4 Ich will meine Hand3027 ausstrecken über Juda3063 und3548 über alle, die zu Jerusalem3389 wohnen3427; also will ich das3772 übrige7605 von Baal1168 ausreuten, dazu den Namen8034 der Kamarim und Priester aus5186 diesem Ort4725

5 And them that worship7812 the host6635 of heaven8064 upon5921 the housetops;1406 and them that worship7812 and that swear7650 by the LORD,3068 and that swear7650 by Malcham;4445

5 und4428 die, so auf den Dächern1406 des Himmels8064 Heer6635 anbeten7812, die es anbeten7812 und schwören7650 doch bei dem HErrn3068 und zugleich bei Malchom,

7 Seid stille vor6440 dem HErrn3069 HErrn3068; denn des HErrn3068 Tag3117 ist nahe7138! Denn der HErr136 hat3559 ein Schlachtopfer2077 zubereitet und seine Gäste7121 dazu geladen6942.

8 And it shall come to pass1961 in the day3117 of the LORD's3068 sacrifice,2077 that I will punish6485 5921 the princes,8269 and the king's4428 children,1121 and all3605 such as are clothed3847 with strange5237 apparel.4403

8 Und am Tage3117 des Schlachtopfers2077 des HErrn3068 will ich heimsuchen6485 die Fürsten8269 und des Königs4428 Kinder1121 und alle, die ein fremd5237 Kleid4403 tragen3847.

9 In the same1931 day3117 also will I punish6485 5921 all3605 those that leap1801 on5921 the threshold,4670 which fill4390 their masters'113 houses1004 with violence2555 and deceit.4820

9 Auch will ich zur selbigen Zeit3117 die heimsuchen, so über6485 die Schwelle4670 springen1801, die ihrer Herren113 Haus1004 füllen4390 mit Rauben2555 und Trügen4820.

10 And it shall come to pass1961 in that1931 day,3117 saith5002 the LORD,3068 that there shall be the noise6963 of a cry6818 from the fish1709 gate,4480 8179 and a howling3215 from4480 the second,4932 and a great1419 crashing7667 from the hills.4480 1389

10 Zur selbigen Zeit3117, spricht5002 der HErr3068, wird sich ein laut Geschrei6963 erheben von dem Fischtor1709 an und ein Geheul3215 von dem andern4932 Tor8179 und ein großer1419 Jammer7667 auf den Hügeln1389.

11 Howl,3213 ye inhabitants3427 of Maktesh,4389 for3588 all3605 the merchant3667 people5971 are cut down;1820 all3605 they that bear5187 silver3701 are cut off.3772

11 Heulet3213, die ihr3427 in der Mühle4389 wohnet! Denn das3772 ganze Krämervolk5971 ist dahin1820, und alle, die Geld3701 sammeln5187, sind ausgerottet.

12 And it shall come to pass1961 at that1931 time,6256 that I will search2664 853 Jerusalem3389 with candles,5216 and punish6485 5921 the men376 that are settled7087 on5921 their lees:8105 that say559 in their heart,3824 The LORD3068 will not3808 do good,3190 neither3808 will he do evil.7489

12 Zur selbigen Zeit6256 will3190 ich Jerusalem3389 mit Laternen durchsuchen2664 und will heimsuchen die Leute582, die auf ihren Hefen8105 liegen7087 und sprechen559 in ihrem Herzen3824: Der HErr3068 wird6485 weder Gutes noch Böses tun7489.

13 Therefore their goods2428 shall become1961 a booty,4933 and their houses1004 a desolation:8077 they shall also build1129 houses,1004 but not3808 inhabit3427 them; and they shall plant5193 vineyards,3754 but not3808 drink8354 853 the wine3196 thereof.

13 Und2428 sollen ihre Güter zum Raube werden und ihre Häuser1004 zur Wüste8077. Sie werden Häuser1004 bauen1129 und nicht drinnen wohnen3427; sie werden Weinberge3754 pflanzen5193 und keinen Wein3196 davon trinken8354.

14 The great1419 day3117 of the LORD3068 is near,7138 it is near,7138 and hasteth4118 greatly,3966 even the voice6963 of the day3117 of the LORD:3068 the mighty man1368 shall cry6873 there8033 bitterly.4751

14 Denn des HErrn3068 großer Tag3117 ist nahe7138; er ist nahe7138 und eilet sehr1419. Wenn das Geschrei6963 vom Tage3117 des HErrn3068 kommen wird, so3966 werden die Starken1368 alsdann bitterlich4751 schreien6873.

15 That1931 day3117 is a day3117 of wrath,5678 a day3117 of trouble6869 and distress,4691 a day3117 of wasteness7722 and desolation,4875 a day3117 of darkness2822 and gloominess,653 a day3117 of clouds6051 and thick darkness,6205

17 And I will bring distress6887 upon men,120 that they shall walk1980 like blind men,5787 because3588 they have sinned2398 against the LORD:3068 and their blood1818 shall be poured out8210 as dust,6083 and their flesh3894 as the dung.1561

17 Ich will den Leuten120 bange machen6887, daß sie umhergehen sollen1980 wie die Blinden5787, darum daß sie wider den HErrn3068 gesündiget haben2398. Ihr Blut1818 soll vergossen8210 werden, als wäre es Staub6083, und ihr Leib3894, als wäre es Kot1561.

18 Neither3808 1571 their silver3701 nor1571 their gold2091 shall be able3201 to deliver5337 them in the day3117 of the LORD's3068 wrath;5678 but the whole3605 land776 shall be devoured398 by the fire784 of his jealousy:7068 for3588 he shall make6213 even389 a speedy926 riddance3617 of854 all3605 them that dwell3427 in the land.776

18 Es wird926 sie ihr3427 Silber3701 und Gold2091 nicht erretten5337 mögen3201 am Tage3117 des Zorns5678 des HErrn3068, sondern das776 ganze Land776 soll durch das Feuer784 seines Eifers verzehret werden398; denn7068 er wird‘s plötzlich ein Ende3617 machen6213 mit allen, die im Lande wohnen.
