Chapter 12

1 AT that time, Jesus walked on the sabbath through the wheat fields; and his disciples became hungry, and they began to pluck ears of wheat and eat.

2 But when the Pharisees saw them, they said to him, Behold, your disciples are doing what is unlawful to do on the sabbath.

3 But he said to them, Have you not read what David did, when he and those who were with him were hungry?

4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat bread that was on the table of the Lord, that which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests?

5 Or, have you not read in the book of law, that the priests in the temple disregard the sabbath, and yet are blameless?

6 But I say to you, that there is one here, who is greater than the temple.

7 But if you only knew what it means, I want mercy and not sacrifice, you would not condemn those who are blameless.

8 For the Son of man is Lord of the sabbath.

9 And Jesus departed from thence and came to their synagogue.

10 And there was a man there whose hand was withered. And they questioned him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath? that they might accuse him.

11 He said to them, Who is the man among you who has only one sheep, and if it should fall into a pit on the sabbath, would he not take hold of it and lift it up?

12 How much more important is a man than a sheep? It is therefore lawful to do good on the sabbath.

13 Then he said to the man, Stretch out your hand. And he stretched out his hand, and it was restored like the other.

14 And the Pharisees went out, and they took counsel concerning him, so as to do away with him.

15 But Jesus knew of it, and departed from thence; and a great many people followed him, and he healed them all.

16 And he charged them not to say where he was,

17 So that what was said by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled, who said,

18 Behold my servant with whom I am pleased, my beloved one, in whom my soul rejoices; I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will preach justice to the peoples.

19 He will not argue, nor will he cry aloud; and no man will hear his voice in the street.

20 He will not break even a bruised reed, and he will not extinguish a flickering lamp, until he brings justice to victory;

21 And in his name will the peoples find hope.

22 Then they brought near to him a lunatic, who was also dumb and blind; and he healed him, so that the dumb and blind man could speak and see.

23 All the people were amazed and said, Perhaps this man is the son of David?

24 But when the Pharisees heard of it, they said, This man does not cast out demons, except by Beelzebub, the prince of demons.

25 But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them, Every kingdom which is divided against itself, will be destroyed; and every house or city that is divided against itself, will not stand.

26 And if Satan cast out Satan. he is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand?

27 So if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by what do your sons cast them out? for this reason they will be your judges.

28 And if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come near to you.

29 Or, how can a man enter into a strong man's house and plunder his goods, except he first bind the strong man, and then he plunders his house?

30 He who is not with me is against me; and he who does not gather with me, shall be dispersed.

31 Therefore I say to you, that all sins and blasphemies will be forgiven to men; but the blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven to men.

32 And whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven, neither in this world nor in the world to come.

33 Either produce like a good tree with good fruits, or produce like a bad tree with bad fruits; for a tree is known by its fruits.

34 O generation of scorpions, how can you speak good things when you are bad? For the mouth speaks from the fullness of the heart.

35 A good man brings out good things from good treasures, and a bad man brings out bad things from bad treasures.

36 For I say to you, that for every foolish word which men speak, they will have to answer for it on the day of judgment.

37 For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be found guilty.

38 Then some of the men of the scribes and Pharisees answered and said to him, Teacher, we would like to see a sign from you.

39 But he answered and said to them, An evil and adulterous generation wants a sign; and no sign will be given to it, except the sign of the prophet Jonah.

40 For as Jonah was in the whale's belly three days and three nights, so the Son of man will be in the heart of the earth, three days and three nights.

41 Even the men of Nineveh will rise up in judgment with this generation, and find it guilty; for they repented through the preaching of Jonah, and behold, a greater than Jonah is here.

42 The queen of the south will rise up in judgment with this generation, and find it guilty; for she came from the far ends of the earth that she might hear Solomon's wisdom, and behold a greater than Solomon is here.

43 When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, it travels in places where there is no water, and seeks rest, and does not find it.

44 Then it says, I will return to my own house from whence I came out; so it comes back and finds it empty, warm, and well furnished.

45 Then it goes away and brings with it seven other spirits worse than itself, and they enter and live in it; and the end of that man becomes worse than at first. Such will happen to this evil generation.

46 While he was speaking to the people, his mother and his brothers came and stood outside, and wanted to speak with him.

47 Then a man said to him, Behold your mother and your brothers are standing outside, and they want to speak with you.

48 But he answered and said to him who told him, Who is my mother and who are my brothers?

49 And he pointed his hand to his disciples and said, Behold my mother, and behold my brothers.

50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven, he is my brother and my sister and my mother.

1 Тогда же в одну из суббот, случилось Иисусу идти через пшеничное поле. Его ученики были голодны, поэтому они сорвали несколько колосьев пшеницы и стали есть зерна.

2 Фарисеи, увидев это, сказали: «Смотри! Твои ученики делают недозволенное в субботний день!»

3 Тогда Иисус спросил их: «Разве вы не читали о том, что Давид и те, кто были с ним, сделали, когда были голодны?

4 Он вошёл в дом Божий и съел хлебы, принесённые в дар Богу, хотя это и было запрещено законом и ему, и тем, кто был с ним. Только священникам разрешалось их есть.

5 И разве не читали вы в Законе Моисея, что в субботний день священники в храме нарушают субботу, но их не считают виновными.

6 Но скажу вам: сейчас здесь нечто, что превосходит в величии храм.

7 Если бы вы понимали, что имеется в виду в Писаниях, когда говорится: „Я хочу доброты от вас, а не жертв”, то не осуждали бы невинных.

8 Да, Сын Человеческий — Господин субботы».

9 После этого Иисус ушёл оттуда и отправился в их синагогу.

10 Там был человек с иссохшей рукой, и некоторые иудеи спросили Иисуса: «По Закону ли исцелять людей в субботу?» Они задали этот вопрос, чтобы потом обвинить Его.

11 Но Христос ответил им: «Допустим, что у кого-то из вас есть овца, и она упала в яму в субботний день. Разве вы не схватите её и не вытащите наверх?

12 Человек же намного важнее овцы! Значит, Закон позволяет делать добро в субботу!»

13 Иисус сказал сухорукому: «Протяни руку». Тот протянул руку, и она тот час же выправилась и стала здоровой, как и другая.

14 Тогда фарисеи вышли и стали сговариваться, как найти способ погубить Его.

15 Однако Иисус знал о том, что замышляли фарисеи, и поэтому ушёл оттуда. Множество народа следовало за Ним, и Он всех исцелял,

16 предупреждая их о том, чтобы они не рассказывали о Нём другим.

17 Так случилось во исполнение того, что Бог сказал устами пророка Исаии:

18 «Вот Мой Слуга, Которого Я избрал, Мой Возлюбленный, к Которому Я благоволю. Я передам Ему Духа Своего, и Он провозгласит справедливость для всех народов.

19 Он не станет ни браниться, ни кричать, и люди не услышат Его голос на улицах.

20 Он не сломает согнутый камыш и не погасит мерцающий светильник. Он не остановится, пока не восторжествует справедливость.

21 И все народы будут надеяться на имя Его».

22 И привели к Иисусу слепого и немого, одержимого бесом, и Он исцелил его. И тот человек заговорил и прозрел.

23 И дивился народ, говоря: «Может быть, Этот Человек и есть обещанный Сын Давидов?»

24 Фарисеи, услышав это, сказали: «Он изгоняет бесов только властью Вельзевула, князя бесовского!»

25 Иисус знал их мысли и поэтому сказал им: «Любое царство, разделённое на части враждой, погибнет, и любой город и любая семья, раздираемая распрями, не устоит.

26 И если сатана изгоняет своих бесов, то, значит, он сам против себя выступает. Так как же устоит царство его?

27 И если правда то, что Я изгоняю бесов властью Вельзевула, то чьей же властью изгоняют их ваши люди? Так ваши собственные люди покажут, что вы неправы.

28 Если же Я изгоняю бесов Духом Божьим, то это доказывает, что Царство Божье уже пришло к вам.

29 И если какие-либо люди захотят войти в дом сильного человека и украсть то, чем он владеет, то они сначала должны связать его. Только тогда они смогут разграбить его дом.

30 Кто не со Мной, тот против Меня, и кто не собирает со Мной, тот расточает.

31 И потому говорю вам: любой грех и злословие против Господа будут прощены, но злословие против Святого Духа не будет прощено.

32 Тот, кто скажет слово против Сына Человеческого, может быть прощён. Тот же, кто скажет против Святого Духа, не будет прощён ни в этом веке, ни в будущем».

33 «Вы знаете, что для того, чтобы получить хорошие плоды, нужно хорошее дерево, а для того, чтобы получить плохие плоды, нужно плохое дерево. Ведь дерево распознаётся по его плодам.

34 Отродья змеиные! Как вы можете сказать что-нибудь хорошее, если сами вы злые люди? Ведь слова идут от того, что наполняет сердце.

35 Добрый человек произносит добрые слова, идущие из сердца, наполненного добром, в то время как злой черпает злые слова из сердца, наполненного злом.

36 Но говорю вам, что в Судный день людям придётся отвечать за каждое неосторожно сказанное слово.

37 На основании твоих слов ты будешь признан невиновным, и на основании твоих слов ты будешь осуждён».

38 Тогда некоторые законоучители и фарисеи спросили Иисуса: «Учитель, мы хотели бы, чтобы Ты сотворил для нас знамение».

39 Но Он сказал им в ответ: «Злое и неверное поколение ищет знамения, но оно не будет ему дано, кроме знамения, данного пророком Ионой.

40 Потому что подобно Ионе, проведшему в чреве морского чудовища три дня и три ночи, и Сын Человеческий пробудет в могиле три дня и три ночи.

41 В Судный день жители Ниневии выступят против живущих сегодня и обличат их, потому что покаялись они в ответ на проповедь Ионы, а здесь же Некто, Кто превосходит в величии Иону!

42 В Судный день царица Юга выступит против живущих сегодня и обличит их, так как она явилась с другого конца земли внимать мудрости Соломоновой, а здесь же Некто, Кто превосходит в величии Соломона!»

43 «Когда из человека выходит нечистый дух, то скитается в пустыне в поисках покоя и не находит его.

44 И тогда он говорит: „Я вернусь в своё прежнее обиталище, которое покинул”. И когда он возвращается обратно к тому человеку, то находит обиталище пустым, выметенным и убранным.

45 Тогда он идёт и приводит с собой семь других нечистых духов, ещё худших, чем он сам. И они входят в того человека, и живут там все вместе, и жизнь этого человека становится ещё хуже, чем была прежде. То же произойдёт и со злыми людьми, живущими сегодня».

46 Пока Иисус говорил с народом, Его мать и братья стояли снаружи; они хотели поговорить с Ним.

47 Кто-то сказал Иисусу: «Посмотри, Твоя мать и Твои братья стоят снаружи и хотят поговорить с Тобой».

48 В ответ Он сказал говорившему: «Кто Моя мать и кто Мои братья?»

49 И, протянув руку к Своим ученикам, сказал: «Вот Моя мать и вот Мои братья!

50 Да, тот, кто исполняет волю Моего Отца Небесного — Мой брат, сестра и мать!»

2 But when the Pharisees saw them, they said to him, Behold, your disciples are doing what is unlawful to do on the sabbath.	2 Фарисеи, увидев это, сказали: «Смотри! Твои ученики делают недозволенное в субботний день!»
3 But he said to them, Have you not read what David did, when he and those who were with him were hungry?	3 Тогда Иисус спросил их: «Разве вы не читали о том, что Давид и те, кто были с ним, сделали, когда были голодны?
4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat bread that was on the table of the Lord, that which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but only for the priests?	4 Он вошёл в дом Божий и съел хлебы, принесённые в дар Богу, хотя это и было запрещено законом и ему, и тем, кто был с ним. Только священникам разрешалось их есть.
5 Or, have you not read in the book of law, that the priests in the temple disregard the sabbath, and yet are blameless?	5 И разве не читали вы в Законе Моисея, что в субботний день священники в храме нарушают субботу, но их не считают виновными.

15 But Jesus knew of it, and departed from thence; and a great many people followed him, and he healed them all.	15 Однако Иисус знал о том, что замышляли фарисеи, и поэтому ушёл оттуда. Множество народа следовало за Ним, и Он всех исцелял,
16 And he charged them not to say where he was,	16 предупреждая их о том, чтобы они не рассказывали о Нём другим.
17 So that what was said by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled, who said,	17 Так случилось во исполнение того, что Бог сказал устами пророка Исаии:
18 Behold my servant with whom I am pleased, my beloved one, in whom my soul rejoices; I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will preach justice to the peoples.	18 «Вот Мой Слуга, Которого Я избрал, Мой Возлюбленный, к Которому Я благоволю. Я передам Ему Духа Своего, и Он провозгласит справедливость для всех народов.
19 He will not argue, nor will he cry aloud; and no man will hear his voice in the street.	19 Он не станет ни браниться, ни кричать, и люди не услышат Его голос на улицах.

21 And in his name will the peoples find hope.	21 И все народы будут надеяться на имя Его».
22 Then they brought near to him a lunatic, who was also dumb and blind; and he healed him, so that the dumb and blind man could speak and see.	22 И привели к Иисусу слепого и немого, одержимого бесом, и Он исцелил его. И тот человек заговорил и прозрел.
23 All the people were amazed and said, Perhaps this man is the son of David?	23 И дивился народ, говоря: «Может быть, Этот Человек и есть обещанный Сын Давидов?»
24 But when the Pharisees heard of it, they said, This man does not cast out demons, except by Beelzebub, the prince of demons.	24 Фарисеи, услышав это, сказали: «Он изгоняет бесов только властью Вельзевула, князя бесовского!»
25 But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them, Every kingdom which is divided against itself, will be destroyed; and every house or city that is divided against itself, will not stand.	25 Иисус знал их мысли и поэтому сказал им: «Любое царство, разделённое на части враждой, погибнет, и любой город и любая семья, раздираемая распрями, не устоит.
26 And if Satan cast out Satan. he is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand?	26 И если сатана изгоняет своих бесов, то, значит, он сам против себя выступает. Так как же устоит царство его?
27 So if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by what do your sons cast them out? for this reason they will be your judges.	27 И если правда то, что Я изгоняю бесов властью Вельзевула, то чьей же властью изгоняют их ваши люди? Так ваши собственные люди покажут, что вы неправы.
28 And if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come near to you.	28 Если же Я изгоняю бесов Духом Божьим, то это доказывает, что Царство Божье уже пришло к вам.
29 Or, how can a man enter into a strong man's house and plunder his goods, except he first bind the strong man, and then he plunders his house?	29 И если какие-либо люди захотят войти в дом сильного человека и украсть то, чем он владеет, то они сначала должны связать его. Только тогда они смогут разграбить его дом.
30 He who is not with me is against me; and he who does not gather with me, shall be dispersed.	30 Кто не со Мной, тот против Меня, и кто не собирает со Мной, тот расточает.
31 Therefore I say to you, that all sins and blasphemies will be forgiven to men; but the blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven to men.	31 И потому говорю вам: любой грех и злословие против Господа будут прощены, но злословие против Святого Духа не будет прощено.
32 And whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven, neither in this world nor in the world to come.	32 Тот, кто скажет слово против Сына Человеческого, может быть прощён. Тот же, кто скажет против Святого Духа, не будет прощён ни в этом веке, ни в будущем».
33 Either produce like a good tree with good fruits, or produce like a bad tree with bad fruits; for a tree is known by its fruits.	33 «Вы знаете, что для того, чтобы получить хорошие плоды, нужно хорошее дерево, а для того, чтобы получить плохие плоды, нужно плохое дерево. Ведь дерево распознаётся по его плодам.
34 O generation of scorpions, how can you speak good things when you are bad? For the mouth speaks from the fullness of the heart.	34 Отродья змеиные! Как вы можете сказать что-нибудь хорошее, если сами вы злые люди? Ведь слова идут от того, что наполняет сердце.
35 A good man brings out good things from good treasures, and a bad man brings out bad things from bad treasures.	35 Добрый человек произносит добрые слова, идущие из сердца, наполненного добром, в то время как злой черпает злые слова из сердца, наполненного злом.
36 For I say to you, that for every foolish word which men speak, they will have to answer for it on the day of judgment.	36 Но говорю вам, что в Судный день людям придётся отвечать за каждое неосторожно сказанное слово.
37 For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be found guilty.	37 На основании твоих слов ты будешь признан невиновным, и на основании твоих слов ты будешь осуждён».
38 Then some of the men of the scribes and Pharisees answered and said to him, Teacher, we would like to see a sign from you.	38 Тогда некоторые законоучители и фарисеи спросили Иисуса: «Учитель, мы хотели бы, чтобы Ты сотворил для нас знамение».

46 While he was speaking to the people, his mother and his brothers came and stood outside, and wanted to speak with him.	46 Пока Иисус говорил с народом, Его мать и братья стояли снаружи; они хотели поговорить с Ним.
47 Then a man said to him, Behold your mother and your brothers are standing outside, and they want to speak with you.	47 Кто-то сказал Иисусу: «Посмотри, Твоя мать и Твои братья стоят снаружи и хотят поговорить с Тобой».
48 But he answered and said to him who told him, Who is my mother and who are my brothers?	48 В ответ Он сказал говорившему: «Кто Моя мать и кто Мои братья?»
49 And he pointed his hand to his disciples and said, Behold my mother, and behold my brothers.	49 И, протянув руку к Своим ученикам, сказал: «Вот Моя мать и вот Мои братья!
50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven, he is my brother and my sister and my mother.	50 Да, тот, кто исполняет волю Моего Отца Небесного — Мой брат, сестра и мать!»
