Глава 42

1 Тогда ответил Господу Иов:

2 «Я знаю, Господи, Ты можешь всё, Ты строишь Свои планы, и ничто их не может изменить.

3 Ты, Господи, вопрос мне задал: „Кто этот человек, который бессмысленные слова говорит?” Господь, я говорил о том, что слишком велико для моего рассудка, я этого не понимал.

4 Ты мне сказал: „Иов, послушай, Я буду спрашивать тебя, и ты ответь”.

5 Я в прошлом слышал о Тебе, Господь, теперь же видел я Тебя воочию.

6 Мне стыдно за себя, Господь, я очень сожалею! Сижу в пыли и пепле я, но обещаю изменить и жизнь, и сердце».

7 Господь, закончив говорить с Иовом, обратился к Елифазу из Феману. Господь сказал Елифазу: «Я рассержен на тебя и твоих двух друзей, потому что ты ничего не сказал правильного обо Мне. Однако Иов — Мой слуга, он сказал обо Мне всё верно.

8 Так что теперь, Елифаз, возьми семь быков и семь баранов и отнеси их Моему слуге Иову, убей их и воздай как жертву всесожжения за себя. Мой раб Иов будет молиться за вас, и Я отвечу молитве его. Я не накажу вас по заслугам, хотя вы должны быть наказаны, потому что вы ничего правильного обо Мне не сказали, но Мой слуга Иов сказал всё верно».

9 Так что Елифаз из Фемана, Билдад из Шуаха и Софар из Наамаха подчинились Господу, и тогда Господь услышал молитву Иова.

10 Иов молился за своих друзей, и Бог его снова сделал удачливым и дал ему вдвое больше того, чем владел он прежде.

11 Все братья и сестры вернулись в дом Иова, и каждый, кто знал Иова прежде, пришёл в его дом и ел с ним вместе. Они утешали его и испытывали сожаление, что Бог принёс Иову столько несчастий. После этого каждый дал Иову немного серебра и золотое кольцо.

12 Господь благословил последние дни Иова, дав ему гораздо больше, чем в первой половине его жизни. У Иова было четырнадцать тысяч овец, шесть тысяч верблюдов, две тысячи коров и тысяча ослиц.

13 Было у него также семь сыновей и три дочери.

14 Первую дочь Иов назвал Емима, вторую дочь — Кассия, а третью — Керенгаппух.

15 Дочери Иова были самыми красивыми женщинами во всей стране. Они, так же как и их братья, получили часть наследства.

16 И жил Иов ещё сто сорок лет, он увидел своих детей, внуков, правнуков и праправнуков.

17 Иов дожил до глубокой старости. Он умер, прожив достойную жизнь.

Chapter 42

1 Then Job347 answered6030 the LORD,3068 and said,559

2 I know3045 that you can3201 do every3605 thing, and that no3808 thought4209 can be withheld1219 from you.

3 Who4310 is he that hides5956 counsel6098 without1097 knowledge?1847 therefore3651 have I uttered5046 that I understood995 not; things too wonderful6381 for me, which I knew3045 not.

4 Hear,8085 I beseech4994 you, and I will speak:1696 I will demand7592 of you, and declare3045 you to me.

5 I have heard8085 of you by the hearing8088 of the ear:241 but now6258 my eye5869 sees7200 you.

6 Why5921 3651 I abhor3988 myself, and repent5162 in dust6083 and ashes.665

7 And it was so, that after310 the LORD3068 had spoken1696 these428 words1697 to Job,347 the LORD3068 said559 to Eliphaz464 the Temanite,8489 My wrath639 is kindled2734 against you, and against your two8147 friends:7453 for you have not spoken1696 of me the thing that is right,3559 as my servant5650 Job347 has.

8 Therefore take3947 to you now6258 seven7651 bullocks6499 and seven7651 rams,352 and go3212 to my servant5650 Job,347 and offer5927 up for yourselves a burnt5930 offering; and my servant5650 Job347 shall pray6419 for you: for him will I accept:5375 lest1115 I deal6213 with you after your folly,5039 in that you have not spoken1696 of me the thing which is right,3559 like my servant5650 Job.347

9 So Eliphaz464 the Temanite8489 and Bildad1085 the Shuhite7747 and Zophar6691 the Naamathite5284 went,3212 and did6213 according as the LORD3068 commanded1696 them: the LORD3068 also accepted5375 Job.347

10 And the LORD3068 turned7725 the captivity7622 of Job,347 when he prayed6419 for his friends:7453 also the LORD3068 gave3254 Job347 twice4932 as much637 as he had before.

11 Then came935 there to him all3605 his brothers,251 and all3605 his sisters,269 and all3605 they that had been of his acquaintance3045 before,6440 and did eat398 bread3899 with him in his house:1004 and they bemoaned5110 him, and comforted5162 him over5921 all3605 the evil7451 that the LORD3068 had brought935 on him: every man376 also gave5414 him a piece of money,7192 and every376 one376 an earring5141 of gold.2091

12 So the LORD3068 blessed1288 the latter319 end of Job347 more than his beginning:7225 for he had1961 fourteen702 6246 thousand505 sheep,6629 and six8337 thousand505 camels,1581 and a thousand505 yoke6776 of oxen,1241 and a thousand505 she asses.860

13 He had1961 also seven7658 sons1121 and three7969 daughters.1323

14 And he called7121 the name8034 of the first,7223 Jemima;3224 and the name8034 of the second,8145 Kezia;7103 and the name8034 of the third,7992 Kerenhappuch.7163

15 And in all3605 the land776 were no3808 women802 found4672 so fair3303 as the daughters1323 of Job:347 and their father1 gave5414 them inheritance5159 among8432 their brothers.251

16 After310 this2063 lived2421 Job347 an hundred3967 and forty705 years,8141 and saw7200 his sons,1121 and his sons'1121 sons,1121 even four702 generations.1755

17 So Job347 died,4191 being old2205 and full7646 of days.3117

7 Господь, закончив говорить с Иовом, обратился к Елифазу из Феману. Господь сказал Елифазу: «Я рассержен на тебя и твоих двух друзей, потому что ты ничего не сказал правильного обо Мне. Однако Иов — Мой слуга, он сказал обо Мне всё верно.

7 And it was so, that after310 the LORD3068 had spoken1696 these428 words1697 to Job,347 the LORD3068 said559 to Eliphaz464 the Temanite,8489 My wrath639 is kindled2734 against you, and against your two8147 friends:7453 for you have not spoken1696 of me the thing that is right,3559 as my servant5650 Job347 has.

13 Было у него также семь сыновей и три дочери.

13 He had1961 also seven7658 sons1121 and three7969 daughters.1323

15 Дочери Иова были самыми красивыми женщинами во всей стране. Они, так же как и их братья, получили часть наследства.
