1 And Jehoshaphat3092 his son1121 reigned4427 in his stead,8478 and strengthened himself2388 against5921 Israel.3478

2 And he placed5414 forces2428 in all3605 the fenced1219 cities5892 of Judah,3063 and set5414 garrisons5333 in the land776 of Judah,3063 and in the cities5892 of Ephraim,669 which834 Asa609 his father1 had taken.3920

2 И поставил5414 он войско2428 во все укрепленные1219 города5892 Иудеи3063 и расставил5414 охранное5333 войско5333 по земле776 Иудейской3063 и по городам5892 Ефремовым,669 которыми овладел3920 Аса,609 отец1 его.

3 And the LORD3068 was1961 with5973 Jehoshaphat,3092 because3588 he walked1980 in the first7223 ways1870 of his father1 David,1732 and sought1875 not3808 unto Baalim;1168

3 И был Господь3068 с Иосафатом,3092 потому что он ходил1980 первыми7223 путями1870 Давида,1732 отца1 своего, и не взыскал1875 Ваалов,1168
|

4 But3588 sought1875 to the LORD God430 of his father,1 and walked1980 in his commandments,4687 and not3808 after the doings4639 of Israel.3478

4 но взыскал1875 он Бога430 отца1 своего и поступал1980 по заповедям4687 Его, а не по деяниям4639 Израильтян.3478
|

5 Therefore the LORD3068 established3559 853 the kingdom4467 in his hand;3027 and all3605 Judah3063 brought5414 to Jehoshaphat3092 presents;4503 and he had1961 riches6239 and honor3519 in abundance.7230

5 И утвердил3559 Господь3068 царство4467 в руке3027 его, и давали5414 все Иудеи3063 дары4503 Иосафату,3092 и было у него много7230 богатства6239 и славы.3519

6 And his heart3820 was lifted up1361 in the ways1870 of the LORD:3068 moreover5750 he took away5493 853 the high places1116 and groves842 out of Judah.4480 3063

6 И возвысилось1361 сердце3820 его на путях1870 Господних;3068 притом и высоты1116 отменил5493 он и дубравы842 в Иудее.3063

7 Also in the third7969 year8141 of his reign4427 he sent7971 to his princes,8269 even to Ben-hail,1134 and to Obadiah,5662 and to Zechariah,2148 and to Nethaneel,5417 and to Michaiah,4322 to teach3925 in the cities5892 of Judah.3063

7 И в третий7969 год8141 царствования4427 своего он послал7971 князей8269 своих Бенхаила1134 и Овадию,5662 и Захарию2148 и Нафанаила5417 и Михея,4322 чтоб учили3925 по городам5892 Иудиным3063 народ,

8 And with5973 them he sent Levites,3881 even Shemaiah,8098 and Nethaniah,5418 and Zebadiah,2069 and Asahel,6214 and Shemiramoth,8070 and Jehonathan,3083 and Adonijah,138 and Tobijah,2900 and Tob-adonijah,2899 Levites;3881 and with5973 them Elishama476 and Jehoram,3088 priests.3548

8 и с ними левитов:3881 Шемаию8098 и Нефанию,5418 и Зевадию2069 и Азаила,6214 и Шемирамофа8070 и Ионафана,3083 и Адонию138 и Товию2900 и Тов-Адонию,2899 и с ними Елишаму476 и Иорама,3088 священников.3548

9 And they taught3925 in Judah,3063 and had the book5612 of the law8451 of the LORD3068 with5973 them, and went about5437 throughout all3605 the cities5892 of Judah,3063 and taught3925 the people.5971

9 И они учили3925 в Иудее,3063 имея с собою книгу5612 закона8451 Господня;3068 и обходили5437 все города5892 Иудеи3063 и учили3925 народ.5971
|
|
10 And the fear6343 of the LORD3068 fell1961 upon5921 all3605 the kingdoms4467 of the lands776 that834 were round about5439 Judah,3063 so that they made no war3898 3808 against5973 Jehoshaphat.3092

10 И был страх6343 Господень3068 на всех царствах4467 земель,776 которые вокруг5439 Иудеи,3063 и не воевали3898 с Иосафатом.3092
|
|
11 Also some of4480 the Philistines6430 brought935 Jehoshaphat3092 presents,4503 and tribute4853 silver;3701 and1571 the Arabians6163 brought935 him flocks,6629 seven7651 thousand505 and seven7651 hundred3967 rams,352 and seven7651 thousand505 and seven7651 hundred3967 he goats.8495

11 А от Филистимлян6430 приносили935 Иосафату3092 дары4503 и в дань4853 серебро;3701 также Аравитяне6163 пригоняли935 к нему мелкий6629 скот:6629 овнов352 семь7651 тысяч505 семьсот76513967 и козлов8495 семь7651 тысяч505 семьсот.76513967

12 And Jehoshaphat3092 waxed1961 1980 great1432 exceedingly;5704 4605 and he built1129 in Judah3063 castles,1003 and cities5892 of store.4543

12 И возвышался1980 Иосафат3092 все более1432 и более4605 и построил1129 в Иудее3063 крепости1003 и города5892 для запасов.4543
|
|
13 And he had1961 much7227 business4399 in the cities5892 of Judah:3063 and the men376 of war,4421 mighty men1368 of valor,2428 were in Jerusalem.3389
|
13 Много7227 было у него запасов4399 в городах5892 Иудейских,3063 а в Иерусалиме3389 людей582 военных,4421 храбрых.13682428
|
|
14 And these428 are the numbers6486 of them according to the house1004 of their fathers:1 Of Judah,3063 the captains8269 of thousands;505 Adnah5734 the chief,8269 and with5973 him mighty men1368 of valor2428 three7969 hundred3967 thousand.505

15 And next5921 3027 to him was Jehohanan3076 the captain,8269 and with5973 him two hundred3967 and fourscore8084 thousand.505

16 And next5921 3027 him was Amasiah6007 the son1121 of Zichri,2147 who willingly offered himself5068 unto the LORD;3068 and with him5973 two hundred3967 thousand505 mighty men1368 of valor.2428

17 And of4480 Benjamin;1144 Eliada450 a mighty man1368 of valor,2428 and with5973 him armed men5401 with bow7198 and shield4043 two hundred3967 thousand.505

17 У Вениамина:1144 отличный1368 воин2428 Елиада,450 и у него вооруженных5401 луком7198 и щитом4043 двести3967 тысяч;505

18 And next5921 3027 him was Jehozabad,3075 and with5973 him a hundred3967 and fourscore8084 thousand505 ready prepared2502 for the war.6635
