Chapter 39

1 Therefore, thou859 son1121 of man,120 prophesy5012 against5921 Gog,1463 and say,559 Thus3541 saith559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Behold,2009 I am against413 thee, O Gog,1463 the chief7218 prince5387 of Meshech4902 and Tubal: 8422

2 And I will turn thee back,7725 and leave but the sixth part8338 of thee, and will cause thee to come up5927 from the north6828 parts,4480 3411 and will bring935 thee upon5921 the mountains2022 of Israel: 3478

3 And I will smite5221 thy bow7198 out of thy left8040 hand,4480 3027 and will cause thine arrows2671 to fall5307 out of thy right3225 hand.4480 3027

4 Thou shalt fall5307 upon5921 the mountains2022 of Israel,3478 thou,859 and all3605 thy bands,102 and the people5971 that834 is with854 thee: I will give5414 thee unto the ravenous5861 birds6833 of every3605 sort,3671 and to the beasts2416 of the field7704 to be devoured.402

5 Thou shalt fall5307 upon5921 the open6440 field:7704 for3588 I589 have spoken1696 it, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

6 And I will send7971 a fire784 on Magog,4031 and among them that dwell3427 carelessly983 in the isles:339 and they shall know3045 that3588 I589 am the LORD.3068

7 So will I make3045 my holy6944 name8034 known3045 in the midst8432 of my people5971 Israel;3478 and I will not3808 let them pollute2490 853 my holy6944 name8034 any more:5750 and the heathen1471 shall know3045 that3588 I589 am the LORD,3068 the Holy One6918 in Israel.3478

8 Behold,2009 it is come,935 and it is done,1961 saith5002 the Lord136 GOD;3069 this1931 is the day3117 whereof834 I have spoken.1696

9 And they that dwell3427 in the cities5892 of Israel3478 shall go forth,3318 and shall set on fire1197 and burn5400 the weapons,5402 both the shields4043 and the bucklers,6793 the bows7198 and the arrows,2671 and the handstaves,4731 3027 and the spears,7420 and they shall burn1197 them with fire784 seven7651 years: 8141

10 So that they shall take5375 no3808 wood6086 out of4480 the field,7704 neither3808 cut down2404 any out of4480 the forests;3293 for3588 they shall burn1197 the weapons5402 with fire:784 and they shall spoil7997 853 those that spoiled7997 them, and rob962 853 those that robbed962 them, saith5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

11 And it shall come to pass1961 in that1931 day,3117 that I will give5414 unto Gog1463 a place4725 there8033 of graves6913 in Israel,3478 the valley1516 of the passengers5674 on the east6926 of the sea:3220 and it1931 shall stop2629 853 the noses of the passengers:5674 and there8033 shall they bury6912 853 Gog1463 and all3605 his multitude:1995 and they shall call7121 it The valley1516 of Hamon-gog.1996

12 And seven7651 months2320 shall the house1004 of Israel3478 be burying6912 of them, that4616 they may cleanse2891 853 the land.776

13 Yea, all3605 the people5971 of the land776 shall bury6912 them; and it shall be1961 to them a renown8034 the day3117 that I shall be glorified,3513 saith5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

14 And they shall sever out914 men376 of continual employment,8548 passing5674 through the land776 to bury6912 853 with the passengers5674 853 those that remain3498 upon5921 the face6440 of the earth,776 to cleanse2891 it: after the end4480 7097 of seven7651 months2320 shall they search.2713

15 And the passengers5674 that pass through5674 the land,776 when any seeth7200 a man's120 bone,6106 then shall he set up1129 a sign6725 by681 it, till5704 the buriers6912 have buried6912 it in413 the valley1516 of Hamon-gog.1996

16 And also1571 the name8034 of the city5892 shall be Hamonah.1997 Thus shall they cleanse2891 the land.776

17 And, thou859 son1121 of man,120 thus3541 saith559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Speak559 unto every3605 feathered3671 fowl,6833 and to every3605 beast2416 of the field,7704 Assemble yourselves,6908 and come;935 gather yourselves622 on every side4480 5439 to5921 my sacrifice2077 that834 I589 do sacrifice2076 for you, even a great1419 sacrifice2077 upon5921 the mountains2022 of Israel,3478 that ye may eat398 flesh,1320 and drink8354 blood.1818

18 Ye shall eat398 the flesh1320 of the mighty,1368 and drink8354 the blood1818 of the princes5387 of the earth,776 of rams,352 of lambs,3733 and of goats,6260 of bullocks,6499 all3605 of them fatlings4806 of Bashan.1316

19 And ye shall eat398 fat2459 till ye be full,7654 and drink8354 blood1818 till ye be drunken,7943 of my sacrifice4480 2077 which834 I have sacrificed2076 for you.

20 Thus ye shall be filled7646 at5921 my table7979 with horses5483 and chariots,7393 with mighty men,1368 and with all3605 men376 of war,4421 saith5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

21 And I will set5414 853 my glory3519 among the heathen,1471 and all3605 the heathen1471 shall see7200 853 my judgment4941 that834 I have executed,6213 and my hand3027 that834 I have laid7760 upon them.

22 So the house1004 of Israel3478 shall know3045 that3588 I589 am the LORD3068 their God430 from4480 that1931 day3117 and forward.1973

23 And the heathen1471 shall know3045 that3588 the house1004 of Israel3478 went into captivity1540 for their iniquity:5771 because5921 834 they trespassed4603 against me, therefore hid5641 I my face6440 from4480 them, and gave5414 them into the hand3027 of their enemies:6862 so fell5307 they all3605 by the sword.2719

24 According to their uncleanness2932 and according to their transgressions6588 have I done6213 unto them, and hid5641 my face6440 from4480 them.

25 Therefore3651 thus3541 saith559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Now6258 will I bring again7725 853 the captivity7622 of Jacob,3290 and have mercy7355 upon the whole3605 house1004 of Israel,3478 and will be jealous7065 for my holy6944 name;8034

26 After that they have borne5375 853 their shame,3639 and all3605 their trespasses4604 whereby834 they have trespassed4603 against me, when they dwelt3427 safely983 in5921 their land,127 and none369 made them afraid.2729

27 When I have brought them again7725 853 from4480 the people,5971 and gathered6908 them out of their enemies'341 lands,4480 776 and am sanctified6942 in them in the sight5869 of many7227 nations;1471

28 Then shall they know3045 that3588 I589 am the LORD3068 their God,430 which caused them to be led into captivity1540 among413 the heathen:1471 but I have gathered3664 them unto5921 their own land,127 and have left3498 none3808 of4480 them any more5750 there.8033

29 Neither3808 will I hide5641 my face6440 any more5750 from4480 them: for834 I have poured out8210 853 my spirit7307 upon5921 the house1004 of Israel,3478 saith5002 the Lord136 GOD.3069

1 惟爾人子、指角而言云、主耶和華曰、米設、土八之君角、

2 爾出北方、攻以色列山後、卽使爾旋轅返斾、

3 爾左手執弓、我將奪之、爾右手取矢、我使之隕地、

4 爾及軍旅、與爾庶民、將亡於以色列山、鷙鳥野獸、吞噬爾肉、我使之然、

5 爾將亡於郊原、我耶和華已言之矣。

6 我將火焚馬各、使洲島安居者、俱遭烈燄、俾知我乃耶和華。

7 我將使我民以色列族、知我聖名、不復玩瀆、使異邦人、皆知我乃以色列族之聖主耶和華、

8 主耶和華曰、我所言之日、今已屆矣、事已騐矣、

9 以色列衆邑之民、必出取敵之干戈弓矢杖梃、用以爲炊、歷至七年、

10 毋庸拾薪於田、伐木於林、惟燒器械、昔則見攘於人、今則攘人、昔則見擄於人、今則擄人、我耶和華已言之矣。

11 是日也、在以色列地東海之谷、往來之所、我必使角衆尸相枕藉、人埋於此、稱其谷曰哈門角、過之者無不掩鼻。

12 以色列家、葬尸、歷至七月、乃蕆其事、地始潔清、

13 斯土居民、封其尸骸、我得尊榮、以是日爲吉日、我耶和華已言之矣。

14 必簡數人、晝夜巡行、見未葬之尸、則復瘞埋、又歷七月、斯地始潔、

15 過斯土者、見人骸骨、則爲之誌、待葬者瘞之於哈門角谷、

16 遂以哈門亞名邑、人潔斯土、必如是以行、

17 主耶和華曰、人子、當告飛鳥走獸云、我行殺戮於以色列山、爾當至自四方、噬肉飲血、

18 食武士之肉、飲邦君之血、大小牛羊、俱已肥腯、至自巴山者、爾可吞噬、

19 旣戮衆民、爾可食脂飲血、以果爾腹、至於饜飫、

20 凡駕馬之武夫、乘輿之猛士、俱賜爾食、我耶和華已言之矣。

21 我必彰公義、施巨力、降罰斯衆、使異邦人目覩、

22 自此而後、以色列族必知我乃耶和華、

23 異邦人亦知以色列族被擄、因其愆尤、獲罪於我、故我遐棄之、付於敵手、俱亡於刃、

24 我察其罪戾孔多、身染污衊、而遐棄之。

25 耶和華曰、斯後我必反雅各俘囚、矜憫以色列全家、大顯我聖名。

26 昔彼犯罪於我、我使蒙羞、後導之自異邦敵國而至、賜彼安居斯土、不復震驚、尊崇乎我、爲列邦目覩、

27 併於上節

28 主耶和華曰、昔我使以色列族、擄於異邦、厥後返於故土、無不各歸其所、我不復遐棄、賦以聖神、俾知我乃其上帝耶和華。

4 爾及軍旅、與爾庶民、將亡於以色列山、鷙鳥野獸、吞噬爾肉、我使之然、

5 爾將亡於郊原、我耶和華已言之矣。

13 斯土居民、封其尸骸、我得尊榮、以是日爲吉日、我耶和華已言之矣。

23 異邦人亦知以色列族被擄、因其愆尤、獲罪於我、故我遐棄之、付於敵手、俱亡於刃、
