3 Therefore59213651 shall the strong5794 people5971 glorify3513 you, the city7151 of the terrible6184 nations1471 shall fear3372 you.
4 For you have been1961 a strength4581 to the poor,1800 a strength4581 to the needy34 in his distress,6862 a refuge4268 from the storm,2230 a shadow6738 from the heat,2721 when3588 the blast7307 of the terrible6184 ones is as a storm2230 against the wall.7023
5 You shall bring3665 down3665 the noise7588 of strangers,2114 as the heat2721 in a dry6724 place; even the heat2721 with the shadow6738 of a cloud:5645 the branch2159 of the terrible6184 ones shall be brought6030 low.6030
6 And in this2088 mountain2022 shall the LORD3068 of hosts6635 make6213 to all3605 people5971 a feast4960 of fat8081 things, a feast4960 of wines8105 on the lees,8105 of fat8081 things full of marrow,4229 of wines8105 on the lees8105 well refined.2212
7 And he will destroy1104 in this2088 mountain2022 the face6440 of the covering3875 cast3874 over5921 all3605 people,5971 and the veil4541 that is spread5259 over5921 all3605 nations.1471
8 He will swallow1104 up death4194 in victory;5331 and the Lord136 GOD3069 will wipe4229 away tears1832 from off5921 all3605 faces;6440 and the rebuke2781 of his people5971 shall he take5493 away5493 from off5921 all3605 the earth:776 for the LORD3068 has spoken1696 it.
9 And it shall be said559 in that day,3117 See,2009 this2088 is our God;430 we have waited6960 for him, and he will save3467 us: this2088 is the LORD;3068 we have waited6960 for him, we will be glad1523 and rejoice8055 in his salvation.3444
10 For in this2088 mountain2022 shall the hand3027 of the LORD3068 rest,5117 and Moab4124 shall be trodden1758 down under8478 him, even as straw4963 is trodden1758 down for the dunghill.4087
11 And he shall spread6566 forth his hands3027 in the middle7130 of them, as he that swims7811 spreads6566 forth his hands to swim:7811 and he shall bring8213 down8213 their pride1346 together with the spoils698 of their hands.3027

1 ГОСПОДИ, Ты — Бог мой, буду славить Тебя, возвеличу имя Твое — ибо Ты творишь чудеса, в точности исполняешь замыслы Свои древние, как и повелел от начала!
2 Ты обратил город в руины, крепость неприступную — в груду камней, разрушен оплот иноплеменников, не отстроиться ему вовеки!
3 Посему прославят Тебя народы сильные, города угнетателей устрашатся Тебя.
4 Ты — убежище для бедных, убежище нищим в их скорбях, защита от бурь и тень, укрывающая от зноя. Когда ярость притеснителя была подобна ударам грозового ливня о стену,
5 а окрики иноземцев — опаляющему зною в пустыне, Ты осадил их, как укрощает жару тень облака, и песни угнетателей стихли.
6 И устроит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств на горе Своей, на Сионе, пир роскошный для всех народов, с лучшим мясом и отборными винами, винами старыми, очищенными.
7 И на той же горе снимет Он покров тяжкий, что лежит на всех народах, пелену, что все племена покрывает:
8 навеки Он смерть поглотит! И отрет Владыка ГОСПОДЬ у каждого слезу со щеки, упразднит поношение Своего народа — во всех краях земли. ГОСПОДЬ сказал это!
9 Будут говорить в тот день: «Вот Он, Бог наш! На Него уповали мы, и Он спас нас. Это — ГОСПОДЬ, на Которого мы уповали! Будем радоваться спасению, Им дарованному, и ликовать!»
10 Рука ГОСПОДНЯ простерта будет над этой горой, моавитяне же попраны будут, как солома в глине, увязнут они.
11 Пусть Моав негодует, машет руками своими, как пловец, что силится грести, — осадит ГОСПОДЬ гордыню его, как бы ни были ловки его руки!
12 Могучие башни его обрушит, стены наземь повергнет — в пыли они будут лежать.

5 а окрики иноземцев — опаляющему зною в пустыне, Ты осадил их, как укрощает жару тень облака, и песни угнетателей стихли.

6 И устроит ГОСПОДЬ Воинств на горе Своей, на Сионе, пир роскошный для всех народов, с лучшим мясом и отборными винами, винами старыми, очищенными.
