Псалом 31

1 Давидов. Учение. Блажен, кому прощено преступление, чей грех покрыт!

2 Блажен человек, которому Господь не вменяет вины, и в чьем духе нет лукавства!

3 Когда молчал я, измождились кости мои от вседневного стона моего;

4 Ибо день и ночь тяготела надо мною рука Твоя; потерялась свежесть во мне, как в летние жары. (Села).

5 Открыл я Тебе грех мой, и вины моей не утаил; я сказал: исповедаюсь пред Господом в преступлениях моих: и Ты снял с меня вину греха моего. (Села.)

6 Посему да умоляет Тебя всякий святый, когда можно найти Тебя: и тогда разлитие больших вод не достигнет его.

7 Ты - покров мой, Ты охраняешь меня от тесноты; окружаешь меня радостями избавления. (Села.)

8 Вразумлю тебя и укажу тебе путь, каким тебе идти, дам совет, око Мое на тебя.

9 Не будь как конь, как лошак несмысленный, которым уздою и удилами надобно обуздывать рот, если они не идут к тебе.

10 Много бед нечестивому, а уповающего на Господа окружает милость.

11 Радуйтесь о Господе, и ликуйте праведники, торжествуйте все правые сердцем.

Psalm 31

1 IN thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed; deliver me in thy righteousness.

2 Incline thine ear to me and answer me speedily; be thou unto me the God, the helper, and the house of refuge; and save me,

3 For thou art my strength and my refuge; therefore for thy name's sake comfort me and guide me.

4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid secretly for me; for thou art my protector.

5 Into thy hand I commit my spirit; thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.

6 I have hated them that observe false worship; but I trust in thee, O LORD.

7 I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy; for thou hast seen my humility; thou hast known my soul in adversities;

8 And thou hast not surrendered me into the hand of my enemies; thou hast established my feet in tranquility.

9 Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in distress; mine eye is troubled with wrath, yea, my soul and my body.

10 For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing; my strength is weakened because of poverty, and my bones are shaken because of my enemies.

11 I have become a reproach to my neighbors and a dread to my acquaintances: they that saw me on the street fled from me.
