1 The word1697 of the LORD3068 came1961 to me again, saying,559

2 What4100 mean you, that you use4911 this2088 proverb4911 concerning5921 the land127 of Israel,3478 saying,559 The fathers1 have eaten398 sour1155 grapes,1154 and the children's1121 teeth8127 are set on edge?6949

3 As I live,2416 said5002 the Lord136 GOD,3069 you shall not have occasion any more5750 to use4911 this2088 proverb4911 in Israel.3478

4 Behold,2005 all3605 souls5315 are mine; as the soul5315 of the father,1 so also the soul5315 of the son1121 is mine: the soul5315 that sins,2398 it shall die.4191

5 But if3588 a man376 be just,6662 and do6213 that which is lawful4941 and right,6666

6 And has not eaten398 on the mountains,2022 neither3808 has lifted5375 up his eyes5869 to the idols1544 of the house1004 of Israel,3478 neither3808 has defiled2930 his neighbor's7453 wife,802 neither3808 has come7126 near7126 to a menstruous5079 woman,802

7 And has not oppressed3238 any,376 but has restored7725 to the debtor2326 his pledge,2258 has spoiled1497 none3808 by violence,1500 has given5414 his bread3899 to the hungry,7456 and has covered3680 the naked5903 with a garment;899

8 He that has not given5414 forth on usury,5392 neither3808 has taken3947 any increase,8635 that has withdrawn7725 his hand3027 from iniquity,5766 has executed6213 true571 judgment4941 between996 man376 and man,376

9 Has walked1980 in my statutes,2708 and has kept8104 my judgments,4941 to deal6213 truly;571 he is just,6662 he shall surely live,2421 said5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

10 If he beget3205 a son1121 that is a robber,6530 a shedder8210 of blood,1818 and that does6213 the like251 to any one259 of these428 things,

11 And that does6213 not any3605 of those428 duties, but even1571 has eaten398 on the mountains,2022 and defiled2930 his neighbor's7453 wife,802

12 Has oppressed3238 the poor6041 and needy,34 has spoiled1497 by violence,1500 has not restored7725 the pledge,2258 and has lifted5375 up his eyes5869 to the idols,1544 has committed6213 abomination,8441

13 Has given5414 forth on usury,5392 and has taken3947 increase:8635 shall he then live?2425 he shall not live:2421 he has done6213 all3605 these428 abominations;8441 he shall surely die;4191 his blood1818 shall be on him.

14 Now, see,2009 if he beget3205 a son,1121 that sees7200 all3605 his father's1 sins2403 which834 he has done,6213 and considers,7200 and does6213 not such2007 like,

15 That has not eaten398 on the mountains,2022 neither3808 has lifted5375 up his eyes5869 to the idols1544 of the house1004 of Israel,3478 has not defiled2930 his neighbor's7453 wife,802

16 Neither3808 has oppressed3238 any,376 has not withheld2254 the pledge,2258 neither3808 has spoiled by violence,1500 but has given5414 his bread3899 to the hungry,7456 and has covered3680 the naked5903 with a garment,899

17 That has taken7725 off his hand3027 from the poor,6041 that has not received3947 usury5392 nor increase,8635 has executed6213 my judgments,4941 has walked1980 in my statutes;2708 he shall not die4191 for the iniquity5771 of his father,1 he shall surely live.2421

18 As for his father,1 because3588 he cruelly6233 oppressed,6231 spoiled1497 his brother251 by violence,1499 and did6213 that which834 is not good2896 among8432 his people,5971 see,2009 even he shall die4191 in his iniquity.5771

19 Yet say559 you, Why?4069 does not the son1121 bear5375 the iniquity5771 of the father?1 When the son1121 has done6213 that which is lawful4941 and right,6666 and has kept8104 all3605 my statutes,2708 and has done6213 them, he shall surely live.2421

20 The soul5315 that sins,2398 it shall die.4191 The son1121 shall not bear5375 the iniquity5771 of the father,1 neither3808 shall the father1 bear5375 the iniquity5771 of the son:1121 the righteousness6666 of the righteous6662 shall be on him, and the wickedness7564 of the wicked7563 shall be on him.

21 But if3588 the wicked7563 will turn7725 from all3605 his sins2403 that he has committed,6213 and keep8104 all3605 my statutes,2708 and do6213 that which is lawful4941 and right,6666 he shall surely live,2421 he shall not die.4191

22 All3605 his transgressions6588 that he has committed,6213 they shall not be mentioned2142 to him: in his righteousness6666 that he has done6213 he shall live.2421

23 Have I any pleasure2654 at all that the wicked7563 should die?4194 said5002 the Lord136 GOD:3069 and not that he should return7725 from his ways,1870 and live?2421

24 But when the righteous6662 turns away from his righteousness,6666 and commits6213 iniquity,5766 and does6213 according to all3605 the abominations8441 that the wicked7563 man does,6213 shall he live?2425 All3605 his righteousness6666 that he has done6213 shall not be mentioned:2142 in his trespass4604 that he has trespassed,4604 and in his sin2403 that he has sinned,2398 in them shall he die.4191

25 Yet you say,559 The way1870 of the LORD136 is not equal.8505 Hear8085 now,4994 O house1004 of Israel;3478 Is not my way1870 equal?8505 are not your ways1870 unequal?3808

26 When a righteous6662 man turns away from his righteousness,6666 and commits6213 iniquity,5766 and dies4191 in them; for his iniquity5766 that he has done6213 shall he die.4191

27 Again, when the wicked7563 man turns away from his wickedness7564 that he has committed,6213 and does6213 that which is lawful4941 and right,6666 he shall save2421 his soul5315 alive.2421

28 Because he considers,7200 and turns away from all3605 his transgressions6588 that he has committed,6213 he shall surely live,2421 he shall not die.4191

29 Yet said559 the house1004 of Israel,3478 The way1870 of the LORD136 is not equal.8505 O house1004 of Israel,3478 are not my ways1870 equal?8505 are not your ways1870 unequal?3808

30 Therefore3651 I will judge8199 you, O house1004 of Israel,3478 every376 one376 according to his ways,1870 said5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069 Repent,7725 and turn7725 yourselves from all3605 your transgressions;6588 so iniquity5771 shall not be your ruin.4383

31 Cast7993 away from you all3605 your transgressions,6588 whereby834 you have transgressed;6586 and make6213 you a new2319 heart3820 and a new2319 spirit:7307 for why4100 will you die,4191 O house1004 of Israel?3478

32 For I have no3808 pleasure2654 in the death4194 of him that dies,4191 said5002 the Lord136 GOD:3069 why turn7725 yourselves, and live2421 you.

2 Зачем вы прилагаете к земле Израилевой эту притчу, в которой говорится: отцы ели кислый виноград, а у детей на зубах оскомина?

3 Жив Я! говорит Господь Иегова, - не придется вам впредь говорить притчу сию у Израиля.

4 Ибо вот, все души Мои, как душа отца, так и душа сына, Мои; душа согрешающая, та только должна умереть.

5 Итак, если кто праведен, и поступает законно и праведно,

6 На горах не обедает, и на идолов дома Израилева не обращает взоров своих, и жены ближнего своего не сквернит, и с своею женою во время месячного очищения не сходится,

7 И человека не утесняет, должнику возвращает залог его, насильно не отнимает, хлеба своего дает голодному, и нагого прикрывает одеждою,

8 В рост не отдает, и надбавки не требует, от неправды отклоняет руку свою, суд человеку с человеком производит правильный,

9 По Моим указаниям ходит, и хранит Мои постановления, делая должное; то он праведник, он будет жив, говорит Господь Иегова.

10 Если же он имеет сына буйного, кровожадного, и сей делает что-нибудь из всего того,

11 Чего он сам не делал совсем, и на горах обедает, и жену ближнего своего сквернит,

12 Бедного и нищего притесняет, насильно отнимает, залога не возвращает, и на идолов обращает взор свой, делает мерзость,

13 В рост дает, и берет надбавку; и будет жить! Нет, он не должен жить. Кто делает все такие мерзости, тот должен умереть, кровь его да будет на нем.

14 Но вот, если кто у себя имеет сына, который видя все грехи отца своего, какие он делает, приходит в страх, и не делает подобного им,

15 На горах не обедает, на идолов дома Израилева не обращает взоров своих, жену ближнего своего не сквернит,

16 И человека не притесняет, залога не берет, и насильно не отнимает, - хлеба своего дает голодному, и нагого прикрывает одеждою,

17 От обиды бедному отклоняет руку свою, роста и надбавки не берет, исполняет Мои повеления, ходит по Моим указаниям, то сей не умрет за беззаконие отца своего, он будет жив.

18 А отец его, поелику любил притеснять, любил грабить брата, и недоброе делал среди народа своего, - вот он умрет за свое беззаконие.

19 Вы скажете: `почему же сын не несет вины отца своего`? Но сын поступает законно и праведно, все уставы Мои соблюдает, и исполняет их; он будет жив.

20 Душа согрешающая, она должна умереть; сын не несет вины отца, и отец не несет вины сына; правда праведного при нем и остается, и беззаконие беззаконного при нем и остается.

21 И беззаконник, если обратится от всех грехов своих, какие делал, и будет соблюдать все уставы Мои, и поступать законно и праведно, жив будет, не умрет.

22 Все преступления его, какие делал он, не припомнятся ему; в правде своей, которую будет делать, он будет жив.

23 Разве Я в самом деле желаю смерти беззаконника? говорит Господь Иегова. Не того ли, напротив, чтобы он отстал от путей своих, и был жив?

24 И праведник, если отступит от правды своей, и будет поступать худо, будет делать все те мерзости, какие делает беззаконник, может ли остаться жив? нет, все добрые дела его, какие он делал, не припомнятся; за беззаконие свое, какое делает, и за грехи свои, в каких грешен, должен он умереть.

25 Но вы скажете: `неправ путь Господа`. Послушайте, дом Израилев! Мой ли путь неправ? не ваши ли пути неправы?

26 Если праведник отступает от правды своей, и делает беззаконие, и за то умирает; то он и должен был умереть за беззаконие свое, которое стал делать.

27 И беззаконник, если обратился от беззакония своего, какое делал, и поступает законно и праведно, к жизни возвратит душу свою.

28 Ибо он увидел, и обратился от всех преступлений своих, какие делал; он должен быть жив, не должен умереть.

29 А дом Израилев говорит: `неправ путь Господа`! Мои ли пути неправы, дом Израилев? не ваши ли пути неправы?

30 Посему буду судить вас, дом Израилев, каждого по путям его, говорит Господь Иегова; обратитесь и обращайте друг друга от всех преступлений своих, чтобы нечестие не соделалось вашим низриновением.

31 Отвергните от себя все пороки свои, которыми опорочили себя, и сотворите себе новое сердце и новый дух; и зачем вам доводить себя до смерти, дом Израилев?

32 Ибо Я не хочу смерти умирающего, говорит Господь Иегова; но обратитесь, и живите!

3 Жив Я! говорит Господь Иегова, - не придется вам впредь говорить притчу сию у Израиля.

4 Behold,2005 all3605 souls5315 are mine; as the soul5315 of the father,1 so also the soul5315 of the son1121 is mine: the soul5315 that sins,2398 it shall die.4191

4 Ибо вот, все души Мои, как душа отца, так и душа сына, Мои; душа согрешающая, та только должна умереть.

5 Итак, если кто праведен, и поступает законно и праведно,

7 И человека не утесняет, должнику возвращает залог его, насильно не отнимает, хлеба своего дает голодному, и нагого прикрывает одеждою,

8 В рост не отдает, и надбавки не требует, от неправды отклоняет руку свою, суд человеку с человеком производит правильный,

9 Has walked1980 in my statutes,2708 and has kept8104 my judgments,4941 to deal6213 truly;571 he is just,6662 he shall surely live,2421 said5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

9 По Моим указаниям ходит, и хранит Мои постановления, делая должное; то он праведник, он будет жив, говорит Господь Иегова.

10 Если же он имеет сына буйного, кровожадного, и сей делает что-нибудь из всего того,

11 Чего он сам не делал совсем, и на горах обедает, и жену ближнего своего сквернит,

12 Бедного и нищего притесняет, насильно отнимает, залога не возвращает, и на идолов обращает взор свой, делает мерзость,

13 Has given5414 forth on usury,5392 and has taken3947 increase:8635 shall he then live?2425 he shall not live:2421 he has done6213 all3605 these428 abominations;8441 he shall surely die;4191 his blood1818 shall be on him.

13 В рост дает, и берет надбавку; и будет жить! Нет, он не должен жить. Кто делает все такие мерзости, тот должен умереть, кровь его да будет на нем.

14 Now, see,2009 if he beget3205 a son,1121 that sees7200 all3605 his father's1 sins2403 which834 he has done,6213 and considers,7200 and does6213 not such2007 like,

14 Но вот, если кто у себя имеет сына, который видя все грехи отца своего, какие он делает, приходит в страх, и не делает подобного им,

15 That has not eaten398 on the mountains,2022 neither3808 has lifted5375 up his eyes5869 to the idols1544 of the house1004 of Israel,3478 has not defiled2930 his neighbor's7453 wife,802

15 На горах не обедает, на идолов дома Израилева не обращает взоров своих, жену ближнего своего не сквернит,

16 Neither3808 has oppressed3238 any,376 has not withheld2254 the pledge,2258 neither3808 has spoiled by violence,1500 but has given5414 his bread3899 to the hungry,7456 and has covered3680 the naked5903 with a garment,899

16 И человека не притесняет, залога не берет, и насильно не отнимает, - хлеба своего дает голодному, и нагого прикрывает одеждою,

17 That has taken7725 off his hand3027 from the poor,6041 that has not received3947 usury5392 nor increase,8635 has executed6213 my judgments,4941 has walked1980 in my statutes;2708 he shall not die4191 for the iniquity5771 of his father,1 he shall surely live.2421

17 От обиды бедному отклоняет руку свою, роста и надбавки не берет, исполняет Мои повеления, ходит по Моим указаниям, то сей не умрет за беззаконие отца своего, он будет жив.

18 As for his father,1 because3588 he cruelly6233 oppressed,6231 spoiled1497 his brother251 by violence,1499 and did6213 that which834 is not good2896 among8432 his people,5971 see,2009 even he shall die4191 in his iniquity.5771

18 А отец его, поелику любил притеснять, любил грабить брата, и недоброе делал среди народа своего, - вот он умрет за свое беззаконие.

19 Yet say559 you, Why?4069 does not the son1121 bear5375 the iniquity5771 of the father?1 When the son1121 has done6213 that which is lawful4941 and right,6666 and has kept8104 all3605 my statutes,2708 and has done6213 them, he shall surely live.2421

19 Вы скажете: `почему же сын не несет вины отца своего`? Но сын поступает законно и праведно, все уставы Мои соблюдает, и исполняет их; он будет жив.

20 The soul5315 that sins,2398 it shall die.4191 The son1121 shall not bear5375 the iniquity5771 of the father,1 neither3808 shall the father1 bear5375 the iniquity5771 of the son:1121 the righteousness6666 of the righteous6662 shall be on him, and the wickedness7564 of the wicked7563 shall be on him.

20 Душа согрешающая, она должна умереть; сын не несет вины отца, и отец не несет вины сына; правда праведного при нем и остается, и беззаконие беззаконного при нем и остается.

21 But if3588 the wicked7563 will turn7725 from all3605 his sins2403 that he has committed,6213 and keep8104 all3605 my statutes,2708 and do6213 that which is lawful4941 and right,6666 he shall surely live,2421 he shall not die.4191

21 И беззаконник, если обратится от всех грехов своих, какие делал, и будет соблюдать все уставы Мои, и поступать законно и праведно, жив будет, не умрет.

22 All3605 his transgressions6588 that he has committed,6213 they shall not be mentioned2142 to him: in his righteousness6666 that he has done6213 he shall live.2421

22 Все преступления его, какие делал он, не припомнятся ему; в правде своей, которую будет делать, он будет жив.

23 Have I any pleasure2654 at all that the wicked7563 should die?4194 said5002 the Lord136 GOD:3069 and not that he should return7725 from his ways,1870 and live?2421

23 Разве Я в самом деле желаю смерти беззаконника? говорит Господь Иегова. Не того ли, напротив, чтобы он отстал от путей своих, и был жив?

24 But when the righteous6662 turns away from his righteousness,6666 and commits6213 iniquity,5766 and does6213 according to all3605 the abominations8441 that the wicked7563 man does,6213 shall he live?2425 All3605 his righteousness6666 that he has done6213 shall not be mentioned:2142 in his trespass4604 that he has trespassed,4604 and in his sin2403 that he has sinned,2398 in them shall he die.4191

24 И праведник, если отступит от правды своей, и будет поступать худо, будет делать все те мерзости, какие делает беззаконник, может ли остаться жив? нет, все добрые дела его, какие он делал, не припомнятся; за беззаконие свое, какое делает, и за грехи свои, в каких грешен, должен он умереть.

25 Yet you say,559 The way1870 of the LORD136 is not equal.8505 Hear8085 now,4994 O house1004 of Israel;3478 Is not my way1870 equal?8505 are not your ways1870 unequal?3808

25 Но вы скажете: `неправ путь Господа`. Послушайте, дом Израилев! Мой ли путь неправ? не ваши ли пути неправы?

26 When a righteous6662 man turns away from his righteousness,6666 and commits6213 iniquity,5766 and dies4191 in them; for his iniquity5766 that he has done6213 shall he die.4191

26 Если праведник отступает от правды своей, и делает беззаконие, и за то умирает; то он и должен был умереть за беззаконие свое, которое стал делать.

27 Again, when the wicked7563 man turns away from his wickedness7564 that he has committed,6213 and does6213 that which is lawful4941 and right,6666 he shall save2421 his soul5315 alive.2421

27 И беззаконник, если обратился от беззакония своего, какое делал, и поступает законно и праведно, к жизни возвратит душу свою.

28 Because he considers,7200 and turns away from all3605 his transgressions6588 that he has committed,6213 he shall surely live,2421 he shall not die.4191

28 Ибо он увидел, и обратился от всех преступлений своих, какие делал; он должен быть жив, не должен умереть.

29 Yet said559 the house1004 of Israel,3478 The way1870 of the LORD136 is not equal.8505 O house1004 of Israel,3478 are not my ways1870 equal?8505 are not your ways1870 unequal?3808

29 А дом Израилев говорит: `неправ путь Господа`! Мои ли пути неправы, дом Израилев? не ваши ли пути неправы?

30 Therefore3651 I will judge8199 you, O house1004 of Israel,3478 every376 one376 according to his ways,1870 said5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069 Repent,7725 and turn7725 yourselves from all3605 your transgressions;6588 so iniquity5771 shall not be your ruin.4383

30 Посему буду судить вас, дом Израилев, каждого по путям его, говорит Господь Иегова; обратитесь и обращайте друг друга от всех преступлений своих, чтобы нечестие не соделалось вашим низриновением.

31 Cast7993 away from you all3605 your transgressions,6588 whereby834 you have transgressed;6586 and make6213 you a new2319 heart3820 and a new2319 spirit:7307 for why4100 will you die,4191 O house1004 of Israel?3478

31 Отвергните от себя все пороки свои, которыми опорочили себя, и сотворите себе новое сердце и новый дух; и зачем вам доводить себя до смерти, дом Израилев?

32 For I have no3808 pleasure2654 in the death4194 of him that dies,4191 said5002 the Lord136 GOD:3069 why turn7725 yourselves, and live2421 you.

32 Ибо Я не хочу смерти умирающего, говорит Господь Иегова; но обратитесь, и живите!
