Псалом 111

1 Восхваляй Господа! Блажен тот, кто боится Бога и счастье находит в заповедях Его.

2 Дети его обретут могущество на земле; все праведные унаследуют Его благословение.

3 В доме его будут изобилие и богатство, и не иссякнет его доброта.

4 Для тех, кто праведен, милосерден, добр и милостив, свет во тьме всегда горит.

5 Жизнь хороша у того, кто щедр, кто деньги людям в долг даёт. Всё хорошо у того, кто дело своё ведёт справедливо.

6 Потрясения его не коснутся никогда, не будут забыты праведные.

7 Такому ни бед не будет, ни новостей плохих, стойко его сердце, полное веры в Бога.

8 Сердце его не дрогнет и не изведает страха, поэтому врага он сокрушит.

9 Дары он бедным раздаёт, праведность его пребудет вечно.

10 Увидев это, придут злые в ярость, но исчезнут, скрипя зубами. Желаниям злобных не сбыться никогда!

Psalm 111

1 PRAISE the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

3 His works are great and glorious, and his righteousness endures for ever.

4 He has made his wonderful works to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

5 He has given food to them that revere him; he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

6 He has shown his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the Gentiles.

7 The works of his hands are truth and justice, and they endure for ever and ever.

8 All his commandments are sure, and are done in righteousness and truth.

9 He has sent salvation to his people; his covenant shall be remembered for ever; holy and revered is his name.

10 The reverence of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all they that do his commandments; his praise endures for ever.
