2 Lest6435 he tear2963 my soul5315 like a lion,738 rending6561 it in pieces, while there is none369 to deliver.5337

3 O LORD3068 my God,430 if518 I have done6213 this;2063 if518 there be iniquity5766 in my hands;3709

4 If518 I have rewarded1580 evil7451 to him that was at peace7999 with me; (yes, I have delivered2502 him that without7387 cause7387 is my enemy:6887)

2 Господи, Боже мой! на Тебя уповаю, спаси меня от всех гонителей моих, и избавь меня.

3 Дабы враг не исторг души моей, как лев. Он терзает, и нет избавляющего.

4 Господи, Боже мой! ежели я это сделал, ежели есть неправда в руках моих;

5 Ежели я другу моему платил злом, и обнажил того, кем притеснен безвинно:

6 То пусть враг преследует душу мою, и настигнет, втопчет в землю жизнь мою, и славу мою вселит в прах. (Села.)

7 Восстань, Господи, во гневе Твоем; подвигнись против буйства гонителей моих; пробудись на помощь мне, открой суд.

8 Сонм народов станет вокруг Тебя, над ним взойди на высоту.

9 Господь судит народы. Суди меня, Господи, по правде моей, и по непорочности моей да будет мне.

10 Да пресечется злоба нечестивых, а праведника подкрепи; ибо Ты испытуешь сердца и утробы, праведный Боже!

11 Щит для меня у Бога, Спасителя праведных сердцем.

12 Бог судия праведный, [крепкий и долготерпеливый], и Бог всякий день готовый ко гневу.

13 Ежели нечестивый не обращается: то Он изостряет Свой меч, напрягает лук Свой и направляет его;

14 Кладет на него орудия смерти, стрелы Свои соделывает палящими.

15 Се, нечестивый зачал неправду, был чреват злодейством, и родил себе обман.

16 Рыл ров, и ископал его, и упал в яму, которую приготовил.

17 Злоба его обратилась на его голову, и злодейство его пало на его темя.
