Глава 25

1 И было ко мне слово Иеговы, и сказано:

2 Сын человеческий! обратись лицем своим к сынам Аммоновым, и изреки на них пророчество.

3 И скажи сынам Аммоновым: слушайте слово Господа Иеговы: так говорит Господь Иегова: поелику ты о святилище Моем говоришь: а! а! потому что оно осквернено, - и о земле Израилевой, потому что она опустошена, и о доме Иудином, потому что они пошли на поселение;

4 За то вот Я отдам тебя во владение сынам востока, и построят у тебя дворы свои, и поставят у тебя шатры свои. Они будут есть плоды твои, и они будут пить молоко твое.

5 И отдам Раббу на стойло верблюдам, и землю сынов Аммоновых на пажить овцам, и узнаете, что Я Иегова.

6 Ибо так говорит Господь Иегова: поелику ты рукоплескал и топал ногою, и со всем злорадством своим душевно радовался, смотря на землю Израилеву,

7 За то вот Я простру руку Мою на тебя, и отдам тебя на расхищение народам и истреблю тебя из числа народов, и изглажу тебя из числа земель; погублю тебя, и узнаешь, что Я Иегова.

8 Так говорит Господь Иегова: поелику Моав с Сеиром говорят: `вот и дом Иудин то же, что все народы!`

9 За то, вот Я, начиная от городов, от самого предела его, от городов его, составляющих красу земли, от Бет-Иешимофа, Ваал-Меона и Кириафаима, открою бока Моава,

10 Наравне с сынами Аммоновыми, сынам востока; и отдам его во владение им, чтоб имя Аммонитян не упоминалось среди народов.

11 И над Моавом совершу суды, и узнают, что Я Иегова.

12 Так говорит Господь Иегова: поелику Едом мстительски поступил с домом Иудиным, и, совершая над ним мщение, много согрешил;

13 За то, так говорит Господь Иегова: и простру руку Мою на Едома, и истреблю у них людей и скот, и сделаю из него пустыню, начиная от Фемана, и в Дедане от меча падут.

14 И совершу мщение Мое над Едомом, рукою народа Моего, Израиля; и они будут действовать в Идумее по мере Моего гнева и Моего негодования, чтобы они узнали мщение Мое, говорит Господь Иегова.

15 Так говорит Господь Иегова: поелику Филистимляне поступили мстительски, и мстили с злорадством, от всей души, на погибель, из неприязни вечной:

16 За то, так говорит Господь Иегова: вот Я простру руку Мою на Филистимлян, и истреблю Критян, и погублю остаток морского берега.

17 И совершу над ними великое мщение наказаниями гнева; и узнают, что Я Иегова, когда совершу над ними Мое мщение.

1 THE word of the LORD came to me, saying,

2 Son of man, set your face toward the Ammonites and prophesy against them;

3 And say to the Ammonites, Hear the word of the LORD God: Thus says the LORD God: Because you said, Aha, against my sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was laid waste, and over the house of Judah when they went into captivity;

4 Behold, therefore I will deliver you to the men of the east for a possession, and their army shall dwell in you and pitch their tents in you; they shall eat your fruit and they shall drink your milk.

5 And I will make Rabbath a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a fold for flocks, and you shall know that I am the LORD.

6 For thus says the LORD God: Because you have clapped your hands and stamped with your feet and rejoiced in yourself against the land of Israel;

7 Therefore, thus says the LORD God: I will stretch out my hand against you and will deliver you for a spoil to the nations; and I will cut you off from among the people, and I will destroy you out of the cities, and will make you desolate, and you shall know that I am the LORD.

8 Thus says the LORD God: Because Moab and Seir have said, Behold, the house of Judah is dispersed among all the nations;

9 Therefore, behold, I will make a breach in Moab at the cities, at his royal city, at the towns round about him, the glory of the country of Beth-ashimon, Baal-meon, and Koriathaim,

10 And I will give them, together with the Ammonites, to the men of the east as a possession, so that Rabbath of the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations.

11 And I will execute judgment upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

12 Thus says the LORD God: Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and had ill-will toward them and envied them;

13 Therefore thus says the LORD God: Behold, I will stretch out my hand against Edom, and will destroy both man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman to Deran; and they shall fall by the sword.

14 And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall avenge themselves from Edom according to my anger and my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, says the LORD God.

15 Thus says the LORD God: Because the Philistines have taken vengeance, and have revenged themselves with satisfaction of their heart, thus destroying the friendship of old;

16 Therefore thus says the LORD God: Behold, I will stretch out my hand against the Philistines, and I will destroy Crete and lay waste the remnant of the seacoast.

17 And I will execute my great vengeance upon them with rebukes and anger; and they shall know that I am the LORD when I have executed my vengeance upon them.

3 And say to the Ammonites, Hear the word of the LORD God: Thus says the LORD God: Because you said, Aha, against my sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was laid waste, and over the house of Judah when they went into captivity;

4 За то вот Я отдам тебя во владение сынам востока, и построят у тебя дворы свои, и поставят у тебя шатры свои. Они будут есть плоды твои, и они будут пить молоко твое.

8 Thus says the LORD God: Because Moab and Seir have said, Behold, the house of Judah is dispersed among all the nations;

9 За то, вот Я, начиная от городов, от самого предела его, от городов его, составляющих красу земли, от Бет-Иешимофа, Ваал-Меона и Кириафаима, открою бока Моава,

13 За то, так говорит Господь Иегова: и простру руку Мою на Едома, и истреблю у них людей и скот, и сделаю из него пустыню, начиная от Фемана, и в Дедане от меча падут.

14 И совершу мщение Мое над Едомом, рукою народа Моего, Израиля; и они будут действовать в Идумее по мере Моего гнева и Моего негодования, чтобы они узнали мщение Мое, говорит Господь Иегова.

14 And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall avenge themselves from Edom according to my anger and my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, says the LORD God.

15 Так говорит Господь Иегова: поелику Филистимляне поступили мстительски, и мстили с злорадством, от всей души, на погибель, из неприязни вечной:
