1 На ложе моем, по ночам, я искала Того, Которого любит душа моя; искала Его, и не нашла Его.

2 Встану я, и пойду по городу; на улицах и площадях поищу Того, Которого любит душа моя. Я искала Его, и не нашла Его.

3 Нашли меня стражи, ходящие по городу. Того, Которого любит душа моя, видели вы?

4 Немного отошла от них, как и нашла Того, Которого любит душа моя. Ухватилась за Него, и не отпустила Его, доколе не ввела в дом матери моей, и в покой родительницы моей. -

6 Кто сия, восходящая от пустыни, как столпы дыма, напоенная благовониями от смирны и ливана, от всяких порошков продающего миро?

7 Вот одр Его, Соломонов: вокруг его шестьдесят храбрых, из храбрых Израилевых.

7 Behold2009 his bed,4296 which is Solomon's;7945 8010 threescore8346 valiant men1368 are about5439 it, of the valiant4480 1368 of Israel.3478

8 Все они держат по мечу, опытные в битве; у каждого меч свой при бедре его, для охранения от ужаса по ночам.

9 Царь Соломон сделал себе носильный одр из древ Ливанских.

10 Ножки его сделал из серебра, локотки его из золота, седалище его из пурпуровой ткани, внутренность его устлана возлюбленною из дщерей Иерусалима.

11 Дщери Сиона, пойдите и посмотрите на Царя Соломона в венке, которым венчала Его матерь Его, в день бракосочетания Его, и в день веселия сердца Его. -
