1 Затем Господь сказал Моисею:

2 «Вели Аарону поместить семь лампад на указанное Мной место, чтобы они освещали пространство перед светильником».

3 Аарон так и сделал: поместил лампады в нужном месте и поставил их так, чтобы они освещали пространство перед светильником, исполнив повеление, данное Господом Моисею.

4 Вот как был сделан светильник: он весь был сделан из чеканного золота, от золотого основания до золотых цветов, по образу, который Господь показал Моисею.

5 Господь сказал Моисею:

6 «Отдели левитов от остального народа Израиля и очисти их.

7 А чтобы очистить их, сделай вот что: окропи их особой водой приношения за грех. Эта вода очистит их, и пусть они обреют всё своё тело и выстирают свои одежды, и станут чистыми.

8 Пусть левиты возьмут бычка и хлебное приношение к нему, муку, смешанную с оливковым маслом, и пусть возьмут другого бычка для приношения за грех.

9 Приведи левитов к шатру собрания, а затем приведи туда же и весь народ Израиля.

10 Приведи левитов и поставь перед Господом, и пусть израильский народ возложит на них руки.

11 Пусть Аарон посвятит левитов и принесёт их как жертву Господу. Только тогда левиты будут готовы исполнить своё служение Господу.

12 Вели левитам возложить руки на головы быков, один из быков будет приношением Господу за грех, другой — для жертвы всесожжения Господу. Эти приношения очистят левитов.

13 Вели им встать перед Аароном и его сыновьями и соверши посвящение левитов Господу. Это будет как бы жертва, преподнесённая Богу,

14 и этот обряд сделает левитов святыми. Тогда они будут отличаться от всего израильского народа и будут принадлежать Мне.

15 Итак, очисти левитов и посвяти их Богу. Они будут подобны жертве, преподнесённой Господу, и после этого могут идти и служить при шатре собрания.

16 Израильтяне посвятят Мне левитов, и они будут принадлежать Мне. Ранее Я повелел, чтобы каждая израильская семья отдала Мне своего первенца, теперь же Я беру левитов вместо первенцев других семей Израиля.

17 Все первенцы мужского пола в Израиле — Мои, от человека до животного, так как Я погубил всех первенцев в Египте, людей и животных, и потому решил взять всех сыновей-первенцев, чтобы они принадлежали Мне.

18 Теперь же Я возьму всех левитов вместо всех первенцев из других семей Израиля.

19 Я выбрал левитов среди всего израильского народа и отдал их в дар Аарону и его сыновьям, чтобы они исполняли службы при шатре собрания, служили за весь народ Израиля и помогали во время принесения жертв, очищающих народ. И тогда ни тяжёлая болезнь, ни беда не постигнет израильтян, когда бы они ни пришли к святилищу».

20 Моисей, Аарон и весь израильский народ повиновались Господу и поступили с левитами так, как Господь повелел Моисею.

21 Левиты омыли свои тела и выстирали свои одежды, а потом Аарон совершил над ними посвящение Господу, как бы преподнеся их Богу. Аарон принёс жертвы, искупившие их грехи, и очистил их,

22 и тогда левиты вошли в шатёр собрания, чтобы исполнять своё служение. Аарон же с сыновьями следил за их работой, так как они были ответственны за служение левитов. Аарон и его сыновья исполнили всё, что Господь повелел Моисею.

23 Тогда сказал Господь Моисею:

24 «Вот особый закон о левитах: каждый левит от 25 лет и старше должен служить при шатре собрания.

25 Когда же человеку исполнится 50 лет, он должен оставить служение и может больше никогда не работать.

26 Те, кому 50 лет или больше, могут помогать своим братьям служить при шатре собрания, но сами не должны работать. Поступайте так, выбирая левитов для исполнения их трудов».

Chapter 8

1 THE LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 Speak to Aaron and say to him, When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the candlestick.

3 And Aaron did so; he lighted the seven lamps thereof in front of the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.

4 And the work of the candlestick was of molten gold; from its base to its flower was of cast work; according to the pattern which the LORD had shown to Moses, so he made the candlestick.

5 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

6 Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.

7 And thus you shall do to them to cleanse them: Sprinkle purifying water upon them, and let them shave all the body, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.

8 Then let them take a young bullock with its meal offering, a dish full of fine flour mixed with oil, and another young bullock shall you offer for a sin offering.

9 And you shall bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation; and you shall gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together;

10 Then you shall bring the Levites before the LORD; and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites;

11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering from the children of Israel, that they may perform the service of the LORD.

12 And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks, and you shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering to the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.

13 And you shall make the Levites stand before Aaron and before his sons, and offer them for an offering to the LORD.

14 Thus shall you separate the Levites from among the children of Israel; and the Levites shall be mine.

15 And after that the Levites shall go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and you shall cleanse them, and offer them for an offering before the LORD.

16 For they are wholly given to me as a gift from among the children of Israel; instead of all that open the womb, even instead of the first-born of all the children of Israel, have I taken them to me.

17 For all the first-born of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast; on the day that I smote every first-born in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.

18 And I have taken the Levites for all the first-born of the children of Israel.

19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation and to make an atonement for the children of Israel, that there be no plague among the children of Israel when they come near to the sanctuary.

20 And Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel did to the Levites according to all that the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites; so did the children of Israel to them.

21 And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them and cleansed them.

22 And after that the Levites went in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron and before his sons; as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did unto them the children of Israel.

23 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

24 This shall be the law for the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation;

25 And from the age of fifty years they shall cease from the service and shall serve no more,

26 But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation to keep guard, and shall do no service. Thus shall you do to the Levites concerning their charge.

1 THE LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 «Вели Аарону поместить семь лампад на указанное Мной место, чтобы они освещали пространство перед светильником».

2 Speak to Aaron and say to him, When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the candlestick.

3 Аарон так и сделал: поместил лампады в нужном месте и поставил их так, чтобы они освещали пространство перед светильником, исполнив повеление, данное Господом Моисею.

3 And Aaron did so; he lighted the seven lamps thereof in front of the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.

4 Вот как был сделан светильник: он весь был сделан из чеканного золота, от золотого основания до золотых цветов, по образу, который Господь показал Моисею.

4 And the work of the candlestick was of molten gold; from its base to its flower was of cast work; according to the pattern which the LORD had shown to Moses, so he made the candlestick.

5 Господь сказал Моисею:

5 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

6 «Отдели левитов от остального народа Израиля и очисти их.

6 Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.

7 А чтобы очистить их, сделай вот что: окропи их особой водой приношения за грех. Эта вода очистит их, и пусть они обреют всё своё тело и выстирают свои одежды, и станут чистыми.

7 And thus you shall do to them to cleanse them: Sprinkle purifying water upon them, and let them shave all the body, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.

8 Пусть левиты возьмут бычка и хлебное приношение к нему, муку, смешанную с оливковым маслом, и пусть возьмут другого бычка для приношения за грех.

8 Then let them take a young bullock with its meal offering, a dish full of fine flour mixed with oil, and another young bullock shall you offer for a sin offering.

9 Приведи левитов к шатру собрания, а затем приведи туда же и весь народ Израиля.

9 And you shall bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation; and you shall gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together;

10 Приведи левитов и поставь перед Господом, и пусть израильский народ возложит на них руки.

10 Then you shall bring the Levites before the LORD; and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites;

11 Пусть Аарон посвятит левитов и принесёт их как жертву Господу. Только тогда левиты будут готовы исполнить своё служение Господу.

11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering from the children of Israel, that they may perform the service of the LORD.

12 Вели левитам возложить руки на головы быков, один из быков будет приношением Господу за грех, другой — для жертвы всесожжения Господу. Эти приношения очистят левитов.

12 And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks, and you shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering to the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.

13 Вели им встать перед Аароном и его сыновьями и соверши посвящение левитов Господу. Это будет как бы жертва, преподнесённая Богу,

13 And you shall make the Levites stand before Aaron and before his sons, and offer them for an offering to the LORD.

14 и этот обряд сделает левитов святыми. Тогда они будут отличаться от всего израильского народа и будут принадлежать Мне.

14 Thus shall you separate the Levites from among the children of Israel; and the Levites shall be mine.

15 Итак, очисти левитов и посвяти их Богу. Они будут подобны жертве, преподнесённой Господу, и после этого могут идти и служить при шатре собрания.

15 And after that the Levites shall go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and you shall cleanse them, and offer them for an offering before the LORD.

16 Израильтяне посвятят Мне левитов, и они будут принадлежать Мне. Ранее Я повелел, чтобы каждая израильская семья отдала Мне своего первенца, теперь же Я беру левитов вместо первенцев других семей Израиля.

16 For they are wholly given to me as a gift from among the children of Israel; instead of all that open the womb, even instead of the first-born of all the children of Israel, have I taken them to me.

17 Все первенцы мужского пола в Израиле — Мои, от человека до животного, так как Я погубил всех первенцев в Египте, людей и животных, и потому решил взять всех сыновей-первенцев, чтобы они принадлежали Мне.

17 For all the first-born of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast; on the day that I smote every first-born in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.

18 Теперь же Я возьму всех левитов вместо всех первенцев из других семей Израиля.

18 And I have taken the Levites for all the first-born of the children of Israel.

19 Я выбрал левитов среди всего израильского народа и отдал их в дар Аарону и его сыновьям, чтобы они исполняли службы при шатре собрания, служили за весь народ Израиля и помогали во время принесения жертв, очищающих народ. И тогда ни тяжёлая болезнь, ни беда не постигнет израильтян, когда бы они ни пришли к святилищу».

19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation and to make an atonement for the children of Israel, that there be no plague among the children of Israel when they come near to the sanctuary.

20 Моисей, Аарон и весь израильский народ повиновались Господу и поступили с левитами так, как Господь повелел Моисею.

20 And Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel did to the Levites according to all that the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites; so did the children of Israel to them.

21 Левиты омыли свои тела и выстирали свои одежды, а потом Аарон совершил над ними посвящение Господу, как бы преподнеся их Богу. Аарон принёс жертвы, искупившие их грехи, и очистил их,

21 And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them and cleansed them.

22 и тогда левиты вошли в шатёр собрания, чтобы исполнять своё служение. Аарон же с сыновьями следил за их работой, так как они были ответственны за служение левитов. Аарон и его сыновья исполнили всё, что Господь повелел Моисею.

22 And after that the Levites went in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron and before his sons; as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did unto them the children of Israel.

23 Тогда сказал Господь Моисею:

23 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

24 «Вот особый закон о левитах: каждый левит от 25 лет и старше должен служить при шатре собрания.

24 This shall be the law for the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation;

25 Когда же человеку исполнится 50 лет, он должен оставить служение и может больше никогда не работать.

25 And from the age of fifty years they shall cease from the service and shall serve no more,

26 Те, кому 50 лет или больше, могут помогать своим братьям служить при шатре собрания, но сами не должны работать. Поступайте так, выбирая левитов для исполнения их трудов».

26 But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation to keep guard, and shall do no service. Thus shall you do to the Levites concerning their charge.
