2 For the king4428 had taken counsel,3289 and his princes,8269 and all3605 the congregation6951 in Jerusalem,3389 to keep6213 the passover6453 in the second8145 month.2320

2 Und der König4428 hielt einen Rat3289 mit seinen Obersten8269 und der ganzen Gemeine zu6213 Jerusalem3389, das Passah6453 zu halten im andern8145 Monden2320.

3 For3588 they could3201 not3808 keep6213 it at that1931 time,6256 because3588 the priests3548 had not3808 sanctified themselves6942 sufficiently,4078 neither3808 had the people5971 gathered themselves together622 to Jerusalem.3389

3 Denn sie konnten‘s3201 nicht halten6942 zur selbigen Zeit6256, darum daß der Priester3548 nicht genug4078 geheiliget waren622, und6213 das Volk5971 noch nicht zuhauf kommen war gen Jerusalem3389.

4 And the thing1697 pleased3474 5869 the king4428 and all3605 the congregation.6951

4 Und es1697 gefiel3474 dem5869 Könige4428 wohl und der ganzen Gemeine,

5 So they established5975 a decree1697 to make proclamation5674 6963 throughout all3605 Israel,3478 from Beer-sheba4480 884 even to5704 Dan,1835 that they should come935 to keep6213 the passover6453 unto the LORD3068 God430 of Israel3478 at Jerusalem:3389 for3588 they had not3808 done6213 it of a long7230 time in such sort as it was written.3789

5 und7230 bestelleten, daß solches1697 ausgerufen6963 würde durch5674 ganz Israel3478, von Berseba an bis gen Dan1835, daß sie kämen, Passah6453 zu6213 halten dem HErrn3068, dem GOtt430 Israels3478, zu6213 Jerusalem3389; denn es war935 lange nicht gehalten, wie es geschrieben3789 stehet5975.

6 So the posts7323 went1980 with the letters107 from4480 3027 the king4428 and his princes8269 throughout all3605 Israel3478 and Judah,3063 and according to the commandment4687 of the king,4428 saying,559 Ye children1121 of Israel,3478 turn again7725 unto413 the LORD3068 God430 of Abraham,85 Isaac,3327 and Israel,3478 and he will return7725 to413 the remnant7604 of you, that are escaped6413 out of the hand4480 3709 of the kings4428 of Assyria.804

6 Und85 die Läufer gingen3212 hin mit den Briefen107 von der Hand3027 des Königs4428 und3327 seiner Obersten8269 durch ganz Israel3478 und Juda3063 aus dem Befehl4687 des Königs4428 und sprachen559: Ihr Kinder1121 Israel3478, bekehret euch7725 zu dem HErrn3068, dem GOtt430 Abrahams, Isaaks und Israels3478, so wird er7323 sich7725 kehren zu den übrigen, die noch übrig7604 unter euch sind6413 aus der Hand3709 der Könige4428 zu Assur804.

7 And be1961 not408 ye like your fathers,1 and like your brethren,251 which834 trespassed4603 against the LORD3068 God430 of their fathers,1 who therefore gave them up5414 to desolation,8047 as834 ye859 see.7200

7 Und seid nicht wie eure Väter1 und Brüder251, die sich4603 am HErrn3068, ihrer Väter1 GOtt430, vergriffen, und er sie gab5414 in eine Verwüstung8047, wie ihr7200 selber sehet.

8 Now6258 be ye not stiffnecked,408 7185 6203 as your fathers1 were, but yield5414 3027 yourselves unto the LORD,3068 and enter935 into his sanctuary,4720 which834 he hath sanctified6942 forever:5769 and serve5647 853 the LORD3068 your God,430 that the fierceness2740 of his wrath639 may turn away7725 from4480 you.

8 So seid7185 nun nicht halsstarrig6203, wie eure Väter1, sondern gebet eure Hand3027 dem HErrn3068 und kommt935 zu seinem Heiligtum4720, das er5414 geheiliget hat ewiglich5769, und dienet5647 dem HErrn3068, eurem GOtt430, so wird sich7725 der Grimm2740 seines Zorns639 von euch6942 wenden.

9 For3588 if ye turn again7725 unto5921 the LORD,3068 your brethren251 and your children1121 shall find compassion7356 before6440 them that lead them captive,7617 so that they shall come again7725 into this2063 land:776 for3588 the LORD3068 your God430 is gracious2587 and merciful,7349 and will not3808 turn away5493 his face6440 from4480 you, if518 ye return7725 unto413 him.

9 Denn so ihr euch bekehret zu dem HErrn3068, so werden5493 eure Brüder251 und Kinder1121 Barmherzigkeit7356 haben vor6440 denen, die sie gefangen halten, daß sie wieder7725 in6440 dies Land776 kommen. Denn der HErr3068, euer GOtt430, ist gnädig2587 und barmherzig7349 und wird7617 sein7725 Angesicht nicht von euch wenden7725, so ihr euch zu ihm bekehret.

10 So the posts7323 passed1961 5674 from city4480 5892 to city5892 through the country776 of Ephraim669 and Manasseh4519 even unto5704 Zebulun:2074 but they laughed them to scorn,1961 7832 5921 and mocked3932 them.

10 Und5892 die Läufer7323 gingen von einer Stadt5892 zur andern im Lande776 Ephraim669 und Manasse4519 und bis5674 gen Sebulon2074; aber sie verlachten sie und spotteten3932 ihrer.

11 Nevertheless389 divers376 of Asher4480 836 and Manasseh4519 and of Zebulun4480 2074 humbled themselves,3665 and came935 to Jerusalem.3389

11 Doch etliche582 von Asser836 und Manasse4519 und Sebulon2074 demütigten3665 sich und kamen935 gen Jerusalem3389.

12 Also1571 in Judah3063 the hand3027 of God430 was1961 to give5414 them one259 heart3820 to do6213 the commandment4687 of the king4428 and of the princes,8269 by the word1697 of the LORD.3068

12 Auch kam Gottes430 Hand3027 in Juda3063, daß er ihnen gab5414 einerlei259 Herz3820, zu tun6213 nach des Königs4428 und der Obersten8269 Gebot4687 aus dem Wort1697 des HErrn3068.

13 And there assembled622 at Jerusalem3389 much7227 people5971 to keep6213 853 the feast2282 of unleavened bread4682 in the second8145 month,2320 a very3966 great7230 congregation.6951

13 Und7230 es kam zuhauf622 gen Jerusalem3389 ein groß7227 Volk5971, zu6213 halten das Fest2282 der ungesäuerten4682 Brote im andern8145 Monden2320, eine sehr3966 große Gemeine.

14 And they arose6965 and took away5493 853 the altars4196 that834 were in Jerusalem,3389 and all3605 the altars for incense6999 took they away,5493 and cast7993 them into the brook5158 Kidron.6939

14 Und sie5493 machten sich auf6965 und taten ab die Altäre4196, die zu Jerusalem3389 waren6999, und alle Räuchwerke taten sie5493 weg und warfen7993 sie in den Bach5158 Kidron6939.

15 Then they killed7819 the passover6453 on the fourteenth702 6240 day of the second8145 month:2320 and the priests3548 and the Levites3881 were ashamed,3637 and sanctified themselves,6942 and brought in935 the burnt offerings5930 into the house1004 of the LORD.3068

15 Und3548 schlachteten7819 das Passah6453 am vierzehnten6240 Tage des andern8145 Monden2320. Und die6942 Priester und Leviten3881 bekannten ihre Schande3637 und heiligten sich und brachten935 die Brandopfer5930 zum Hause1004 des HErrn3068.

16 And they stood5975 in5921 their place5977 after their manner,4941 according to the law8451 of Moses4872 the man376 of God:430 the priests3548 sprinkled2236 853 the blood,1818 which they received of the hand4480 3027 of the Levites.3881

16 Und5975 stunden in ihrer Ordnung5977, wie sich‘s gebührt4941, nach dem Gesetz8451 Moses4872, des Mannes376 Gottes430. Und die Priester sprengeten das Blut1818 von der Hand3027 der Leviten3881.

17 For3588 there were many7227 in the congregation6951 that834 were not3808 sanctified:6942 therefore the Levites3881 had the charge of5921 the killing7821 of the passovers6453 for every one3605 that was not3808 clean,2889 to sanctify6942 them unto the LORD.3068

17 Denn ihrer waren2889 viel7227 in der Gemeine, die6942 sich nicht geheiliget hatten6942; darum schlachteten7821 die Leviten3881 das Passah6453 für alle, die nicht rein waren, daß sie6951 dem HErrn3068 geheiliget würden.

18 For3588 a multitude4768 of the people,5971 even many7227 of Ephraim,4480 669 and Manasseh,4519 Issachar,3485 and Zebulun,2074 had not3808 cleansed themselves,2891 yet3588 did they eat398 853 the passover6453 otherwise3808 than it was written.3789 But3588 Hezekiah3169 prayed6419 for5921 them, saying,559 The good2896 LORD3068 pardon3722 every one1157

18 Auch war des Volks5971 viel7227 von Ephraim669, Manasse4519, Isaschar3485 und Sebulon2074, die nicht3808 rein2891 waren, sondern aßen398 das Osterlamm6453 nicht, wie2896 geschrieben stehet. Denn Hiskia3169 bat6419 für sie und sprach559: Der HErr3068, der gütig ist3789, wird gnädig3722 sein

19 That prepareth3559 his heart3824 to seek1875 God,430 the LORD3068 God430 of his fathers,1 though he be not3808 cleansed according to the purification2893 of the sanctuary.6944

19 allen, die ihr Herz3824 schicken, GOtt430 zu3559 suchen1875, den HErrn3068, den GOtt430 ihrer Väter1, und nicht um der heiligen6944 Reinigkeit willen.

20 And the LORD3068 hearkened8085 to413 Hezekiah,3169 and healed7495 853 the people.5971

20 Und der HErr3068 erhörete Hiskia3169 und heilete das8085 Volk5971.
|
|
21 And the children1121 of Israel3478 that were present4672 at Jerusalem3389 kept6213 853 the feast2282 of unleavened bread4682 seven7651 days3117 with great1419 gladness:8057 and the Levites3881 and the priests3548 praised1984 the LORD3068 day3117 by day,3117 singing with loud5797 instruments3627 unto the LORD.3068

21 Also hielten die Kinder1121 Israel3478, die zu6213 Jerusalem3389 funden wurden4672, das Fest2282 der ungesäuerten4682 Brote sieben7651 Tage3117 mit großer1419 Freude8057. Und3548 die Leviten3881 und Priester lobeten den HErrn3068 alle3117 Tage3117 mit starken5797 Saitenspielen3627 des HErrn3068.

22 And Hezekiah3169 spoke1696 comfortably5921 3820 unto all3605 the Levites3881 that taught7919 the good2896 knowledge7922 of the LORD:3068 and they did eat398 throughout854 the feast4150 seven7651 days,3117 offering2076 peace8002 offerings,2077 and making confession3034 to the LORD3068 God430 of their fathers.1

22 Und7922 Hiskia3169 redete1696 herzlich mit allen Leviten3881, die einen guten2896 Verstand hatten am HErrn3068. Und2076 sie3820 aßen398 das Fest über4150, sieben7651 Tage3117; und opferten Dankopfer8002 und danketen dem HErrn3068, ihrer Väter1 GOtt430.

23 And the whole3605 assembly6951 took counsel3289 to keep6213 other312 seven7651 days:3117 and they kept6213 other seven7651 days3117 with gladness.8057

23 Und6213 die ganze Gemeine ward Rats3289, noch andere312 sieben7651 Tage3117 zu6213 halten; und hielten auch die sieben7651 Tage3117 mit Freuden8057.

24 For3588 Hezekiah2396 king4428 of Judah3063 did give7311 to the congregation6951 a thousand505 bullocks6499 and seven7651 thousand505 sheep;6629 and the princes8269 gave7311 to the congregation6951 a thousand505 bullocks6499 and ten6235 thousand505 sheep:6629 and a great number7230 of priests3548 sanctified themselves.6942

24 Denn Hiskia2396, der König4428 Judas, gab eine Hebe7311 für die6942 Gemeine, tausend505 Farren6499 und7651 siebentausend Schafe6629. Die Obersten8269 aber gaben eine Hebe7311 für die Gemeine, tausend Farren6499 und7230 zehntausend6235 Schafe6629. Also heiligten sich der Priester3548 viele.

25 And all3605 the congregation6951 of Judah,3063 with the priests3548 and the Levites,3881 and all3605 the congregation6951 that came935 out of Israel,4480 3478 and the strangers1616 that came935 out of the land4480 776 of Israel,3478 and that dwelt3427 in Judah,3063 rejoiced.8055

25 Und3548 es freuten sich3427 die ganze Gemeine Juda3063, die Priester und Leviten3881 und die ganze Gemeine, die aus Israel3478 kommen waren935, und die Fremdlinge1616, die aus dem Lande776 Israel3478 kommen waren935 und die in Juda3063 wohneten.

26 So there was1961 great1419 joy8057 in Jerusalem:3389 for3588 since the time4480 3117 of Solomon8010 the son1121 of David1732 king4428 of Israel3478 there was not3808 the like2063 in Jerusalem.3389

26 Und war1121 eine große1419 Freude8057 zu Jerusalem3389. Denn seit der Zeit3117 Salomos8010, des Sohns Davids1732, des Königs4428 Israels3478, war solches zu Jerusalem3389 nicht gewesen.

27 Then the priests3548 the Levites3881 arose6965 and blessed1288 853 the people:5971 and their voice6963 was heard,8085 and their prayer8605 came935 up to his holy6944 dwelling place,4583 even unto heaven.8064

27 Und3548 die Priester und die Leviten3881 stunden auf6965 und segneten1288 das Volk5971, und ihre Stimme6963 ward erhöret, und ihr Gebet8605 kam8085 hinein935 vor seine heilige6944 Wohnung4583 im Himmel8064.
