Глава 7

1 Ибо этот Мелхиседек, царь Салима, священник Бога Всевышнего, встретивший Авраама, когда тот возвращался после поражения царей, и благословивший его,

2 которому Авраам отделил десятину от всего, он, во-первых, согласно значению своего имени, царь праведности, а затем и царь Салима, что значит царь мира,

3 без отца, без матери, без родословия, не имеющий ни начала дней, ни конца жизни, но уподобленный Сыну Божию, пребывает священником навсегда.

4 Но смотрите, как велик тот, кому Авраам, патриарх, дал десятину из лучших добыч своих.

5 А поскольку получающие священство из сынов Левииных имеют заповедь брать по Закону десятину с народа, то есть с братьев своих, хотя и они произошли от чресл Авраамовых, —

6 тот, не происходящий от рода их, взял десятину с Авраама и благословил имеющего обещание.

7 А совершенно бесспорно, меньшее благословляется большим.

8 И здесь десятину берут смертные люди, а там Имеющий о Себе свидетельство, что Он жив.

9 И можно сказать, что и Левий, взимающий десятину, чрез посредство Авраама дал десятину:

10 ибо он был еще в чреслах отца, когда встретил его Мелхиседек.

11 Итак, если бы совершенство достигалось чрез левитское священство — ибо оно является основанием Закона для народа, — какая была бы еще нужда восставать иному священнику по чину Мелхиседека, а не по чину Аарона ему именоваться?

12 Ибо с переменой священства необходима бывает и перемена Закона.

13 Ибо Тот, о Ком это говорится, принадлежал к иному колену, из которого никто не служил жертвеннику.

14 Ибо известно, что Господь наш воссиял от Иуды, из колена, о котором Моисей не сказал ничего относительно священников.

15 И это еще яснее видно, если по подобию Мелхиседека восстает священник иной,

16 который стал им не по Закону заповеди плотяной, но по силе жизни непрестающей.

17 Ибо засвидетельствовано: Ты Священник вовек по чину Мелхиседека.

18 Ибо происходит и отмена прежней заповеди, вследствие её немощи и бесполезности —

19 ибо Закон ничего не довёл до совершенства, — и введение новой надежды, чрез которую мы приближаемся к Богу.

20 И поскольку не без клятвы — ибо те стали священниками без клятвы,

21 а Он с клятвой устами Того, Кто говорит Ему: клялся Господь и не раскается: Ты Священник вовек, —

22 постольку и лучшего завета поручителем стал Иисус.

23 И тех священников было много, потому что смерть мешала им пребывать.

24 Он же, как пребывающий вовек, имеет священство непереходящее.

25 Поэтому Он и может всесовершенно спасать приходящих чрез Него к Богу, будучи всегда жив, чтобы ходатайствовать за них.

26 Ибо такой и подобал нам Первосвященник: святой, непричастный злу, непорочный, отделённый от грешников и превознесённый выше небес,

27 Который не имеет нужды ежедневно, как те первосвященники, сперва за свои грехи приносить жертвы, затем за грехи народа: ибо это Он сделал раз навсегда, принеся Себя Самого.

28 Ибо Закон поставляет первосвященниками людей, имеющих немощь, а слово с клятвой, бывшей после Закона, поставило Сына вовек совершенного.

3 Without282 father,540 without282 mother,282 without35 descent,35 having2192 neither3383 beginning746 of days,2250 nor3383 end5056 of life;2222 but made871 like871 to the Son5207 of God;2316 stays3306 a priest2409 continually.1519 1336

4 Now1161 consider2334 how4080 great4080 this3778 man was, to whom3739 even2532 the patriarch3966 Abraham11 gave1325 the tenth1181 of the spoils.205

5 And truly3303 they that are of the sons5207 of Levi,3017 who3588 receive2983 the office2405 of the priesthood,2405 have2192 a commandment1785 to take tithes586 of the people2992 according2596 to the law,3551 that is, of their brothers,80 though2539 they come1831 out of the loins3751 of Abraham:11

6 But he whose descent1075 is not counted1075 from them received1183 tithes1183 of Abraham,11 and blessed2127 him that had2192 the promises.1860

7 And without5565 all3956 contradiction485 the less1640 is blessed2127 of the better.2909

8 And here5602 men444 that die599 receive2983 tithes;1181 but there1563 he receives them, of whom it is witnessed3140 that he lives.2198

9 And as I may so5613 say,2031 2036 Levi3017 also,2532 who3588 receives2983 tithes,1183 paid1183 tithes1183 in Abraham.11

10 For he was yet2089 in the loins3751 of his father,3962 when3753 Melchisedec3198 met4876 him.

11 If1487 therefore3767 perfection5050 were by the Levitical3020 priesthood,2420 (for under1909 it the people2992 received3549 the law,3549) what5101 further2089 need5532 was there that another2087 priest2409 should rise450 after2596 the order5010 of Melchisedec,3198 and not be called3004 after2596 the order5010 of Aaron?2

12 For the priesthood2420 being changed,3346 there is made1096 of necessity318 a change3331 also2532 of the law.3551

13 For he of whom3739 these5023 things4229 are spoken3004 pertains3348 to another2087 tribe,5443 of which3739 no3762 man3762 gave4337 attendance4337 at the altar.2379

14 For it is evident4271 that our Lord2962 sprang393 out of Juda;2455 of which3739 tribe5443 Moses3475 spoke2980 nothing3762 concerning4012 priesthood.2420

15 And it is yet2089 far4054 more4055 evident:2612 for that after2596 the similitude3665 of Melchisedec3198 there rises450 another2087 priest,2409

16 Who3739 is made,1096 not after2596 the law3551 of a carnal4559 commandment,1785 but after2596 the power1411 of an endless179 life.2222

17 For he testifies,3140 You are a priest2409 for ever165 after2596 the order5010 of Melchisedec.3198

18 For there is truly3303 a cancellation115 of the commandment1785 going4254 before4254 for the weakness772 and unprofitableness512 thereof.846

19 For the law3551 made5048 nothing3762 perfect,5048 but the bringing1898 in of a better2909 hope1680 did; by the which3739 we draw near1448 to God.2316

20 And inasmuch2596 3745 as not without5565 an oath3728 he was made5048 priest:2409

21 (For those3588 priests2409 were made1096 without5565 an oath;3728 but this with an oath3728 by him that said3004 to him, The Lord2962 swore3660 and will not repent,3338 You are a priest2409 for ever165 after2596 the order5010 of Melchisedec:3198)

23 And they truly3303 were many4119 priests,2409 because1223 they were not suffered2967 to continue3887 by reason of death:2288

24 But this3588 man, because1223 he continues3306 ever,165 has2192 an unchangeable531 priesthood.2420

25 Why3606 he is able1410 also2532 to save4982 them to the uttermost3838 that come4334 to God2316 by him, seeing he ever3842 lives2198 to make1793 intercession1793 for them.

26 For such5108 an high749 priest749 became4241 us, who is holy,3741 harmless,172 undefiled,283 separate5562 from sinners,268 and made1096 higher5308 than the heavens;3772

27 Who3739 needs2192 318 not daily,2596 2250 as those3588 high749 priests,749 to offer399 up sacrifice,2378 first4386 for his own2398 sins,266 and then1899 for the people's:2992 for this5124 he did4160 once,2178 when he offered up himself.1438

28 For the law3551 makes2525 men444 high749 priests749 which have2192 infirmity;769 but the word3056 of the oath,3728 which3588 was since3326 the law,3551 makes the Son,5207 who is consecrated5048 for ever more.3588 165

12 Ибо с переменой священства необходима бывает и перемена Закона.
