16 Therefore pray6419 not408 thou859 for1157 this2088 people,5971 neither408 lift up5375 cry7440 nor prayer8605 for1157 them, neither408 make intercession6293 to me: for3588 I will not369 hear8085 thee.

17 Seest7200 thou not369 what4100 they1992 do6213 in the cities5892 of Judah3063 and in the streets2351 of Jerusalem?3389

18 The children1121 gather3950 wood,6086 and the fathers1 kindle1197 853 the fire,784 and the women802 knead3888 their dough,1217 to make6213 cakes3561 to the queen4446 of heaven,8064 and to pour out5258 drink offerings5262 unto other312 gods,430 that4616 they may provoke me to anger.3707

19 Do they1992 provoke me to anger?3707 853 saith5002 the LORD:3068 do they not3808 provoke themselves to4616 the confusion1322 of their own faces?6440

20 Therefore3651 thus3541 saith559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 Behold,2009 mine anger639 and my fury2534 shall be poured out5413 upon413 this2088 place,4725 upon5921 man,120 and upon5921 beast,929 and upon5921 the trees6086 of the field,7704 and upon5921 the fruit6529 of the ground;127 and it shall burn,1197 and shall not3808 be quenched.3518

21 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD3068 of hosts,6635 the God430 of Israel;3478 Put5595 your burnt offerings5930 unto5921 your sacrifices,2077 and eat398 flesh.1320

22 For3588 I spoke1696 not3808 unto853 your fathers,1 nor3808 commanded6680 them in the day3117 that I brought3318 them out of the land4480 776 of Egypt,4714 concerning5921 1697 burnt offerings5930 or sacrifices: 2077

23 But3588 518 853 this2088 thing1697 commanded6680 I them, saying,559 Obey8085 my voice,6963 and I will be1961 your God,430 and ye859 shall be1961 my people:5971 and walk1980 ye in all3605 the ways1870 that834 I have commanded6680 you, that4616 it may be well3190 unto you.

24 But they hearkened8085 not,3808 nor3808 inclined5186 853 their ear,241 but walked1980 in the counsels4156 and in the imagination8307 of their evil7451 heart,3820 and went1961 backward,268 and not3808 forward.6440

25 Since4480 the day3117 that834 your fathers1 came forth3318 out of the land4480 776 of Egypt4714 unto5704 this2088 day3117 I have even sent7971 unto413 you853 all3605 my servants5650 the prophets,5030 daily3117 rising up early7925 and sending7971 them:

26 Yet they hearkened8085 not3808 unto413 me, nor3808 inclined5186 853 their ear,241 but hardened7185 853 their neck:6203 they did worse7489 than their fathers.4480 1

27 Therefore thou shalt speak1696 853 all3605 these428 words1697 unto413 them; but they will not3808 hearken8085 to413 thee: thou shalt also call7121 unto413 them; but they will not3808 answer6030 thee.

28 But thou shalt say559 unto413 them, This2088 is a nation1471 that834 obeyeth8085 not3808 the voice6963 of the LORD3068 their God,430 nor3808 receiveth3947 correction:4148 truth530 is perished,6 and is cut off3772 from their mouth.4480 6310

29 Cut off1494 thine hair,5145 O Jerusalem, and cast it away,7993 and take up5375 a lamentation7015 on5921 high places;8205 for3588 the LORD3068 hath rejected3988 and forsaken5203 853 the generation1755 of his wrath.5678

30 For3588 the children1121 of Judah3063 have done6213 evil7451 in my sight,5869 saith5002 the LORD:3068 they have set7760 their abominations8251 in the house1004 which834 is called7121 by5921 my name,8034 to pollute2930 it.

31 And they have built1129 the high places1116 of Tophet,8612 which834 is in the valley1516 of the son1121 of Hinnom,2011 to burn8313 853 their sons1121 and their daughters1323 in the fire;784 which834 I commanded6680 them not,3808 neither3808 came5927 it into5921 my heart.3820

32 Therefore,3651 behold,2009 the days3117 come,935 saith5002 the LORD,3068 that it shall no3808 more5750 be called559 Tophet,8612 nor the valley1516 of the son1121 of Hinnom,2011 but3588 518 the valley1516 of slaughter:2028 for they shall bury6912 in Tophet,8612 till there be no4480 369 place.4725

33 And the carcasses5038 of this2088 people5971 shall be1961 meat3978 for the fowls5775 of the heaven,8064 and for the beasts929 of the earth;776 and none369 shall frighten them away.2729

34 Then will I cause to cease7673 from the cities4480 5892 of Judah,3063 and from the streets4480 2351 of Jerusalem,3389 the voice6963 of mirth,8342 and the voice6963 of gladness,8057 the voice6963 of the bridegroom,2860 and the voice6963 of the bride:3618 for3588 the land776 shall be1961 desolate.2723

2 爾當立於殿門、播告乎衆云、凡猶大人、入此門、崇拜耶和華者、應聽其言。

3 萬有之主、以色列族之上帝耶和華曰、爾當改其品行、易其作爲、我使爾安居斯土。

4 有言虛誕者、三稱耶和華殿爲可恃、爾勿信之。

5 如爾改行易爲、彼此行義、

6 不虐遇遠人、不害孤寡、不殺無辜、不崇事他上帝、以召禍患、

7 則昔我所錫爾祖之地、以爲永業者、今必俾爾安居。

8 人述虛誕、無益於事、爾乃信之、

9 爾攘竊殺人、行淫妄誓、焚香以敬巴力、崇事素未識之上帝、

10 又至龥我名之所、奉我於斯殿、以爲作惡無傷。

11 此殿爲龥我名之所、爾曹視若盜巢、我耶和華鑒察之矣。

12 昔以示羅爲龥我名之所、以色列族作惡、我旣有以處之矣、爾可往觀。

13 耶和華又曰、爾旣作此、我數告爾、爾弗聽、我屢召爾、爾不諾、

14 故我所錫爾祖、及爾之地、與斯殿爲龥我名之所、爾所恃者、我必敗之、如昔敗示羅然。

15 我必遺棄爾、與遺棄爾兄弟以法蓮族、無以異也。

16 惟爾先知、勿爲斯民祈禱、呼龥於上、我必不許。

17 彼在猶大諸邑、及耶路撒冷逵衢、所行之事、爾豈不見之、

18 子採薪、父爲炊、婦女團麵爲餅、以奉天后、酒以灌奠、敬他上帝、干我震怒。

19 耶和華又曰、彼作此、干我震怒、豈非自貽厥羞乎。

20 主耶和華曰、我必降災、斯邦之民、以及野獸、林木、田土所產、我怒甚烈、靡人遏止。

21 以色列族之上帝、萬有之主、耶和華曰、燔祭之肉、爾可食之、與禮物無異。

22 昔我導爾祖出埃及、我諭以命、不第爲燔祭禮物也、

23 我所諭者、及使其敬聽我言、我必爲其上帝、彼將爲我民、如遵我命、必獲享通。

24 爾祖不傾耳以聽、縱其私欲、輒蹈愆尤、退縮不前。

25 自爾祖出埃及之時、迄於今日、我數遣諸僕先知、訓迪爾衆、

26 爾不傾耳以聽、仍強厥項、較祖尤甚。

27 上帝告先知曰、爾雖有命、民不聽從、爾雖招徠、民不應命。

28 故當切指之曰、斯民不聽其上帝耶和華之命、不受訓誨、不言真實、

29 故耶和華怒斯民、棄之如遺、民憂患斷髮務盡、哭於童山。

30 耶和華曰、猶大子孫犯罪於我、置可惡之物於殿、使龥我名之所、咸染污衊、

31 在便欣嫩谷、築陀法崇丘、焚獻子女、干我所禁、我深痛疾。

32 時日將至、人必不復以陀法便欣嫩谷名斯地、而以殺戮稱、死者無地可埋、咸葬於陀法。

33 走獸飛禽食其尸、無人驅除。

34 在猶大諸邑、耶路撒冷逵衢、不聞懽忭之聲、新娶者及新婦之音、遍地荒蕪、我使之然。

14 故我所錫爾祖、及爾之地、與斯殿爲龥我名之所、爾所恃者、我必敗之、如昔敗示羅然。

15 And I will cast7993 you out of4480 5921 my sight,6440 as834 I have cast out7993 853 all3605 your brethren,251 853 even the whole3605 seed2233 of Ephraim.669

15 我必遺棄爾、與遺棄爾兄弟以法蓮族、無以異也。
