 to pass, when3588 the LORD3068 your God430 has brought935 you in to the land776 where834 8033 you go935 to possess3423 it, that you shall put5414 the blessing1293 on mount2022 Gerizim,1630 and the curse7045 on mount2022 Ebal.5858

30 Are they not on the other5676 side5676 Jordan,3383 by the way1870 where the sun8121 goes3996 down,3996 in the land776 of the Canaanites,3669 which dwell3427 in the desert6160 over4136 against4136 Gilgal,1537 beside681 the plains436 of Moreh?4176

31 For you shall pass5674 over5674 Jordan3383 to go935 in to possess3423 the land776 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 gives5414 you, and you shall possess3423 it, and dwell3427 therein.

32 And you shall observe8104 to do6213 all3605 the statutes2706 and judgments4941 which834 I set5414 before6440 you this day.3117
