Chapter 39

1 AND of the blue and purple and scarlet material, they made vestments for the service, to minister in the sanctuary, and made the holy vestments for Aaron, as the LORD commanded Moses.

2 And they made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

3 And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to be worked in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet material, and in the fine linen, with artistic workmanship.

4 They made shoulder-pieces for it, to join it together; by the two edges was it joined together.

5 And the embroidered girdle of the ephod that was upon it was of the same material, according to the work thereof; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet material, and fine twined linen; as the LORD commanded Moses.

6 And they made the onyx stones inclosed and set in work of gold, engraved, as signets are engraved, with the names of the sons of Israel.

7 And they put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, that they should be stones for a memorial for the sons of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.

8 And they made the breastplate, the work of an artist, like the work of the ephod; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet material, and fine twined linen.

9 It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double; a span was its length and a span its breadth, being doubled.

10 And they set it in four rows of stones; the first row was a sardius, a topaz, and an emerald; this was the first row.

11 And the second row, a carbuncle, a sapphire, and a jasper.

12 And the third row, a jacinth, a carnelian, and an amethyst.

13 And the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper; they were inclosed and set in the work of gold in their inclosings.

14 And the stones were according to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve, according to their names, engraved like the engravings of signets, everyone with his name, according to the twelve tribes.

15 And they made upon the breastplate chains at the two ends, of braided work of pure gold.

16 And they made two settings of gold and two gold rings; and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.

17 And they fastened the two braided chains of gold to the two rings on the ends of the breastplate.

18 And the two ends of the two braided chains they fastened to the two settings, and put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, in the front of it.

19 And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on the border of it, which was on the side of the ephod from within.

20 And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two shoulder-pieces of the ephod from within, toward the front of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the embroidered girdle of the ephod.

21 And they did bind the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a cord of blue, that it might be above the embroidered girdle of the ephod and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.

22 And they made the robe of the ephod of fine woven work, all of blue.

23 And the opening of the robe was within it, as the hole of a coat of mail, with a binding round about the opening, that it might not be torn.

24 And they made on the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twined linen.

25 And they made bells of pure gold, and fastened the bells between the pomegranates on the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;

26 A bell of gold and a pomegranate, and a bell of gold and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister in; as the LORD commanded Moses.

27 And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron and for his sons,

28 And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and breeches of fine linen,

29 And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue and purple and scarlet needlework; as the LORD commanded Moses,

30 And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it an inscription like to the engraving of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

31 And they tied to it a cord of blue to fasten it over the mitre; as the LORD commanded Moses.

32 Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the congregation was finished; and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

33 And they brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its vessels, its rings, its clasps, its boards, its pins, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets,

34 And the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the veil for the covering of the door,

35 The ark of the testimony, and its poles, and the mercy seat,

36 The table, and all its vessels, and the shewbread,

37 The pure candlestick, with its lamps, and with the lamps to be set in order, and all its vessels, and the oil for light,

38 And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the tabernacle door,

39 The altar of brass, and its grate of brass, its poles, and all its vessels, the laver and its base,

40 The hangings of the court, its pillars, its sockets, and the hanging for the court gate, its cords, its pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle of the congregation,

41 The vestments of the service to minister in the holy place, and the holy vestments for Aaron the priest, and vestments for his sons, to minister in the priest's office.

42 According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

43 And Moses looked upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded Moses, even so had they done it; and Moses blessed them.

3 Расплющили золото в тонкие листы, разрезали на нити и искусно вплели в голубую, пурпурную и алую пряжу и кручёный лён.

4 Для ефода сделали наплечники по двум углам, чтобы он застёгивался.

5 Искусно сотканный пояс ефода был подобен ему – из одного с ним материала: из золотой нити, из голубой, пурпурной и алой пряжи и из кручёного льна, как повелел Мусе Вечный.

6 Вставили ониксы в золотые филигранные оправы и вырезали на них, как на печати, имена сыновей Исраила,

7 и прикрепили их к наплечникам ефода как памятные камни для сыновей Исраила, как повелел Мусе Вечный.

8 Сделали нагрудник искусной работы, подобно ефоду: из золотой нити, из голубой, пурпурной и алой пряжи и из кручёного льна.

9 Он был квадратным, двадцать два сантиметра в длину и ширину, из сложенной вдвое ткани.

10 Вставили в него четыре ряда драгоценных камней. В первом ряду были рубин, топаз и берилл;

11 во втором ряду – бирюза, сапфир и изумруд;

12 в третьем ряду – гиацинт, агат и аметист;

13 в четвёртом ряду – хризолит, оникс и яшма, которые были вставлены в золотые филигранные оправы.

14 Камней было двенадцать – по одному на каждое из имён сыновей Исраила; на каждом камне, как на печати, было вырезано имя одного из двенадцати родов.

15 Для нагрудника сделали цепочки из чистого золота, свитые подобно верёвке.

16 Сделали две золотые филигранные оправы и два золотых кольца и прикрепили кольца к двум углам нагрудника.

17 Две золотые цепочки прикрепили к кольцам на углах нагрудника,

18 а другие концы цепочек – к двум оправам, присоединив их к наплечникам ефода спереди.

19 И ещё сделали два золотых кольца и прикрепили их к двум другим углам нагрудника с внутренней стороны ефода.

20 Затем сделали ещё два золотых кольца и прикрепили их снизу к наплечникам ефода спереди, рядом со швом прямо над поясом ефода.

21 Кольца нагрудника связали с кольцами ефода голубым шнуром, соединяющим нагрудник с поясом так, чтобы нагрудник не спадал с ефода – всё так, как повелел Мусе Вечный.

22 Верхняя риза под ефод была голубой, тканой,

23 с вырезом в середине, подшитым тесьмой, как для воротника, чтобы он не рвался.

24 Нашили гранатовые плоды из голубой, пурпурной и алой пряжи и кручёного льна по нижнему краю верхней ризы,

25 и колокольчики из чистого золота, прикрепив их по нижнему краю между плодами так, чтобы

26 колокольчики и гранатовые плоды чередовались. Ризу нужно было надевать для службы, как повелел Мусе Вечный.

27 Для Харуна и его сыновей сделали из тонкого льна рубашки тканые

28 и тюрбан, а головные повязки и набедренники были из кручёного льна.

29 Пояс также был сделан из кручёного льна и голубой, пурпурной и алой пряжи, он был украшен шитьём, как повелел Мусе Вечный.

30 Из чистого золота сделали пластинку – священный венец – и вырезали на ней, как на печати: СВЯТЫНЯ ВЕЧНОГО.

31 Затем присоединили к нему голубой шнур, чтобы прикрепить его к тюрбану, как повелел Мусе Вечный.

32 Так была завершена работа над священным шатром – шатром встречи. Исраильтяне сделали всё точно так, как Вечный повелел Мусе.

33 Они принесли священный шатёр Мусе: шатёр с его утварью – застёжками, брусьями, перекладинами, столбами и основаниями,

34 покрытие из бараньих кож, крашенных красным, покрытие из кож дюгоней, закрывающую завесу,

35 сундук соглашения с шестами и крышкой,

36 стол со всей утварью, священный хлеб,

37 светильник из чистого золота с чередой лампад и всей его утварью, масло для светильника,

38 золотой жертвенник, масло для помазания, благовония, завесу для входа в шатёр,

39 бронзовый жертвенник с бронзовой решёткой, шестами и утварью, умывальник с его основанием,

40 завесы двора со столбами и основаниями, завесу для входа во двор, верёвки и колья для двора, всю утварь для священного шатра – шатра встречи,

41 тканые одеяния для служения в святилище: священные одеяния для священнослужителя Харуна и его сыновей, когда они совершают служение.

42 Исраильтяне выполнили всю работу в точности, как повелел Мусе Вечный.

43 Муса осмотрел их работу и увидел, что они сделали её точно так, как повелел Вечный. И Муса благословил их.

6 And they made the onyx stones inclosed and set in work of gold, engraved, as signets are engraved, with the names of the sons of Israel.

6 Вставили ониксы в золотые филигранные оправы и вырезали на них, как на печати, имена сыновей Исраила,

7 And they put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, that they should be stones for a memorial for the sons of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.

7 и прикрепили их к наплечникам ефода как памятные камни для сыновей Исраила, как повелел Мусе Вечный.

8 And they made the breastplate, the work of an artist, like the work of the ephod; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet material, and fine twined linen.

8 Сделали нагрудник искусной работы, подобно ефоду: из золотой нити, из голубой, пурпурной и алой пряжи и из кручёного льна.

9 It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double; a span was its length and a span its breadth, being doubled.

15 And they made upon the breastplate chains at the two ends, of braided work of pure gold.

17 And they fastened the two braided chains of gold to the two rings on the ends of the breastplate.

18 And the two ends of the two braided chains they fastened to the two settings, and put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, in the front of it.

19 And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on the border of it, which was on the side of the ephod from within.

19 И ещё сделали два золотых кольца и прикрепили их к двум другим углам нагрудника с внутренней стороны ефода.

20 And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two shoulder-pieces of the ephod from within, toward the front of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the embroidered girdle of the ephod.

20 Затем сделали ещё два золотых кольца и прикрепили их снизу к наплечникам ефода спереди, рядом со швом прямо над поясом ефода.

21 And they did bind the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a cord of blue, that it might be above the embroidered girdle of the ephod and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.

21 Кольца нагрудника связали с кольцами ефода голубым шнуром, соединяющим нагрудник с поясом так, чтобы нагрудник не спадал с ефода – всё так, как повелел Мусе Вечный.

22 And they made the robe of the ephod of fine woven work, all of blue.

25 And they made bells of pure gold, and fastened the bells between the pomegranates on the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;

25 и колокольчики из чистого золота, прикрепив их по нижнему краю между плодами так, чтобы

26 A bell of gold and a pomegranate, and a bell of gold and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister in; as the LORD commanded Moses.

27 And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron and for his sons,

28 And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and breeches of fine linen,

29 And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue and purple and scarlet needlework; as the LORD commanded Moses,

29 Пояс также был сделан из кручёного льна и голубой, пурпурной и алой пряжи, он был украшен шитьём, как повелел Мусе Вечный.

30 And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it an inscription like to the engraving of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

31 And they tied to it a cord of blue to fasten it over the mitre; as the LORD commanded Moses.

32 Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the congregation was finished; and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.

32 Так была завершена работа над священным шатром – шатром встречи. Исраильтяне сделали всё точно так, как Вечный повелел Мусе.

33 And they brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its vessels, its rings, its clasps, its boards, its pins, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets,

33 Они принесли священный шатёр Мусе: шатёр с его утварью – застёжками, брусьями, перекладинами, столбами и основаниями,

41 The vestments of the service to minister in the holy place, and the holy vestments for Aaron the priest, and vestments for his sons, to minister in the priest's office.

41 тканые одеяния для служения в святилище: священные одеяния для священнослужителя Харуна и его сыновей, когда они совершают служение.

42 According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

42 Исраильтяне выполнили всю работу в точности, как повелел Мусе Вечный.

43 And Moses looked upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded Moses, even so had they done it; and Moses blessed them.

43 Муса осмотрел их работу и увидел, что они сделали её точно так, как повелел Вечный. И Муса благословил их.
