2 And he said559 to his mother,517 The eleven505 3967 hundred3967 shekels of silver3701 that were taken3947 from you, about which you cursed,422 and spoke559 of also1571 in my ears,241 behold,2009 the silver3701 is with me; I took3947 it. And his mother517 said,559 Blessed1288 be you of the LORD,3068 my son.1121

2 Der sprach559 zu seiner Mutter517: Die tausend und hundert3967 Silberlinge3701, die du zu dir genommen hast3947 und geschworen und gesagt559 vor meinen Ohren241, siehe, dasselbe Geld3701 ist3947 bei mir, ich hab‘s zu mir genommen. Da sprach559 seine Mutter517: Gesegnet sei1288 mein Sohn1121 dem HErrn3068!

3 And when he had restored7725 the eleven505 3967 hundred3967 shekels of silver3701 to his mother,517 his mother517 said,559 I had wholly6942 dedicated6942 the silver3701 to the LORD3068 from my hand3027 for my son,1121 to make6213 a graven6459 image and a molten4541 image: now6258 therefore I will restore7725 it to you.

3 Also gab er seiner Mutter517 die6942 tausend und hundert3967 Silberlinge3701 wieder7725. Und seine Mutter517 sprach559: Ich habe das Geld3701 dem HErrn3068 geheiliget von meiner Hand3027 für meinen Sohn1121, daß man ein Bildnis6459 und Abgott4541 machen6213 soll; darum so gebe ich‘s dir nun wieder7725.

4 Yet he restored7725 the money3701 to his mother;517 and his mother517 took3947 two hundred3967 shekels of silver,3701 and gave5414 them to the founder,6884 who made6213 thereof a graven6459 image and a molten4541 image: and they were in the house1004 of Micah.4319

4 Aber er gab5414 seiner Mutter517 das Geld3701 wieder7725. Da nahm3947 seine Mutter517 zweihundert3967 Silberlinge3701 und tat sie zu dem Goldschmied6884; der machte6213 ihr ein Bild6459 und Abgott4541, das war danach im Hause1004 Michas4321.

5 And the man376 Micah4318 had an house1004 of gods,430 and made6213 an ephod,646 and teraphim,8655 and consecrated4390 3027 one259 of his sons,1121 who became1961 his priest.3548

5 Und430 der Mann376 Micha4318 hatte also ein259 Gotteshaus1004 und4390 machte6213 einen Leibrock646 und3548 Heiligtum8655; und füllete seiner Söhne1121 einem die Hand3027, daß er sein Priester ward.

6 In those1992 days3117 there was no369 king4428 in Israel,3478 but every man376 did6213 that which was right3477 in his own eyes.5869

6 Zu der Zeit3117 war kein König4428 in Israel3478, und ein376 jeglicher tat6213, was ihn5869 recht3477 deuchte.

7 And there was a young5288 man out of Bethlehemjudah1035 of the family4940 of Judah,3063 who1931 was a Levite,3881 and he sojourned1481 there.8033

7 Es war aber ein Jüngling5288 von Bethlehem-Juda3063 unter dem Geschlecht4940 Judas; und er war ein Levit3881 und war fremd1481 daselbst.

8 And the man376 departed3212 out of the city5892 from Bethlehemjudah1035 to sojourn1481 where834 he could find4672 a place: and he came935 to mount2022 Ephraim669 to the house1004 of Micah,4318 as he journeyed.6213 1870

8 Er376 zog3212 aber aus der Stadt5892 Bethlehem-Juda3063, zu6213 wandern1481, wo er hin konnte4672. Und da er aufs Gebirge2022 Ephraim669 kam935 zum Hause1004 Michas4318, daß er seinen Weg1870 ginge,

9 And Micah4319 said559 to him, From where370 come935 you? And he said559 to him, I am a Levite3881 of Bethlehemjudah,1035 and I go1980 to sojourn1481 where834 I may find4672 a place.

9 fragte ihn Micha4318: Wo370 kommst du559 her935? Er antwortete559 ihm: Ich bin1980 ein Levit3881 von Bethlehem-Juda3063 und wandere, wo ich hin kann4672.

10 And Micah4319 said559 to him, Dwell3427 with me, and be to me a father1 and a priest,3548 and I will give5414 you ten6235 shekels of silver3701 by the year,3117 and a suit6187 of apparel,899 and your victuals.4241 So the Levite3881 went3212 in.

10 Micha4318 sprach559 zu ihm: Bleibe3427 bei mir, du sollst mein Vater1 und3548 mein Priester sein; ich will dir jährlich3117 zehn6235 Silberlinge3701 und benannte Kleider899 und deine6187 Nahrung4241 geben5414. Und der Levit3881 ging hin3212.

11 And the Levite3881 was content2974 to dwell3427 with the man;376 and the young5288 man was to him as one259 of his sons.1121

11 Der Levit3881 trat an2974, zu bleiben3427 bei dem Mann376; und er hielt den Knaben5288 gleichwie einen259 Sohn1121.

|
12 And Micah4318 consecrated3027 the Levite;3881 and the young5288 man became1961 his priest,3548 and was in the house1004 of Micah.4318
|
12 Und4390 Micha4318 füllete dem Leviten3881 die Hand3027, daß5288 er sein Priester ward; und3548 war also im Hause1004 Michas4318.

13 Then said559 Micah,4318 Now6258 know3045 I that the LORD3068 will do me good,3190 seeing3588 I have1961 a Levite3881 to my priest.3548
|
13 Und3548 Micha4318 sprach559: Nun weiß3045 ich, daß mir der HErr3068 wird wohltun3190, weil ich einen Leviten3881 zum Priester habe.
