ZechariahChapter 9 |
|
1 THE word of the LORD against the land of Hadrach and against Damascus, which shall be a gift to him; for to the LORD are revealed the ways of men and of all the tribes of Israel; |
|
2 Against Hamath also which borders Damascus, and Tyre and Sidon, though they have become very wise. |
|
3 Tyre has built herself a stronghold and heaped up silver like dust, and gold like the mire of the streets. |
|
4 Therefore, the LORD will destroy her and cast her wealth into the sea; and she shall be devoured by fire. |
|
5 Ashkelon shall see it and be afraid; Gaza also shall be very sorrowful, and Ekron; because her hope is confounded; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited. |
|
6 And strangers shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will bring to an end the pride of the Philistines. |
|
7 And I will take away their blood out of their mouths, and their abominations from between their teeth; and they also shall be a remnant for our God, and they shall be like the princes of Judah, and Ekron shall be as a Jebusite. |
|
8 And I will cause to dwell over my house a governor because of him who passes by, and because of him who returns; and no oppressor shall come against them any more; for now I have seen with my own eyes. |
|
9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you; he is righteous and a Saviour, lowly and riding upon an ass, upon a colt the foal of an ass. |
|
10 And he will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem, and the bow shall be broken in the battle; and he shall speak peace to the nations; and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth. |
|
11 As for you also, by the blood of your covenant you have set free the captives out of the pit wherein is no water. |
|
12 Dwell in the stronghold, O you prisoners of the congregation; I will recompense you double for a day's work. |
|
13 For I have bent my bow over Judah and filled my bow over Ephraim, and I have set your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece, and made Jerusalem like the sword of a mighty man. |
|
14 And the LORD shall be seen over the enemy, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning; and the LORD God shall blow the trumpet, and shall go in the whirlwind to the south. |
|
15 The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink trouble like wine; and they shall be filled like a bowl, and as the corners of the altar. |
|
16 And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people; for they were holy stones cast upon his land. |
|
17 How good and how excellent is wheat for the young men, and wine makes the maids cheerful. |

2 а також на Гама́т, що межує із ним, на Тир та Сидо́н, бо він став дуже мудрий. |
|
3 І Тир тверди́ню собі збудував, і срібла́ нагрома́див, як по́роху, а щи́рого золота — як багна́ на вулицях. |
|
4 Ось Господь зробить бідним його, і на морі поб'є його поту́гу, і він сам бу́де поже́ртий огнем. |
|
5 Побачить це Ашкело́н, та й злякається, і Азза́, і ду́же настра́шиться, і Екро́н, бо надія його засоро́миться. І згине цар із Аззи́, а Ашкело́н не буде засе́лений. |
|
6 І буде в Ашдо́ді сидіти байстрю́к, і Я ви́гублю гордість филисти́млян. |
|
7 І ви́кину кров його з його уст, а гидо́ту його з-між зубів його, і для нашого Бога доста́неться й він, і він буде, як князь той у Юді, а Екро́н — як євусе́й. |
|
8 І стану табо́ром біля Свого дому проти ві́йська, проти того, хто перехо́дить і хто верта́ється; і вже не пере́йде гноби́тель повз них, бо тепер Я це бачив Своїми очи́ма. |
|

10 І ви́гублю Я колесни́ці з Єфрема, і коня з Єрусалиму, і військо́вий лук зни́щений буде. І наро́дам Він мир сповісти́ть, а Його панува́ння — від моря до моря, і від Ріки́ аж до кі́нців землі. |
|
11 Також ти, — за кров заповіту твого́ Я пустив твоїх в'я́знів із ями, в якій немає води. |
|
12 До тверди́ні верніться, о в'я́зні надії! І сьогодні звіща́ю: Подві́йно тобі поверну́! |
|
13 Бо Юду собі натягну́, немов лу́ка, напо́вню Єфремом його́, і збуджу́ твоїх синів, Сіоне, на синів твоїх, Яване, і вчиню́ Я тебе за меча́ для лица́рства. |
|
14 А Господь з'я́виться над ними, і стріла́ Його ви́йде, як бли́скавка, і Господь Бог засурми́ть у сурму́, і пі́де півде́нними бу́рями. |
|
15 І Господь Саваот берегти́ме всіх їх, і вони поїдя́ть та пото́пчуть каміння, що ки́дається, і вони будуть пити та будуть шуміти, немов те вино, і будуть повні, як ча́ша жерто́вна, неначе ті ро́ги же́ртівника. |
|
16 І спасе їх Господь, їхній Бог, того дня, Свій наро́д, як ота́ру, бо вони, як каміння корони, засяють у Кра́ї Його. |
|
17 і що́ за добро Його бу́де, і що́ за краса́ Його! Збіжжя помо́же рости юнака́м, а дівчатам — вино молоде́. |

3 І Тир тверди́ню собі збудував, і срібла́ нагрома́див, як по́роху, а щи́рого золота — як багна́ на вулицях. |
|

4 Ось Господь зробить бідним його, і на морі поб'є його поту́гу, і він сам бу́де поже́ртий огнем. |

16 І спасе їх Господь, їхній Бог, того дня, Свій наро́д, як ота́ру, бо вони, як каміння корони, засяють у Кра́ї Його. |
|

17 і що́ за добро Його бу́де, і що́ за краса́ Його! Збіжжя помо́же рости юнака́м, а дівчатам — вино молоде́. |
