1 Thus3541 said559 the LORD,3068 Go1980 and get7069 a potter's3335 earthen2789 bottle,1228 and take of the ancients2204 of the people,5971 and of the ancients2204 of the priests;3548

1 So spricht559 der HErr3068: Gehe1980 hin und3548 kaufe7069 dir einen irdenen2789 Krug vom Töpfer3335 samt etlichen von den Ältesten2205 des Volks5971 und von den Ältesten2205 der Priester

2 And go3318 forth3318 to the valley1516 of the son1121 of Hinnom,2011 which834 is by the entry6607 of the east2777 gate,8179 and proclaim7121 there8033 the words1697 that I shall tell1696 you,

2 und1121 gehe hinaus3318 ins Tal1516 Ben-Hinnom2011, das1697 vor dem Ziegeltor6607 liegt, und predige daselbst die Worte1696, die ich7121 dir sage,

3 And say,559 Hear8085 you the word1697 of the LORD,3068 O kings4428 of Judah,3063 and inhabitants3427 of Jerusalem;3389 Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Behold,2005 I will bring935 evil7451 on this2088 place,4725 the which834 whoever3605 hears,8085 his ears241 shall tingle.6750

3 und sprich559: Höret des HErrn3068 Wort1697, ihr3427 Könige4428 Judas und Bürger zu8085 Jerusalem3389! So spricht559 der HErr3068 Zebaoth6635, der GOtt430 Israels3478: Siehe, ich will ein solch Unglück7451 über diese Stätte4725 gehen935 lassen8085, daß, wer es hören wird, ihm die Ohren241 klingen sollen6750,

4 Because3282 834 they have forsaken5800 me, and have estranged5234 this2088 place,4725 and have burned6999 incense6999 in it to other312 gods,430 whom834 neither3808 they nor their fathers1 have known,3045 nor the kings4428 of Judah,3063 and have filled4390 this2088 place4725 with the blood1818 of innocents;5355

4 darum daß sie5234 mich verlassen5800 und4390 diese Stätte4725 einem fremden GOtt430 gegeben haben3045 und andern312 Göttern drinnen geräuchert6999 haben, die weder sie noch ihre Väter1 noch die Könige4428 Judas gekannt haben, und haben diese Stätte4725 voll unschuldigen5355 Bluts1818 gemacht.

5 They have built1129 also the high1116 places of Baal,1168 to burn8313 their sons1121 with fire784 for burnt5930 offerings to Baal,1168 which834 I commanded6680 not, nor3808 spoke1696 it, neither3808 came5927 it into5921 my mind:3820

5 Denn sie1129 haben dem Baal1168 Höhen1116 gebauet, ihre Kinder1121 zu verbrennen8313 dem Baal1168 zu Brandopfern5930, welches ich ihnen weder geboten6680 noch davon geredet habe1696, dazu in mein Herz3820 nie kommen5927 ist.

6 Therefore,3651 behold,2009 the days3117 come,935 said5002 the LORD,3068 that this2088 place4725 shall no3808 more5750 be called7121 Tophet,8612 nor The valley1516 of the son1121 of Hinnom,2011 but The valley1516 of slaughter.2028

6 Darum siehe, es wird die1121 Zeit3117 kommen935, spricht5002 der HErr3068, daß man diese Stätte4725 nicht mehr Thopheth8612 noch das Tal1516 Ben-Hinnom2011, sondern Würgetal heißen7121 wird.

7 And I will make void1238 the counsel6098 of Judah3063 and Jerusalem3389 in this2088 place;4725 and I will cause them to fall5307 by the sword2719 before6440 their enemies,341 and by the hands3027 of them that seek1245 their lives:5315 and their carcasses5038 will I give5414 to be meat3978 for the fowls5775 of the heaven,8064 and for the beasts929 of the earth.776

7 Denn ich will den Gottesdienst Judas und6098 Jerusalems3389 dieses Orts4725 zerstören1238 und will sie durchs Schwert2719 fallen5307 lassen vor ihren Feinden341 unter der Hand3027 derer, so nach ihrem Leben stehen1245, und will ihre Leichname5038 den Vögeln5775 des Himmels8064 und den Tieren5315 auf6440 Erden776 zu fressen3978 geben5414;

8 And I will make7760 this2063 city5892 desolate,8047 and an hissing;8322 every3605 one that passes5674 thereby5921 shall be astonished8074 and hiss8319 because5921 of all3605 the plagues4347 thereof.

8 und8047 will diese Stadt5892 wüst8074 machen7760 und zum Spott8322, daß alle, die vorübergehen, werden sich verwundern über5674 alle ihre Plage4347 und ihrer spotten8319.

9 And I will cause them to eat398 the flesh1320 of their sons1121 and the flesh1320 of their daughters,1323 and they shall eat398 every376 one376 the flesh1320 of his friend7453 in the siege4692 and narrow place,4689 with which834 their enemies,341 and they that seek1245 their lives,5315 shall straiten6693 them.

9 Ich will sie lassen ihrer Söhne1121 und1320 Töchter1323 Fleisch1320 fressen398, und einer376 soll des andern7453 Fleisch1320 fressen398 in der Not4689 und Angst4692, damit sie ihre Feinde341 und die, so nach ihrem Leben5315 stehen1245, bedrängen6693 werden.

10 Then shall you break7665 the bottle1228 in the sight5869 of the men582 that go1980 with you,

10 Und du sollst den Krug1228 zerbrechen7665 vor5869 den Männern582, die mit dir gegangen sind1980.
|
|
11 And shall say559 to them, Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts;6635 Even3602 so3602 will I break7665 this2088 people5971 and this2063 city,5892 as one breaks7665 a potter's3335 vessel,3627 that cannot3808 3201 be made7495 whole7495 again:5750 and they shall bury6912 them in Tophet,8612 till there be no369 place4725 to bury.6912

11 Und sprich559 zu ihnen: So3602 spricht der HErr3068 Zebaoth6635: Eben wie man559 eines Töpfers3335 Gefäß3627 zerbricht7665, das nicht mag wieder ganz werden7495, so will ich3201 dies Volk5971 und diese Stadt5892 auch zerbrechen7665, und sollen dazu im Thopheth8612 begraben6912 werden6912, weil sonst kein Raum4725 sein wird zu begraben.

12 Thus3651 will I do6213 to this2088 place,4725 said5002 the LORD,3068 and to the inhabitants3427 thereof, and even make5414 this2063 city5892 as Tophet:8612

12 So will5414 ich mit dieser Stätte4725, spricht5002 der HErr3068, und6213 ihren Einwohnern3427 umgehen, daß diese Stadt5892 werden soll gleichwie Thopheth8612.

13 And the houses1004 of Jerusalem,3389 and the houses1004 of the kings4428 of Judah,3063 shall be defiled2931 as the place4725 of Tophet,8612 because3605 of all3605 the houses1004 on whose834 roofs1406 they have burned6999 incense6999 to all3605 the host6635 of heaven,8064 and have poured5258 out drink5262 offerings to other312 gods.430

13 Dazu sollen die Häuser1004 zu Jerusalem3389 und430 die Häuser1004 der Könige4428 Judas ebenso unrein2931 werden6999 als die Stätte4725 Thopheth8612, ja, alle Häuser1004, da sie auf den Dächern1406 geräuchert haben5258 allem Heer6635 des Himmels8064 und andern312 Göttern Trankopfer5262 geopfert haben.

14 Then came935 Jeremiah3414 from Tophet,8612 where834 the LORD3068 had sent7971 him to prophesy;5012 and he stood5975 in the court2691 of the LORD's3068 house;1004 and said559 to all3605 the people,5971

14 Und da Jeremia3414 wieder von Thopheth8612 kam935, dahin ihn der HErr3068 gesandt7971 hatte5975 zu weissagen5012, trat er in den Vorhof2691 am Hause1004 des HErrn3068 und sprach559 zu allem Volk5971:

15 Thus3541 said559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Behold,2005 I will bring935 on this2063 city5892 and on all3605 her towns5892 all3605 the evil7451 that I have pronounced1696 against5921 it, because3588 they have hardened7185 their necks,6203 that they might not hear8085 my words.1697

15 So spricht der HErr3068 Zebaoth6635, der GOtt430 Israels3478: Siehe, ich will935 über diese Stadt5892 und6203 über alle ihre Städte5892 all das1697 Unglück kommen lassen8085, das ich wider sie559 geredet habe1696, darum daß sie halsstarrig7185 sind und meine Worte nicht7451 hören wollen.
