1 And it came1961 to pass, when834 all3605 the people1471 were clean8552 passed5674 over5674 Jordan,3383 that the LORD3068 spoke559 to Joshua,3091 saying,559

2 Take3947 you twelve8147 6240 men582 out of the people,5971 out of every tribe7626 a man,376

3 And command6680 you them, saying,559 Take5375 you hence2088 out of the middle8432 of Jordan,3383 out of the place where the priests'3548 feet7272 stood4673 firm,3559 twelve8147 6240 stones,68 and you shall carry5674 them over5674 with you, and leave5117 them in the lodging4411 place, where834 you shall lodge3885 this night.3915

4 Then Joshua3091 called7121 the twelve8147 6240 men,376 whom834 he had prepared3559 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 out of every tribe7626 a man:376

5 And Joshua3091 said559 to them, Pass5674 over5674 before6440 the ark727 of the LORD3068 your God430 into413 the middle8432 of Jordan,3383 and take7311 you up every man376 of you a stone68 on his shoulder,7926 according to the number4557 of the tribes7626 of the children1121 of Israel:3478

6 That this2063 may be a sign226 among7130 you, that when3588 your children1121 ask7592 their fathers in time4279 to come,4279 saying,559 What4100 mean you by these428 stones?68

7 Then you shall answer559 them, That the waters4325 of Jordan3383 were cut3772 off before6440 the ark727 of the covenant1285 of the LORD;3068 when it passed5674 over5674 Jordan,3383 the waters4325 of Jordan3383 were cut3772 off: and these428 stones68 shall be for a memorial2146 to the children1121 of Israel3478 for ever.5769

8 And the children1121 of Israel3478 did6213 so3651 as Joshua3091 commanded,6680 and took5375 up twelve8147 6240 stones68 out of the middle8432 of Jordan,3383 as the LORD3068 spoke1696 to Joshua,3091 according to the number4557 of the tribes7626 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 and carried5674 them over5674 with them to the place where413 they lodged,4411 and laid3240 them down there.8033

9 And Joshua3091 set6965 up twelve8147 6240 stones68 in the middle8432 of Jordan,3383 in the place where the feet7272 of the priests3548 which bore5375 the ark727 of the covenant1285 stood:4673 and they are there8033 to this2063 day.3117

10 For the priests3548 which bore5375 the ark727 stood5975 in the middle8432 of Jordan,3383 until5704 every3605 thing1697 was finished8552 that the LORD3068 commanded6680 Joshua3091 to speak1696 to the people,5971 according to all3605 that Moses4872 commanded6680 Joshua:3091 and the people5971 hurried4116 and passed5674 over.5674

11 And it came1961 to pass, when834 all3605 the people5971 were clean8552 passed5674 over,5674 that the ark727 of the LORD3068 passed5674 over,5674 and the priests,3548 in the presence6440 of the people.5971

12 And the children1121 of Reuben,7205 and the children1121 of Gad,1410 and half2677 the tribe7626 of Manasseh,4519 passed5674 over5674 armed2571 before6440 the children1121 of Israel,3478 as Moses4872 spoke1696 to them:

13 About forty705 thousand505 prepared2502 for war6635 passed5674 over5674 before6440 the LORD3068 to battle,4421 to the plains6160 of Jericho.3405

14 On that day3117 the LORD3068 magnified1431 Joshua3091 in the sight5869 of all3605 Israel;3478 and they feared3372 him, as they feared3372 Moses,4872 all3605 the days3117 of his life.2416

15 And the LORD3068 spoke559 to Joshua,3091 saying,559

16 Command6680 the priests3548 that bear5375 the ark727 of the testimony,5715 that they come5927 up out of Jordan.3383

17 Joshua3091 therefore commanded6680 the priests,3548 saying,559 Come5927 you up out of Jordan.3383

18 And it came1961 to pass, when the priests3548 that bore5375 the ark727 of the covenant1285 of the LORD3068 were come5927 up out of the middle8432 of Jordan,3383 and the soles3709 of the priests'3548 feet7272 were lifted5423 up to the dry2724 land, that the waters4325 of Jordan3383 returned7725 to their place,4725 and flowed3212 over5921 all3605 his banks,1415 as they did before.8543 8032

19 And the people5971 came5927 up out of Jordan3383 on the tenth6218 day of the first7223 month,2320 and encamped2583 in Gilgal,1537 in the east4217 border7097 of Jericho.3405

20 And those428 twelve8147 6240 stones,68 which834 they took3947 out of Jordan,3383 did Joshua3091 pitch6965 in Gilgal.1537

21 And he spoke559 to the children1121 of Israel,3478 saying,559 When834 your children1121 shall ask7592 their fathers1 in time4279 to come,4279 saying,559 What4100 mean these428 stones?68

22 Then you shall let your children1121 know,3045 saying,559 Israel3478 came5674 over5674 this2088 Jordan3383 on dry3004 land.

23 For the LORD3068 your God430 dried3001 up the waters4325 of Jordan3383 from before6440 you, until5704 you were passed5674 over,5674 as the LORD3068 your God430 did6213 to the Red5488 sea,3220 which834 he dried3001 up from before6440 us, until5704 we were gone5674 over:5674

24 That all3605 the people5971 of the earth776 might know3045 the hand3027 of the LORD,3068 that it is mighty:2389 that you might fear3372 the LORD3068 your God430 for ever.3605 3117

1 Когда весь народ перешел чрез Иордан, Господь сказал Иисусу:

2 Возьмите себе из народа двенадцать человек, по одному человеку из [каждого] колена,

3 И дайте им повеление и скажите: возьмите себе отсюда, из среды Иордана, где стояли ноги священников неподвижно, двенадцать камней и перенесите их с собою, и положите их на ночлеге, где будете ночевать в сию ночь.

4 Иисус призвал двенадцать человек, которых назначил из сынов Израилевых, по одному человеку из [каждого] колена;

5 И сказал им Иисус: пойдите [предо мною] пред ковчегом Иеговы, Бога вашего, в средину Иордана и [возьмите оттуда] и положите на плечо свое каждый по одному камню, по числу колен сынов Израилевых,

6 Чтобы это было у вас [лежащим всегда] знамением. Когда спросят вас в последующее время сыны ваши и скажут: к чему у вас сии камни?

7 Вы скажете им: в память того , что вода Иордана иссякла пред ковчегом завета Господа [всей земли]; когда он переходил чрез Иордан, тогда вода Иордана иссякла. Таким образом камни сии будут [у вас] для сынов Израилевых памятником навек.

8 И сделали сыны Израилевы так, как приказал Иисус: взяли двенадцать камней из Иордана, как говорил Господь Иисусу, по числу колен сынов Израилевых, и перенесли их с собою на ночлег, и положили их там.

9 И [другие] двенадцать камней поставил Иисус среди Иордана на месте, где стояли ноги священников, несших ковчег завета [Господня]. Они там и до сего дня.

10 Священники, несшие ковчег [завета Господня], стояли среди Иордана, пока не кончено было [Иисусом] все, что Господь повелел Иисусу сказать народу, так как завещал Моисей Иисусу; а между тем народ поспешно переходил,

11 Когда весь народ перешел [Иордан], тогда перешел и ковчег [завета] Господня, и священники стали пред народом.

12 И сыны Рувима и сыны Гада и половина колена Манассиина перешли вооруженные пред сынами Израилевыми, как говорил им Моисей.

13 Около сорока тысяч вооруженных на брань перешло пред Господом на равнины Иерихонские, чтоб сразиться.

14 В тот день прославил Господь Иисуса пред очами всего Израиля, и стали бояться его, как боялись Моисея, во все дни жизни его.

15 И сказал Господь Иисусу:

16 Прикажи священникам, несущим ковчег откровения, выдти из Иордана.

17 Иисус приказал священникам и сказал: выдьте из Иордана.

18 И когда священники, несшие ковчег завета Господня, вышли из Иордана, то лишь только стопы ног их ступили на сушу, вода Иордана возвратилась в свое место и пошла, как вчера и третьего дня, выше всех берегов своих.

19 И вышел народ из Иордана в десятый [день] первого месяца и поставил стан в Галгале, на восточной стороне Иерихона.

20 И двенадцать камней, которые взяли они из Иордана, Иисус поставил в Галгале.

21 И сказал сынам Израилевым: когда спросят в последующее время сыны ваши отцев своих, что значат сии камни?

22 Скажите сынам вашим: Израиль перешел чрез Иордан сей по суше.

23 Ибо Иегова, Бог ваш, иссушил воды Иордана для вас, доколе вы не перешли его, так как Иегова, Бог ваш, сделал с Чермным морем, которое иссушил [Иегова, Бог ваш], пред нами, доколе мы не перешли его,

24 Дабы все народы земли познали, что рука Господня сильна, и дабы вы боялись Иеговы, Бога вашего, во все дни.

2 Возьмите себе из народа двенадцать человек, по одному человеку из [каждого] колена,

3 И дайте им повеление и скажите: возьмите себе отсюда, из среды Иордана, где стояли ноги священников неподвижно, двенадцать камней и перенесите их с собою, и положите их на ночлеге, где будете ночевать в сию ночь.

4 Then Joshua3091 called7121 the twelve8147 6240 men,376 whom834 he had prepared3559 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 out of every tribe7626 a man:376

4 Иисус призвал двенадцать человек, которых назначил из сынов Израилевых, по одному человеку из [каждого] колена;

5 И сказал им Иисус: пойдите [предо мною] пред ковчегом Иеговы, Бога вашего, в средину Иордана и [возьмите оттуда] и положите на плечо свое каждый по одному камню, по числу колен сынов Израилевых,

6 Чтобы это было у вас [лежащим всегда] знамением. Когда спросят вас в последующее время сыны ваши и скажут: к чему у вас сии камни?

7 Then you shall answer559 them, That the waters4325 of Jordan3383 were cut3772 off before6440 the ark727 of the covenant1285 of the LORD;3068 when it passed5674 over5674 Jordan,3383 the waters4325 of Jordan3383 were cut3772 off: and these428 stones68 shall be for a memorial2146 to the children1121 of Israel3478 for ever.5769

7 Вы скажете им: в память того , что вода Иордана иссякла пред ковчегом завета Господа [всей земли]; когда он переходил чрез Иордан, тогда вода Иордана иссякла. Таким образом камни сии будут [у вас] для сынов Израилевых памятником навек.

8 And the children1121 of Israel3478 did6213 so3651 as Joshua3091 commanded,6680 and took5375 up twelve8147 6240 stones68 out of the middle8432 of Jordan,3383 as the LORD3068 spoke1696 to Joshua,3091 according to the number4557 of the tribes7626 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 and carried5674 them over5674 with them to the place where413 they lodged,4411 and laid3240 them down there.8033

8 И сделали сыны Израилевы так, как приказал Иисус: взяли двенадцать камней из Иордана, как говорил Господь Иисусу, по числу колен сынов Израилевых, и перенесли их с собою на ночлег, и положили их там.

9 И [другие] двенадцать камней поставил Иисус среди Иордана на месте, где стояли ноги священников, несших ковчег завета [Господня]. Они там и до сего дня.

10 For the priests3548 which bore5375 the ark727 stood5975 in the middle8432 of Jordan,3383 until5704 every3605 thing1697 was finished8552 that the LORD3068 commanded6680 Joshua3091 to speak1696 to the people,5971 according to all3605 that Moses4872 commanded6680 Joshua:3091 and the people5971 hurried4116 and passed5674 over.5674

10 Священники, несшие ковчег [завета Господня], стояли среди Иордана, пока не кончено было [Иисусом] все, что Господь повелел Иисусу сказать народу, так как завещал Моисей Иисусу; а между тем народ поспешно переходил,

11 And it came1961 to pass, when834 all3605 the people5971 were clean8552 passed5674 over,5674 that the ark727 of the LORD3068 passed5674 over,5674 and the priests,3548 in the presence6440 of the people.5971

11 Когда весь народ перешел [Иордан], тогда перешел и ковчег [завета] Господня, и священники стали пред народом.

12 И сыны Рувима и сыны Гада и половина колена Манассиина перешли вооруженные пред сынами Израилевыми, как говорил им Моисей.

13 Около сорока тысяч вооруженных на брань перешло пред Господом на равнины Иерихонские, чтоб сразиться.

14 On that day3117 the LORD3068 magnified1431 Joshua3091 in the sight5869 of all3605 Israel;3478 and they feared3372 him, as they feared3372 Moses,4872 all3605 the days3117 of his life.2416

14 В тот день прославил Господь Иисуса пред очами всего Израиля, и стали бояться его, как боялись Моисея, во все дни жизни его.

15 And the LORD3068 spoke559 to Joshua,3091 saying,559

15 И сказал Господь Иисусу:

16 Прикажи священникам, несущим ковчег откровения, выдти из Иордана.

17 Иисус приказал священникам и сказал: выдьте из Иордана.
