2 A fool3684 has no3808 delight2654 in understanding,8394 but that his heart3820 may discover1540 itself.

3 When the wicked7563 comes,935 then comes935 also1571 contempt,937 and with ignominy7036 reproach.2781

4 The words1697 of a man's376 mouth6310 are as deep6013 waters,4325 and the wellspring4726 of wisdom2451 as a flowing5042 brook.5158

5 It is not good2896 to accept5375 the person6440 of the wicked,7563 to overthrow5186 the righteous6662 in judgment.4941

6 A fool's3684 lips8193 enter935 into contention,7379 and his mouth6310 calls7121 for strokes.4112

7 A fool's3684 mouth6310 is his destruction,4288 and his lips8193 are the snare4170 of his soul.5315

8 The words1697 of a talebearer5372 are as wounds,3859 and they go3381 down3381 into the innermost2315 parts of the belly.990

9 He also1571 that is slothful7503 in his work4399 is brother251 to him that is a great1167 waster.7843

13 He that answers7725 a matter1697 before2962 he hears8085 it, it is folly200 and shame3639 to him.

14 The spirit7307 of a man376 will sustain3557 his infirmity;4245 but a wounded5218 spirit7307 who4310 can bear?5375

15 The heart3820 of the prudent995 gets7069 knowledge;1847 and the ear241 of the wise2450 seeks1245 knowledge.1847

16 A man's120 gift4976 makes room7337 for him, and brings5148 him before6440 great1419 men.

18 The lot1486 causes contentions4079 to cease,7673 and parts6504 between996 the mighty.6099

19 A brother251 offended6586 is harder to be won than a strong5797 city:7151 and their contentions4079 are like the bars1280 of a castle.759

20 A man's376 belly990 shall be satisfied7646 with the fruit6529 of his mouth;6310 and with the increase8393 of his lips8193 shall he be filled.7646

21 Death4194 and life2416 are in the power3027 of the tongue:3956 and they that love157 it shall eat398 the fruit6529 thereof.

22 Whoever finds4672 a wife802 finds4672 a good2896 thing, and obtains6329 favor7522 of the LORD.3068

箴言

第18章

1 與眾寡合的,獨自尋求心願,並以一切智慧尋找和干與事[seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom]

[A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly];但有一朋友比兄弟[brother]更親密。
