5 Господу неугоден тот, кто ставит себя выше других. Он непременно накажет гордецов.

6 Истинная любовь и верность сделают тебя чистым от греха. Почитай Господа, и будешь ты вдали от зла.

7 Живущий праведно Господу угоден, и даже враги такого человека будут в мире с ним.

8 Лучше немного приобрести правдой, чем много, но обманом.

9 Человек строит планы, но лишь Господь ведёт по жизни человека.

10 Слово царя — закон, его решения справедливы.

11 Господь хочет, чтобы все весы были верны и все соглашения справедливы.

12 Цари ненавидят дела злых. Доброта придаёт его царству силу.

13 Цари всегда хотят слышать правду, им нравятся люди, которые не лгут.

14 Царь в гневе может убить, но мудрый человек постарается, чтобы царь был счастлив.

15 Если счастлив царь, то жизнь лучше для всех. Его расположение — приятный весенний дождь.

16 Мудрость стоит дороже золота, разум стоит дороже серебра.

17 Добрые люди стараются жить вдалеке от зла. Кто осторожен, тот защитит себя.

18 Гордому человеку грозит погибель, высокомерному грозит поражение.

19 Лучше быть смиренным и жить среди бедных, чем делить богатство с высокомерными.

20 Тот, кто слушает советы других, преуспеет, и тот, кто надеется на Господа, будет благословен.

21 Если мудр человек, другие это поймут, и тот, кто осторожно выбирает слова, может убедить любого.

22 Здравый смысл словно источник чистой воды, а глупые ничего не видят, кроме глупости своей.

23 Мудрый думает, прежде чем говорить, и сказанное им внимания достойно.

24 Добрые слова подобны мёду: приятны и целебны для человека.

25 Есть путь, который людям кажется правильным, но он ведёт к смерти.

26 Голод работающего заставляет его работать ради хлеба.

27 Ничтожный человек замышляет недоброе, его советы опасны, как бушующий огонь.

28 Склочник — всегда причина ссор, а сплетник разрушает дружбу.

29 Вспыльчивый причиняет беды друзьям и ведёт их по неверной дороге.

30 Подмигивая и ухмыляясь, злые задумывают обмануть и оскорбить друзей.

31 Седина — корона славы, она приходит от праведной жизни.

32 Лучше быть терпеливым, чем смелым воином, лучше владеть своим гневом, чем целым городом.

33 В поисках решения люди бросают жребий, но ответ лишь от Господа приходит.
