Chapter 26

1 AND it came to pass in the eleventh year, on the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

2 Son of man, because Tyre has said against Jerusalem, Aha, the gates of the people are broken; the people have turned to me; I shall be enriched, now that she is destroyed and is laid waste.

3 Therefore thus says the LORD God: Behold, I am against you, O Tyre, and will cause many nations to come up against you, as the sea causes its waves to come up.

4 And they shall destroy the walls of Tyre and demolish her towers, and remove the soil from her; and I will make her like a bare rock.

5 It shall be a drying place for nets in the midst of the sea, because I have spoken it, says the LORD God; and it shall become a spoil to the nations.

6 And her daughters who are in the field shall be slain by the sword; they shall know that I am the LORD.

7 For thus says the LORD God: Behold, I will bring upon Tyre Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, king of kings, from the north with horses and with chariots and with horsemen and a multitude and much people.

8 He shall slay with the sword your daughters who are in the field; and he shall set up forts against you and cast a mount against you and lift up the buckler against you.

9 And he shall strike the sharp points of his spears against your walls, and he shall destroy your towers with his swords.

10 By reason of the abundance of his horses, their dust shall cover you; your walls shall shake at the noise of his horsemen and of the wheels and of the chariots, when he shall enter your gates as men enter into a city in which is made a breach.

11 With the hoofs of his horses he shall tread down all your streets; he shall slay your people by the sword, and your mighty altars shall he demolish to the ground.

12 And his army shall plunder your riches and make a prey of your merchandise; and they shall demolish your walls and destroy your pleasant houses; and they shall cast your stones and your timber and your wealth into the sea.

13 And I will cause the noise of the multitude of your songs to cease; and the sound of your harpers shall be heard no more.

14 And I will make you a bare rock, a drying place for nets; you shall be built no more: for I the LORD have spoken it, says the LORD God.

15 Thus says the LORD God to Tyre: At the sound of your fall and of the torment of your slain and the slaughter which is made in the midst of you, the islands shall tremble.

16 Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones and lay away their robes and put off their embroidered garments; they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble and become restless, and be astonished at you.

17 And they shall take up lamentations over you, and say to you, How you are destroyed, O you inhabitant of the seas, O fortified city, which was strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, who caused their terror to be on all the inhabitants thereof!

18 Now shall the isles tremble in the day of your fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea shall be troubled in the day of your fall.

19 For thus says the LORD God to Tyre: When I shall make you a desolate city, like the cities theft are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon you, and great waters shall cover you;

20 When I shall bring you down with those who descend into the grave, with the people of old time, and shall set you in the lowest parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with those that go down into the pit, that you be not inhabited; and I will not cause your resurrection in the land of the living:

21 I will give you to destruction, you will be sought for, yet you will not be found again for ever, says the LORD God.

1 На одиннадцатом году изгнания, в первый день месяца, ко мне пришло слово Господа. Он сказал:

2 «Сын человеческий, Тир плохо отзывался об Иерусалиме. Вот что сказал он: „Ура! Городские ворота, защищавшие людей, разрушены. Городские ворота открыты для меня. Город Иерусалим разрушен, и теперь я могу забрать немало драгоценностей”».

3 Господь Всемогущий сказал: «Я против тебя, Тир, и Я приведу против тебя многие народы. Они будут захлёстывать тебя снова и снова словно волны, накатывающиеся на берег».

4 Бог сказал: «Вражеские солдаты разрушат стены Тира и его башни. Я смету его плодоносящую землю и сделаю её голым камнем.

5 Город Тир станет прибрежным местом, где раскидывают рыбацкие сети для просушки». Господь Всемогущий сказал: «Тир будет добычей, которую захватывают солдаты во время войны.

6 Дочери Тира (маленькие города), расположенные на материке, будут убиты в битве, и тогда они узнают, что Я — Господь».

7 Господь Всемогущий так говорит: «Я приведу врага против Тира с севера, этим врагом будет Навуходоносор, великий царь Вавилона. Он придёт с большой армией, колесницами, всадниками и солдатами, которые соберутся из разных народов.

8 Навуходоносор убьёт твоих дочерей (маленькие города) на земле. Он построит бугор у стены и земляной вал для взятия города, а также поднимет щиты против тебя.

9 Он разрушит твои стены тараном и кирками уничтожит башни.

10 Так много будет у него коней, что пыль, поднятая ими, покроет тебя. Твои стены будут сотрясаться от грохота колесниц, когда вавилонский царь войдёт в город через ворота. Да, воины войдут в твой город, потому что стены его рухнут.

11 Вавилонский царь придёт через твой город, а стук копыт его коней будет раздаваться на каждой улице. Он убьёт твоих людей мечами, а твои крепкие колонны он повергнет на землю.

12 Воины Навуходоносора заберут все твои богатства и все продаваемые тобой товары. Они разобьют твои стены и уничтожат твои красивые дома, а также сбросят в море твои деревья и камни словно мусор.

13 Ты забудешь звучание счастливых песен, и твои люди больше не услышат музыки арф.

14 Я превращу тебя в голый камень. Ты станешь местом, где раскидывают рыбацкие сети, и не будешь отстроен вновь, потому что Я, Господь, так сказал». Так говорит Господь.

15 Господь Всемогущий так говорит Тиру: «Страны средиземноморского побережья содрогнутся от грохота твоего падения. Это произойдёт в то время, когда народ будет страдать и многие погибнут.

16 Тогда все властители приморских стран сойдут со своих тронов и, сняв свои прекрасные мантии, облачатся в одежды печали и страха. Они всё время будут дрожать от ужаса и, сидя на земле, будут изумляться, как быстро был разрушен ты.

17 И запоют они о тебе печальную песню: „Тир, повсюду славился ты, и поэтому люди переплывали море, чтобы поселиться в твоей земле. Тир, знаменит ты был среди народов, но ты исчез с лица земли. Могучим ты в море был, ты и люди, которые жили в твоей земле, и поэтому ты на других людей страх наводил.

18 Теперь же, в день твоего крушения, сотрясаются от страха страны всего побережья. В страхе в море острова, потому что тебя больше нет”».

19 Господь Всемогущий говорит: «Тир, состаришься ты, и никто больше не будет жить в твоей земле. Я сделаю так, что море затопит тебя, великое море покроет тебя.

20 Я опрокину тебя в могилу, в обитель мёртвых, и ты встретишься с теми, кто умер давно. Я сведу тебя в преисподнюю, как все старые города, и ты будешь находиться вместе с теми, кто уходит под землю. Ты никогда не вернёшься и никогда не станешь землёй живых.

21 Все народы ужаснутся, увидев, что с тобой произошло, потому что разрушение постигнет тебя. Люди будут искать тебя, но никогда не найдут». Так сказал Господь Бог.

2 Son of man, because Tyre has said against Jerusalem, Aha, the gates of the people are broken; the people have turned to me; I shall be enriched, now that she is destroyed and is laid waste.

2 «Сын человеческий, Тир плохо отзывался об Иерусалиме. Вот что сказал он: „Ура! Городские ворота, защищавшие людей, разрушены. Городские ворота открыты для меня. Город Иерусалим разрушен, и теперь я могу забрать немало драгоценностей”».

3 Therefore thus says the LORD God: Behold, I am against you, O Tyre, and will cause many nations to come up against you, as the sea causes its waves to come up.

3 Господь Всемогущий сказал: «Я против тебя, Тир, и Я приведу против тебя многие народы. Они будут захлёстывать тебя снова и снова словно волны, накатывающиеся на берег».

4 And they shall destroy the walls of Tyre and demolish her towers, and remove the soil from her; and I will make her like a bare rock.

4 Бог сказал: «Вражеские солдаты разрушат стены Тира и его башни. Я смету его плодоносящую землю и сделаю её голым камнем.

5 Город Тир станет прибрежным местом, где раскидывают рыбацкие сети для просушки». Господь Всемогущий сказал: «Тир будет добычей, которую захватывают солдаты во время войны.

6 Дочери Тира (маленькие города), расположенные на материке, будут убиты в битве, и тогда они узнают, что Я — Господь».

7 Господь Всемогущий так говорит: «Я приведу врага против Тира с севера, этим врагом будет Навуходоносор, великий царь Вавилона. Он придёт с большой армией, колесницами, всадниками и солдатами, которые соберутся из разных народов.

8 He shall slay with the sword your daughters who are in the field; and he shall set up forts against you and cast a mount against you and lift up the buckler against you.

8 Навуходоносор убьёт твоих дочерей (маленькие города) на земле. Он построит бугор у стены и земляной вал для взятия города, а также поднимет щиты против тебя.

9 Он разрушит твои стены тараном и кирками уничтожит башни.

10 Так много будет у него коней, что пыль, поднятая ими, покроет тебя. Твои стены будут сотрясаться от грохота колесниц, когда вавилонский царь войдёт в город через ворота. Да, воины войдут в твой город, потому что стены его рухнут.

11 With the hoofs of his horses he shall tread down all your streets; he shall slay your people by the sword, and your mighty altars shall he demolish to the ground.

11 Вавилонский царь придёт через твой город, а стук копыт его коней будет раздаваться на каждой улице. Он убьёт твоих людей мечами, а твои крепкие колонны он повергнет на землю.

12 And his army shall plunder your riches and make a prey of your merchandise; and they shall demolish your walls and destroy your pleasant houses; and they shall cast your stones and your timber and your wealth into the sea.

12 Воины Навуходоносора заберут все твои богатства и все продаваемые тобой товары. Они разобьют твои стены и уничтожат твои красивые дома, а также сбросят в море твои деревья и камни словно мусор.

13 And I will cause the noise of the multitude of your songs to cease; and the sound of your harpers shall be heard no more.

13 Ты забудешь звучание счастливых песен, и твои люди больше не услышат музыки арф.

14 And I will make you a bare rock, a drying place for nets; you shall be built no more: for I the LORD have spoken it, says the LORD God.

14 Я превращу тебя в голый камень. Ты станешь местом, где раскидывают рыбацкие сети, и не будешь отстроен вновь, потому что Я, Господь, так сказал». Так говорит Господь.

15 Thus says the LORD God to Tyre: At the sound of your fall and of the torment of your slain and the slaughter which is made in the midst of you, the islands shall tremble.

15 Господь Всемогущий так говорит Тиру: «Страны средиземноморского побережья содрогнутся от грохота твоего падения. Это произойдёт в то время, когда народ будет страдать и многие погибнут.

16 Тогда все властители приморских стран сойдут со своих тронов и, сняв свои прекрасные мантии, облачатся в одежды печали и страха. Они всё время будут дрожать от ужаса и, сидя на земле, будут изумляться, как быстро был разрушен ты.

17 And they shall take up lamentations over you, and say to you, How you are destroyed, O you inhabitant of the seas, O fortified city, which was strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, who caused their terror to be on all the inhabitants thereof!

17 И запоют они о тебе печальную песню: „Тир, повсюду славился ты, и поэтому люди переплывали море, чтобы поселиться в твоей земле. Тир, знаменит ты был среди народов, но ты исчез с лица земли. Могучим ты в море был, ты и люди, которые жили в твоей земле, и поэтому ты на других людей страх наводил.

18 Now shall the isles tremble in the day of your fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea shall be troubled in the day of your fall.

18 Теперь же, в день твоего крушения, сотрясаются от страха страны всего побережья. В страхе в море острова, потому что тебя больше нет”».

19 For thus says the LORD God to Tyre: When I shall make you a desolate city, like the cities theft are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon you, and great waters shall cover you;

19 Господь Всемогущий говорит: «Тир, состаришься ты, и никто больше не будет жить в твоей земле. Я сделаю так, что море затопит тебя, великое море покроет тебя.

20 When I shall bring you down with those who descend into the grave, with the people of old time, and shall set you in the lowest parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with those that go down into the pit, that you be not inhabited; and I will not cause your resurrection in the land of the living:

20 Я опрокину тебя в могилу, в обитель мёртвых, и ты встретишься с теми, кто умер давно. Я сведу тебя в преисподнюю, как все старые города, и ты будешь находиться вместе с теми, кто уходит под землю. Ты никогда не вернёшься и никогда не станешь землёй живых.

21 I will give you to destruction, you will be sought for, yet you will not be found again for ever, says the LORD God.

21 Все народы ужаснутся, увидев, что с тобой произошло, потому что разрушение постигнет тебя. Люди будут искать тебя, но никогда не найдут». Так сказал Господь Бог.
