1 Как помрачил во гневе Своем Господь дщерь Сиона! с небес на землю поверг красу Израилеву, и не вспомнил о подножии Своем в день гнева Своего.

2 Погубил Господь без пощады все жилища Иакова; в ярости Своей разрушил укрепления дщери Иудиной, поверг на землю, унизил царство и князей его.

2 The LORD136 has swallowed1104 up all3605 the habitations4999 of Jacob,3290 and has not pitied:2550 he has thrown2040 down2040 in his wrath5678 the strong4013 holds4013 of the daughter1323 of Judah;3063 he has brought5060 them down to the ground:776 he has polluted2490 the kingdom4467 and the princes8269 thereof.

3 В пылу гнева сломил все роги Израилевы, отклонил десницу Свою от неприятеля, и горел в Иакове, как огонь палящий, пожравший все вокруг.

3 He has cut1438 off in his fierce2750 anger639 all3605 the horn7161 of Israel:3478 he has drawn7725 back268 his right3225 hand3225 from before6440 the enemy,341 and he burned1197 against Jacob3290 like a flaming3852 fire,784 which devours398 round5439 about.

4 Он натянул лук Свой, как неприятель, десница Его была как враг, и Он убил все приятное для очей, на скинию дщери Сиона излил ярость Свою, как огонь.

4 He has bent1869 his bow7198 like an enemy:341 he stood5324 with his right3225 hand3225 as an adversary,6862 and slew2026 all3605 that were pleasant4262 to the eye5869 in the tabernacle168 of the daughter1323 of Zion:6726 he poured8210 out his fury2534 like fire.784

5 Господь сделался неприятелем, истребил Израиля, разорил все чертоги его, разрушил укрепления его, и распространил у дщери Иудиной плач и вой.

5 The LORD136 was as an enemy:341 he has swallowed1104 up Israel,3478 he has swallowed1104 up all3605 her palaces:759 he has destroyed7843 his strong4013 holds,4013 and has increased7235 in the daughter1323 of Judah3063 mourning8386 and lamentation.592

6 И отнял у него ограду, как у сада; разорил место собраний его; заставил Иегова забыть на Сионе празднества и субботы; и в пылу гнева Своего отверг царя и священника.

6 And he has violently2554 taken away his tabernacle,7900 as if it were of a garden:1588 he has destroyed7843 his places of the assembly:4150 the LORD3068 has caused the solemn4150 feasts4150 and sabbaths7676 to be forgotten7911 in Zion,6726 and has despised5006 in the indignation2195 of his anger639 the king4428 and the priest.3548

7 Возгнушался Господь жертвенником Своим, презрел святилище Свое, предал в руки врагам стены чертогов его; в доме Божием они шумели, как в праздничный день.

7 The LORD136 has cast2186 off his altar,4196 he has abhorred5010 his sanctuary,4720 he has given5462 up into the hand3027 of the enemy341 the walls2346 of her palaces;759 they have made5414 a noise6963 in the house1004 of the LORD,3068 as in the day3117 of a solemn4150 feast.4150

8 Решился Иегова разрушить стену дщери Сиона, протянул вервь, не отклонил руки Своей от разорения, и наложил сетование на вал и стену; все уныло.

8 The LORD3068 has purposed2803 to destroy7843 the wall2346 of the daughter1323 of Zion:6726 he has stretched5186 out a line,6957 he has not withdrawn7725 his hand3027 from destroying:1104 therefore he made the rampart2426 and the wall2346 to lament;56 they languished535 together.3162

9 Врата ее вросли в землю, Он раскидал и разломал затворы ее; царь ее и князья ее у язычников; нет откровения, и пророки ее не получают видений от Иеговы.

9 Her gates8179 are sunk2883 into the ground;776 he has destroyed6 and broken7665 her bars:1280 her king4428 and her princes8269 are among the Gentiles:1471 the law8451 is no369 more; her prophets5030 also1571 find4672 no3808 vision2377 from the LORD.3068

10 Сидят на земле, безмолвствуют старцы дщери Сионовой, пылью осыпали свою главу, опоясались власяницами, поникли к земле головою своею девицы иерусалимские.

10 The elders2205 of the daughter1323 of Zion6726 sit3427 on the ground,776 and keep silence:1826 they have cast5927 up dust6083 on their heads;7218 they have girded2296 themselves with sackcloth:8242 the virgins1330 of Jerusalem3389 hang3381 down3381 their heads7218 to the ground.776

11 Истомились от слез очи мои, кипит во мне внутренность, льется на землю печень моя, при виде гибели дщери народа моего; там ребенок и грудное дитя умирают с голоду среди городских улиц,

11 My eyes5869 do fail3615 with tears,1832 my bowels4578 are troubled,2560 my liver3516 is poured8210 on the earth,776 for the destruction7667 of the daughter1323 of my people;5971 because the children5768 and the sucklings3243 swoon5848 in the streets7339 of the city.7151

12 Говорят матерям своим: `где хлеб и вино`? лежа в изнеможении, как раненый, на улицах городских, изливая души свои в недро матерей своих.

12 They say559 to their mothers,517 Where346 is corn1715 and wine?3196 when they swooned5848 as the wounded2491 in the streets7339 of the city,5892 when their soul5315 was poured8210 out into413 their mothers'517 bosom.2436

13 Что мне сказать тебе, с чем сравнить тебя, дщерь Иерусалима? чему уподобить тебя, и чем, утешить тебя, девица, дочь Сиона? ибо страдание твое велико как море; кто может исцелить тебя?

13 What4100 thing shall I take to witness5749 for you? what4100 thing shall I liken1819 to you, O daughter1323 of Jerusalem?3389 what4100 shall I equal7737 to you, that I may comfort5162 you, O virgin1330 daughter1323 of Zion?6726 for your breach7667 is great1419 like the sea:3220 who4310 can heal7495 you?

14 Пророки твои пророчествовали тебе ложное и нелепое, а беззаконие твое не раскрывали, чтоб отклонить твое пленение, и пророчески изрекали тебе речи пустые и обольстительные.
|
14 Your prophets5030 have seen2372 vain7723 and foolish8602 things for you: and they have not discovered1540 your iniquity,5771 to turn7725 away your captivity;7622 but have seen2372 for you false7723 burdens4864 and causes of banishment.4065

15 Руками всплеснут о тебе все проходящие путем, свистнут и покачают головою своею о дщери Иерусалима: `это ли город, который назывался верх красоты, веселие всей земли`?

15 All3605 that pass5674 by clap5606 their hands3709 at5921 you; they hiss8319 and wag5128 their head7218 at5921 the daughter1323 of Jerusalem,3389 saying, Is this2088 the city5892 that men call559 The perfection3632 of beauty,3308 The joy4885 of the whole3605 earth?776

16 Разинули на тебя пасть свою все враги твои, свистят и скрежещут зубами, говорят: `поглотили мы, только этого дня и ждали, дождались, увидели!`
|
16 All3605 your enemies341 have opened6475 their mouth6310 against5921 you: they hiss8319 and gnash2786 the teeth:8127 they say,559 We have swallowed1104 her up: certainly389 this2088 is the day3117 that we looked6960 for; we have found,4672 we have seen7200 it.

17 Исполнил Иегова, что замышлял, совершил слово Свое, предреченное в древние дни, разорил без пощады, и дал врагу порадоваться о тебе, поднял роги неприятелям твоим.
|
17 The LORD3068 has done6213 that which834 he had devised;2161 he has fulfilled1214 his word565 that he had commanded6680 in the days3117 of old:6924 he has thrown2040 down,2040 and has not pitied:2550 and he has caused your enemy341 to rejoice8055 over5921 you, he has set7311 up the horn7161 of your adversaries.6862

18 Сердце их вопиет ко Господу: стена дщери Сиона! лей ручьем слезы день и ночь, не давай себе покоя, пусть не умолкает зеница ока твоего.

18 Their heart3820 cried6817 to the LORD,136 O wall2346 of the daughter1323 of Zion,6726 let tears1832 run3381 down like a river5158 day3119 and night:3915 give5414 yourself no408 rest;6314 let not the apple1323 of your eye5869 cease.1826

19 Вставай, рыдай по ночам, при начале всякой стражи; изливай, как воду, сердце твое пред лицем Господа; простирай к Нему руки свои, умоляя о душе детей твоих, издыхающих от голода, при начале всех стогн.

19 Arise,6965 cry7442 out in the night:3915 in the beginning7218 of the watches821 pour8210 out your heart3820 like water4325 before5227 the face6440 of the LORD:136 lift5375 up your hands3709 toward5921 him for the life5315 of your young children, that faint5848 for hunger7457 in the top7218 of every3605 street.2351

20 `Воззри, Иегова! и посмотри, с кем Ты так поступаешь; можно ли есть женщинам плод свой, младенцев, на руках ими носимых? Можно ли убивать в святилище Господнем священника и пророка?

20 Behold,7200 O LORD,3068 and consider5027 to whom4310 you have done5953 this.3541 Shall the women802 eat398 their fruit,6529 and children5768 of a span2949 long? shall the priest3548 and the prophet5030 be slain2026 in the sanctuary4720 of the Lord?136

21 Лежали на земле по стогнам малые и старые; девицы мои и юноши мои падали от меча; Ты убивал в день гнева Твоего, закалал без пощады.
|
21 The young5288 and the old2205 lie7901 on the ground776 in the streets:2351 my virgins1330 and my young970 men are fallen5307 by the sword;2719 you have slain2026 them in the day3117 of your anger;639 you have killed,2873 and not pitied.2550

22 Ты созвал все ужасающее меня, как на праздник, отвсюду; и в день гнева Иеговы не осталось спасшегося и уцелевшего, кого бы мне на руках носить и воспитывать, враг мой истребил их`.
|
22 You have called7121 as in a solemn4150 day3117 my terrors4032 round5439 about, so that in the day3117 of the LORD's3068 anger639 none3808 escaped6412 nor remained:8300 those that I have swaddled2946 and brought7235 up has my enemy341 consumed.3615
