2 через Якого ми вірою одержали доступ до тієї благода́ті, що в ній стоїмо́, і хва́лимось наді́єю слави Божої. |
|
3 І не тільки нею, але й хвалимося в утисках, знаючи, що утиски приносять терпели́вість, |
|
4 а терпеливість — до́свід, а досвід — надію, |
|
5 а надія не засоро́мить, бо любов Божа вилилася в наші серця Святим Духом, даним нам. |
|
6 Бо Христос, коли ми були́ ще недужі, своєї пори помер за нечестивих. |
|
7 Бо навряд чи помре хто за праведника, ще бо за доброго може хто й відважиться вмерти. |
|
8 А Бог дово́дить Свою любов до нас тим, що Христос умер за нас, коли ми були́ ще грішниками. |
|
9 Тож тим більше спасемося Ним від гніву тепер, коли кров'ю Його ми ви́правдані. |
|
10 Бо коли ми, бувши ворогами, примирилися з Богом через смерть Сина Його, то тим більше, примирившися, спасе́мося життя́м Його. |
|
11 І не тільки це, але й хва́лимося в Бозі через Господа нашого Ісуса Христа, що через Нього оде́ржали ми тепер прими́рення. |
|
12 |
|
13 Гріх бо був у світі й до Зако́ну, але гріх не ста́виться в прови́ну, коли немає Зако́ну. |
|
14 Та смерть панувала від Ада́ма аж до Мойсея і над тими, хто не згрішив, подібно переступу Ада́ма, який є образ майбу́тнього. |
|
15 Але не такий дар благода́ті, як пере́ступ. Бо коли за пере́ступ одно́го померло багато, то тим більш благода́ть Божа й дар через благода́ть однієї Люди́ни, Ісуса Христа, щедро спливли́ на багатьох. |
|
16 І дар не такий, як те, що сталось від одно́го, що згрішив; бо суд за оди́н про́гріх — на о́суд, а дар благода́ті — на ви́правдання від багатьох про́гріхів. |
|
17 Бо коли за пере́ступ одно́го смерть панувала через одно́го, то тим більше ті, хто приймає рясноту́ благода́ті й дар праведности, запанують у житті через одно́го Ісуса Христа. |
|
18 Ось тому́, як через пере́ступ одно́го на всіх людей прийшов о́суд, так і через праведність Одно́го прийшло ви́правдания для життя на всіх людей. |
|
19 Бо як через непо́слух одно́го чоловіка багато-хто стали грішними, так і через по́слух Одно́го багато-хто стануть праведними. |
|
20 Зако́н же прийшов, щоб збільши́вся пере́ступ. А де збільши́вся гріх, там зарясніла благодать, |
|
21 щоб, як гріх панував через смерть, так само й благода́ть запанувала через праведність для життя вічного Ісусом Христом, Господом нашим. |

|
1 THEREFORE, being justified by faith, let us have peace with God through our LORD Jesus Christ; |
|
2 Through him we have been brought by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and are proud in the hope of the glory of God. |
|
3 And not only so, but we also glory in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation perfects patience in us; |
|
4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: |
|
5 And hope causes no one to be ashamed; because the love of God is poured in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given to us. |
|
6 But Christ at this time, because of our weaknesses, died for the sake of the wicked. |
|
7 Hardly would any man die for the sake of the wicked: * but for the sake of the good, one might be willing to die. |
|
8 God has here manifested his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. |
|
9 Much more then, being justified by his blood, we shall be delivered from wrath through him. |
|
10 For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. |
|
11 And not only so, but we also glory in God through our LORD Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the reconciliation. |
|
12 Just as sin entered into the world by one man, and death by means of sin, so death was imposed upon all men, inasmuch as they all have sinned: |
|
13 For until the law was given, though sin was in the world, it was not considered sin, because there was no law. |
|
14 Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them who had not sinned in the manner of the transgression of the law by Adam, who is the likeness of him that was to come. |
|
15 But the measure of the gift of God was not the measure of the fall. If therefore, because of the fall of one, many died, how much more will the grace and gift of God, because of one man, Jesus Christ, be increased ? |
|
16 And the effect of the gift of God was greater than the effect of the offence of Adam: for while the judgment from one man's offence resulted in condemnation of many, the gift of God in forgiveness of sins resulted in righteousness to many more. |
|
17 For if by one man's offence, death reigned, how much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. |
|
18 In like manner as by one man's offence, condemnation came upon all men, even so by the righteousness of one man, will the victory unto life be to all men. |
|
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one man, shall many be made righteous. |
|
20 The introduction of the law caused sin to increase, and when sin had increased, grace became abundant. |
|
21 Just as sin had reigned through death, so grace shall reign through righteousness unto eternal life by our LORD Jesus Christ. |

2 Through him we have been brought by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and are proud in the hope of the glory of God. |
|

13 Гріх бо був у світі й до Зако́ну, але гріх не ста́виться в прови́ну, коли немає Зако́ну. |

14 Та смерть панувала від Ада́ма аж до Мойсея і над тими, хто не згрішив, подібно переступу Ада́ма, який є образ майбу́тнього. |

15 Але не такий дар благода́ті, як пере́ступ. Бо коли за пере́ступ одно́го померло багато, то тим більш благода́ть Божа й дар через благода́ть однієї Люди́ни, Ісуса Христа, щедро спливли́ на багатьох. |
