Глава 8

1 Во время третьего года правления царя Велтасара мне, Даниилу, явилось другое видение.

2 В этом видении я видел, что нахожусь в городе Сузы, который был столичным городом в Еламской провинции. Находясь у реки Улай,

3 я увидел, что на берегу стоит баран с двумя длинными рогами; один из его рогов длиннее другого и растёт позади того рога.

4 Я наблюдал, как этот баран бодался во все стороны: на запад, север и юг. Никакой зверь не мог остановить его, и никто не мог спасти от него других животных. Баран делал всё, что хотел, и стал очень сильным.

5 Я думал об этом баране, и в то время, когда я наблюдал за ним, я увидел, что с запада идёт козёл. Этот козёл обегал землю, но его ноги едва касались земли. У него между глазами был один большой рог, который был виден отовсюду.

6 Козёл подошёл к барану, у которого было два рога и которого я видел у реки Улай. Козёл был в ярости и бросился на барана.

7 Я видел, как он бросился в ярости на барана и сломал оба его рога. Баран не смог остановить козла, тот повалил его на землю и растоптал. И не было никого, кто бы мог спасти барана от козла.

8 Козёл обрёл могущество и силу, но когда он стал сильным, то его большой рог сломался, и на его месте выросли четыре рога, обращенные на четыре стороны, которые были видны отовсюду.

9 От одного из этих четырёх рогов вырос ещё один рог, который очень разросся к югу, к востоку и к Прекрасной Земле.

10 Этот маленький рог стал очень большим и рос, пока не достиг неба. Он даже опрокинул на землю несколько звёзд и растоптал их.

11 Этот маленький рог стал очень сильным и обратился против Бога, Повелителя Небесного войска. Маленький рог остановил ежедневные жертвы, приносимые Повелителю, и разрушил Его храм.

12 Из-за этого греха ежедневные жертвоприношения прекратились, а истина была повержена на землю. Маленький рог во всём преуспевал.

13 Затем я услышал, как говорил один из святых, а другой святой отвечал ему. Первый сказал: «Сколько будут продолжаться события в этом видении? Как долго он будет останавливать ежедневные жертвоприношения, и как долго будет продолжаться этот губительный грех? Как долго он будет попирать храм и войско Небесное?»

14 А другой святой ответил ему: «Это будет происходить в течение двух тысяч и трёхсот дней. После этого святилище будет объявлено чистым».

15 Я, Даниил, увидел это видение и попытался понять его значение. Пока я обдумывал его, некто, походивший на человека, встал передо мной.

16 А затем я услышал мужской голос, который доносился из-за реки Улай. Этот голос взывал: «Гавриил! Объясни видение этому человеку».

17 Тогда Ангел Гавриил, который выглядел как человек, подошёл ко мне. Я очень испугался и упал на землю, но Гавриил сказал мне: «Сын человеческий, пойми, что это видение относится к концу времени».

21 козёл — царь Греции. Большой рог у него между глаз — первый царь.

22 Этот рог сломался, и вместо него выросли четыре других рога. Эти четыре рога — четыре царства, которые выйдут из народа первого царя. Но эти четыре народа не будут так сильны, как первый царь.

23 Когда конец этих царств будет близок, придёт ещё один царь: дерзкий, жестокий и коварный. Это случится, когда многие отвернутся от Бога.

24 Этот царь будет очень могущественным, но сила его не будет исходить от него самого. Этот царь произведёт ужасные опустошения. Ему будет удаваться всё, что бы он ни делал, и он уничтожит могущественных людей и даже святых людей Божьих.

25 Этот царь будет очень умён и коварен, и ложью он добьётся успеха. Будучи надменным, он возомнит себя очень важным и уничтожит много людей тогда, когда они этого меньше всего ожидают. Он даже попытается бороться с Владыкой владык (Богом). Сила этого жестокого царя будет сокрушена, но не рукой человека.

26 Видение об этих временах и о том, что я сказал, истинно. Но ты никому не рассказывай об этом видении, потому что всё это произойдёт ещё не скоро».

27 И я, Даниил, совсем изнемог после этого видения и несколько дней болел, но поправившись, я продолжил служить царю. Однако это видение очень расстроило меня, так как я не понимал его значения.

Chapter 8

1 In the third7969 year8141 of the reign4438 of king4428 Belshazzar1113 a vision2377 appeared7200 to me, even to me Daniel,1840 after310 that which appeared7200 to me at the first.8462

2 And I saw7200 in a vision;2377 and it came1961 to pass, when I saw,7200 that I was at Shushan7800 in the palace,1002 which834 is in the province4082 of Elam;5867 and I saw7200 in a vision,2377 and I was by the river180 of Ulai.195

3 Then I lifted5375 up my eyes,5869 and saw,7200 and, behold,2009 there stood5975 before6440 the river180 a ram352 which had two horns:7161 and the two horns7161 were high;1364 but one259 was higher1364 than4480 the other,8145 and the higher1364 came5927 up last.314

4 I saw7200 the ram352 pushing5055 westward,3220 and northward,6828 and southward;5045 so that no3808 beasts2416 might stand5975 before6440 him, neither369 was there any that could deliver5337 out of his hand;3027 but he did6213 according to his will,7522 and became1431 great.1431

5 And as I was considering,995 behold,2009 an he goat5795 came935 from the west4628 on the face6440 of the whole3605 earth,776 and touched5060 not the ground:776 and the goat6842 had a notable2380 horn7161 between996 his eyes.5869

6 And he came935 to the ram352 that had two horns,7161 which834 I had seen7200 standing5975 before6440 the river,180 and ran7323 to him in the fury2534 of his power.3581

7 And I saw7200 him come5060 close681 to the ram,352 and he was moved with choler4843 against413 him, and smote5221 the ram,352 and broke7665 his two8147 horns:7161 and there was no3808 power3581 in the ram352 to stand5975 before6440 him, but he cast7993 him down to the ground,776 and stamped7429 on him: and there was none3808 that could deliver5337 the ram352 out of his hand.3027

8 Therefore the he goat6842 waxed very5704 3960 great:1431 and when he was strong,6105 the great1419 horn7161 was broken;7665 and for it came5927 up four702 notable2380 ones toward the four702 winds7307 of heaven.8064

9 And out of one259 of them came3318 forth3318 a little4704 horn,7161 which waxed exceeding3499 great,1431 toward413 the south,5045 and toward413 the east,4217 and toward413 the pleasant6643 land.

10 And it waxed great,1431 even to the host6635 of heaven;8064 and it cast5307 down5307 some of the host6635 and of the stars3556 to the ground,776 and stamped7429 on them.

11 Yes, he magnified1431 himself even to the prince8269 of the host,6635 and by him the daily8548 sacrifice was taken7311 away,7311 and the place4349 of the sanctuary4720 was cast7993 down.

12 And an host6635 was given5414 him against5921 the daily8548 sacrifice by reason of transgression,6588 and it cast7993 down the truth571 to the ground;776 and it practiced,6213 and prospered.6743

13 Then I heard8085 one259 saint6918 speaking,1696 and another259 saint6918 said559 to that certain6422 saint which spoke,1696 How5704 long5704 shall be the vision2377 concerning the daily8548 sacrifice, and the transgression6588 of desolation,8074 to give5414 both the sanctuary6944 and the host6635 to be trodden4823 under foot?4823

14 And he said559 to me, To two thousand505 and three7969 hundred3967 days;6153 1242 then shall the sanctuary6944 be cleansed.6663

15 And it came1961 to pass, when I, even I Daniel,1840 had seen7200 the vision,2377 and sought1245 for the meaning,998 then, behold,2009 there stood5975 before5048 me as the appearance4758 of a man.1397

16 And I heard8085 a man's120 voice6963 between996 the banks of Ulai,195 which called,7121 and said,559 Gabriel,1403 make this1975 man to understand995 the vision.4758

17 So he came935 near681 where I stood:5977 and when he came,935 I was afraid,1204 and fell5307 on my face:6440 but he said559 to me, Understand,995 O son1121 of man:120 for at the time6256 of the end7093 shall be the vision.4758

18 Now as he was speaking1696 with me, I was in a deep7290 sleep7290 on5921 my face6440 toward the ground:776 but he touched5060 me, and set5975 me upright.5977

19 And he said,559 Behold,2005 I will make you know3045 what853 834 shall be in the last319 end of the indignation:2195 for at the time appointed4150 the end7093 shall be.

20 The ram352 which834 you saw7200 having1167 two horns7161 are the kings4428 of Media4074 and Persia.6539

21 And the rough8163 goat6842 is the king4428 of Grecia:3120 and the great1419 horn7161 that is between996 his eyes5869 is the first7223 king.4428

22 Now that being broken,7665 whereas four702 stood5975 up for it, four702 kingdoms4438 shall stand5975 up out of the nation,1471 but not in his power.3581

23 And in the latter319 time of their kingdom,4438 when the transgressors6586 are come to the full,8552 a king4428 of fierce5794 countenance,6440 and understanding995 dark2420 sentences,2420 shall stand5975 up.

24 And his power3581 shall be mighty,6105 but not by his own power:3581 and he shall destroy7843 wonderfully,6381 and shall prosper,6743 and practice,6213 and shall destroy7843 the mighty6099 and the holy6918 people.5971

25 And through5921 his policy7922 also he shall cause craft4820 to prosper6743 in his hand;3027 and he shall magnify1431 himself in his heart,3824 and by peace7962 shall destroy7843 many:7227 he shall also stand5975 up against5921 the Prince8269 of princes;8269 but he shall be broken7665 without657 hand.3027

26 And the vision4758 of the evening6153 and the morning1242 which834 was told560 is true:571 why shut5640 you up the vision;2377 for it shall be for many7227 days.3117

27 And I Daniel1840 fainted,1961 and was sick2470 certain days;3117 afterward I rose6965 up, and did6213 the king's4428 business;4399 and I was astonished8074 at5921 the vision,4758 but none369 understood995 it.

2 And I saw7200 in a vision;2377 and it came1961 to pass, when I saw,7200 that I was at Shushan7800 in the palace,1002 which834 is in the province4082 of Elam;5867 and I saw7200 in a vision,2377 and I was by the river180 of Ulai.195

3 я увидел, что на берегу стоит баран с двумя длинными рогами; один из его рогов длиннее другого и растёт позади того рога.

3 Then I lifted5375 up my eyes,5869 and saw,7200 and, behold,2009 there stood5975 before6440 the river180 a ram352 which had two horns:7161 and the two horns7161 were high;1364 but one259 was higher1364 than4480 the other,8145 and the higher1364 came5927 up last.314

4 I saw7200 the ram352 pushing5055 westward,3220 and northward,6828 and southward;5045 so that no3808 beasts2416 might stand5975 before6440 him, neither369 was there any that could deliver5337 out of his hand;3027 but he did6213 according to his will,7522 and became1431 great.1431

5 And as I was considering,995 behold,2009 an he goat5795 came935 from the west4628 on the face6440 of the whole3605 earth,776 and touched5060 not the ground:776 and the goat6842 had a notable2380 horn7161 between996 his eyes.5869

6 Козёл подошёл к барану, у которого было два рога и которого я видел у реки Улай. Козёл был в ярости и бросился на барана.

6 And he came935 to the ram352 that had two horns,7161 which834 I had seen7200 standing5975 before6440 the river,180 and ran7323 to him in the fury2534 of his power.3581

7 And I saw7200 him come5060 close681 to the ram,352 and he was moved with choler4843 against413 him, and smote5221 the ram,352 and broke7665 his two8147 horns:7161 and there was no3808 power3581 in the ram352 to stand5975 before6440 him, but he cast7993 him down to the ground,776 and stamped7429 on him: and there was none3808 that could deliver5337 the ram352 out of his hand.3027

8 Козёл обрёл могущество и силу, но когда он стал сильным, то его большой рог сломался, и на его месте выросли четыре рога, обращенные на четыре стороны, которые были видны отовсюду.

8 Therefore the he goat6842 waxed very5704 3960 great:1431 and when he was strong,6105 the great1419 horn7161 was broken;7665 and for it came5927 up four702 notable2380 ones toward the four702 winds7307 of heaven.8064

9 And out of one259 of them came3318 forth3318 a little4704 horn,7161 which waxed exceeding3499 great,1431 toward413 the south,5045 and toward413 the east,4217 and toward413 the pleasant6643 land.

10 And it waxed great,1431 even to the host6635 of heaven;8064 and it cast5307 down5307 some of the host6635 and of the stars3556 to the ground,776 and stamped7429 on them.

11 Yes, he magnified1431 himself even to the prince8269 of the host,6635 and by him the daily8548 sacrifice was taken7311 away,7311 and the place4349 of the sanctuary4720 was cast7993 down.

12 Из-за этого греха ежедневные жертвоприношения прекратились, а истина была повержена на землю. Маленький рог во всём преуспевал.

12 And an host6635 was given5414 him against5921 the daily8548 sacrifice by reason of transgression,6588 and it cast7993 down the truth571 to the ground;776 and it practiced,6213 and prospered.6743

13 Затем я услышал, как говорил один из святых, а другой святой отвечал ему. Первый сказал: «Сколько будут продолжаться события в этом видении? Как долго он будет останавливать ежедневные жертвоприношения, и как долго будет продолжаться этот губительный грех? Как долго он будет попирать храм и войско Небесное?»

13 Then I heard8085 one259 saint6918 speaking,1696 and another259 saint6918 said559 to that certain6422 saint which spoke,1696 How5704 long5704 shall be the vision2377 concerning the daily8548 sacrifice, and the transgression6588 of desolation,8074 to give5414 both the sanctuary6944 and the host6635 to be trodden4823 under foot?4823

14 А другой святой ответил ему: «Это будет происходить в течение двух тысяч и трёхсот дней. После этого святилище будет объявлено чистым».

21 And the rough8163 goat6842 is the king4428 of Grecia:3120 and the great1419 horn7161 that is between996 his eyes5869 is the first7223 king.4428

22 Этот рог сломался, и вместо него выросли четыре других рога. Эти четыре рога — четыре царства, которые выйдут из народа первого царя. Но эти четыре народа не будут так сильны, как первый царь.

22 Now that being broken,7665 whereas four702 stood5975 up for it, four702 kingdoms4438 shall stand5975 up out of the nation,1471 but not in his power.3581

23 Когда конец этих царств будет близок, придёт ещё один царь: дерзкий, жестокий и коварный. Это случится, когда многие отвернутся от Бога.

23 And in the latter319 time of their kingdom,4438 when the transgressors6586 are come to the full,8552 a king4428 of fierce5794 countenance,6440 and understanding995 dark2420 sentences,2420 shall stand5975 up.

24 Этот царь будет очень могущественным, но сила его не будет исходить от него самого. Этот царь произведёт ужасные опустошения. Ему будет удаваться всё, что бы он ни делал, и он уничтожит могущественных людей и даже святых людей Божьих.

24 And his power3581 shall be mighty,6105 but not by his own power:3581 and he shall destroy7843 wonderfully,6381 and shall prosper,6743 and practice,6213 and shall destroy7843 the mighty6099 and the holy6918 people.5971

25 Этот царь будет очень умён и коварен, и ложью он добьётся успеха. Будучи надменным, он возомнит себя очень важным и уничтожит много людей тогда, когда они этого меньше всего ожидают. Он даже попытается бороться с Владыкой владык (Богом). Сила этого жестокого царя будет сокрушена, но не рукой человека.

25 And through5921 his policy7922 also he shall cause craft4820 to prosper6743 in his hand;3027 and he shall magnify1431 himself in his heart,3824 and by peace7962 shall destroy7843 many:7227 he shall also stand5975 up against5921 the Prince8269 of princes;8269 but he shall be broken7665 without657 hand.3027

26 Видение об этих временах и о том, что я сказал, истинно. Но ты никому не рассказывай об этом видении, потому что всё это произойдёт ещё не скоро».

26 And the vision4758 of the evening6153 and the morning1242 which834 was told560 is true:571 why shut5640 you up the vision;2377 for it shall be for many7227 days.3117

27 И я, Даниил, совсем изнемог после этого видения и несколько дней болел, но поправившись, я продолжил служить царю. Однако это видение очень расстроило меня, так как я не понимал его значения.

27 And I Daniel1840 fainted,1961 and was sick2470 certain days;3117 afterward I rose6965 up, and did6213 the king's4428 business;4399 and I was astonished8074 at5921 the vision,4758 but none369 understood995 it.
