Глава 38

1 В те дни Езекия тяжело заболел и уже был при смерти. Пророк Исайя, сын Амоца, пришел к нему и сказал: «Вот что говорит ГОСПОДЬ: передай дела преемникам своим, ибо не выздороветь тебе — ты умрешь».

2 Ничего не ответил Езекия, отвернулся к стене и взмолился ГОСПОДУ:

3 «ГОСПОДИ, вспомни, как я верен был Тебе и от всего сердца делал то, что в Твоих глазах было праведно». Горько заплакал тут Езекия.

4 Тогда ГОСПОДЬ велел Исайе

5 передать Езекии такие слова: «Вот что сказал ГОСПОДЬ, Бог праотца твоего Давида: „Я услышал твою молитву и увидел слезы твои. Я продлю жизнь твою еще на пятнадцать лет.

6 И от ассирийского царя Я спасу тебя и этот город избавлю и защищу его!“»

21 После того Исайя велел: «Пусть принесут пластырь из смокв и приложат к нарыву, тогда Езекия поправится».

22 Езекия спросил: «Какое дашь знамение, что я еще приду в Храм ГОСПОДЕНЬ?» [7] «Вот тебе знак от ГОСПОДА, что Он исполнит обещанное: [8] тень от солнца, что спускается по ступеням Ахаза, Я поверну вспять, и она вернется на десять ступеней назад». И поднялась тень от солнца на десять ступеней, по которым она спустилась. [9] После того Езекия, царь иудейский, который болен был и оправился от своей болезни, написал: [10] «Думал я, что, едва прожив полжизни, должен сойти к вратам Шеола, лишен я остатка дней моих! [11] Говорил себе: не видать мне ГОСПОДА — ГОСПОДА на земле живых; на людей уже не глядеть и не быть мне среди обитателей этого мира. [12] Жилище мое с места сорвано, уносит его прочь, словно ветер — шатер пастуха; жизнь свою я свернул, словно ткач — полотно, и Он отрезает ее от станка; день и ночь приближают мой конец. [13] Я вопию о помощи до утра, но Он, как лев, мои кости крушит; день и ночь приближают мой конец. [14] Как ласточка или журавль, я кричу, стенаю, как голубь; устали глаза мои в небо смотреть — горько мне, Владыка мой, заступись! [15] Но что мне сказать? Что Он обещал, то и сотворил. Смиренно буду доживать свою жизнь из-за горести моей душевной. [16] Владыка, чем люди живут нынче, тем же и моя душа жива — вернул Ты мне и здоровье, и жизнь; [17] благом обернулась беда моя, любовь Твоя от гибельной ямы избавила, и все грехи мои Ты за спину Свою бросил. [18] Не в Шеоле благодарят Тебя, не мертвые прославляют Тебя и не те, кто в гроб нисходит, уповают на верность Твою. [19] Но кто жив, воистину живой благодарит Тебя, как ныне я Тебя благодарю; и да поведают отцы сыновьям своим о верности Твоей! [20] ГОСПОДЬ спасает меня, и до конца дней жизни нашей звучать не перестанут песни наши в Храме ГОСПОДНЕМ».

2 Then Hezekiah2396 turned5437 his face6440 toward413 the wall,7023 and prayed6419 unto413 the LORD,3068

3 And said,559 Remember2142 now,4994 O LORD,3068 I beseech thee,577 853 how834 I have walked1980 before6440 thee in truth571 and with a perfect8003 heart,3820 and have done6213 that which is good2896 in thy sight.5869 And Hezekiah2396 wept1058 sore.1419 1065

4 Then came1961 the word1697 of the LORD3068 to413 Isaiah,3470 saying,559

5 Go,1980 and say559 to413 Hezekiah,2396 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD,3068 the God430 of David1732 thy father,1 I have heard8085 853 thy prayer,8605 I have seen7200 853 thy tears:1832 behold,2009 I will add3254 unto5921 thy days3117 fifteen2568 6240 years.8141

6 And I will deliver5337 thee and this2063 city5892 out of the hand4480 3709 of the king4428 of Assyria:804 and I will defend1598 5921 this2063 city.5892

7 And this2088 shall be a sign226 unto thee from4480 854 the LORD,3068 that834 the LORD3068 will do6213 853 this2088 thing1697 that834 he hath spoken;1696

8 Behold,2009 I will bring again7725 853 the shadow6738 of the degrees,4609 which834 is gone down3381 in the sun8121 dial4609 of Ahaz,271 ten6235 degrees4609 backward.322 So the sun8121 returned7725 ten6235 degrees,4609 by which834 degrees4609 it was gone down.3381

9 The writing4385 of Hezekiah2396 king4428 of Judah,3063 when he had been sick,2470 and was recovered2421 of his sickness:4480 2483

10 I589 said559 in the cutting off1824 of my days,3117 I shall go1980 to the gates8179 of the grave:7585 I am deprived6485 of the residue3499 of my years.8141

11 I said,559 I shall not3808 see7200 the LORD,3050 even the LORD,3050 in the land776 of the living:2416 I shall behold5027 man120 no3808 more5750 with5973 the inhabitants3427 of the world.2309

12 Mine age1755 is departed,5265 and is removed1540 from4480 me as a shepherd's7473 tent:168 I have cut off7088 like a weaver707 my life:2416 he will cut me off1214 with pining sickness:4480 1803 from day4480 3117 even to5704 night3915 wilt thou make an end7999 of me.

13 I reckoned7737 till5704 morning,1242 that, as a lion,738 so3651 will he break7665 all3605 my bones:6106 from day4480 3117 even to5704 night3915 wilt thou make an end7999 of me.

14 Like a crane5483 or a swallow,5693 so3651 did I chatter:6850 I did mourn1897 as a dove:3123 mine eyes5869 fail1809 with looking upward:4791 O LORD,136 I am oppressed;6234 undertake6149 for me.

15 What4100 shall I say?1696 he hath both spoken559 unto me, and himself1931 hath done6213 it: I shall go softly1718 all3605 my years8141 in5921 the bitterness4751 of my soul.5315

16 O Lord,136 by5921 these things men live,2421 and in all3605 these2004 things is the life2416 of my spirit:7307 so wilt thou recover2492 me, and make me to live.2421

17 Behold,2009 for peace7965 I had great bitterness:4751 4843 but thou859 hast in love2836 to my soul5315 delivered it from the pit4480 7845 of corruption:1097 for3588 thou hast cast7993 all3605 my sins2399 behind310 thy back.1460

18 For3588 the grave7585 cannot3808 praise3034 thee, death4194 can not celebrate1984 thee: they that go down3381 into the pit953 cannot3808 hope7663 for413 thy truth.571

19 The living,2416 the living,2416 he1931 shall praise3034 thee, as I do this day:3117 the father1 to the children1121 shall make known3045 413 thy truth.571

20 The LORD3068 was ready to save3467 me: therefore we will sing my songs5059 to the stringed instruments5058 all3605 the days3117 of our life2416 in5921 the house1004 of the LORD.3068

21 For Isaiah3470 had said,559 Let them take5375 a lump1690 of figs,8384 and lay it for a plaster4799 upon5921 the boil,7822 and he shall recover.2421

22 Hezekiah2396 also had said,559 What4100 is the sign226 that3588 I shall go up5927 to the house1004 of the LORD?3068
