2 For if1487 the word3056 spoken2980 by angels32 was steadfast,949 and every3956 transgression3847 and disobedience3876 received2983 a just1738 recompense3405 of reward;3405

3 wie4459 wollen wir2249 entfliehen1628, so wir eine solche5082 Seligkeit4991 nicht achten272? welche, nachdem sie erstlich746 geprediget ist950 durch1223 den HErrn2962, ist sie auf1519 uns2248 kommen durch5259 die3748, so es gehöret haben2983.

5 For to the angels32 has he not put5293 in subjection5293 the world3625 to come,3195 whereof4012 3739 we speak.2980

6 Es bezeuget aber1161 einer5100 an4225 einem Ort und2228 spricht3004: Was5101 ist2076 der Mensch444, daß3754 du sein gedenkest3403, und des846 Menschen444 Sohn, daß3754 du ihn846 heimsuchest?

7 Du4675 hast ihn846 eine5100 kleine Zeit1909 der Engel32 mangeln lassen1642; mit Preis1391 und2532 Ehren5092 hast du ihn846 gekrönet und2532 hast ihn846 gesetzt2525 über3844 die Werke2041 deiner Hände5495;

7 You made1642 him a little1024 lower1642 than3844 the angels;32 you crowned4737 him with glory1391 and honor,5092 and did set2525 him over1909 the works2041 of your hands:5495

8 alles3956 hast du untertan5293 zu863 seinen Füßen4228. In1722 dem, daß er846 ihm alles3956 hat3708 untertan5293, hat5293 er nichts3762 gelassen, das3956 ihm nicht3768 untertan5293 sei1161; jetzt3568 aber1063 sehen wir noch nicht, daß ihm alles untertan5293 sei.

8 You have put5293 all3956 things in subjection5293 under5270 his feet.4228 For in that he put5293 all3956 in subjection5293 under him, he left863 nothing3762 that is not put506 under506 him. But now3568 we see3708 not yet3768 all3956 things put5293 under5293 him.

9 Den3588 aber1161, der eine kleine Zeit der Engel32 gemangelt hat, sehen991 wir5100, daß3704 es JEsus2424 ist, durch1223 Leiden3804 des Todes2288 gekrönet mit Preis1391 und2532 Ehren5092, auf daß er von3844 Gottes2316 Gnaden5485 für5228 alle3956 den Tod2288 schmeckete.

9 But we see991 Jesus,2424 who3588 was made1642 a little1024 lower1642 than3844 the angels32 for the suffering3804 of death,2288 crowned4737 with glory1391 and honor;5092 that he by the grace5485 of God2316 should taste1089 death2288 for every3956 man.

10 Denn1063 es846 ziemete dem3739, um1223 deswillen alle3956 Dinge sind, und2532 durch1223 den alle3956 Dinge sind, der3739 da viel4183 Kinder hat zur1519 Herrlichkeit1391 geführet, daß er846 den Herzog747 ihrer Seligkeit4991 durch1223 Leiden3804 vollkommen5048 machte5048.

10 For it became4241 him, for whom3739 are all3956 things, and by whom3739 are all3956 things, in bringing71 many4183 sons5207 to glory,1391 to make5055 the captain747 of their salvation4991 perfect5048 through1223 sufferings.3804

11 Sintemal sie alle3956 von1537 einem kommen, beide, der1520 da2532 heiliget, und1063 die3739 da geheiliget werden37. Darum1223 schämet1870 er846 sich1870 auch5037 nicht3756, sie Brüder80 zu heißen2564,

11 For both5037 he that sanctifies37 and they who are sanctified37 are all3956 of one:1520 for which3739 cause156 he is not ashamed1870 to call2564 them brothers,80

12 und spricht3004: Ich will4571 verkündigen518 deinen Namen3686 meinen3450 Brüdern80 und mitten3319 in1722 der Gemeinde1577 dir4675 Lob singen.

12 Saying,3004 I will declare518 your name3686 to my brothers,80 in the middle3319 of the church1577 will I sing5214 praise5214 to you.

13 Und2532 abermal: Ich1473 will2071 mein Vertrauen3982 auf1909 ihn846 setzen. Und2532 abermal: Siehe2400 da, ich1473 und2532 die3739 Kinder3813, welche mir3427 GOtt2316 gegeben1325 hat.

13 And again,3825 I will put3982 my trust3982 in him. And again,3825 Behold2400 I and the children3813 which3739 God2316 has given1325 me.

14 Nachdem1893 nun3767 die Kinder3813 Fleisch4561 und2532 Blut129 haben2841, ist3348 er846‘s gleichermaßen3898 teilhaftig worden, auf daß2443 er durch1223 den Tod2288 die Macht nähme dem, der des Todes2288 Gewalt2904 hatte2192, das5123 ist2532, dem Teufel1228,

14 For as much1893 then3767 as the children3813 are partakers2841 of flesh4561 and blood,129 he also2532 himself846 likewise3898 took3348 part3348 of the same;846 that through1223 death2288 he might destroy2673 him that had2192 the power2904 of death,2288 that is, the devil;1228

15 und2532 erlösete die5128, so3745 durch1223 Furcht5401 des Todes2288 im ganzen3956 Leben2198 Knechte1397 sein1777 mußten2258.

15 And deliver525 them who3745 through fear5401 of death2288 were all3956 their lifetime2198 subject1777 to bondage.1397

16 Denn1063 er nimmt1949 nirgend3756 die Engel32 an sich, sondern235 den Samen4690 Abrahams11 nimmt1949 er an sich.

16 For truly1222 he took1949 not on1949 him the nature of angels;32 but he took1949 on1949 him the seed4690 of Abraham.11

17 Daher3606 mußte3784 er allerdinge seinen Brüdern80 gleich werden3666, auf2596 daß2443 er barmherzig1655 würde1096 und2532 ein1519 treuer4103 Hoherpriester749 vor GOtt2316, zu4314 versöhnen2433 die Sünde266 des Volks2992.

17 Why3606 in all3956 things it behooved3784 him to be made3666 like3666 to his brothers,80 that he might be a merciful1655 and faithful4103 high749 priest749 in things pertaining to God,2316 to make2433 reconciliation2433 for the sins266 of the people.2992

18 Denn1063 darinnen er846 gelitten3958 hat1722 und versucht3985 ist, kann1410 er helfen997 denen, die3739 versucht3985 werden.

18 For in that he himself846 has suffered3958 being tempted,3985 he is able1410 to succor997 them that are tempted.3985
