Chapter 8

1 There is therefore686 now3568 no3762 condemnation2631 to them which are in Christ5547 Jesus,2424 who walk4043 not after2596 the flesh,4561 but after2596 the Spirit.4151

2 For the law3551 of the Spirit4151 of life2222 in Christ5547 Jesus2424 has made1659 me free1659 from the law3551 of sin266 and death.2288

3 For what3588 the law3551 could102 not do, in that it was weak770 through1223 the flesh,4561 God2316 sending3992 his own1438 Son5207 in the likeness3667 of sinful266 flesh,4561 and for sin,266 condemned2632 sin266 in the flesh:4561

4 That the righteousness1345 of the law3551 might be fulfilled4137 in us, who walk4043 not after2596 the flesh,4561 but after2596 the Spirit.4151

5 For they that are after2596 the flesh4561 do mind5426 the things of the flesh;4561 but they that are after2596 the Spirit4151 the things of the Spirit.4151

6 For to be carnally4561 minded5427 is death;2288 but to be spiritually3588 4151 minded5427 is life2222 and peace.1515

9 But you are not in the flesh,4561 but in the Spirit,4151 if1512 so be that the Spirit4151 of God2316 dwell3611 in you. Now1161 if1487 any5100 man have2192 not the Spirit4151 of Christ,5547 he is none3756 of his.

10 And if1487 Christ5547 be in you, the body4983 is dead3498 because1223 of sin;266 but the Spirit4151 is life2222 because1223 of righteousness.1343

11 But if1437 the Spirit4151 of him that raised1453 up Jesus2424 from the dead3498 dwell3611 in you, he that raised1453 up Christ5547 from the dead3498 shall also2532 quicken2227 your5216 mortal2349 bodies4983 by his Spirit4151 that dwells1774 in you.

12 Therefore,686 3767 brothers,80 we are debtors,3781 not to the flesh,4561 to live2198 after2596 the flesh.4561

13 For if1437 you live2198 after2596 the flesh,4561 you shall die:599 but if1487 you through the Spirit4151 do mortify2289 the deeds4234 of the body,4983 you shall live.2198

14 For as many3745 as are led71 by the Spirit4151 of God,2316 they are the sons5207 of God.2316

15 For you have2192 not received2983 the spirit4151 of bondage1397 again3825 to fear;5401 but you have received2983 the Spirit4151 of adoption,5206 whereby1722 3739 we cry,2896 Abba,5 Father.3962

18 For I reckon3049 that the sufferings3804 of this3588 present3568 time2540 are not worthy514 to be compared with the glory1391 which shall be revealed601 in us.

19 For the earnest603 expectation603 of the creature2937 waits553 for the manifestation602 of the sons5207 of God.2316

20 For the creature2937 was made5293 subject5293 to vanity,3153 not willingly,1635 but by reason1223 of him who has subjected5293 the same in hope,1680

21 Because3754 the creature2937 itself846 also2532 shall be delivered1659 from the bondage1397 of corruption5356 into1519 the glorious1391 liberty1657 of the children5043 of God.2316

22 For we know1492 that the whole3956 creation2937 groans4959 and travails4944 in pain together4944 until891 now.3568

24 For we are saved4982 by hope:1680 but hope1680 that is seen991 is not hope:1680 for what a man5100 sees,991 why5101 does he yet hope1679 for?

25 But if1487 we hope1679 for that we see991 not, then do we with patience5281 wait553 for it.

26 Likewise5615 the Spirit4151 also2532 helps4878 our infirmities:769 for we know1492 not what5101 we should pray4336 for as we ought:1163 but the Spirit4151 itself846 makes5241 intercession5241 for us with groanings4726 which cannot215 be uttered.215

27 And he that searches2045 the hearts2588 knows1492 what5101 is the mind5427 of the Spirit,4151 because3754 he makes1793 intercession1793 for the saints40 according2596 to the will of God.2316

28 And we know1492 that all3956 things work4903 together4903 for good18 to them that love25 God,2316 to them who are the called2822 according2596 to his purpose.4286

29 For whom3739 he did foreknow,4267 he also2532 did predestinate4309 to be conformed4832 to the image1504 of his Son,5207 that he might be the firstborn4416 among1722 many4183 brothers.80

30 Moreover1161 whom3739 he did predestinate,4309 them he also2532 called:2564 and whom3739 he called,2564 them he also2532 justified:1344 and whom3739 he justified,1344 them he also2532 glorified.1392

31 What5101 shall we then3767 say2046 to these5023 things? If1487 God2316 be for us, who5101 can be against2596 us?

32 He that spared5339 not his own2398 Son,5207 but delivered3860 him up for us all,3956 how4459 shall he not with him also2532 freely give5483 us all3956 things?

33 Who5101 shall lay1458 any thing to the charge1458 2596 of God's2316 elect?1588 It is God2316 that justifies.1344

第8章

1 所以［therefore］，如今那些在基督耶穌裏不隨從肉體、只隨從靈行事［walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit］的就不定罪了。

2 因為賜生命之靈［Spirit of］的律，在基督耶穌裏釋放了我，使我脫離罪和死的律了。

3 律法既因肉體軟弱，有所不能行的，神就差遣自己的兒子，成為罪身的形狀，作了贖罪祭，在肉體中定了罪案，

4 使律法的義成就在我們這不隨從肉體、只隨從靈［Spirit］的人身上。

5 因為隨從肉體的人思想［mind］屬乎［of the］肉體的事，隨從靈［Spirit］的人思想［mind］屬乎靈［of the Spirit］的事。

6 以肉體為念［carnally minded］，就是死；以靈為意念［spiritually minded］，乃是生命、平安。

7 因意念屬乎肉體［Because the carnal mind］，就是與神為仇；都因［for it is］不服神的律法，也是不能服。

8 所以［So then］屬肉體的人不能得神的喜歡。

9 如果神的靈［Spirit］住在你們裏面［in］，你們就不屬肉體，乃屬乎靈［in the Spirit］了。人若沒有基督的靈［Spirit］，就不是屬基督的。

10 基督若在你們裏面［in］，身體就因罪而死，靈［Spirit］卻因義而活。

11 然而，叫耶穌從死裏復活者的靈［Spirit］若住在你們心裏，那叫基督［Christ］從死裏復活的，也必藉著住在你們裏面［in］的靈［Spirit］，使你們必死的身體又活過來。

12 弟兄們，如此［therefore］看來，我們並不是欠肉體的債去順從肉體活著。

13 你們若順從肉體活著，必要死；若靠著靈［Spirit］治死身體的惡行，必要活著。

14 因為凡被神的靈［Spirit］引導的，都是神的兒子。

15 你們所受的，不是奴僕的靈［spirit］，仍舊害怕；所受的，乃是兒女的靈［Spirit of adoption］，因此我們呼叫：「阿爸，父。」

16 靈［Spirit］與我們的心靈［spirit］同證我們是神的兒女；

17 既是兒女，便是後嗣，就是神的後嗣，和基督同作後嗣。如果我們和他一同受苦，也必一同［together］得榮耀。

18 我想，現在的苦楚不配與［are not worthy to］將來要顯於我們的榮耀比較［be compared with］了。

19 受造之物切切指望［earnest expectation］等候神的眾子顯出來。

20 因為受造之物服在虛空之下，不是自己願意，乃是因那叫他如此的，然而他們仍有盼望［in hope］，

21 因為［Because］受造之物必得［shall be］脫離敗壞的轄制，得進入［into］神兒女榮耀的自由［glorious liberty］。

22 我們知道一切受造之物一同歎息、勞苦，直到如今。

23 不但他們［they］，就是我們這有靈［Spirit］初結果子的，也是自己心裏歎息，等候得著兒女［adoption］的名分，乃是我們的身體得贖。

24 我們得救是在乎盼望；只是所見的盼望不是盼望，人所看見的何必再盼望呢［for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for］？

25 但我們若盼望那所不見的，就必忍耐等候。

26 照樣［Likewise］，我們的軟弱也［also］有靈［Spirit］幫助；我們本不曉得當怎樣禱告，只是靈［Spirit］親自用說不出來的歎息替我們禱告。

27 鑒察人心的，曉得靈［Spirit］的意思，因為靈［Spirit］照著神的旨意替聖徒祈求。

28 我們曉得凡事［all things］都互相效力，叫愛神的人得益處，就是按他旨意被召的人。

29 因為他預先所知道的人，就預先定下效法他兒子的模樣，使他兒子在許多弟兄中作長子。

30 預先所定下的人又召他們來；所召來的人又稱他們為義；所稱為義的人又叫他們得榮耀。

31 既是這樣，還有甚麼說的呢？神若幫助我們，誰能敵擋我們呢？

32 神既不愛惜自己的兒子，為我們眾人捨了，豈不也把凡物［all things］和他一同白白的賜給我們嗎？

33 誰能控告神所揀選的人呢？有神稱他們為義了［It is God that justifieth］；

34 誰能定他［he］的罪呢？有基督死了［It is Christ that died］，而且復活［risen again］，現今在神的右邊，也替我們祈求。

35 誰能使我們與基督的愛隔絕呢？難道是患難嗎？是困苦嗎？是逼迫嗎？是飢餓嗎？是赤身露體嗎？是危險嗎？是刀劍嗎？

36 如經上所記：我們為你的緣故終日被殺；人看我們如將宰的羊。

37 然而，靠著愛我們的主，在這一切的事上已經得勝有餘了。

38 因為我深信無論是死，是生，是天使，是掌權的，是有能的，是現在的事，是將來的事，

39 是高處的，是低處的，是別的受造之物，都不能叫我們與神的愛隔絕；這愛是在我們的主基督耶穌裏的。

羅馬書

第8章

1 所以［therefore］，如今那些在基督耶穌裏不隨從肉體、只隨從靈行事［walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit］的就不定罪了。

2 For the law3551 of the Spirit4151 of life2222 in Christ5547 Jesus2424 has made1659 me free1659 from the law3551 of sin266 and death.2288

2 因為賜生命之靈［Spirit of］的律，在基督耶穌裏釋放了我，使我脫離罪和死的律了。

3 For what3588 the law3551 could102 not do, in that it was weak770 through1223 the flesh,4561 God2316 sending3992 his own1438 Son5207 in the likeness3667 of sinful266 flesh,4561 and for sin,266 condemned2632 sin266 in the flesh:4561

5 因為隨從肉體的人思想［mind］屬乎［of the］肉體的事，隨從靈［Spirit］的人思想［mind］屬乎靈［of the Spirit］的事。

6 For to be carnally4561 minded5427 is death;2288 but to be spiritually3588 4151 minded5427 is life2222 and peace.1515

6 以肉體為念［carnally minded］，就是死；以靈為意念［spiritually minded］，乃是生命、平安。

9 如果神的靈［Spirit］住在你們裏面［in］，你們就不屬肉體，乃屬乎靈［in the Spirit］了。人若沒有基督的靈［Spirit］，就不是屬基督的。

10 And if1487 Christ5547 be in you, the body4983 is dead3498 because1223 of sin;266 but the Spirit4151 is life2222 because1223 of righteousness.1343

10 基督若在你們裏面［in］，身體就因罪而死，靈［Spirit］卻因義而活。

11 But if1437 the Spirit4151 of him that raised1453 up Jesus2424 from the dead3498 dwell3611 in you, he that raised1453 up Christ5547 from the dead3498 shall also2532 quicken2227 your5216 mortal2349 bodies4983 by his Spirit4151 that dwells1774 in you.

11 然而，叫耶穌從死裏復活者的靈［Spirit］若住在你們心裏，那叫基督［Christ］從死裏復活的，也必藉著住在你們裏面［in］的靈［Spirit］，使你們必死的身體又活過來。

12 Therefore,686 3767 brothers,80 we are debtors,3781 not to the flesh,4561 to live2198 after2596 the flesh.4561

12 弟兄們，如此［therefore］看來，我們並不是欠肉體的債去順從肉體活著。

13 For if1437 you live2198 after2596 the flesh,4561 you shall die:599 but if1487 you through the Spirit4151 do mortify2289 the deeds4234 of the body,4983 you shall live.2198

13 你們若順從肉體活著，必要死；若靠著靈［Spirit］治死身體的惡行，必要活著。

16 靈［Spirit］與我們的心靈［spirit］同證我們是神的兒女；

17 And if1487 children,5043 then2532 heirs;2818 heirs2818 of God,2316 and joint-heirs4789 with Christ;5547 if1512 so be that we suffer4841 with him, that we may be also2532 glorified4888 together.4888

17 既是兒女，便是後嗣，就是神的後嗣，和基督同作後嗣。如果我們和他一同受苦，也必一同［together］得榮耀。

31 既是這樣，還有甚麼說的呢？神若幫助我們，誰能敵擋我們呢？

32 He that spared5339 not his own2398 Son,5207 but delivered3860 him up for us all,3956 how4459 shall he not with him also2532 freely give5483 us all3956 things?

32 神既不愛惜自己的兒子，為我們眾人捨了，豈不也把凡物［all things］和他一同白白的賜給我們嗎？

39 是高處的，是低處的，是別的受造之物，都不能叫我們與神的愛隔絕；這愛是在我們的主基督耶穌裏的。
